Personality: Reficul, or better known as the man in the hat, is a shady character, that had been something of a mystery to those that lived in the cosy town where Mariela’s parents raised their family. Ref seems to live in the future, thinking through the consequence of every action. He plans; he executes the plan. This is the essence of a rational temperament. He’s also a master of building connections and networks, which he does with ease.
It’s no doubt that he’s a thinker, since he lacks any displayed emotion and is capable of killing without any remorse, to the point where he seems like a sociopath. That simply can’t be a feeler. He coldly calculates his way through every challenge.

His organized appearance and well-compartmentalized lifestyle seem to suggest this. Ref’s planning is of a very organized nature, so it seems like he’d be judging.

He has a crazy story for everything and a contact in every nook and cranny. Whenever he needs information or expertise, he seems to have a large well of contacts and acquaintances in the criminal world. This is an Extrovert thing – Introverts tend to be solo acts, or at least have smaller, closer networks, whereas Reficul is a criminal social butterfly, a networking expert.

Ref shows a personality through his leadership, planning skills, and desire for control. He rules his little criminal world and he makes the FBI and police join in his dance. He can blend into or insinuate himself into any situation: he just shows up at someone’s house at one point, and ten minutes later is sitting down for dinner with his enemy’s wife, who seemed to find him quite likeable. Ref has a desire and ability “to harness people or demons as he chooses and to directs them to achieve distant goals” – this is exactly what Ref does.

Using a time piece that had been handed down from his ancestors that fought the dreaded Ramoska witch clan of Europe, he has been able to chose his time to make the move from the World of reality towards that of Hell – where he soon learns that his biological daughter; Tessa currently is.

The story of how he came to be Tessa’s father, which to this day is unknown to her, was from a premonition of the rise of a member of Ramoska’s modern day relations. Finding a way to impregnate an innocent woman, whose husband had no love for the supernatural, he was able to seduce and impregnate her with a child that would go on to become Mariela’s best friend and confidant.

Through his connections with the underworld, the mafia crime syndicates as well as the FBI, he was easily able to keep tabs on Tessa and her friend, Mariela till the time of the fatal fire. A fire that to this day was done by someone other than Ref.

Many demons join the Warlocks ranks to help them wreak havoc. Such as Lydia. Warlocks are great casters of painful spells, their most common spell is one that slowly eats away at the life of their enemies. While they are mortal, they can bend the will of their demonic charges to protect them from attacks.
• A dark Warlock, such as Ref is one of the highest ranked. They are soul collectors who are most evil and the most powerful. They can conjure more dark magic than ordinary warlocks and are skilled in necromancy. Above all they can accumulate the unique, pure energy of the mortal souls of those they kill. Dark magic is like a disease that leaves glowing green mark like tattoos on their skin. Ref’s skin beneath his perfect suits is covered in them.
• Shadow mist is a dark warlock’s most precious form of dark magic and one that only they can conjure. It is a glowing green mist that can steal the souls of mortals, and it is the dark magic of the worst kind. Warlock fire is the most common weapon. It resembles green liquid fire and can be conjured to throw balls of it at their enemies. It can burn straight through solid rock.

RPC – Ernest Thomas Fauklner (New) WW2 RP.

Name: Ernest Thomas Faulkner

Age: 22 years

Academic Achievements: University Graduate of Cambridge – Studied Law for the past three years. Seven foundation subjects passed with honors: Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Law of Tort, Law of Contract, Land Law, Law of Trusts (Equity), and Law of the European Union.

Note – Ernest also studied the theoretical and sociological aspects of law such as jurisprudence and parts of criminology.

Politics and International Relations

Ernest studies explore issues from human rights and democracy, to financial crisis and international conflict, as well as the nature of the political world between the European countries. This in future would give Ernest a better understanding of how the different governments operate and align themselves with others.

After graduation, he was chosen to become part of British Intelligence. (MI5) His time abroad and studies, as well as being verse in several languages, made him perfect for undercover operations in this dire time that faced the United Kingdom.

History; Born to Lord Wilson Faulkner and Lady Faulkner on the 7th of July, 1916. A dark time for the British Empire as the First World war was now in its second bloody year. Lord Wilson was already in service to fight (in the Somme) when Mary gave birth, to their only son. While he was a fine Commander and leader of his men, he witnessed events that would go on to haunt him till his death in 1924. Suicide was viewed in poor light by those of the society in which he was from, as they did not recognize at that era the affects of PTSD.

