Kingdom of Alteria : Tourist District
Resist, remain…those two words were burned into Aiden upon the very moment of his creation, the very two words that he recalled the very day that he leveled a whole block with the single use of his power. Back then the terrified android handicapped himself for good, destroying his own body to stop the weapon being ever reborn but the past purpose he had came back the moment that Hellgate went down because of an enemy that seemed long forgotten by many. Now there he was, trying to hold back his own leash as he found himself surrounded by enemies far too eager to get rid of him, enemies who were his own kind, machines made to destroy and erase

I told you to get back!

They moved for him, seeking him and the damaged mech behind him like prey and all that Aiden did was swing the place given to him, launch a kick or a punch, and no matter the direction something fell, but everytime an enemy retreated another one appeared in it’s place. So Aiden and neither the mech could stop, the two of them basically taking down enemies by the numbers while everyone else was busy with their own battle. But he didn’t cared for them, at least not any longer as he ripped his own equals with as much precision as brutality, breaking apart their bodies as they kept him from advancing

How many more of this guys are here…how many…

His body moved on it’s own, anyone would call it reflex, any engineer would claim that his combat protocols were active and allowing him to continue with fight with all his might, and anybody with a pair of eyes could easily witness that with each machine he took down, the more and more, he lost himself into battle. He heard to the warning he was given by Oberon, he took it upon himself to set up counter measures against this trouble, but little by little, he was getting lost in it. In the end for him there was nothing more than battle here, than combat, and by the time Aiden noticed it was already too late to stop himself, but perhaps….not too late to do something else

They are coming from somewhere, attacking the leader is ruled out but…but…

The meteor came back to his mind, the fact that now the leader of this machines was engaged in combat with the two that were murdering this robots moments ago, and this facts dawned a truth to Aiden. If he was to lose himself into the rage of the battle, then he better have a place to focus said rage, an objective to destroy…and he found one, he sure found one.

Objective obtained, mission updated…changing into full combat mode, counter measures modified

His eyes focused on his new target, the meteor, his blade out and ready and Freedom Wings, the mech he remotely controlled raising to it’s feet. Aiden knew by now that what he was about to do he wouldn’t want to remember, that perhaps if the battle did not ended soon enough he would become a threat to this area…but given how good the ones here seemed to be at killing androids without having a single doubt, then they could easily stop him if he got out of control. So Aiden sighed out, his eyes becoming blank for a moment before a red light shined in full force inside them, same going for Freedom wings as the two began advancing forward on foot, advancing towards the crash site from where the enemy was pouring from

Full armament mode activated

His voice sounding dead as he advanced ahead, his blade ripping apart without any hint of mercy the machines he found on his way as he carved his way towards his objective, while the mech moved behind, firing every single weapon it had towards the target as it crushed below it’s feet any sort of enemy that the android left untouched, not caring apparently if it caused any collateral damage, if anyone was on the way, the two of them had one objective only, and it was to take down the enemy spawning point no matter what got on their way, and then simply take out any hostile in the area…regardless of side, regardless of what happened. Hopefully the counter measure would act up in time, hopefully it would take him long enough to destroy the place he sought to destroy…or else the people in here would have another trouble to deal with in their hands

Jaz
Jaz who had his weapon drawn and facing the black haired man felt a bit of relief when he heard the man’s response to his question. He sheathed his blade and inched closer to the man. “Do you at least know what happened here?” Jaz asked still skeptical of the man’s intensions. He wasn’t sure he bought the guy’s act especially sense Jaz could sense an immense power in the area. Jaz’s attention was turned to some commotion going on further up the road. He could see the figure he saw before was a white haired boy who was giving the local law enforcement grief. Jaz turned his attention back to the man closest to him. He could tell something was different about him. “I’m getting a not human vibe from you, are a demon or something?” Unbeknownst to Jaz he was in the path of the white haired boy and his motor vehicle rocketing toward him.

A challenger, really? Face showing such determination and grinning madly as he made the run towards Grant with his blade raised to slash down down down. Course, this new villain was running fast…not Godly, but fast. Grant wondered…just how fast he could go. Within the blink of an eye, Grant spun his wrist, and the cutest little nerf gun appeared in his hand. it looked like plastic and something you would pick up for five bucks in Hong Kong. A toy….versus a god like smiling warrior? Really Grant? But…you have to remember this was not Grant….it was Irasho.

In an almost dance like backward step, he aimed the toy like plastic gun at the floor where he had been standing, right where the slash would have landed. A blast like ray shot out from the toy gun and lo and behold a shinning portal appeared. it was a swirling vortex portal which if Yami happened to fall into it would take the robot snicker dude for a ride. The first shot fired was not the last, for he aimed the toy gun at a spot in the air about seven feet above which created a second portal that opened directly over the first. If Yami did fall into the first, he would come out the second, directly back into the first….and this….would repeat…and repeat….and repeat.

We’d get to see just how fast he really was.

https://i1.wp.com/media.giphy.com/media/Il6gFeUJHdCUM/giphy.gif

“PORTAL GUNS….GOTTA LOVE EM!!!” Irasho then realized something was missing, and with his other hand he created a chocolate cake. He gave the top a lick before dropping it into the portal to see if it would catch up with Yami, but in his love of fun thing, he opened another portal right near another robot.

“THE CAKE IS A LIE! ahahahaha!”

Shattered Theme

– Everything happening in all these instances seemingly revealed Yami’s decline in control over the city ; but that was due to the nature and persistence of the people here today . The Robotic being would’ve found his attacks to be successful against the comet that landed ; destroying the source of the machines and ending that threat . Yami’s lunge at the male would end with himself falling into the hole formed by the Male , a technique that also duplicated the same portal not far from above it which would cause him to loop continuously for more then 10 seconds while the words coming out of his mouth would’ve been what was truly on his mind. After a short moment he’d notice that something else had entered the looping portal ; a cake it was. –

Yami.EXE :” What is this madness?!? ”

– Yami would not find his situation to be enjoyable , finding himself to be stuck in a loop like so he wouldn’t attempt to budge as he continued to piece together the nature of this person’s shattered item. Yami’s head would begin to glow , as he utilized the data he’s gained on this realm to understand the trends of this world and its terms.-

Yami.EXE : ” Your powers revolve around….. Is this Imagination constructs ? ”

– Yami would eventually slow his descent by utilizing a pair of hover boots which soon came out of his heel as he tried to finally get out after seeing what he could. But it was at that moment a unexpected visitor arrived .-

Ori Ventrue : ]” I do know what has happened here , however I can’t speak too much on it as it stands . I apologize but this is a force that can’t be spoken about so lightly. ”

– The male said his piece and knocked lightly on his own head , he wasn’t meaning to be rude but was merely speaking truth . This was not knowledge for just anyone , they had to earn the right to know . The man inquired on his race , this made the male sigh . The man was quite inquisitive , seeking answers from a stranger he did not know but he’d get his answer . –

Ori Ventrue : ” You can call me the Overseer of the Timeline. That is all I can give to you right now. ”

Charlie : ” I got it !!!!!! ”

– After a few moments Charlie’s scream went into a controlled yell , he finally had it under control ; driving it through the police blockade and moving onward towards and past Ori and the male he was with and towards the Square where the other people were currently at. The male waved his head back and forth continuously as he gotten ever closer to the Square . In the span of the next minute a flight of stairs lead towards the southern part of the Square where Charlie would arrive to the others .-

https://i1.wp.com/i59.tinypic.com/izxfs2.gif

Charlie : ” Ba ba ba ba , these stairs ! I’m getting some sky time ! ”

– It took quite a few seconds to finally get up but with the momentum he had beforehand it would launch the motorcycle quite high into the sky ; which Charlie used to act as if he was flying . This moment would’ve been extremely dangerous for anyone else , but Charlie was quite crazy and used to this sort of thing and with that he would jump up to the point he was crouched on the seat of the cycle before leaping off of it . The jump would cause his motorcycle to crash into Yami.EXE without realizing it , that being’s location being locked in place due to the looping portals and the resulting collision would cause the male to break off from the loop . The extent of the damage done was not easily seen as the collision sparked a explosion a few feet away from Grant and Kasumi. Charlie was imbedded face first into a building , stuck there until the building weakened enough for him to get out. –

https://i2.wp.com/i60.tinypic.com/2ex8wvn.gif

– The flames from the explosion would persist for quite some time despite the fact it was beginning to rain , what would come out ? Would there be anything left intact after that ? Whatever the case though ; the silhouette of Yami could be seen inside the small sea of flames .-

Pure insane laughter. That was what was coming out from behind the mask of Irasho. To see the blur of the robotic Yami go through the portals at speeds that made him almost unrecognizable. Irasho spun the portal gun as though he was a cowboy in a spaghetti western and blew on the end before slamming it into his own coat pocket, where it blended back into his form. The power of the mask was the ability to harness Irasho’s crazed imagination and with that almost anything was possible, even if it broke all laws of physics. He was like a walking cartoon. An anime legend. Powers so vast and yet much of it was untapped.

” What is this madness?!? ” The poor Yami cried.

“P..p..p..portals and cake…for SCIENCE!” Yeah, that was a logical answer from the crazed mask wearing crime fighter.

‘ Your powers revolve around….. Is this Imagination constructs ? ” Yami’s jet boots allowing him to hover within the pull of the forces of the portals. Clever. Irasho faked a double face slap as though troubled and yet dazzled by this robot’s abilities. Crafty bunch of bolts. Pulling out a hand with a sock puppet on the end, he let the hand do the speaking with the other hand he drank a glass of milk.

https://38.media.tumblr.com/04579c280e2bf8f0926a2b3d8363c670/tumblr_nbtllg7Mx51rdjegjo1_500.gif

“You speak like yoda…but you’re not as good looking…and that’s saying something! Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk.” Milk started to come out of the sock puppet’s mouth as it spluttered, while Grant tossed the glass over his shoulder, only to hear it smash on the ground.

Grant then held his hand up and twirled his finger with such flair, before he side stepped the oncoming motorcycle…that was Charlie. The boy on the bike was loud enough and probably even more insane than the masked wonder.

“A one..two..three…step!”

The bike collided with Yami, knocking him clear out of the looping portals. The subsequent crash into the wall and the fireball that ensured was top quality. Better than any movie stunt. This actually brought applause from Irasho, who held up a score card.

“I give that a nine, Jon. eight for artistic style…but a one for that landing. Ooo that’s gotta hurt.”

Through the flames, now with the sky opening up as the first rain drops started to fall, Irasho could see the outline of Yami. Man, he must be fire proof, the masked Irasho thought.

“Do that again!” Irasho shouted excitedly.

Yami : ” …… Who assaulted me. This feels so familiar..”

– He rose from the flames , albeit slightly wounded but still dazed and wary as well . He wasn’t sure what the hell just happened but he seemed to have recalled an incident similar to this , was this to say he had ran into Charlie in the past ? That was a possibility and only the passage of time and certain individuals would have knowledge of it . The Being walked out of the flames to realize there was nothing left but to leave the vicinity with the information he had acquired from today . –

Yami : ” There is nothing further for me to learn from this skirmish . Consider yourself triumphant this time around ; Silly Human. ”

– He wouldn’t specify whether he was speaking about Charlie or Grant but it was up to them to decide who he had meant . Yami’s body turned into a bright white beam and vanished into the skies above. Within those moments however a large group of forces appeared to lock down the situation , the military might came a tad bit too late one could say. The lights shone bright upon Grant ; Kasumi , Aiden , Jaz and Charlie .-

[TC for Yami ]

Captain : ” This is the Commanding Officer of the Tourist Cities Defensive Faction . Surrender or be fired at mercilessly ! ”

– Several lights grown whiter with intensity but would be lowered once Ori walked towards them with his hands up high while lowering them as if instructing them to do so .-

https://i0.wp.com/i60.tinypic.com/3485b8h.jpg

Ori Ventrue : ” Cease your actions . The incident has been wrapped up and the only thing worth fixing now is the clean up . I can trust you with it yes ? ”

Captain : ” Oh I’m terribly sorry Lord Ori ; I didn’t realize One of the Five Devas of Alteria to be here.”

