Kingdom of Alteria : Alterian Palace – Shattered Dimensions.

The Alterian Kingdom which expands out for miles and miles hold the Palace at the very center separated from the cities with large stretches of land used for agriculture. The palace is full of rooms , chambers , halls and corridors. This is the most fortified area in all of Alteria like it can be expected. Being allowed here is a privilege granted by only a few , and as it can be expected the King and Queen lives here and frequently allows visitors ; mainly the Celestial Kings when they come to speak upon major matters to keep them in the loop of the events going around in the world.

The young female silently walked through the main courtyard of the palace, cloaked quietly with her face hidden and eyes invisible with the hood itself. Whoever she was, she didn’t seem to really care about the guards who surrounded her. Nor did she seem to care that they were all watching her like she was about to rip apart the castle with her bare hands. Which . . . for someone of her stature, that truly would have been a sight to see. In all honesty, she didn’t look like much, barely standing at five foot five inches with a hair tone of what looked to be around an auburn, well really some shade of brown, kind of hard to truly tell with the hood in the way. She continued walking boldly however, so it was clear that she had a great deal of confidence in spite of her stature. Unseen to the world, at the moment anyway, were the pair of fox ears that were flattened down to her skull in order to keep them inconspicuous. As well as the single fox tail that was behind the cloak as well, and unbeknownst to those around her, that wasn’t the only one that she truly had. This was her closest possible way to being fully human in appearance. With her level of shape-shifting ability anyway. The young girl was stopped at the doors to the throne room, and even though asked to remove the hood and cloak she made no move too, only spoke with a calm voice which was deceptively sweet in tone, along with a musical note to it.

“Now, now boys.. is this any real way to treat a lady?~”

Her voice was definitely showing that she wasn’t intimidated, in fact it was almost like she was already toying with them. Hidden from sight at the moment, was a small Tanto, which normally would be bigger but she had shrunk the sword for precautionary measure, sheathed behind her just underneath her tail. It was a very special weapon to her, and if they tried to take it there would be hell to pay. It wasn’t the last thing that she’d ever gotten from her father, but by far it was the most important. She had a conniving tone of voice, but it was sweet and gentle in its own right as well, the voice of someone who could play even a miser out of his purse. She obviously wasn’t normal, but she didn’t resist even as her hood was pulled away and her ears popped up, flicking softly as she gave the guards a small, almost daring, smile. Her ears were tipped with white, and her eyes were a deep crimson. Obviously, she wasn’t human.

“Before you dare to ask, I’m here to see the King and Queen for . . . personal matters. Would you be so kind as to move and allow me to pass?~ Thank you~”

It was obvious, even as she slid past the shell-shocked guards, that she wasn’t going to take no for an answer anyway. She looked like she was sixteen, or maybe even younger, yet she was speaking to grown men who were in their late to mid forties like they were children. It was quite the sight to behold for any servants watching, especially considering the fact she literally walked right past. She wasn’t really well known personally, but her father was. After all. He was also the father of the creator of this world. The General of the Thunderous Heavens, Kazuma Daisuke. He was her father, and because she looked more like her mother, that wasn’t obvious yet. But in the end, it was definitely going to be interesting to see how the Queen herself reacted to Kasumi’s presence.

“Step lively everyone. Mr Akatashi, if you would please stop eating those Doritos till the end of the tour. Thank you, thank you. Alright people….we are walking, we are walking.”The Palace tour representative, who was a well groomed lady in her late thirties, with large tortoise shell glasses and sensible shoes, was wildly using her hands to get the crowd of sight seers to keep moving forward as she took them on the grand tour of the Alterian Palace. There was a group of about fifty people in the tour. A lot when you considered that they were being ushered along by one diminutive lady. At the very back of the pack, was the snap happy tourist, Grant Taylor. Your run of the mill average kinda guy, who had a fascination for the architecture and art works in the palace itself. He had been trying to keep up with the rest of the crowd, but soon after stopping to take a few more pictures, the tour group had already moved on into the next section.

With his head bowed, and quickly checking his memory card for his camera, he soon came to realize that he was standing all alone in a large corridor that was right near the throne room. Course, he didn’t know he was that close since he had been so busy fussing with his camera. Finally getting the memory card in the right way, he glanced up and then looked about madly.

“Hello? Miss Tushimi? Hello?” The lost tourist was very much alone, accept he suddenly saw a young girl march past a group of guards and though he could not hear what she said exactly, he figured she must be with the tour group. “Wait for me!” Grant sung out, chasing after the girl who looked to be about sixteen. She’d made it past the guards and so…in Grant’s mind she had to be going the right way.

Approaching the guards, Grant snapped his camera to his selfie stick and motioned with his hand for them all to join him for a big group selfie. He’d seen it done before and thought it would be great for his social media site.

“Gather round, fellas….I mean, Sirs.” The guards all looked at each other oddly, before a couple shrugged and joined in for the pose.