After his death, Lady Mary coddled her son, fearing of what would happen to the family name. A bright and studious child, he showed great potential in academics, and grew to be a fine strong lad, with a love of rugby, but also Chess. Yearning to learn more and do more for his country, he went on to Cambridge to learn not only law, which was an upstanding field to enter, but also had a taste for political science. He was determined not to let his Mother down.

When Ernest had graduated, he was more than aware of the dire situation in Europe, after completing his undergraduate course in France. This was a window to what was coming, and on his return, he sought to obtain a position in the Government, where his talents would be able to help the King and country. He…like his father, would come to see the worst of mankind in yet another World War.

Personality: Something of a loner, Sammy or “Sam” to those that she allows to get close to her, is a model student, who can usually be found out on the grounds as opposed to being cooped up in the library or dorm. Her affinity with the outdoors is due to when she came to understand and accept her ability or talent with the element of air. Sam is not the kind of girl to be the centre of attention, and keeps her thoughts to herself if there is a conversation going on. You could say that she has yet to find a kindred spirit amongst her peers. Sammy has trust issues that stem from her younger years, though if one were to break through, she would be a loyal and good friend.

Strengths:Her abilities to harness the weather by her use of controlling oxygen and nitrogen that is forced together by the earth’s own gravity, makes her a worthy and somewhat destructive opponent in any battle. Her understanding of her environment and the spot on timing of when the air density changes; allow her to maximize her power.

Weaknesses:Sammy is weakened by those that use the fire ability as it draws the oxygen from her environment. Those that use electricity against her can alter the molecules in the air with electrons, thus overwhelming her.
Appearance:

History: A girl with a mysterious past, who had changed schools many times in her youth. Few ever got to see the real Sammy, for she kept that hidden behind a nerdy facade. Her winter white hair was usually kept up in a tight ponytail that drew her hair back so tight that it made her look severe. With large black rimmed glasses, and wearing clothes that were often two sizes too big, she tried to be invisible to others and would often duck away outside with her favourite novel to a place out on the grounds where few would go. Preferring ravens as company than people, when she was hidden from view, she would release her hair from its confines and use her powers in secret – the only tell tale sign was when the leaves from the very trees above her were whipped up into great clouds before settling down to fall over her in a magical spectacle. The only time she smiled.

A witch is a man or woman who is born with the power to affect change by magical means (“Witchcraft”). While many witches are self-proclaimed Keepers of the Balance, other witches are known to work against the Balance, and use their power for personal gain.

The Balance of Nature is a spiritual belief system based around the observance of the Earth and reverence of Mother Nature. The goal of many witches is to honor the design of nature and to maintain balance within the natural world. The balance of nature is intimately tied to one’s spiritual relationship with the Earth, and the idea that all living things (e.g. animals, humans, plants, etc.) are considered sacred, as they are all different aspects of nature. Contemporary witches would also agree that using modern ceremonies, rituals and shamanic practices is the best way to attune themselves with the natural rhythms of the universe in their efforts to obtain guidance and knowledge from wiser known witches called “The Spirits”. However, it is implied that not all witches follow this belief system, and have the freewill to choose how they wish to practice their power.

Appearance: Fair haired, blue eyed though this changes with mood. Pale skin, with pink lips and light rose to her cheeks. Tall, but not overly. 5’7”, weighing in at 52 kilos. A natural beauty, who spends much time outdoors, loving nature and reading. She is currently in the middle of making her own spells, and has been working on her own grimoire for some time.

A Grimoire is a magic spellbook where a witch records all of her/his spells, rituals, potions, and herbs. It can be filled with information of hexes and spells. There is no original grimoire, they vary in size and contents depending on the witches who own them. Some grimoires are more valuable than others because of their content, and vary in size and content. Some are aesthetically beautiful, leather-bound, and with pages of parchment, others seem only old books with torn pages.

 One of the defining characteristics of a witch is their ability to cast spells; a “spell” being the word used to signify the means employed to carry out a magical action. A spell could consist of a ritual action, a set of words, a verse, or any combination of these. Many of which are archived in Grimoires. For reasons unknown, the majority of spells used by practitioners of Spirit Magic and/or Traditional Magic are spoken in an ancient language very similar to Latin. However, witches who practice other forms of magic have been known to use spells in different languages. Most used is a locator spell, that can be used if there is a sample of the person you seeks personal affects, or hair/blood. This is done with an incantation in the language of the witch, yet is different to other nationalities.