Ori Ventrue : ” I don’t like to be referred to as such . I dislike social status . Anyhow the situation here is much better now then it was before. I would like to thank all of you for helping the District but as you can see from your actions that you are lacking in experience in areas . Therefore I —”

– Ori stared at Kasumi for a quite long time and then at Grant , from his inference they must’ve came together. Aiden and Jaz moved on their own accord so they must’ve been solo units and seeing Charlie he would not take any longer to come to the inference he was a trouble maker and couldn’t decide his allegiance . Ori pointed towards the crater on the side of the building and made a fire motion with his thumb as if indicating shooting , the soldiers that stood by all took that as a symbol to fire and upon the impending rain of bullets Charlie was engulfed in bullets or so they thought. He was gone , Celtan held Charlies unconscious body upon the top of the skyscraper while within radius of Liryu .-

Celtan : ” It’s time for us to get going Dark Lord ”

– A portal formed in the space just a few inches in front of the skyscrapers edge which lead back to the ship which Celtan would leap into promptly after speaking –

[TC for Celtan and Charlie ]

– Oridin looked at the crater to find out that there was no longer anyone there , he let out a sigh to find out that the person had escaped but with this there was time to speak to those people who were here in front of him .-

Ori Ventrue : ” Like I was saying ; you must all understand that as you are you won’t be able to continue down the path you started and expect to live long without growing . You must make a choice in your life to continue forward , upwards and go further then you’ve ever gone before. Each of you are special in your own way , and only you know what is best for you . I have to write up a report on what’s happened here today but you all should get going , this isn’t a pretty sight and you should be best off sharpening your blades for the next threat that may come your way. I take it you all know where you can go to get stronger ? ”

Watching Grant quietly, Kasumi couldn’t help but raise a brow at the difference in the current Irasho and the one she had seen in the beginning of it all; of course she couldn’t be sure if there was truly a difference or not. The two of them were… well… definitely similar, Grant and Irasho that was, but it seemed that Irasho took that to extremes while Grant was hyperactive and mostly a sweet guy about it. Kasumi couldn’t be sure about what was going on, but for the moment she was focused on the fight with Irasho and the being whom had started this all; it was going well for Irasho, but with the arrival of an unknown causing an explosion Kasumi leapt into the air with those wings of flame erupting behind her. Hovering in the air with them, she eyed Grant, making sure to keep an eye on the guy she was travelling with. Sure, Irasho was witty, but he was also a fair bit crazy. That could impair planning and thinking, of course… she wasn’t too worried. Once the entire scene had ended, Kasumi landed beside Grant as she listened to the entire conversation, not speaking nor making any real change in expression. Instead of speaking or moving, she simply stood beside Grant and waited till Ori, as he seemed to have been named, spoke to all of the current members. Kasumi thought for a few moments and took in a deep breath, nodding with a few soft spoken words.

Kasumi: “I think… I may. I’ll find the clan which my father’s father was once in. Hopefully I can find some help there.”

While Kasumi spoke to Ori, Hiroaki gazed down at the events below him with a quiet and watchful look in his eyes, knowing the situation was now back in hand, his form became engulfed in flame as he removed himself from the current area. Kasumi, once she had finished speaking to Grant and had heard Ori’s response, she looked at him with the look that asked if he would accompany her. She hoped he would, she had grown quite… accustomed to his company, and it was a pleasant company at that. If he was coming with her, Kasumi would have turned with a smile, holding onto Blazing Genesis for a bit longer before she would have released it as she left the area; stumbling slightly.

And just like that…it was over. Smoking ruins, fires and large gaping holes in broken brick walls. The enemy had fled, pretty much with their tails between their legs. There was going to be no encore, no more of a show. It was time to unmask Irasho….wasn’t it? Irasho turned his head silently when Kasumi approached him and stood along side him as the one known as Ori gave his speech. A speech about choosing a path. It was pretty clear that the path that Kasumi was to take, was going to be different to that of Irasho. There was no insane cackle, or even another trick from the masked one. He simply stood there – eyes of red behind the mask that bore a sinister smile.

“I think… I may. I’ll find the clan which my father’s father was once in. Hopefully I can find some help there.”

Slowly, Irasho reached up and tore off the mask, to reveal the more gentle face of Grant beneath. His lips thinned as he now processed what Kasumi had to say. It was time for her to blaze her own trail, and a time to let go. While he enjoyed her company, he knew that he would only hold her back. She was staring up at him, expectantly almost. Quiet, watchful.

After drawing in a large breath, he released it slowly. The mask held in his grasp at his side.

“I can’t follow you this time.” his words sounded hollow, and if she was to look into his eyes, she may well see something that had not been there before. “I’m sorry…” It was not how he wanted to part ways, but perhaps it was for the best. Considering what he was feeling. While the mask turned him into this childish maniac with imaginative powers beyond belief, the old Grant was slipping further and further away.

Nodding twice to confirm to himself that this was what he needed to do, he turned away from her and started to walk in the opposite direction.

As he got some distance away, he slid the mask back on!

A dark and sinister laugh was heard, before he rocketed like a blur from the area….

– The Daily life of all commuters would be interrupted by the sudden descent of a meteor which landed without warning ; crashing into three buildings before tearing into the street itself and killing numerous civilians . What a sad fate for those unlucky to have gotten in the way of something that had happened without notice. The area where the comet had landed released large amounts of steam , and slowly small waves of troops began to file out from within the steam. One in particular stood above the rest ; most likely their commanding officer of a sort , or maybe something much worse. –

What came next from the robotic being was odd , seemingly breaking his dialect to a more direct and humane one.-

Sieg:
Piloting Freedom Wings all the way to this area did not proved much of a challenge for the android in the cockpit, if anything it gave Aiden time to scan it’s systems better and be able to understand them and get used to them, not to mention the fact that as bad as this sounded, he did enjoyed the flight. He smiled to himself, finding it actually quite true what Oberon said about him…three centuries have gone by, and if anything he still behaved like a child, something he did not knew if to find pathetic or actually a good thing. But he couldn’t help it, this was who he was, and he would be damned if he tried to change now.

And there it is…

He spotted the destruction being caused from afar, zooming in as he flew towards the target with each rifle ready on the hands of the mecha as he began looking at all the assortment of weapons he had at hand. A nice asset of energy weapons, a nice amount of battery to spend…and a lot of invading machines on sight to use them for. True, it sounded bad that an android was going to go after other machines, but this was a self defense act. This was their planet, and Aiden was not letting not even this street on their hands if he could help it

Initiating air strike now

He sped up, regulating the power from the energy rifles he carried to cause as little damage to the street and surrounding structures and the most possible to the invading machines and once he was close enough…he fired upon them while also flying above them at high speed on random patterns. He knew this was not the most effective way to get rid of them, in the end if he knew this behemoth he controlled right now had enough firepower to erase an around of five blocks around this area if not more, included this things, but he needed to protect the people and to do so, he wanted them all to notice him. And as for the random patterns? Well, he wanted them to have a harder time predicting his movement pattern. Still just in case he kept his and the mecha’s sensors and dodging protocols active, if they fired back, he would make sure they had one hell of a time hitting him in time

Aiden strategy worked as he managed to force the enemy to notice his presence and even took down a few enemies in the process, that despite not being enough to cause a significant damage had been enough to finally get the attention he sought and the data he required to modify the power output on the rifles as well taking in that maybe damaging the city a little as well as the street wouldn’t be so bad in the grand scheme of things. So he did just that, firing stronger shots, calculating the right amount of energy and aiming to taken down larger masses of the enemy while he still kept Freedom Wings up in the air

I’m taking them down but I might require aid in this Oberon…I will send you what I scanned, hopefully it will be of some use for you

Aiden still communicated with the mechanic through the mecha, having his currently his mine divided into analyzing the data and taking down this machines, while of course the remaining attention he had was on his sensors as he tried to pick anything unusual around the area…something that happened quicker than he imagined. Out of this machines, he managed to pick up two distinctive signals…signals powerful enough to be able to give his sensors signals that he wanted to believe were wrong, due to the amazing levels of powers they had. It made him consider two things, the first one that the appearance of this powerful beings was no joke, something bigger was going on here…and the other? Well…he needed to seriously upgrade his sensors to be able to measure much stronger powers

Just what I needed…

Holding a fight with an individual while also trying to force this creatures back would be no easy task, for a normal pilot anyways, which is why Aiden was thankful that he had his systems synchronized with the ones from the mecha in case this happened. So he sighed, as he noticed how out of this powerful beings, one decided to distance itself a bit from the battlefield to get into a higher position, something that called the android’s attention as he just decided to put in practice what he prepared with when he got here. He was sure he could pull this off…but still…despite that he was still nervous

Ok…I’m about to pull off not one, not two, but three stunts after what happened at Hellgate…and I don’t even know if they will work…yeah…just great…I’m officially insane

Aiden breathed in deeply, as he released the controls and linked himself to the mecha to be able to control it remotely, as the cockpit opened for a second, allowing him to climb off as he stood on top of one of the energy rifles, bracing himself as the machine threw him towards the roof and went back to what it was doing before, trying to destroy this machines, as he Android moved across the air until he landed, kneeling and rather hard, on the same roof as the powerful machine he was able to detect before. Aiden had to admit the method he used to get up here perhaps wasn’t the best but then again…it was effective

So…you must be one of the people in command on this attack…

The android had no trouble referring to the other as a person rather than a thing, mainly because he was before and equal and by the looks of it, a rather powerful and if his hopes were in the right place, one that perhaps shared the same intellect as him, or at least something that resembled. So he stood up, turning around to look at his adversary in the eyes, with those very eyes of his that seemed to belong more to a human than to a machine, eyes that right now seeked within the other some sort of compassion, or sadness over this…anything remotely humane as some sort of hope that he did not had to destroy another machine because of a malfunction

Why are this forces attacking the District? What is your people seeking?

– The Captain materialized several gems ; all glowing a different color . What were they however ? One with a Robotic body would be able to tell that they were actually energy cores. The poles on his back would all glow one of the colors akin to the gems themselves ; what this meant was unknown at this time but would soon come to light at a later point . The Captain quickly charged at the Male in an attempt to roundhouse kick him from his left side with enough force to send him flying off the building itself and into the burning city below if it did connect. –

https://i1.wp.com/i62.tinypic.com/2lvfgop.png

– The Building itself however began to slowly shake , as if it was losing it firm foundation and be sent crumbling itself . It would be assumed that this building would cave in at any point , so how long will this fight go until the elements itself gave this fight a conclusion ? –

Sieg:
Excuse me?…

If anything, Aiden was known for being rather kind, patient, and above all somebody who despite all the insults you might say and people’s general dislike of machines such as himself, would never really blow off. But if there was something that offended him, something that basicly made the nasty side of him to come out was things such as that. It’s true, he did not had blood, he would never have children or be able to truly feel the process which create them, maybe would spend eternity alone and most likely people would always see him as they saw a toaster or a computer…but despite that, despite not even having a soul or a beating heart…he allowed nobody, not a single person, to question his free will. He was not programmed to follow anyone’s orders, he did not allowed that to happened, he might have been made with that in mind but he did not allowed people to bend him over to their will, and to have this android mock him in such a way…if he had nerves, this surely would have struck one

If I do this…if I come here and fight you…

He took a quick glance, analyzing his target, taking notice of the many advanced cores it had with him as well as the poles on his back that seemed to be charged on this moment by this very cores. He also saw how he moved forward, and measured the possible strength of his attack…and just as it happened in Hellgate he was against an enemy who was physically superior. But this time he had the upper hand in something, he was upgraded…and any doubts he had before vanished by the words this android said before. So he glared at him, his anger not explosive like the ones from others but focused, focused on the task of defeating this machine just to move on to stop this invasion. So he remained there, in a sight crouching position as he awaited for the very last second to move under his opponent’s leg, as he focused his next attack not on his body, but on the back of his knee. Androids or not, they shared certain similarities with their human counterparts…and that was the fact that on certain joints the armor was thinner and also a bit weaker…and this would be the point where he would focus

It’s on my own free will

He launched a single hit towards the back of his opponents knee, reaching out with his other hand to be able to get a hold of it and hold his leg in place so perhaps, if he pushed with enough force he would manage to break it off or at least damage something when combined with the attack he was doing right now. It all depended on his punch directed to this area now, a punch he launched at full force and speed hoping that he would be fast enough to don’t allow the opponent’s body to react even if he registered it with his systems. In the end he wasn’t a fool, if anything his power and armor were better, so if he intended to be victorious he had to use a different strategy than the usual. And if things went well, he might be able to damage him enough to force him to retreat, in the end insult or not he still did not planned on taking a life…even if it was from this machine

Swarm Captain : ” Beings like us should stick together then. But if this is your answer then so be it I won’t hesitate . ”

– The Captain didn’t seem fazed by being hit at the back of his knee; a weak spot which would normally be exploited but instead would only cause the Captain to grow stiff in place and instead bring his foot down onto the ground ; pushing the fist back to the male’s side as the foot had went into critical recovery . The Captain’s hand began to spin in place as if it had a drilling mechanic ; meant to pierce armor : He would then bring the spinning hand down onto the male with great speed , intending on piercing his shoulder and if this was to miss the hand would instead pierce the ground and with the crumbling building it would cause the ground to lose it’s fortitude in the process. Anymore attacks of that caliber would cause it to crumble and send them to the floor below. –

Sieg:
Stick together? For what? To give people more reasons to distrust and hate us?

Aiden perhaps was overdoing it a little, but there was quite the amount of people that seemed to have a natural dislike for androids, in fact some of them had a justified reason to give them nasty looks they gave them. Take the Rabbots for instance, that race was nearly drove to become no more than a mere memory in their home world so Aiden understood if he saw one on the street and it gave him that sort of strange look. But this…this only gave voice to the extremists of that kind…one way or another there was going to be damage for Aiden’s kind…and this other Android comes and says that. Well, if this is what sticking together caused, he preferred to remain alone among organics

And you haven’t answered me yet…what is the reason behind this attack?, What do you gain from attacking innocents?