“Got it…That was great. Thanks.” He nervously stuttered, before then turning straight into the throne room and hurrying to catch up with the girl that he thought was with his tour group. On entering the Throne room, Grant was overcome by the majesty of it all.

“Wow….this is nice.” ~CLICK CLICK CLICK~

A chilly wind had blown around the palace, mainly in the back, deep with in the woods. Everything looked like a normal lush forest but, if you traveled deeper in, you’d see ice on the ground. This was dued to the woman who sat on a long log branch, her white hair extending down to the ground and along the branch. She had white pure skin, her cheeks not flushed at all from the cold, of course she was use to this tempeature so, it wouldn’t effect her. This small snow area was her doing of her Yuki-Onna powers, making snow was rather easy, along with a small pond near her. Her clothing consisted of light floral pattern dress, reaching down to her middle thigh, barefooted and a small thing behind her back. Snow white birds flew around her, creatures of the snow and flew away, this was her sanctuary. If she was ever stressed or down, overworked she’d retreat to this place. Her eyes had been closed, enjoying the silence and nature of this wonderful day out here. Hearing footsteps she knew who it was, as she opened her eyes a pair of piercing ice blue ones showed. Looking over she tilted her head slightly and looked at the servant, who seemed rather nervous. ” What brings you out here? You know, this is my place, I don’t allow many, it better be important.” She said icily as she saw the shiver from the servant and shook her head.

” I-I-I-I’m sorry my queen.. but, you have visitors.. one came unexpected, wanting a audience with you and the king. Another guy who I don’t know why he’s there.” the young girl said and squirmed some in her place. Skylar glared a little now, people were in her palace? Uninvited and not wanted? This ticked her off, she was notified before she let anyone into her courters. Standing up she walked over to the servant. ” Thank you darling for telling me, I shall go attend to them now. You may get back to your work.” Her voice completely changed to a soft one, this was her showing her caring side. She loved everyone in the castle who served her and the king. Though she didn’t show it much to them, wanting to keep her front up. Slowly making her way back towards the palace, she turned down the long corridors coming to two thick black doors. Pushing them showed a large bedroom, with a very big bed and a bunch of items. This was her and her husbands room, it was something she enjoyed being in and reading. Shutting the door she walked to the closet and opened it, pulling out her casual wear. See hadn’t seen the king yet so, he must of been else where and she didn’t mind, she knew he’d join her soon.

Her dress had been stripped now, laying on the floor, along with other items. Her long hair drag slightly against the floor as she walked to the mirror. Looking at it, she admired herself, it was one of the things she enjoyed, seeing how well she looked for her age. Picking up the dress she pulled out, she put it on and dressed herself now, slowly walking over to the small dresser area with stuff. Sitting on a chair she crossed her leg over the other, her hand picking up a brush and brushing her hair. Slowly she put her hair up into a ponytail, slightly curling it and setting a couple of things in her hair. A small sigh escaped her lips, her applying slightly little makeup to her face as she finished. Skylar stood and walked to the door, slipping on her flats, she wasn’t one for wearing heels when she didn’t need to. Shutting the doors she walke gracefull to the throne room where her visitors awaited, why should she hurry? They had come with out any news of it so, she’d take her time on getting there. A pair of doors on the side of throne room opened and Skylar entered the room, her head not bothering to turn towards the others yet. Making her way slowly over to the throne that sat on the left throne, another throne on the right. Settaling down she moved her hair to the side a bit and moved her head, opening her icy blue eyes she stared at the people in front of her.

” I must say, you’re a rather brave soul to come here with no word before hand. Granted your status dear, it would of been nice of a small warning before hand.” She said with a rather strict and cold voice, Skylar rarely let down her front in front of others, she wanted to make sure people knew well that she wasn’t a joking person during buisness. ” I hear you want to talk with both the king and I, he should be here shortly. Please welcome yourself to refreshments in the mean time.” She said quietly, her eyes left the kitsune girl to travel to a man who stood behind her, a average one at that, she had heard him talking before she entered. ” Thank you sir, the palace was built to be the best. But I must ask, what is your business here?” She said questionaly and slowly leaned back in the chair, waiting to see what both had to say for their appereance today at the Alteria Palace.

Kasumi blinked for a split second, her head actually perking up slightly as her face grew slightly bewildered and her ears flicked atop her head even as she barely turned her head, looking back at the man who asked her to wait. Who was he again? The answer to that question came to her within a moment’s notice easily however. Tourists… he obviously had her confused with another tourist. Which… actually that may not hurt things, in fact that could be useful. It wasn’t visible, but a slightly conniving grin spread across Kasumi’s face in an instant, her hands reaching up and flipping her hood back over her ears quickly before he noticed her ears. Shouldn’t be too hard to notice that she wasn’t human with that, but it wouldn’t take him long to realize she wasn’t a tourist once they actually spoke to the Queen. Or rather, she did.

