A dance as old as time – SS.

Doctor Wilhelm and his team get a raven from Lydia.  What could the Princess of Greed want with them?

Scene setting : Hell’s Kitchen

Co-written with Temp and Moo.

Temp:  Much to Roxanne’s surprise, the creature actually responded to her ‘command’. The thing seemed to be satisfied to hear her talk and put up no sort of fuss about what she had requested of it. Just why was this creation so focused on her? Perhaps there was more to her than she even knew. Whatever the reasoning behind it was didn’t really matter. The fact it listened to her was what mattered, and she was sure The Doctor would be very pleased by this result. Once the ‘fight’ started between the giant and the Orc, she stood still in the middle of the room. Her body turned to watch the monster chase after the Orc in circles, which forced quite a pleased giggle to escape her. Eventually the little chase came to a bloody and violent end, resulting in the Orc losing his head to the creature. Interestingly enough, the giant stepped over to her and offered her the severed head as a sort of gift. She reached out and took the bloody and bruised head into one of her hands and then patted the creatures arm, looking up at it with a wonderful smile on her face. It was kind of cute…in a really weird and fucked up way.

Razorbackwriter:  Slowly, Igor opened the iron gate that had kept the creation along with the dead orc and Roxanne in the Demonstration room. The testing had proved what the Doctor suspected. The creature had a very strong liking for not just Roxanne’s perfect pair, but the woman herself. The mummy like nursey was a hit. The super solider would be effective against the chosen foe, but he would need to be ordered by Roxanne herself in how and who to fight. A minor detail really, but one that could be overcome with the right technology. Already the Doctor’s mind was working out ideas for how to stream Roxanne’s voice to the giant in the battle field. This would give her more responsibility, but he felt it was nothing she couldn’t handle. Igor was already loading up the head less body of the orc onto a trolley which would go back to the chop shop and be used again in the Doctor’s research.

Rising slowly, the Doctor offered Narcissa his hand when all of a sudden, a black raven entered the room and circled around the pair, before coming to land on one of the chairs the Doctor had been sitting on. Tied to his foot was an invitation. Tearing it off, the Doctor went to read it and then cocked his head to the right slightly. A masked ball? The further he read the bigger his smile would be. A personal invitation from the newly appointed Princess of Greed. How wonderful. Immediately…the Doctor had ideas. He glanced at Narcissa slyly and then asked.

“Care to be my date for a royal ball?” He asked the Frankenstein like creation, before shouting down to Roxanne. “Do you think your new love toy can dance?” The Doctor was going to get the creation to come with them to the ball, along with Roxanne as his partner. Igor…looked a bit sad by all this sudden excitement.

“What about me?” the hunchback asked with a glum look. The Doctor sighed and offered. “Next time, my dear Igor. When I make you a woman, then you can come.”

The creature wasn’t paying any attention to the doctor, instead gazing lovingly at Roxanne who was patting his arm lightly.Mmmmmm!” Yes, the creature was in love with the busty little nurse. Question was…..could he dance?

The Doctor showed Narcissa the invitation and waited eagerly for her response. This could be a very good chance to get more sales and showcase their latest creation all in one.

Temp:
Roxanne had led the creature into the center of the room, giving Igor a smile and a wave as he took care of the remains of the Orc. This creature was truly fascinating in how it functioned, though she still didn’t really understand why. Maybe it looked at her first when it woke up or something? Whatever the reason was could remain a mystery so long as it continued to listen to her. No doubt The Doctor already had some sort of plan, so she could leave the thinking to him. The creature seemed to be pleased with Roxanne praising it, which it ‘vocalized’. She took what The Doctor had said about a ‘royal ball’, but wasn’t quite sure where that subject had popped up from. There was probably some kind of invitation that he had just noticed or something. It seemed he was going to be taking Narcissa with him as his date, and have Roxanne take the creature as hers. The fact he didn’t ask her to be his date was something that buzzed in the back of her mind, but she decided to forget about it. There was no point worrying about such a thing, as all that really mattered to her was what he wanted. What he wanted apparently had something to do with getting the creature to dance. Would he really be able to do that kind of thing? “Hmm…umm…would you please dance with me?” She said as she looked up at the creature and extended one of her hands out to him to take. Hopefully he would respond in a good way.