Aiden kept forcing his fist to remain where it was, pushing back against his opponent leg for a moment before he noticed what he tried to do as soon as his hand began to spin like a drill and head for his shoulder, an smart move considering that the thickness of Aiden’s armor was not the same as before to the upgrades Oberon gave him. Still, he wasn’t going to let him get away with it, but given the position he was that would have been hard. If he kept pushing, he might be able to remove a limb from his enemy but in exchange he would take critical damage if not lose one himself. It was then that he had an idea, and in the span of time that it took his enemy’s strike to close up to him he already thought of an idea, and given that he enjoyed his new arm…he released the enemy and jumped back, taking some light damage to the shoulder because despite not fully connecting, he managed to scratch off some paint and a bit of metal from that area

Enemy too strong…lacking any physical stimuli sensors…armor thicker than expected…

He focused, his nanites shooting off an forming an energy wall that floated behind him as Aiden laid his feet on it just to don’t fall down towards the ground. In his mind everything moved at incredible speed, as his sensors scanned his surroundings, his enemy. He knew a direct attack would be pointless, but he had the speed…he was lighter, more agile, he just needed him to take a greater damage. It was then that he saw it, that he saw the damage the floor took, and it was when his enemy cores came to his mind. He recalled Hellgate and it was when the gears in his head kicked in

Uhm…elemental my dear me…heh…

Aiden jumped from his current position, launching himself at full speed as he decided to put to use the new gear he got. He made use of his disposable kunais, throwing them at his enemy position, three in the line of sight and two headed for the cores as he decided to kick in his ability to make illusions aswell as a few of his new combat protocols. First, after the line of sight was blocked he made three illusionary clones of himself. One headed for the left with a blade, the other from above in a falling motion while Aiden himself sped up and ended up behind the enemy back, with his own blade drawed. At this point he made another clone, one that seeming went after the enemy’s back poles while Aiden himself went after one of the cores. His plan was simple, he was going to use his blade to cause critical damage to the core and make it go unstable and then throw it his enemy’s way. If all worked it would go off and also cause the roof itself to collapse, and if he was lucky, the fall, the explosion, and maybe the remains of the building would damage this android enough to give him an opening to abuse…all he hoped now, was that he fell for the obvious tricks

A slightly red light started to form out of the air particles around it, down below the fight on the streets filled with blood; a rather curvaceous figure started to form, one that looked intimidating at that. Giant horns spiked out from the top of the figures head, an outline of advanced armor could be seen before the entire body of the individual formed. The Dark Lady moved her hand up to her mouth and bit her index fingers knuckle in excitement at the current chaos and scene of the district. She ended up biting it so intensely with her canine like fangs that she bled a little bit, the blood dripping down her finger and then starting to gravitate off in little droplets up to her mouth where the droplets landed onto her lips. She licked them slowly before laughing like a small child and looking around at the flames and threw her hands up as if she was worshiping it; walking in a straight line as wings started to sprout from her upper back. She looked up at the current fight and nodded in approval as her gigantic wings flapped against the ground and hoisted herself up, many remains of buildings and the cities started to circle around her due to the wind current she was creating before flying straight up and sitting on a building that was barely in tact. She could be seen, but she wasn’t causing any trouble. She was merely… Observing.

“Oh isn’t this glorious~ Our little savior going in for vengeance!”

She said to herself with a positive tone as she kicked her feet back and forth on the building, causing cracks in it to form due to her natural supernatural strength. She bit her lip and continued to watch, absorbing all of the chaotic energy that was currently around the area. It was so convenient that all of this happened to appear, and how father sent her down to check it out. She felt so powerful, as if she could never possibly run out of energy. That if, she was to go into shattered mode that it would last almost eight times as long as it normally would. She would be unstoppable in the current condition that she’s in, almost impossible to beat. She snickered and followed the movement of each robot like being with her eyes, as if she was watching an action packed movie.

“C’mon! I wanna see who’s gonna win!”

Re: Kingdom of Alteria : Tourist District
Not far from where that bright, crimson light originated from the air above the fight that was happening above the streets, a continuing combat that never ended, the Chaos that which always existed no matter the state of the world, hate, anger, sadness, division… all of these negative emotions gave birth to that of Chaos; however, as with all things, there was something to counter the power of the other, that which would represent love, patience, joy, unity… he who was the beginner of Unity itself, guardian of life on Alterus. With the arrival of his own rival, there was a flame to originate out of what seemed to be nothing, a flame which burned with a brilliance that could never be seen in another, not in a single lifetime had there been a flame brighter… stronger than this, all but for one, the flame of he who had created this all… the one who guarded them unseen, sleeping eternally. Liryu, she may not have realized that Hiroaki was watching, but that he was, and the presence of Chaos was palpable. As the flame itself grew, becoming larger and stronger until it finally took on the shape of the one Liryu had to hate the most.

“Leone… I suppose you would go by a different name now… what is your purpose here? … You will not disturb the Alterians and their purpose in this world, I refuse to allow it!”

Though the voice was slightly monotone, the unmistakable sound of anger and determination was palpable in the air as his flames burned from his forehead, one gloved hand raised and ablaze in front of his face, his eyes burning with the emotions which resounded in his voice and his other burning with a flame that kept him lifted above the building upon which the Dark Mistress of Chaos sat. He awaited her response, but the calm look on his face was one she would recognize… the same look that he’d had so long ago when he had left that scar on her face as a male… the same look he had when he helped the Observer end the period called the Shroud.

– They would descend from the burning sky onto the area below ; right behind Liryu and observed silently as a Newcomer approached Liryu ; most likely a Celestial King due to the display of morals he had . Celtan stood right behind Liryu and watched with a inquisitive look upon his face at the male before shifting to the city . . Who else besides Gizora had this kind of strength and battle power to do such a thing to the city ? Celtan himself would not have that kind of information . Charlie on the other hand . .. . .-

Charlie : ” I am going first into the fiyaa , time to up my kill count ! Bye bye Mr. Gold ; Liryu have fun ! ”

– Charlie took a few steps back and jumped into the fires below , he could no longer be seen from the building’s roof as soon as he had landed due to the intensity of those flames. Clearly the Man from earlier would address the Female and not him ; since from his point of view Charlie would seem powerless since he was not actually in his Dark Lord persona and therefore cloaked his actual strength and power .-

He would appear to be as a angel would in a sense , even though his hands appeared to be more demonic due to the fact it looked like claws. All of the Crystals that had floated before disappeared ; having been integrated into one which was now on his head –

Swarm Captain [ Transformed ] ” You’ve a tenacious factor I will admit ; but who are you before a god ? ”

– The Now Winged Captain floated upwards and away from the building as his wings covered his own body while they lit up , the tendrils turning completely white before firing at the building itself from the sides and causing it to descend rapidly into the city below . Now Aiden would have to battle with this descending platform or find a way to fly ; it was up to him-

Sieg:
New powers entering the area, the mecha Freedom Wings holding back the robots using it’s energy cannons from the distance in an attempt to give people some hope and time to run, and to make matters worse his opponent had decided to reveal his apparent real form before him, rendering his strategy of eliminating him using one of his cores useless. So much for trying not to charge in like a loonatic, but if anything it was better that there was some distance between them when he transformed…it gave him a few seconds to think of something as he observed him

And plan A has officially jumped out the bloody window…well, so much for playing smart

Finding a weakpoint at this moment was something that would prove quite difficult, first of all because they would have to take the battle to the air and second, because this change wasn’t just a mere physical one. If his calculations were correct, and they usually were, then something more than the energy of those cores combined when they merged with him and quite honestly he wasn’t eager to find out how powerful this machine was. So he thought of something, right before he decided to finish off the structure they stood on

If you are a god…it makes me wonder why you nowhere near the strongest being here

Aiden smirked, clearly being right about this statement because of the many energy signatures in the area…and honestly not caring if what he did was just a silly taunt towards that machine. He did it because it made him happy, he did it because as he felt how the ground collapsed below his feet it made him snicker and look up at the enemy in a new light one that…and that was it, the word light reminded him something. The spotlight was on him right now, meaning that his enemy would never expect an outside strike…and he had the means for one!

Let’s see how much of a god you are when my kunais break through your armor, shall we?

Confident as even Aiden ran towards the edge of the building, jumping at times on fragments of the roof as he finally made his way to the sky as an energy platform formed below his feet. No sooner than he landed he threw an storm of kunais and shurikens towards his opponent, all coated in the same thick energy from the platform below his feet. The attack itself would seem a mere joke to his opponent, but the point was not to harm him. There were a few extra nanites in those shurikens, in those kunais…and Aiden had a good idea of what they would do him once they touched surface. As for the machine?…well…the mecha decided to use a single cannon to fend off the invasion while another aimed upwards

[i]Target acquired…cheesy phrase loaded…hasta la vista buddy…

The machine shot a full powered shot aimed directly at Aiden’s opponent back, aiming for the wings as a means to make it lower to the ground so they could take the fight where the chances of victory would even out a bit. As for why he thought a powerful shot from the mech would work? Well pretty simple…with so many sudden energy signals he figured his enemy sensors would be as troubled as his own, so the presence of another minor signal wouldn’t upset him, at least until it becomes too late

At the time that Liryu was deeply focused on the fight, the flame that was being created in front of her started to aggravate her; considering that all her eyes were able to see was a bright unnecessary light. She growled loudly, much like a rabid wolf going in for its prey as she bared her teeth before grabbing the edges of the building and gracefully hoisting herself up in a handstand position before leaning her legs back and standing straight up. She started to chuckle before she raised her arms and stretched causally before speaking in a rather cheerful voice.

“Oohhh~ Look whoooo it is! How do you like my new look? Enjoyable to look at wouldn’t you agree? And I’d prefer Liryu if you’d be so kind.”

She stated before she placed her fingers under her chin and smiled cutely, looking innocently at him as her pupils turned into dragon like slits as they adjusted to the light in front of her. She snickered and tilted her head at him as if she was a curious animal before she grinned rather mischievously. Her face read that of a psychopathic killer, one of the title that she held. One of pure chaos.

“Here? In this area? I’ve simply come to observe the beauty of this district!~ Isn’t it fantastic! I love it, it’s… artistic.”

However, her attention was pulled over to the dark figure across the way; whom was just observing. Who was he with? He looked as if he was no threat… But, she wasn’t sure. There was one thing for a fact; she wasn’t here to cause any trouble quite yet. If Anything, she was mainly here to absorb the chaos that was there at the moment into her shattered object to be used in the future; which has already been doing so since she came here.

Jaz was unlucky enough to be one of the people on the street when the comet crashed into the city. It took him a while to dig himself out from under all of the dead bodies and rubble but once he did he could see that the city was in absolute ruin. “Alright, who is up there setting the city on fire?” He looked up and saw several pieces of debris falling toward him, using his enhanced speed and agility he quickly dodged the large pieces of debris that had fallen from the sky. After the dust cleared he looked to the sky again to see an enormous battle taking place. Jaz knew he needed to be up there so he prepared to leap onto the nearest tall building when he swore he saw someone in the fire. “Hello!? Are you hurt? Or are you the one that set the city on fire?” The person doesn’t seem hurt which is odd because even Jaz is hurt. He didn’t sense any enormous amount of power coming off this person either so Jaz approached the figure as he would any normal person walking around in a burning city amongst several dead bodies after a comet fell, with extreme caution.

Liryu.. huh? Hiroaki’s eyes narrowed at the woman who was definitely, without a doubt in his mind, the Dark Lord of Chaos, or perhaps Dark Lady of Chaos was more accurate at this point as Leone had changed himself somehow to being that of the opposite gender; Hiroaki didn’t know how nor could he understand what it was that had drove the Dark Lady of Chaos to appear here. Nor did he care, what he cared about was the fact that she was here and he had a bad feeling that she would soon become involved in matters, something that he could not allow no matter what; which is what had brought him here as the King of Unity, her polar opposite. Hiroaki didn’t enjoy fighting, however, he did know one thing: he wasn’t going to allow interference with the fate that the Alterians were trying to carve for themselves; her presence here represented that potential threat to him and he refused to allow it to continue if he could so help it. Hiroaki’s fist tightened further as his flames burned a little brighter, understanding that if this came to a fight he would have to go into Shattered Mode in order to counter it if he wasn’t careful; she wasn’t an opponent he could let his guard down against after all.

”I will only say this once more, if you decide that you wish to become involved in the matters of the Alterians, I will stop you. I refuse to allow you to cause Chaos here, not in the fate that they have chosen, the fate that they want to live for! Their future, their fate, it is theirs to decide, not yours or mine; and I will protect that!”

Kasumi on the other hand hadn’t expected to see this place in the straights that it was in, instead of being in the shape that it had in the earlier times, it was in shambles and was ripped apart; this being the place that she had met Grant, sort of, and had gotten to know him at least to some degree. She still felt a bit bad for the outburst that she had released from within the heat of a moment that should never have really mattered in all honesty, if she hadn’t lost her temper so quickly she would never have hurt him at that time and she knew it, but for now she was having to push those thoughts out of her mind as she flattened her ears and looked around about as fast as she could, trying to figure out what the purpose of everything was right now.

Kingdom of Alteria : Tourist District

Ever arrived at a party right at the end and see the destruction and aftermath of those that had been before them? Well, that is pretty much the scene that confronted Grant when he arrived in behind Kasumi at what was once the Tourist district. How much it had changed, it was just so hard to believe. Kasumi and Grant had enjoyed the sites, the convention and even been to a restaurant when the city was brimming with life and colour, sound and music. Now it was like a war zone, with burnt out flaming cars, and smashed shop front windows.