Kasumi was keeping her face straight ahead as she walked, not afraid to leave the boy behind her behind. Well . . . the man was probably in his twenties, based on appearances and disregarding that silvery gray hair. But even then, he was human and that practically made him a boy to the five hundred year old Kitsune. No reason to think of him as anything else at the moment, especially with all the snapping he was doing with that phone. Well, if anything his being around would be pleasantly amusing for the moment. Kasumi looked up at the Queen in the instant that she spoke, her crimson eyes gleaming as that small, cheeky smirk grew across her face once more and she pulled down her hood so that she wouldn’t come across as too . . . rude.

Kasumi’s conniving smirk grew, only barely, as she heard the Queen’s words to the young tourist. By all rumors, the Queen herself wasn’t very old personally. Also in her twenties. Which meant that Kasumi was currently the eldest here. Not that she looked it of course, as she barely looked sixteen and wasn’t showing even the one tail. Kasumi figured the Queen didn’t realize exactly who she was, and that was fine, if the Queen didn’t know then she was able to move around unnoticed and not draw a hell of a lot of attention to herself. Things went smoother that way and Kasumi knew that, it’s why she kept to secrecy even if it could cause problems for herself. Kasumi gave a chuckle, slightly amused and knowing one at that, as she placed a hand against her chest, just below the neck, leaning down slightly in a courtesy at the same time as she spoke just loud enough for both to hear.

(Still has the cloak on, just the best image I could find XDDD)

“G’morning m’lady~ I do apologize if I was rude in coming unannounced~ My name is Kasumi Yamazaki, ah but perhaps I should go by my father’s name, and not my mother’s. Kasumi Daisuke, Princess of the Thunderous Heavens, daughter of Kazuma Daisuke and Sister of the Blazing Heavens, the Defeater of Death himself. This man behind me mistook me for a tourist, or so I am assuming, and I must apologize for that. I have come with a simple question in mind, and then I plan to be on my way. I’ve come in hopes you might be able to give me a lead as to where my brother is. So far in my travels, frustratingly, I’ve heard nothing more than the same thing: That no one knows where he is at all. I was hoping you or the King might at the least have a lead that will set me on the right path. For as you must know, rumors are not always… trustworthy~ Ah, speaking of rumors. Y’know, the legendary warrior who created this world in a sense? Yeah, he’s no legend. He’s my brother, but I’m not getting my hopes up any time soon to be honest with you. It’s been too long, and honestly. Everyone thinks he’s a legend, so not the smartest thing to do now is it?~”

Poor Grant had really gotten it wrong today. First he falls behind his Palace tour party, and now he is taking happy snaps on his camera in the Throne room of all places. Chewing on his bottom lip, he then realizes that the girl he followed WAS NOT part of the tour. Ah shit… The young man is about to start moonwalking out of there, when her royal Highness the Queen of Alterus enters the room. From bad to worse….BAD to WORSE. The Queen addressed the young girl that had come in first. The woman was practically ice cold in her manner and almost spoke down to the girl like she was some flea under her shoe. Grant didn’t know whether to dig a hole, hide under his jacket or just flee the scene now. He gulped as he started to slide his camera away, when the Queen then turned her attentions on him.

” Thank you sir, the palace was built to be the best. But I must ask, what is your business here?”

~Oh God…OH GOD…Down boy, Down…she’s talking to you!~ This was racing through his mind as he started to bow furiously, before getting on his knees, and properly kissing the floor…or should I say the carpet.

Raising his head, he was about to say why he accidentally entered the throne room when the girl in front started off on her speel. Good gravy, could this girl talk. She talked….and talked….and you could take a few messages while she kept on talking. Grant kept looking up nervously from his crouched position on the floor till the girl was finished. Mind you he even looked at his watch a few times as the girl in front continued. Something about looking for a brother…being daughter of some legend. He was almost ready to take a picture of the girl to add to his collection….when…the Queen finally looked at him again.

Straightening his bow tie, he nervously got up off the floor and shuffled over to the Queen and gave a weak smile.

“My name is Grant Taylor. I am a convention tourist here with a bus load from the International Comic Con. I did an appearance yesterday as my favorite hero!” His sudden raise in voice was cause he was rather chuff when it came to his cosplay outfits. When he put on a mask, he could be anyone. He took out his camera and then danced up the steps to the throne and quickly flicked through to the movies section on his phone and then offered it to the Queen.

“I WAS DEADPOOL!”

https://i0.wp.com/stream1.gifsoup.com/view3/4779481/dancing-deadpool-o.gif

And…he was.

What would the Queen think of this guy? Mild mannered nervous Grant Taylor…who became a superhero at conventions.

“Do you like anime, your Majesty?” He looked up at her hopefully as he turned up the music on the phone for her to enjoy. “I dress up as a furry fox sometimes too.” ~Happy nod.~