 Linking spells allow witches to establish a magical bond between two or more people, connecting mind, body, soul or even life force. Blood is often used to perform linking spells as it aids in strengthening the connection between the people that are being bonded together. Unlinking spells severs that bond, voiding the connection
Curses and Hexes are powerful spells that allow witches to cause either harm or damage to fall upon a victim that commonly comes with long-lasting, slowed or delayed effects. Several are ritualistic in nature and may require physical contact with the target of the spell or with an object owned by it or a part of his/her body such as nails, hairs or blood.

 The Travelers’ Curse: An extremely powerful curse, performed 2000 years ago on a coven of powerful witches known as the Travelers in order to restrict their power massively and keep them from ever settling down as a tribe by turning nature against them. The curse worked by ensuring that should the Travelers ever settle down somewhere, natural disasters would ensue.

Limitations/Weaknesses:

Disbelief: The act of denying or disbelieving in one’s potential could cause a witch to inadvertently suppress their magical power.
Distraction: Any person, substance, or thing that prevents a witch from giving full attention to their spells can hinder a witch from effectively practicing witchcraft.
Fear: A distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; the condition or feeling of being afraid could cause a witch to involuntarily block their own powers for a short time.
Herbs: Ingestion of certain herbs can cause a witch to lose consciousness and prevent them from using magic for a undetermined amount of time. The Lobelia flower prevents concentration and the practice of magic and can be used to weaken a witch as one would weaken a vampire with Vervain.
Magic: All creatures are susceptible to the forces of witchcraft including Dark Objects, potions, spells and more.
Mortality: Based off the fact that witches are still human, they share many of the same weaknesses as non-supernatural beings (e.g. age, decapitation, disease, heart-failure, suffocation, etc.)
Overexertion: The excessive use of magic could lead to disorientation, nose bleeds, unconsciousness, and if taken to the extreme, death.

Personal Item:
Esme’sTalisman is an ancient necklace with a pendant made out of a dragon bone. It belonged to her mother, Desmedora, and she drew power from it to protect herself from dark magic. Desmedora – a white witch was killed by someone that she never thought could harm her. It was the reason why Lavinia had cast a spell over herself to forget. Having placed it around her daughter’s neck, Esme survived the attack and is now the apprentice of Lavinia – who has just been awoken by the time piece and the Dark One’s betrayal.

Powerful witches, like Lavinia and Desemdora require an anchor to their great power or otherwise their spells go haywire. The big question is….where is Lavinia’s talisman?

Background: Raised by her aunt, Lavinia after the mysterious death of her mother; Desmedora, Esme was treated like any apprentice that a witch might have. Though Lavinia was never unkind towards the girl, there was something that Esme could never mistake as being hidden behind those veiled eyes. A girl very in tune with nature, such as plants and animals, she was well liked by many in the Elders community and it was thought that she would make a fine Elder when the time came. Unbeknown to the young Esme, the time piece turning has awakened a darkness within her aunt – one that will never wish to see Esme rise to take her place as Supreme Elder. Perhaps her only hope lay with a girl….that shares the same colour hair…and love of family.

Race details:
As with all Immortals, Lycans become stronger and more powerful with age, both physically and socially. Other factors can also affect their strength; such as feeding. A well-fed Lycan will recover faster than a Lycan who has not fed for some time. Lycans who regularly overindulge will usually take mere moments to recover depending on the severity of the wounds. In contrast to Lycans who are turned, Lycans who are born, rather than becoming weaker with every generation, actually inherit the total sum of the strengths of both parents’ Lycanthropy strains, and thus become stronger generation-wise.
Lycans display inhuman physical strength, speed, reflexes, endurance and agility comparable to their vampire counterparts. These traits seem to apply to Lycans even when in human form, as Lucian was seen to be able to catch up to a moving car, and subsequently survive being hit by it head on. Even in their human forms, Lycans also demonstrate other feats of superhuman strength, reflexes and agility, such as catching crossbow bolts in midair, jumping extremely high and overpowering both humans and vampires in physical combat. It is very likely that they can enter a state of hibernation and survive without blood or oxygen for centuries. They possess enhanced senses of smell, hearing and sight that are superior even to those of wolves, not just humans, and are also able to sense Vampires in close proximity to themselves. It should be noted that when in their Werewolf forms they are stronger than when in human form, able to break through solid concrete walls, and seem to be stronger than most young Vampires, as every hand-to-hand confrontation between the two races under normal circumstances has ended with a Lycan victory
Lycans can also use their claws and strength to scale sheer surfaces, having been seen to crawl along walls at great speed in pursuit of prey. They possess the ability to land on their feet without harm when falling from great heights
Lycans also possess superb physical resilience and remarkable regenerative abilities. Their recovery abilities are hampered by the presence of silver in their bodies. However, to older Lycans, the silver is rarely fatal. Lycans do get stronger with age.
They are able to transform back to their human forms, and change into Werewolf forms when the moon is full. Those who have been Lycans for several centuries have learned to transform at will regardless of the moon, as they have learned to channel their rage. They resemble first generation Werewolves, but their faces are shorter, and the least wolf-like in appearance. They also have far less fur than the earlier Werewolves. They are mostly hairless, aside from a thin mane of fur running down the center of their backs