Grant turned all the way around, so he could try and work out just who had caused this, and where the enemy lay. To the untrained eye, it could have been terrorism, but the truth was that this was a war of the worlds. The Terakins versus the Alterains.

Catching up to Kasumi, he placed a hand onto her shoulder to let her know he was right behind her.

Aiden grinned, knowing that his distraction worked this time as his enemy completely forgot about the mecha he was remotely controlling. So it was no surprise that he remained calm the moment that he saw how little effectiveness his kunais had in matter of causing great damage…of course…because the real hit was delivered from another direction. So he watched, a hint of joy mixed also with sadness over what he just did, in the end he knew the other one, his opponent was basicly his equal in many ways, and while he understood from where he came from in terms of standing he couldn’t allow him to continue this mindless destruction, so he watched, muttering back an answer at the defeated opponent

I’m sure someday I will fall…but it won’t be by your hand

The plataform he remained in dissapeard as he too descended towards the ground but only to be caught by Freedom Wings as it flew by his side. From it’s palm the android made a moment of silence for his rival, as Freedom Wings aimed down and shot one last time towards his opponent, a single time to end things and give him a more proper and perhaps quicker one. He just wished things could have been different, that they had tried to communicate with other androids down here before resorting to this tactic…but what was done was done and there was still an invasion to push back. So his head turned towards the other energy signature he initially felt…his head turned towards the very leader of this machines as only one thing got into his mind. The key to stop this was him…and he wouldn’t waste a single second more

Link prepared…full power activated…full offensive mode activated…

He climbed on top of Freedom Wings’s shoulder, holding into it was the mecha flying towards the target, every weapon available at the ready and awaiting only for an order from Aiden to strike. The android awaited, awaited until he was close enough as he deviced a plan at the speed that would put a lightning to shame. He knew something for sure, he needed to attack quickly, come in, dish out all the damage he could towards the enemy and just damage it badly enough to force it into a retreat. He knew he would not eliminate it, but if he could just damage it, that would be all…

C’mon buddy…let’s go to kick some can

He patted Freedom Wing’s shoulder, breathing in deeply as he closed his eyes for a second, trying to set his mind at ease before going full offensive. The words of warning from Oberon still burned in his head, what could happened if he went berserk was something he couldn’t allow, so he decided to set an small counter measure for that in this moment, as he tried to repeat himself that it would be okay even if he wasn’t fully convinced. But it was something he needed to do, it was time to go all in, release the weapon…

Now!

Freedom Wings flew a bit lower for a moment as Aiden jumped from him, taking off at full speed with his blade out the very moment that he touched the ground, deciding that he would test how fast Oberon made him aswell as how at combat he was. So he ran, sprinting through the ranks of mechanical minions as his blade ripped through them while he continued on moving, never stopping as he headed himself for the leader itself. All of this while the mecha took some height and basically fired at full power, aiming directly for the one this machines followed, Yami.EXE…in the end as much as he would like it to finish it off there was too much people close…so first thing first, he was planning to push it back, to use Freedom Wing’s cannon shots to make him focus on him and then come at his new target at full speed and basically hitting with all the force he could muster using his blade, trying to use both his force and momentum to his advantage. If all worked out fine he would back away, in the the last thing he wanted was stay in the vicinity of an enemy that could easily strike back even harder…

She had other emotions other than chaos, she could be hungry and turned on as well at points in time. Kasumi had no idea why, where or why, this damned being had come in, where everything had started; why it had started. Everything was a mystery to her, with Grant at her back, asking a question that she didn’t know the answer too, but she didn’t care anymore either, now Kasumi was in shock, looking at everything with a gaze that asked the questions blazing through her mind; why, why were you here? Why are you doing this? What do you want? Who do you want? Why is it that you feel like you can just come in and take away everyone’s happiness?! Kasumi’s gaze didn’t take long to harden into one of anger, her eyes turning into a fiery blaze of determination that burned like a thousand suns.

Kasumi Daisuke: “I don’t know what this is but… Grant, I have to ask you again. Fight with me, watch my back and help me end this. I can’t stand by and allow this any longer!”

Death and destruction, it all blazes to the fore. Kasumi’s determination ignites with a passion!

Kasumi’s flames blazed around her body as she prepared to ignite her resolve, but something made her hesitate again, what would happen if her body couldn’t take the strain of it again? Using Flaming Persona might be a risk, but at the same time what if it wasn’t enough to take this threat on? Kasumi grit her teeth and set her face before her flames wrapped around her form once again, revealing her standing in the same form that she had been only moments back, that form where she had that power; Blazing Genesis. The power of Creation.

Kasumi Daisuke: “One last time… Blazing Genesis!”

Once the transformation occurred, the flames billowed outwards around her as she mustered her strength to fight; it was all she could do in all honesty. Then, with a flash in her eyes, she hurled herself at the bastards, dashing in and out as she sliced them apart piece by piece. She was holding no quarter for any of the damned robots as she fought her way to the center. It was time to fight, and take on whoever the leader was, however, it seemed that one of the robots had a different plan as it stepped in their way. Kasumi snarled at it, but she kept her cool before charging it.

Swarm Juggernaut: “You…go…no further!!”

The massive beast of a machine roared at her as she struck, blocking her attack with a powerful swing of its ax, he sent her flying alright; straight into the building. Instead she simply charged right back, only to be blown away by some kind of shield. Kasumi slid across the ground, speaking only once before she shot past.

https://i.imgflip.com/lwrq4.gif
Kasumi Daisuke: “You’re in our way! Grant, cover me!”

Kasumi hurled herself into the air as her sword became engulfed in a massive amount of flames above her as she called down, the jump having been to dodge the blasts of energy from the massive robot, this was a revised form of her Final Inferno, but it would have to do as Kasumi aimed her attack at the robot.

https://i.imgflip.com/lwr4e.gif
Kasumi Daisuke: “Take everything… I have! Final Inferno Genesis!!”

In the next moments, the juggernaut and the other grunts would have become engulfed in a massive, wide inferno which blazed stronger than any other attack that she had ever unleashed; this one swallowing them up and then melting away at their frames until she stopped and then let herself fall back to the earth, landing with a thud as she let out a grunt and fell to one knee, with the energy blast melding into one large one that was now headed straight for her… her in her most vulnerable state. Would she be hit? If Grant was able to stop that blast of energy… he would have to fend off the robots for a moment longer, but if there was anything Kasumi could be sure of, it was that the man would help her; she had faith in their friendship if anything.

Hiroaki had the look in his eyes that said he had no bullshit he was tolerating today, but for now he was thinking, even if she was under orders, what was the point going against what he had a feeling she wanted to do; why was the Destroyer giving those kinds of orders in the first place? It wasn’t natural for obvious reasons, he was meant to cause Chaos and reek havoc on the world of Alterus, but if he was ordering his Dark Lords to not cause any trouble and merely observe… that made no sense to Hiroaki. Even under those orders, Chaos is a fickle thing, if you try to let your guard down it can swallow you whole, but that was also something that begot the strongest of bonds.. the strongest of Unity. Hiroaki could feel the strength of a bond below him, and it was something that proved his point, a bond begot from Chaos was always the strongest; and he could take power from it as much as he needed.

Hiroaki: “I know better than to trust Chaos, it’s too fickle a thing, you do as you please. I’m no fool. But there is always one thing that you should note. In times of despair, of chaos, the strongest of bonds are forged; those bonds illuminate the path of those who come after us. I have faith in the new generation, and that is the only reason I am here and not fighting their battles for them. Take it as you please, heroics or not, this is not my destiny; it is my choice to follow this path.”

The battle. Oh my god, it was more amazing than Transformers, more dazzling then the Matrix. Wow, could those killer bots move. Course, it was the plucky little foxy mamma that was going into complete fiery meltdown to battle the sons of Tinman, and normally, while Grant always trusted her judgement in a fight, he could see that even she had forgotten the limits of what her powers could do, or rather…pushing the boundaries so hard that she was now a danger unto herself. There was a saying that once you reach the top, you stop. You don’t keep surging up. The fall would be crippling. And so it would seem, for after nodding in affirmation that he would be her back up, he noticed that she had gone too far ahead. Her own injuries would come back to haunt her and for Grant, he simply could no longer sit on the side lines. it was time…for Irasho!

“DUN DUN DAH!” The war cry of Grant as he pulled out his shattered item, the mask. For extra dramatic purposes, he wiggled his eyebrows, his head doing a classic wobble, before he brought the mask down to secure over his face. Crying out and yet laughing at the same time, as the power of the mask took him over, Irasho started spinning like he was his own little tornado. Dodging fire balls and flaming bits of metal that came his way before he finally stopped right in front of the injured kasumi. When he did stop spinning, he was standing wearing of all things….a baseball outfit and his twin swords rocketed out of his back pack turning into the biggest baseball bat you ever did see. He tapped it on his upturned heel, before swinging the bat as he readied himself for the mother of all hits. Chewing tabacoo and you could hear him mutter.

“BATTER BATTER BATTER…SWWWWWWWWWWWWING, BATTER!”

The blast of the fire ball that was coming towards them was like the force of a juggernaut and Irasho brought his arm back before launching into the hit, striking the fire ball of energy with the powered baseball sword bat.

~CRACK!~

Up up up went the ball of flame….the robots all looking up as a few were darting to get out of the way of the strike path. Grant was already starting a run, and instead of just jumping on each base, he was knocking out robot after robot with the swing of his super sized bat.

It was the baseball game of his dreams….his anime dreams that is.

Shattered Theme

– The Leader of this Invasion would soon take into account that his Swarm Captain has fallen , sighing while seeing shots come at him ; all that ended up curving at the last possible moment due to the redirection fields that was around him making the attacks worthless that were done by the Machine that had defeated his captain or so it seemed . While the male soared through the sky on the Mecha there was one thing he didn’t look for : The remains of the Captain . In the next 3 seconds a large yellow beam would be released from the building to the left of Freedom Wings ; making it so that he would only have a short window of time to attempt escaping but close enough that it’ll cause his nerves to move at a faster rate due to the swift action that had been taken by the enemy , maybe his job was done since more had came onto the scene . The black haired man would watch Kasumi and Grant from the distance as Yami had stopped reacting to him , it would be as if they were ignoring him due to the fact Yami didn’t attempt to fight him knowing the robots would just die from him but why was he not helping ? Most likely due to the fact there were some elements and factors here that did not factor in for such . Yami.exe kept his eyes fixated far off in the distance seeing the flaming-display of two other people who were slowly closing in : One of them had a Shattered Item……. –

Yami.exe” Come closer . Come to me , Child of the False Light . ”

– Why was he so interested ? What reason could there be ? In the span of the next few moments Yami would end up causing his robots to stop their assault , turning into nothing more then dolls at this point . From an inference ; it could be clear that he must’ve been awaiting for a person with an Item , he was intrigued. Very much so…….. –

Sieg:
It was utter chaos right now and anyone would be able to easily tell so, as long as they were in a good enough position or they had some sort of connection to chaos itself. Robotic and organics basicly going at each other with all their might, trying to stop this invasion or either trying to make it succeed. And sadly one of the many beings who was very well aware of all the destruction going around him was the one android who was fighting for the district, the one who was going alongside the mecha in an attempt to meet with the leader of this invasion and try to destroy him…while also trying to focus himself on an objective, as an attempt to not think about what he was doing. For anybody it would seem easy to destroy some machines, because they were that, just machines…but this were equals in some shape of form to Aiden, each time his blade ripped through one of this machines or his sensors picked up them being crushed or burned into melted piles of metal…he honestly felt sightly disgusted in the pit of his stomach. It made him not want to look, to only focus forward…in hopes that without a leader this machines would stop…but even then he knew that for beings like himself things would go only downhill from here if this attack could be stopped, of course the moment he saw how the shots fired from Freedom Wings were just shrugged off like that, that chance seemed unlikely

What the hell?…

A moment of shock it’s all it took for one of the machines to get a hit on him, throw him off his high speed course into the grip of another that never finished getting a hold of him. The defensive protocols again, acting before he could thing as the blade took care of the machine before in, as he basically went through it, and another…and another…until finally he landed again on the ground, his blade bearing the stains of some sort of liquid stored inside the machine’s core, apparently to keep it cooled and also to help with the process of generating energy, a liquid that if you were technical about it could be considered the lifeblood of this machines…that that right now covered a great part of Aiden. He would have felt disgusted, if the moment this took place it was Freedom Wings the next to have been struck.

Dammit, nobody else just wants to drop in and make this more complicated!?