Razorbackwriter:  The Doctor’s face softened as he watched Roxanne do exactly as he asked. Seeing if the creature could dance and perform for the likes of royalty at a ball. They had no knowledge of his life before death at the War of wrath and so far he had proved his worth in the test battle. This test….was different again. The Doctor snapped his fingers, as Igor went over to an old phonograph and took out a record, placing it down on the turntable, then cranking up the side of the box so the record would spin. Lightly, he placed the stylus arm down on the spinning record, and a song filtered through the arena come demonstration room.

As the first few strands of music were heard, the creature looked a little bit confused, but then heard the busty and bandaged nurse ask if he would dance with her. At first, he made a whining sound – almost like he was afraid too. Up in the viewing platform, the Doctor gripped the railing and urged the pair on.

“Just one dance…that is all I ask.”

The creature saw the young nurse offer her hand and he hesitantly took it in his large bloody hand. What one didn’t know was how strong the creature was, and he practically lifted Roxanne off her feet. Together the pair started to waltz. It was incredible to watch as the giant traipsed through puddles of orc blood. He was a little bit unsteady, but after a few turns he beamed a gruesome smile at Roxanne – the apple of his eye.

And then….he did something totally unexpected. “Loc!” The creature shouted his name….followed by…“Dancing!….Loc!…Dancing. AHAHA…HAAAAAAAAA!” He was thrilled to be dancing and spinning the bandaged nursey around. Loc was in heaven, in the midst of hell.

Moo:  Having gotten front row seats made for a good show, while Narcissa continued to bounce in her seat, leaning forward and clapping excitedly for the new super soldier. She was cheering on a fellow creation of the Good Doctor, even though the monster seemed to lack the brain capacity Narcissa had. At least he understood Roxanne’s hesitant orders…and clearly without hesitation…or remorse for that poor orc. The soldier managed to tear that thing’s head off within moments of it grasping onto the iron gate. This was the moment when the girl would pop up from her seat and clap her hands quickly before everyone began settling again. Wilhelm offered a hand in which she took before catching sight of bird swooping in. A black raven, to be exact. Narcissa let out a sound of awe while her gleaming eyes followed it away from the room. Meanwhile, the Good Doctor had been reading a message it had carried with it.

In watching the Doctor’s smile brighten, Narcissa leaned closer to catch a glimpse at the words on the paper. Her hands clasped behind her back while she glanced over his shoulder. It helped that the creation was taller than even Wilhelm. Though, she’d barely managed to get through the first few lines when he offered her a sly glance, at which she jumped back an inch, eyes widening slightly. “A royal ball?” she repeated, tone full of enthusiasm. “Yes!” She already danced in delight before hopping down from the viewing area, twirling after she landed rather gracefully. She held out the sides of her lab coat as if she were wearing a gown, twirling once more before the invitation was passed down to her. Narcissa took it and began to read happily, still dancing with an imaginary partner…one hand held up in the air to hold what was to be its shoulder, and the other holding the invitation to her face, attention averted while everyone else carried on in conversation.

After a few moments, her dancing slowed to a stop. An entirely rare side to the frankensteinian monster showed itself for a moment while her smile faded into a mere line, brows furrowing as she became utterly confused. The poor girl didn’t enjoy this feeling. “But…it says you and one more?” Narcissa blinked several times in reading that single bit of the invitation. Or maybe the entire group would be accepted due to the nature of the Good Doctor’s work. The thought seemed to brighten the ever chipper creation once again and the entire question was forgotten completely. Her bright smile returned and she nodded eagerly. “Let’s go then!”

Temp:  Roxanne could immediately tell that the creature seemed a bit nervous, which was actually kind of strange. She really didn’t expect it to have these sorts of feelings. “It’s okay…don’t be scared.” She spoke softly to the creature and continued to smile as he took hold of her hands. He was definitely strong, something she could feel through his grip, and not to mention much taller. She hadn’t expected him to lift her off the ground, nor did she expect him to actually start dancing. This creature really was a strange one. The majority of the dancing was actually being done by the giant, which was simply spinning her about as her legs dangled below her. The real surprise came when the creation shouted something out, and then shouted even more as he started to laugh, continuing to spin her around like a rag doll. It wasn’t bothersome or dangerous for her at all, but it was really unexpected. Loc. This seemed like it was likely the creatures name, which he somehow managed to remember. “You’re a good dancer Loc!” Notreally, but why not encourage the strange beast?