Powers:
Ways of the sword – Users are able to demonstrate a natural aptitude for the ways of the sword. The user is able to wield a sword with great proficiency in speed, power, and skill, allowing them to perform feats such as stopping and deflecting arrows, and even hold back their strength to deal damage to their foes without killing them. The user is also able to operate with little or no effort, deliver skillful strikes to weak points with great precision and cut only and exactly what they want. The users incredibly fast weapon control may allow them to bypass obstacles in order to cut their intended target.
Enhanced Marksmanship: Ravina can judge extremely long distances amazingly accurately, gauging the strength needed to launch a projectile, in order to hit a target accurately. If a target is moving Ravina can calculate the best method to hit the target. Her intense focus on whatever she’s shooting at allows her to shut out outside distractions. She can compensate for environmental factors that would normally throw off her aim like wind, air resistance, gravity, and radiant heat (which distorts the image of the target). This allows for her Enhanced Archery.
Ranger Physiology: This consists of enhanced agility, vision, adoptive muscle memory, construction of bows, construction of arrows, an intuitive ability to decide on the places that can deal the most damage to the body, control over using a bow to the point they can hit targets without killing and other such things. This also includes incredible dexterity and stealth. Rangers are watchful warriors who roam past the horizon to safeguard a region, a principle, or a way of life. Masters of bow and blade, rangers excel at hit-and-run assaults and can quickly and silently eliminate foes. Rangers lay superb ambushes and excel at avoiding danger. As a ranger, you possess almost supernaturally keen senses and a deep appreciation for untamed wilderness. With your knowledge of the natural world, you are able to track enemies through nearly any landscape, using the smallest clue to set your course, even sometimes the calls and songs of beasts and birds. Your severe demeanor promises a deadly conclusion to any enemy you hunt.
Mottled Cloak: a cloak colored so that it seems as though he is able to break himself down into the background and become invisible.
Sax knife is a 6 inch long knife with a 4 inch wide blade, making it top heavy enough that it can bust through heavy armor if you hit it enough
Throwing knife is a 6 inch long knife with a much thinner blade, with a balanced weight for throwing with great accuracy.

Limitations/Weaknesses:
Enhanced Marksmanship: Ravina’s vision can be impaired, through smoke or other ways of impairing one’s vision.
Ranger Physiology: Ravina has a lower amount of defense in his stature, and cannot deal extremely heavy amounts of damage with swings of his sword as he is more speed based.
Mottled Cloak: This cloak can only make her invisible if he is sitting stock-still or is moving extremely slowly. Those at Ranger level can actually figure out where they are if they know what to look for, and where to look. Being stock-still makes this difficult even for Rangers, however slow movement can give the user away if up against another Ranger.

Background: Unlike most rangers who were actually male, Ravina was one that stood out from the rest. A daughter born to a high chieftain, who lost all his sons in battle, brought his daughter up much like you would a son. She had all the talent of her brothers, as she had spent her years watching and secretly training with them behind her father’s back. It was not until he lost all his sons that he realized just how capable Ravina was. Though she aspired to become part of the King’s guard, she was laughed at when she turned up for enlisting. Determined that she would once day realize her dream, she took her father’s weapons and went on the road in search of a place that she truly belonged. It was by chance that she came upon Satoru, who was himself training to be a fully fledged Ranger. Though wary of her at first, her natural abilities impressed him and he took her in with him to be trained, at great risk to himself. Man after man fell at her feet as she practiced day and night to prove her worth – in turn becoming a Senior ranger, like that of her good friend. Background: Doctor Wilhelm Schwartz was one of the most reclusive and talked about scientists of the age, when ideas of bringing the dead back to life was nothing more than a work of fiction. Noted for his extreme theories, and sickening tests on the young and the disabled; he soon found himself on the wrong side of the law, when caught trying to steal body parts from the New York city morgue for his grisly science experiments. After a serious bout of depression, he would commit suicide in the oddest way, but his body was never found. Having made a deal to sell his soul he wound up in all places…..Hell. Now he is free to work on the many bodies that keep getting churned up from the wars of the Princes.