The mecha was fast to maneuver to avoid most of the damage the beam would have caused, but sadly in the process of dodging it lost part of it’s shoulder as well as most of one of the wings and the powerful impact itself caused it to collapse into the ground and a very rough landing. Many of the attacking robots may have taken severe damage and be destroyed by this, but nevertheless the mecha took damage as well…of course not before, thanks to it’s own offensive protocols and Aiden himself, it aimed it’s rifle towards the direction the beam came from, shooting back as the Android made it’s way towards the building the mecha rested against, forcing itself on it’s knee as it raised it’s rifle, while Aiden in the ground held up the arm from where the blade came from. By now even if the attacked showed itself or not it wouldn’t matter…it was getting pretty crowded around Aiden’s position and he began feeling strange…noticing the many dark thoughts that came to his mind, the many way to dismember this machines into nothing

Why are you attacking…why would you do this…

He felt himself panting, his blade sightly trembling as he made an effort not to lunge but it was clear that he was starting to lose it from all of this. He wanted to end this, to make this machines dissapeard into nothingness so he wouldn’t have to face the fact that he was killing his own kind…but then again what difference would it make if he eliminated them all or not? Two organics were wrecking them apart and maybe even fun in doing so, and after this he would be lucky if he could walk during the day without feeling people’s stares on him all because a bunch of psycotic machines attacked this place. The next days for him, just because unlike others was made and not born, would be hell one way or the other and he could do what choose which one to get through. It was this thoughts that ruled on his head, despite his apparent cheerful behaviour…it was these thoughts that went around him right now and combined with the usage of the new combat protocols cause an strange reaction in him…who knows, maybe even the presence of a certain chaotic lady was to blame, maybe or maybe not, but one thing was certain, he just needed a push in the wrong direction, one small tap before he pretty much lost it. And given that he still had Freedom Wings under his command, it wouldn’t be a good thing if he did lost it

I don’t get it…what would be so important for you to do this…

♦LIRYU♦

Liryu, at the time was just simply forcing her wings through the air, slicing the smoke in half around her as she hovered there just simply glaring at him. Her armor and horns glimmering from every direction due to the flames that still surrounded her and the rest of the people in the area. She was obviously, if paying attention; one of those most strange things there. Especially since she had such a huge role in a part of this little thing called destruction and peace. She just looked at him with a completely blank expression as he spoke, almost as if she was in her own little world as he talked on about… god knows what. Of course she didn’t mean to be disrespectful, it just happened to be someone who she despised and didn’t really wish to listen to. She saw his lips moving, but heard practically nothing as the constant clangs and clashes of the other battle that was currently going on echoed through the district. As he finished discussing his little point, she read his lips enough to get where he was heading in order to make her reply to him.

“Oh darling do you honestly think your little bonds can destroy mine with such ease? If you don’t recall, we’re precisely even… It all depends on who lasts the longest. But also.. Keep in mind. There will be chaos where ever there is life. War. Stress. Anger. All of it is a part of life dear~ so whenever you see that giant war over territory go on, or two gods fighting over one side or another… It’ll always be purely.. Aha..Chaotic.

Now if you don’t mind, I need a new seat since my entertainment moved.”

She stated rather darkly before she waved goodbye. And stopped flapping her wings and just dropped down into the air until last minute where she spun around and started to soar off a bit closer to where the robots have moved. It was like a sci-fy movie, but even better since it was right in front of her. Sure, there’s the possibility of being hurt; but why should she worry when petty things like those weapons would barely even scratch her? As she got closer and closer, she once again picked a high up seat, sitting on the burning metal which seemed to have absolutely no effect on her; or she acted that way at least.

Jaz

In the confusion created by “whatever it was” falling into the city Jaz used this as an opportunity to find cover. He hid behind some large pieces of ruble and examined the figure that had just fallen out of the sky. After the dust kicked up by the shockwave settled Jaz could see the “whatever” was a “whoever”. He whispered to himself, “I hate it when I’m right! This just got interesting.” He could see it was a tall man in all black who didn’t look like someone who could do all this to a city but Jaz knew not to underestimate the people of this world. After assessing all he could in the short time he had he emerged from the ruble and confronted the man in black. “Where does your allegiance lie?” As soon as it left his mouth he felt a bit silly because he didn’t even know where his allegiance lie.

Kasumi knelt there, her energy far more drained than what she had anticipated it to be considering her body should have already adjusted after using it at least once; she was wrong, this form took so much energy it was staggering, using the Final Inferno Genesis hadn’t helped at all as she had been intending to throw a lot less of the amount of power she had, but for some reason she couldn’t control the output. It drained her intensely because of it; she had the power, she just couldn’t control how much she was throwing out. It would have been different if her attacks threw out too little, that way she knew that it wouldn’t be so draining; no, instead of that it was the opposite, her body opened the facet at full blast instead of just plainly letting her control how much flow.

Grant seemed to be having a ball where he was, so Kasumi pushed herself up and looked to the ground for a few moments while gazing at the flames circulating around her and the city. It was still infuriating to the Kitsune what had happened, why did this bastard feel he had to do all of this? What was driving him? Who was he? Kasumi almost didn’t care at this point, but she felt she had to know who this was and for what reasons she had no idea why. Standing strong, Kasumi set the sword to one side and let flames curl down its form as she began walking straight past every one of the dolls that were the robots; her eyes and hair blazed, those crimson orbs flaming with an anger and determination to end this all.

Hiroaki kept his passive look in his eyes, he was simply just being serious here and now and wasn’t too bothered by the change in the woman, it felt to him she was dropping her little facade and though that meant he might need to fight she simply retreated to continue observing on everything that was going on. Hiroaki wasn’t sure what he was supposed to do, or what she was going to do, but his faith was further solidified by the strength of the bond below; it was the bond of people who could stick together and help one another, have each other’s backs and forever stay together as comrades who would assist them in their endeavors that led them down the path of the fate that they chose. Hiroaki didn’t move from his position right away, but in a few moments he did. He lowered himself onto a nearby building, watching as the flames on his forehead ceased their miniature inferno.

Nothing could be more crazy, then how Grant or rather Irasho; the crazed masked anti hero. The way in which he skidded into the imaginary home base plate sent up a plume of dust and smoke, which cleared only to show Irasho dressed completely different. The large baseball bat had split and returned to the shape of the twin magical blades that the Queen had given Grant at the very beginning of his quest. He sported a long black leather coat, like the kind worn by a Matrix warrior, and while he may not have been wearing dark shades, his shattered item – the mask had turned into a wicked visage. His eyes were a ruby red colour, one could say blood like, and there was this hideous grin that showed off flashing razor white teeth. But it was not just a mask now, it was almost as though the man known as Grant no longer existed. One thing about this shattered item was…the more you wore it…the more it took over its wearer. Already Grant had shown signs of his personality becoming almost morbid in a sense. Kasumi was often so wrapped up in her own problems, with family and the past that she could have missed the signs of the degeneration of Grant’s very soul.

While Kasumi walked almost calmly past the lines of what were now dolls, Grant was sniggering. His back almost hunched though his broad shoulders made him seem larger than before. The baseball game with the blazing fire balls was fun, but surely it was not over. There had to be more fighting to come. Kasumi was blazing, her hair almost the colour of fire as she strutted along with her sword almost poised for what would come next, but she merely called out to Grant to leave the battle grounds. Irasho stopped the snicker but he quickly turned and snatched one of the heads of the dolls and with a quick snap with his hand the head popped off, with sparks and wires poking out of the neck. He couldn’t be blamed for wanting to leave a headless gift for whoever ordered the attack.

But as he fell in behind Kasumi, a voice was heard….calling…

Yami.exe” Come closer . Come to me , Child of the False Light . ”

Irasho turned his head then looked to see this…Yami character who was not even fighting by the looks of it….just staring.

Irasho placed a hand to his chest, and then in a voice reminiscent of De Niro, Irasho said back.

“Are you talking to me? Huh? Are you….talking…to me?”

“Grant Taylor, will you stop acting like a child and wait before you charge!”

Grant was too busy bopping along to the song that was buzzing in his ears. He did however turn to see Kasumi’s grumpy face and grimaced. He threw away the dead rat and ran his fingers down his pants before appearing cheerful once more. Why wasn’t he afraid? Why wasn’t he pissing his pants with what they were walking into? Was he simply so seriously stupid that he didn’t feel fear? No…that was not it.

“I am a master gamer on Xbox. This will be just like a game, Kasumi.’

He nodded enthusiastically, as he spun around again. Yep, he was stupid. Thankfully the booze had started to wear off but there was an after effect of drinking all that beer.

“Shit…I need to tinkle.” Seeing a spot that was on fire from the approaching entrance to the fiery battle, he unzipped and turned his back on the kitsune, deciding to be a little fireman and help put out the flames. “Ahhhhhhhh! Oh yeah…..that’s it.” he peed….and he peed. God, he was peeing so much that he started to write his name on the wall with it. Wiggling his ass as he did so. What a guy.

A good minute and a half, he gave his whizzer a shake, before pushing it back inside his pants and preparing to head off again. The prison was ablaze. Well, this section of it. There were burnt bodies of rioting prisoners and guards and the smell was of nothing but death. It was enough to make you gag. Taking off his head phones, he placed them on his neck, as he reached into his back pack and took out…..the mask. Holding it firmly in his hand, he waited for Kasumi to catch him up, before he put it on. No sense rushing the show.

Good God above this man was insufferable at times, but she couldn’t hate him either; he could be such a pain but was also a sweetheart when it counted. It made it impossible to be mad at him, or at least stay mad at him, which is why Kasumi was beginning to just reign in her anger and rub her forehead softly with a deep sigh. Kasumi decided to ignore him for the time being and instead decided to simply focus on keeping an eye on her surroundings, preparing to fight just as she was needed. She’d have to kill here, but that . . . that would be fine. It wouldn’t have been the first time. Kasumi took a deep breath as she let her Kitsune form reveal itself, just as she had done to Keikei, except this time she didn’t hide away any of her power and unleashed her Jaki in full; her crimson eyes glowing from their sockets.

But soon enough several giant chunks of blocks used to make this building came crashing down around them as well as cages used to hold prisoners over pits . Hellgate Prison Cell Block 1 : Main Hall

It was an odd sensation, when Grant and Kisumi finally moved into the area where they were meant to fight. Talk about an anti climax. The fighting in this part was relatively minor compared to the harsh screams and sounds of battle coming from the other cell blocks. Glancing up, almost expecting there to be some sort of trap or device that was going to be triggered, Grant wasn’t disappointed. Large sections of the building – the cages that were used to hold prisoners over the pits came crashing down, with a great deal of noise as they hit the bottom. One after the other, that made the ground that Grant and Kasumi stand on – quake violently.

Sure enough, as Grant went back to watching the sky, he finally saw something that he did recognize.

“Oh you got to be kidding me.”

Grant turned towards Kasumi and then said “Remember the Abysmmal pond? Welp, looks like Mister Fishy is up for more war games. He must REALLY want my mask.’ Grant was not about to let the man have that satisfaction. “He can rip it off my cold dead body….uh huh.” The crazy comic guy started to place the mask on his face, when his whole body spun like an out of control hurricane. Spinning violently as the mask became fused with its owner, till finally it stopped and there he was….Irasho.

He started to walk with a real snappy strut and began to sing with a lisp.

Walking down the street
With some evil in my eye
And some thoughts in my head
That were making me feel high
On my head was a hoodie
In my ears was some bass
I was walking by my dog
When I saw that sexy face
Come towards me
With a little cheeky smile
If she was a phone
I’d pick her up and dial
The fire brigade
Or zero zero zero
She stopped me in my tracks
And I said, “Mmm hchello, hchello…”
Woah hchello, hchello

He held up his hand to his ear like it was a phone, obviously more than happy to greet the fishy bastard, with some sass and a bit of jazz.

“Hereeeeee…fishy fishy fishy.”

Kasumi gave an inward groan as the duo had come across someone that seemed to be definite trouble to the two, with the falling debris and cages, things couldn’t get any worse till they did; and damnably they definitely did with the appearance of someone who was apparently very familiar for Grant. Oh great, so Grant had made an enemy back in the Core as well; but then again… if there was one here, then that meant Keikai might have been here. Which means… Kasumi growled softly as she flexed her right hand, letting several swords slowly rise upwards from the ground around her as she recalled what he’d done to her right arm.

The swords around Kasumi gleamed brightly, and despite the fact that they seemed to float upon their tips, Kasumi knew better than anyone that they were just normal swords and didn’t have much real effect to them. They were just that; swords. Kasumi was simply ready to help Grant, or rather Irasho in this case, whether they needed it or not. Presumably not. Kasumi wasn’t strong enough to take on an opponent with an aura like that, so ominous that she personally was frozen and unsure of what she should do just yet. Should she take the offensive?

– The Man simply stared and continued to do so , those people were back once more. The ones he had seen from a week ago , what a courageous duo . But clearly they knew what fight to pick and which to stay away from . The man in the suit began to walk away , it would seem as if there was no problem with him since he retreated and since he was too dangerous ; they would only meet death coming onto him the way he is now . While the suited male walked away , another male took his place ; a familiar one as well it would seem. Sitting right on the edge of the cliff of where the suited male had been before taking his departure , he would speak to the duo and the tense tone he had given off would show that he was not in the mood to see these two once more ; a living symbol of his failure one week past. There was no more time to be wasted –

Irasho was so busy trying to bait his fishing rod, to reel in the big fishy – when the guy he had fought at the Abysmmal pond decided to simply turn and walk away. Like…the fuck? Who does that? Who makes a showing and then leaves before the first punch? Irasho was so incensed by this display of what he thought was cowardice, that he took his fishing pole and snapped it across his raised knee.

“Fancy pants walking out on a fight?” He was surprised that the fish went as well. No fishing for this crazy character, not now. Instead the only one left didn’t appeal to Irasho at all. Keikai was back, but by the look on Kasumi’s face, she was itching to scratch out his eyeballs.

“Okay Kitty Kasumi. Go sharpen your claws on Dweeb number two.” He jerked his head towards Keikai, so that the kitsune could have at it. As he did this, lights started to flash within the area, and the structure itself was starting to break apart.

Why was this occurring, you might ask? Time to wind up and move on.

Kasumi was actually incredulous herself that the man whom Grant had challenged had decided he wanted to run, with the two fish that Grant, or rather Irasho in this case, had been taunting with the fishing pole. She had to admit, this guy was totally off the wall with everything that he did, she had no way of predicting him in the slightest. Oh, but then again, she did have a read on the fact that no matter who it was, he was an UTTER ASSHOLE! Fucking dick! I’m not a cat! I’m a fucking fox! Oh how she really, REALLY, wanted to rip his head off; Kasumi instead turned straight to Keikai with a snarl on her face. She knew that Flaming Persona was the only way to match him, even if she decided to exert her Fire Fear. However, simply matching this male wasn’t going to cut it, they didn’t have the time to fool with him. Kasumi took a deep breath as her flames erupted around her, her Fire Fear now erupting in full force around them, causing a change in the atmosphere; this is what she and her family were known for, the thing that struck fear into the hearts of humans, the exertion of her Fire Fear causing the entire atmosphere to feel an increase of pressure of sorts; an increase of mental pressure instead of physical or spiritual, this was more pressing at the fears of the male. His fear of fire. Everything had a natural fear of fire, Kasumi merely exploited that.

While Kasumi was letting her flames blaze around her, she began to fuse her flames along with her Life-Force; it was a risky process, however she had a plan to use a new technique she had been formulating ever since her last battle with Keikai. Only now was the time to unleash it, and see if it actually worked. Kasumi could feel the flames and Life-Force begin to mix, swirling about around her and inside of her body as they mixed, but didn’t fuse as she was trying to accomplish. Kasumi kept pushing, her snarl growing wider and wider until it couldn’t grow anymore, her rage and hatred towards Keikai causing it to force together the Life-Force and Flames fully; and the moment those fused Kasumi’s body erupted in a funnel of flames that soon disappeared as her voice rang out. Leaving her standing for the male to see easily.

“Blazing Genesis!”

With that, the ground around Kasumi erupted with flames that were stronger than the very flames that she’d had even in Flaming Persona form, this technique now created by Kasumi’s desire to kill Keikai once and for all, was a fusion of her Life-Force and her Flames to create a new kind of technique entirely. How would Keikai react to this new Flame, this new ability, this new threat? The threat that was stronger than what she’d done with Flaming Persona.

Name: Blazing Genesis
Type: Transformation Technique
Requirement: The will to risk your own Life-Force to defeat an opponent and fuse your flames with your life.
Description: This Technique is an exclusive technique to Kasumi. When activated, this technique causes Kasumi to undergo appearance changes, most notably causing her hair to begin to emit sparks and flicker as though it is on fire. Though Kasumi still retains her ability to manipulate fire in its most basic form, she is also now able to use her Life-Force infused Flames to create sentient creatures of Fire and even create working limbs for combat, both offensively and defensively. The limbs created are not limited to bodily limbs as this form allows Kasumi to create many different kinds of constructs unlike she could have before; making her more dangerous while also gaining an increase of power in her flames.

” Oh Something New ; You know , you aren’t the only person who came up with something new during their time off. Foggy Hell !

– The male leaped down and held two hands towards one another as if he had a ball in between ; a swirling mass began to increase in speed and increase in density . A foggy substance, a shift in aura and a change in the environment as the air became tainted by the increasing levels of fog that continued to taint Keikai’s hands and body ; turning them red instead of purple and the fog when finished reaching it’s ideal state ; Keikai would slam the ball onto the ground which released a large explosion which turned into a AoE change ; the entirety of their current area had been covered in purple shades , the ground the walls all became a softer substance and became similar to dough . It lost it’s substance and was falling apart even moreso then before. Keikai rose his darkened arm and glared at the Female across from him , her powers weren’t fully as effective as Terakians were not afraid of physical and natural forces as Gizora was capable of making these things at his/her simple wave of a hand ; which of course has meant they didn’t feel fear like Alterians did . From this point on they were in Keikai’s Fog Zone as long as they were in this area . The fog increased within Keikai’s area however ,but not before long something arose from that fog . Something which was as big as the entire Cell Block ; which meant to either stand your ground and fight here and now or move out and fight somewhere more spacious. This form was only able to be realized by shifting the state of the fog into a solid matter but since it was nearly impossible to do fully it came off as appearing like a slimy-substance which nullifies the person’s senses upon physical contact. –

Grant was epic at pissing off Kasumi. Be it with the mask on or not, he was just always saying and doing things that riled her fur. This could be seen as a good thing however, cause when she was pissed, she could really charge her fire…and charge it she did. Course, the fog was being a bit of a nuisance. Grant tutted as he tried to see the hand in front of his face. Unfortunately he couldn’t. This called for some hard thinking from Irasho.

How does one get rid of a super fog cloud? With a super sized hand wind mill. You know the kind that you get from the fair or arcade. Patting down his suit, he made a loudAha! and pulled out a comical looking little hand wind wheel. It was the kind that was like a hypnotist used and the faster it went around the harder it was to stay focused. Taking a deep breath Irasho blew on the fan, and the size of the fan started to grow. Again…huff….puff….huff…puff. The wind wheel grew larger and larger till it was so big that it was like he was holding a super stop sign.

“Time to….blow your cares away.” Irasho blew so hard on the fan that it coughed and spluttered like a small plane engine igniting, till it came to life and the wheel spun so violently that it created enough turbulence to blow away the fog and clear the line of vision for Kasumi to fight.

“Ahahahaha….ooo lookie….big blob boogy. Someone blows their nose after eating cotton candy and calls it a beastie!”The wind wheel brought about more air to help fan Kasumi’s fire flame magic…and this was the best thing Irasho could do to help.

He started to sing a long like he was a circus master.

“Do do dodododo do do do….do do diddle diddle do do do.”

“You’re annoying, just hurry up and die already.”

Kasumi’s voice sounded calm, but was full of an unbridled anger as she jumped straight into the air; though the antics of Irasho were definitely annoying and unneeded, she had to admit that his idea to blow away the damnable fog was a good one, one that helped her out here as she intended to kill Keikai here and now. She wasn’t leaving until he was dead, and it was time to unleash the power of Blazing Genesis in full here and now; Kasumi rose her sword above her head climbing into the air before she began her decent, swinging the sword downwards and sending a massive eruption of flames downwards at the male.

https://i.imgflip.com/kdr2y.gif
“Genesis Raze!”

Should this attack hit the male, he’d find that the Flames were actually stronger than ever before, and would begin to cause the mucky solidified fog to slowly break up and be reduced to nothingness; the heat of the flames allowing her to burn away even this substance. Kasumi wasn’t going to risk falling down into that murk, and therefore she formed a pair of bird-like wings out of her flames, flapping them downwards as she hovered in midair. Kasumi wanted to know how Keikai would react to her new level of power, but not only that; she wasn’t done yet. Kasumi’s eyes burning, her hair blazing as though it was on fire itself, and the wings she created; it seemed that this form had far more that it could do aside from having increased her physical ability as well as reflexes and the power of her flames. Why wasn’t she showing that now? Did she have a plan?

– Keikai attempted to throw his fist towards the female , however the slow movement it had to take due to it’s form had slowed it down ; in exchange for it’s size which in turn proved fatal as the flames which were powered by the fan would consume and reduce his fist’s composition into a mere scorched stub on the beast which now only had one hand . The rest of the flames would hit the male’s chest and face , burning the frontal shell and causing it to turn into a weakening mush of gases. It would seem that they both had upgraded from their previous fights , but Keikai had lost his speed for power and that proved to be fatal as at this point in time he had struggled to keep his form stabilized . A failing effort indeed. –

Kasumi let herself drop to the ground, her brow furrowing further in determination to end this here and now, since she had Keikai on the ropes for good; he wasn’t escaping alive, and having sacrificed his speed was only helping Kasumi end this here and now. Kasumi let the flames below outwards from her form now, closing her eyes as she pointed her sword skywards, letting out a call that grew louder before she ended it with a shout aimed directly at Keikai.

https://i0.wp.com/i.gyazo.com/a1618122159f5b5590db1cec608f5667.png
“This is over! Let’s end this… Genesis Dragon!”

The flames surrounding Kasumi erupted upwards immediately, acting on her command as they began to quickly take shape around and above her; filling up the room and burning around she and Irasho and Keikai as they formed into talons, wings, muscular legs, a massive maw which eventually let out a guttural roar as it rose one paw and slammed it down with earth shaking force. The Genesis Dragon was a technique in which Kasumi formed a massive, sentient Dragon out of her flames, and then could command it to fight for her; however, the being was so large and powerful that it wouldn’t last long, and that is why Kasumi didn’t waste time in pointing her palm at Keikai, calling to the Dragon.

https://i0.wp.com/i.gyazo.com/caed42e9e67f117419890c7171d46009.png
“Leave nothing left, devour him and reduce it all to ashes!”

The massive dragon lumbered forwards, and being far larger than Keikai it towered over him before actually dropping its neck at him, it’s maw opened wide as it aimed to devour him. If this worked, the obvious end was that Keikai would be swallowed whole and reduced to nothing inside of the Dragon’s body before it dissipated itself, with Kasumi’s form ending itself, and herself being reduced to her normal form once more; albeit drained of a massive amount of energy and left stumbling for a moment.

“Is this not the best Chinese new years…evvvvvvvvvver!” Irasho was of course referring to the almighty fire dragon that Kasumi had summoned using her fire magic. It was a sheer stroke of brilliance and sorely showed that Keikai had underestimated the might of the little Kitsune. Right at this moment, Irasho snapped his wind wheel and it vanished with a pop, before he realized that the show was far from over. With all that had been happening, the cell block itself was now collapsing in on itself. Bricks and parts of the ceiling were raining down, and no magic umbrella was going to be able to keep the debris from landing on their heads. When Kasumi bellowed that everything was to be reduced to ashes….she wasn’t kidding.

“Too young to be someone’s morning toast!” He cried, as he took out a big wad of chewing gum and then tossed it into his mouth, chewing. Chewing chewing and then….he started to blow a massive bubble gum bubble that was so large, that Kasumi could fall into it and be within the pink sticky shield.

“Time to bounce!…GET IT!…Bounce away!” Inside the protection of the big balloon of bubble gum, they both bounced their way to the nearest exit as the debris merely dropped on the outer shell of the bubble and…bounced off.

Kasumi gave a couple stumbles as she left the form of Blazing Genesis, not having expected so much energy to be taken from her body like that in such a short amount of time in itself. Kasumi growled as she fell forward into the bubble that Irasho had made, glad the bastard had the decency to think of a way out of this damnable place instead of simply joking around the entire time; despite the fact that she couldn’t move and he had made it out of bubble gum…

Either way, luckily the bubblegum barrier was strong enough to hold off the debris as the duo made their escape, with Kasumi struggling to remain conscious. It was honestly all that she could do, time to see if she could hold it till she was outside of Cell Block 1.

Kingdom of Alteria : Nautical District (2) – Shattered Dimensions.

Many are gathering to join in the quest, but will they be up to the task?

Zetta: Unable to speak, no longer having feet planted to the ground.. Last thing he recalled was his super-speed getting him back home to beat the sunlight.. His direction went disarray upon the sudden combination of Alterus, mixing in with the standard fable that the man had been accustomed to.. While traveling back to his own Manor, he found himself in the middle of foreign land. Near a large boat. They called those ships, though with due to origins he never had any business going out of the country and was blind-sided by all this water that surrounded him. Confused to the utmost, the vampire looked everywhere around him, finding nothing to be clearly visible but blue. One’s four limbs outstretched in panic, for this one felt that he no longer had the freedom to move as he normally did.. Trapped, the man was caught within something. He forced his mouth open, only to draw in volumes of water in an instant. Now he was gargling, rapidly running out of air, if he did not act to escape this he would die in this viridian Hell…

No! The vampire would reclaim his pride and reach the surface to survive, even if he had to claw his way up.. The claw on his hand weighing him down evermore, but not withholding his super strength from continuing to swim upwards. Although this was only a first experience for him, he would overcome it with his damned ambition! In such efforts, momentum seemed to be on his side, despite gravity formerly pushing him back. He zoomed to a peak of the aquatic surrounding until sunlight flashed upon him through the depths.. He would die when it touched him, since he had yet to refuel the gauntlet of midnight black. There was little hope here, but that could not stop him, the feeling of suffocation was terrifying to say the least. Facing death, he charged ahead even stronger, with reduced effort for some reason too. The effort input bared results, Delecaux finally ascending the watery graveyard. He sighed lightly, glad to have overcome the challenge, and bowed his head towards the light cast above him. But instead of instant-death though, he felt an extreme pain on his shoulders and then his entire upper-body burned. Unbearable, from one pain onto another.

Again, putting his body to work, his eyes scanned for a place to duck under to be covered from shade. It was here that he realized something peculiar.. He was standing, not floating in water, but firmly stood atop the substance. This was inconceivable, what had the water done to him?.. Unbeknownst to James was that he had acquired a multitude of abilities, being strengthened by the combination of all universe’ vampiric essences. It would come later on to his knowledge, for now he knew he needed to find his assistant, if the being even lived still in this plane. So he ignored this conundrum entirely to focus on stability. One thing that was obvious was that he wasn’t home.. But he was still burning, with this new-found power to control his every movement, he locked onto the ship, rapid-flight propelling him to the back of the large structure.. The man would be comfortable as a stowaway for now, in order to survive. He was still awed that he had escaped death twice already, having not a clue as to where he would be headed now either. With one deep breath, he counted down all of the scents he gathered on his way to the back of the ship. In time he would make it to the deck for a formal introduction with someone.. Anyone, who maybe able to give him some better direction.

Hibu:  The sky was mostly clear, with a feeble temperate breeze circulated throughout the district. A mild gale that would’ve kissed one’s complexion was surely to give a satisfied feeling. The feeble clement wind weaved though and around various bushes and trees, causing a soothing rustling sound come from the depths of the shadows. Fluffy, gray, cotton candy appearing clouds cast freely here and there over the district’s surface. A plethora of items displayed at each store, which were sure to satisfy you. The flaming red star, which was imprisoned in the sky, and died every night to let the moon live, ray’s shown brightly the throughout the district. The citizen appeared happy and little disagreed with the Kings and queens plans. Throngs of people migrated in a rush towards the dock, for they knew soon the ship would be leaving. In this throng was juvenile figure with black cloak that covered her body. Grayish platinum hair, two twig like horns sticking out appearing unique, and a tail that swayed back and forth armored with scales. thus, one could clarify she was Drakon. They’re said to be mythological creatures, hunted for years and forced to alter their appearance into humans. the female was hiding her wings as she didn’t want judgmental eyes peering at her, it wad like they were mentally poking her soul.

“This is taking to long!”

the petite figured yelled with feeling very inpatient. she needed room, the fact of being crowded with no personal space displeased her. thus, she drifted from the migrating mobs of citizen. in a corner it seemed she was alone, but something was just unsettling. there was a murderous feeling was within the air. the stained blood metallic odor long within the air causing a disgusted expression to surface. she sighed not even tempted to look into the incident that had happen.extending her right arm to her left shoulder, Matsu could firmly angle her finger adjusting it to the cloth. in a blink of an eye the cloak was thrown off of her revealing her body built and her yellow intimidating eyes. She was wearing a dark turquoise sweater, denim shorts, with raspberry dyed hightighs, and a pair of combat boots. Thus, with no one supposedly watching and free space, Matsu would manifest her dragon-like wings. Matsu angled her legs to certain degree catapulting herself within the air. within those few seconds, Matsu would flap her dragon-like wings. The airborne female’s ruby lips formed into rather pleased smile. As she was flying into the air, Matsu’s body was now horizontally now. The air blowing upon her face satisfied her as she headed towards the dock. Every so often her wings would flap to maintain altitude. But soon she’d arrive at her destination, the ship. Now with her body “standing” vertically within the air. Altohugh she was within the air the female descended because of the lack of her not keeping altitude with her wings. But she’d had with on foot on the planks of wood. Some looked amazed others weren’t impressed and she’d agreed, but not many darkens exist.

“That was a lot more refreshing than walking”

the female looked to the male with blue hair. Shuzen was his name, he was quite popular amongst the district, but something about him didn’t seems right. He was watching every individual who had entered the boat. Her yellow eyes peered at him cautiously, it seemed he was memorizing every detail of each being. this didn’t seem the bother her.

“Hello Mr. Shuzen it is an honor to meet you”

the female bowed to show her respect, although her race use to be an intimidating one, Matsu didn’t like to bow to ones she found suspicious. Usually she wouldn’t stick her nose wear it’s wanted, but this seemed to be a special case.

Devon was glad that Eru had come with him, his emerald eyes showed it; but now he was curious about her reasoning? What reason did she have to come with him? Was she trying to pay back some sort of debt? If she was then that was pointless, he hadn’t done anything for her to feel indebted to him about. Was it some other emotion that he’d somehow elicited from the female? Curiosity? Interest? Anger? Something that had made her come? He really couldn’t tell with Eru, it was confusing for him. He had always been naturally good at telling the fluctuation in people’s emotions, just a natural instinct that kicked in for him around others despite his social awkwardness, but with her it was like he was reading a stone wall sometimes, aside from her bouts of anger anyway. Perhaps this enigma would solve itself as time went, he certainly hoped that it would, he didn’t want to make her his enemy. Devon was silently walking, moving slowly with every step so that Eru wouldn’t fall behind, he knew that wouldn’t help anything either. It didn’t take him very long to get to the docks, and as he walked up he gave a small nod in acknowledgement to Shuzen, but didn’t speak. It’s how he was after all. Sure he looked weak, but he had the persona of someone who could do more than anticipated.

Kasumi had to admit, Grant was an interesting one at this point. Sure, she didn’t notice that her own brother had followed her onto the ship, but she was too busy following him and trying to keep an eye on the guy so he didn’t get into trouble. God, it reminded her of the relationship between George and Lennie in Of Mice and Men; the guy was annoying at times, but he grew on you at the same time. Currently though, she was busy trying to keep him out of the beer so he wouldn’t be drunk when they got to the island.

“Grant!! Stay out of the beer! If you start drinking I’ll need a drink, and neither of us will like that!”

Kasumi was going to say more, but she was bumped into by a male with a crimson jacket, white pants with a strange style in mind, but she didn’t pay it much mind as she spoke apologetically, or she would have if he hadn’t beaten her to it. The most prominent thing in his apparel? The red watch around his wrist, seemingly over-sized unless one knew what it had been for.

???: “Oh sorry about that, my fault there. Heheh.”

After having apologized, he was quick to walk away, leaving Kasumi to look at him with a bewildered gaze on her face. But she soon shook her head as yet another male with bright scarlet hair with a scar on his face walked past with a face that looked like it was full of thought, but still had a smile on his face despite that.

She took noticed of him and rose an eyebrow, recognizing him for a split second as the one who had come in through a teleportation circle with a crimson rose insignia. Kasumi didn’t think much of it though, she went right back to Grant immediately.

All his life, Grant had wanted to go on a ship holiday. Oh those tv infomercial shows that said all the fun, joy, sex, dancing and of course beer you could want on a floating fun ship was just what Grant needed after that trip to the dungeon. This was going to be great. Hell to the fact that they were going over as a fighting force, he’d totally forgotten about that when told about the beer and refreshments. Grant was so fast up that gangplank that you would think his ass was on fire.

Was he about to become the ship yobbo, or bogan? He pulled out a funny hat that he had picked up at one of the comic conventions. It was one that had two beer cans on the top with straws for drinking through. It meant that he had his hands free for the food! Grant wasn’t dumb. He knew that this sort of caper would be approved of. Hell, the politician fancy pants had said to enjoy himself……and enjoy himself he would.

If Kasumi thought that Grant was annoying before, she was about to see this unique and rather special side of him. He may not be wearing the mask now, but damn….he had the spirit to know what a good time was. He even pulled out a packet of condoms and showed them to Kasumi.

“LOOK! I brought protection….GET IT?! Protection…Ah ha ha.”

A few girls in tight camo tops walked by and Grant let off a huge wolf whistle.

“Hello Ladies! I’m Grant, I’m a Leo and I like comics, anime and tight bike pants. Fancy sharing a beer?”

Where did this sudden confident streak come from? He had read one to many cruise ship flyers. He honestly thought anyone could get laid on a ship like this. Even a nerd like Grant.

“Wanna suck my mint? Ah ha ha.”

There was no longer any time to wait, the bridge to the ship was finally being pulled by a couple men who worked under Shuzen as he himself began to walk to the middle of the deck with a glass of champagne in his hand and a microphone in the other , smiling and nodding his head to the newest female who had boarded and allowing her to be one of the last few on board. –

Ship Center Deck – Announcement

” Well how pleased I am to see such valor in the hearts of all these people standing before me today. I say , everyone please raise your cups and give yourself a good shot ; you’ve truly earned it for coming all this way to stand up for your nation. As you may now the ship is getting ready to head off towards the island at this time , you are free to say goodbye to your loved ones , or maybe till you see them next. I would give you all the advice of sticking together so your chances of death aren’t likely , but of course your fate brought you here ; and I hope fate has more then just a swift end for you in store . So let us rejoice as we head off ! Cheers and allow our combined efforts to be the victorious side ! ”

– The ship emitted a loud noise as the horn was blown and it was time for the entire ship to have begun moving . The ship followed the sea’s currents ever so persistently ; gently rocking forward and then back as it slowly set off towards the sinking ”Sun” that was artificially made . The blanket of darkness would slowly coat the sky and give them all the sensation that things will soon get real . Were they up for it ? Only their future encounters will dictate and define who they are as people. Will these beings be able to size up to the Demons in Hellgate …. ? The ship continued onwards, further and further from their safe haven ; Alteria would soon fade and the Prison would come into view.-

Red barely muttered a dry hi towards Shuzen, given that he was way too aware about where they were going, what was happening there, and the fact that he grew suspicious of any politician who did anything that helped others he decided to not pay him attention or even give him more seconds than required of his time. He said hi, he moved on into the ship…and he decided to take a look back at the people that was climbing in. Grimacing as he looked at all of them…this was the “fighting force” headed to help during the riot?…

Stuck in some party boat with people who look as green as my mother’s food…just great…

Red had a really bad feeling about this, but most of it had no comparison with the disgust he felt at the pit of his stomach. They were on a party boat, they were basicly throwing some sort of party here with beer and such while people was actually dieing on the field trying to hold the prison, and to top it off everyone seemed so relaxed that it got Red on his nerves, clearly causing his fur to raise as the inner guardian within him asked himself if most people outside of his home behaved like this in the face of danger. This was meant to be a serious mission but a part of him felt that this whole thing was being taken like a joke…

Just relax…go grab a bite…practice a little…relax…

He got into the buffet area, searching for some food to relax his stomach as he went straight for the meat…something that caused many people to just give him curious looks, given that they were watching a carnivore in the fur of a humanoid rabbit, and for a moment things remained well…he even managed to feel some interesting powers around. But his relaxation was cut short by a certain male who he had his back turned to. His ears twitched as he turned around and watching as he pulled out those condoms and then began telling his jokes and going after the ladies

You have to be kidding me…

Red’s fur seemed to turn into needles as he just glared with his crimson orbs towards this male. Here they were, about to go into a mission that might take the lives of half of the people on this boat and this guy suddenly felt like drinks and some quick sex with the ladies on the boat might be a good idea. Anybody would have laughed…maybe sighed or look away…Red felt clearly offended, showed he was clearly offended by this behavior…it was ridiculous, wasn’t this a mission of sorts? Didn’t this people had any sort of discipline. He just shot his arms into the air, clearly annoyed as he just growled under his breath

I’m surrounded by idiots!

He spoke loud enough to be heard, receiving some nasty looks from some people that he just returned with such hostility that some people looked visibly shaken. He had a long day, a longer night, and he had to put up with too much on a daily basis and now this, the bunny was way too grumpy so he retreated towards a place where he would be free from both this people and his own annoyance. He was going outside to shadow box until they arrived, or else he was sure that he was going to punch someone so hard they would crash into the after line at mach 8

The ones causing trouble at Hellgate better be good…because I’m really itching to turn something into red pudding by now

Floor Host: “Enjoy your drinks my friends, things will get risky for everyone when we arrive, so have fun; today’s drink may just be your last. We can never know what fate has in store for us, however we can always live without regrets. Cheers, to all of you, for doing this for your country, families, and nation~!”

The male had spoken only with the purpose of warning the men and women who had decided to go on this voyage that the path ahead would be difficult and would warrant possible death. How they took it was their choice, however he meant well and the smile on his face proved it.

Kasumi had been listening to everyone and everything while she was dealing with Grant, but the last straw came with his joke with the condom AND the girls. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh he’d done it now. Kasumi froze, her form slowly hunching as she tensed up every muscle in her back and shoulders in anger. The Kitsune was not happy at all with that, the only thing that would’ve been obvious to Grant was the ominous tone in her voice as she spoke to him quietly.

“Grant….. do you know what I did with Hirai Hime so I can shove it down your throat?!”

Kasumi was just about to lunge at Grant then too, till she heard a voice mention idiots. There was one problem with his voice that ticked her off to a point that made her Jaki leak out for anyone with an ability to see spiritually connected abilities to see. The humans with weaker wills around Kasumi, oh they began to act crazier too then as well, which is the biggest effect of the Jaki of Yokai. But right now, the fiery wind-like aura that shifted around her form was enough to tell she was now agitated and hiding her strength was out the window, it was easy to see in her now, and it was overbearing for those who didn’t have the physical ability nor spiritual ability to match the five-tail Kitsune; who was already abnormally powerful. She wasn’t even exerting her Fire Fear though, which is what made her so curious.

“OI! I’m no fool, unlike this dumbass fucker I call my companion!”

Kasumi wasn’t happy, but she wasn’t looking to fight…. yet.

Kingdom of Alteria : Nautical District  (Anime Adventure Quest)

https://i0.wp.com/i60.tinypic.com/2rgp548.jpg
The land closest to the sea and the area in which the sea trading is most frequent. When people come to this land they could practically smell the ocean. The land here is actually hovering over the ocean unlike the rest of the land. The section here is mainly decorated with sky blue themes and the largest most prominent building here is owned by the Leader of Sea trade and nicknamed God of the Sea . Be careful in approaching the building ,the company may not be forgiving.

Matt:

Akio was slipping through the streets of the Nautical district, his crimson eyes flowing over the buildings, people, and animals in the area. His black kimono swept under and behind him as he moved. There were slight shuffles with every movement, but other than that he was completely silent. His ears were clearly visible, but his tails were somewhat tucked under his kimono. Most of the fur that could be seen on his tails were black, but the tips had a white wisps to them. The hair on his head, and ears was black as well. The only other color to him for real was the deep crimson lining that flowed over his garb, as well as the red in his eyes. In his mind he had a certain trail of thought as to where he was going. To most it wouldn’t make any sense, but he knew.

“I’ll see if she is there. If not then i will look elsewhere.”

His thoughts flowed from his thin lips, but they were little more than a whisper. Not so for people around him to remain oblivious to his words, but simply for this is how he spoke most times. His voice was a calming one, despite his very short fuse that hid itself behind his pillowed words. In mere moments he could go from being soft, calm, and respectful to the most fouled mouth, violent, and rude person one might come across. It was a strange combination indeed.

Akio had been staying within the nautical district for a few days now, only recently having come to the city from his journey that held so many dark secrets, and memories. What had brought him out now was of a rumor of a furry convention, but when he arrived it turned out that the people that he had gotten the information from was unreliable when it came to accuracy. Despite this Akio had found a favorite place to stay while here. This was where he was headed now.

The kitsune had been walking for a good thirty minutes before he arrived at a small patch of tall bushes. Near the base was a small gap between the adjacent roots. It was just big enough for a small child, but there was noway he could have fit through there. This thought made a small, almost invisible smirk to slid over his lips. Once the streets had cleared of people Akio check his surroundings. There was no one around, or near as far as he could tell. With a gleam in his eyes his body was wrapped in a small bout of a deep sapphire colored flame. It completely enveloped him, but was gone as quick as it had come.

The fires had seemed to take the male with them, leaving a small, black, six-tailed fox in his wake. Its eyes were burning red, his ears were perked up, and his tails were whipping about him. Under its eyes, and scoring its back were odd archaic symbols that showed themselves in a deep crimson along the foxes fur. This was Akio’s favorite form to take. It let him move around with ease, and find nice high places to sleep when he felt the need. For now though he was using it to tuck himself between the bushes. When he came out upon the other side there was a small tunnel of stone. It seemed to lead through a building, and had been meant to be found by children. Sort of a secret hide away. Akio quickly followed the path, his lithe body flowing around the turns, and turning with the passage like poetry.

Within minutes Akio found himself in a small clearing with small trees lining the edge of the clearing. They were each bending inwards, casting a cover over the small hollow. A small child may have been able to squat while in here, but if he returned to a humanoid form he would ruin the place. In the dead center of the hollow was a small stone that held a mirror on it. The light that was able to get through the branches and the leaves was reflected off the mirror, and cast all around to lighten the hiding area up for a certain number of hours a day. Akio looked up with his keen fox eyes, and saw people passing by what would seem like a bush to them. They were ignorant, stubborn, an had no idea the wonders one might find in the small joys in their lives.

It was then that a screen, sitting above a platform that led to the docks, had changed from its regular setting to a broadcast. The queen apparently had words of wisdom to speak to the lessers, or that was how he saw it at least. That was until he heard her message of the prison, and the prisoners. Most would be gasping, screaming, or passing out from fright, but Akio was smiling. Some may say animals cannot smile, but the small form of a fox he held was clearly beaming with a grin.

“This is perfect. She might be there. My sister. Kasumi.”

His thoughts ran through his head quickly, and then his body followed suit. He left the small hollow from the way he had came, and returned to the streets before anyone could tell what had happened. He then slipped into an ally, and shifted once more, returning to the look he had before. This time there was a large pitch black Nodachi blade hanging from the back of his kimono. The blade was light, and so put little to no weight on his clothes. This was the blade known as Korui Akuma.

Now that he was back in a human form he began making his way towards the docks, ready to find his sister. True he disliked her, but there was some unfinished business they had together. He hoped that she would show up to help these people so he may confront her. It could end up very interesting.

The Docks

– The Ship was docked just outside of the Nautical district ; located at the docks which of course meant that it was awaiting travelers to board. The ship had a embedded insignia of a Trident , the symbol of Atlantis Co. and it meant the company was showcasing their ships to be used for the voyage to Hellgate Prison. They were going to assist the people who were willing and brave , all as a ploy to get approval by the people. The time was coming near, and it was almost time to board the ship to move onwards to the Island . Was everyone ready ? It would seem that it wasn’t so as the ship wasn’t entirely full with people . It would wait awhile longer before it was ready to depart . Shuzen himself stayed near the entrance of the ship welcoming people on , dressed extremely casual as if to assimilate with the other passengers. –

https://i2.wp.com/i61.tinypic.com/ejvbxx.jpg

Shuzen :” Please make yourself comfortable , Enjoy your voyage. Hello ; welcome . There is beer and nourishment’s in the kitchen , feel free to go and take what you’d like . Remember to vote Shuzen as Nautical District’s Regional Mayor. ”

– Shuzen didn’t leave his post , he wanted to see all of the passengers who had came with his own eyes ; but did he have a real reason beyond political gain ? From a certain standpoint it would seem as if he was evaluating the members , seeing if they would survive or not . He kept spotting weak people , minus a man adorned in a white mechanical suit which had seemed to pique his interest so far. –

– Hio snuck on board , knowing there was no other ships going to the Island ; he had no other choice but to get on the way he had and stay out of sight hiding behind several crates . He stayed quiet and awaited for the ship to begin it’s voyage. Hio didn’t seem very happy either , his face displayed a annoyed expression as he could even sense the amount of noise coming from upstairs.-

Hio:” When will this ship take off ….”

Kasumi was smiling as she walked down the street, despite her only real reason for being in this place was the broadcast which had explained there was a massive prison riot occurring now; this disturbed her but she didn’t show it, she simply kept her upbeat attitude, practically skipping down the street as she thought with a small hum in her voice.

Kasumi had been in the furry convention, on its last day no less, with Grant at the time when it had come on; she had grown darker as she listened, not only because of the broadcast itself but also because of the fact it brought up bad memories. Probably worried Grant half to death, but of course she had dragged him along with her, only giving him the explanation that she had to go and even if he didn’t go she would alone. She knew what could happen if they got out, they could do things just as bad as if not worse than her own brother had done. She knew that, that’s why she had to go.

After a bit of running, Kasumi had let go of Grant’s hand, and she was hoping that the man was still with her. It’d be reckless to go in alone, but she knew that even then she had a duty to do this. There was a chance her brother was in there and if he was…… she didn’t want to think about that but… she would be the one to put him down if it was the case. She wasn’t worried about the fact he was technically stronger than her because of the difference in tails, that meant nothing to him.

Kasumi finally looked behind her after a couple minutes, smiling brightly behind her as she called out to Grant, but little did she know there was someone so close who could recognize the voice she released. After all… he had once gotten the same voice…

“Grant, you still there or did I leave you way behind!?”

Kingdom of Alteria : Nautical District

“Yeah!” Grant sung out as he finally caught her up, practically out of breath. It was quite some day and with what Kasumi had planned, Grant was not going to miss this for the world. It had been at the final day of the furry convention that they learnt about the prison riot. All eyes glued to a massive wall of television screens that showed what had been happening. News reporters in special bullet proof vests, and with the words ‘PRESS” emblazoned on them spoke with a heightened sense of danger to alert all on Alterus of what was happening. Grant was a little worried about what it meant for them to get involved, but with his new found powers thanks to the Mask, it would be a great way to test it out. Sure, he had scared his apartment manager, Mrs Abecrombe half to death one night, when he came home to get his things, only to decide to put the mask on to play a prank. Needless to say his wild comic actions and the graffiti he wrote on the apartment building walls, had many in the building talking. He had written “Mrs Abecrombe has blue waffles” about two thousand times in various sizes and script type. It was going to take a month of sundays to get that all scrubbed off the walls.

But here on this day Kasumi and Grant had come down to get on the ship that would take them over to the prison. “Can I help it if you are like….super fast in those shoes?” Grant pointed down at the girl’s footwear and then beamed a smile at her. “I did manage to catch you up though. So where is this ship?’ Grant put his hand up like a visor, scouting to see which vessel they were meant to get on.

Dressed in jeans, a polo and carrying his trusty back pack, Grant looked more like a backpacker than a member of a fighting force. His hair was a lot better kept though and thankfully he had showered that morning. Taking out a packet of menthos, he took one out and popped it into his mouth. He then offered the packet to Kasumi with a shake of his wrist.

Hibu:

The room was silent; in fact it was pitch black. Shadows creaked along the walls with mischievous smirks. On the dark oak wood nightstand, a candle ignited displaying the only light source within the room. The room wasn’t abandoned for a feeble structure with kinky snow white hair was chained to the bed. Shackles were placed around her wrist, Scars ran along her skin leaving remembrance of miserable beatings. This would be the first in months she was getting a chance to sleep, but it wasn’t making much of a difference. The nightmares were becoming more violent with every sleep.
The female babbled her eyelashes with her vision weary with only darkness filling her pupils. Ordinarily this would confuse and freak one who happened to wake up in darkened abandoned room, but this was ordinary for her. The tight feeling of shackles being placed around her wrist of both left and right hand didn’t seemed to bother her. A bandage wrapped around her left eye due to punishment that happened in the past. It was frequent to have beating for she was slave, supposedly lower than livestock. This didn’t bother to be called such. Kasumi knew she was too afraid to do anything, she could have escape, but every time the thought came into her mind her body becomes paralyzed. Why? By many people Kasumi was said to have invisible chains set by Shuzen. He had applied so much fear into her, Kasumi was mentally was too afraid to even go against his wishes. When given the chance to escape, Kasumi can’t help, but too stay. Being token away by her parents at such a young age then being stripped in front of a plethora amount of dirty old man, made the female remember that little girl wail out in misery to her parents even though she knew they weren’t going to be saving her. “I wonder when master will be back” her voice was pathetic and soft as she spoken. The female attempted to stand, but the collar around her neck, which was chained to bedpost, which prevented her to stand a full length. Thus, the female sat herself back in her previous position. She was alone with nothing to do, her body was feeble and weary not strong enough to break neither the chains nor the shackles. Is this her life? Being chained to bedpost hardly feed, or even cared for? Her mother once told her that, “Everyone has meaning in this world even its small or big” she believed those words, but soon they faded from her faith. Where the watching? Looking down on their child from the “heavens” or were they looking at their daughter in disgrace. Did they care anymore? Probably not, the high elves were such an intelligent race; to be enslaved was disgraceful. She sighed with depression, moist droplets streamed down her numb red cheeks only to hit the floor. She didn’t want to live this life, but she lacked the courage to do anything about it. Every time her eyelid closed the picture of his unmerciful eyes came into mind, which would prevent her from sleeping for the rest of the night

“Good, and these shoes aren’t the reason I’m so fast buddy boy. Natural physical trait, me and my bro-…… never mind.”

Kasumi cut off in the middle of her sentence, possible for the fiftieth time over the past week of peace since the dungeon. It seemed, more and more lately too because of the fact Grant had been dealing with it all week since she started hanging around him. She never spoke of him without cutting off the sentence just for the very reason it was forbidden, not even counting how much pain it brought back. She hadn’t seen him for years and she knew very well why… she couldn’t forget after what had happened, especially with the damage she’d done herself in a fit of Feral Rage.

Kasumi shook her head and gave a small smile, reminiscing her father for a moment, as those thoughts typically brought on thoughts of him. According to what he’d told her, he had changed a lot in the years before she was born, he’d told her that he’d made mistakes that had torn his own life apart with his brother and father. Life could throw things at you that could bring you to your knees, but one thing he always made sure she remembered was that true strength is shown through the heart, the willingness to continue fighting even though you get hit, to defend those you care for no matter how much it hurts. It’s not about how hard you can hit, it’s about how hard you can GET HIT and KEEP on trying. That’s the lesson he always taught her and she’d taken it to heart the day she unleashed her Flaming Persona.

Kasumi blinked as she heard Grant’s voice again and looked at him with a rose eyebrow, her crimson eyes landing on the Mentos packet that was in his hands; letting out a small chuckle she nodded, reaching out and taking the packet, popping one into her mouth before handing it back to him. It wasn’t like she needed it, she just liked the taste of it, and considering her tongue was more sensitive than his, she enjoyed it a lot however long it lasted. Well… that isn’t entirely accurate, one’s sense of smell is ninety percent of their sense of taste, so really the reason she tasted it more is because her nose was far stronger. Ah oh well. Kasumi spoke quietly as she pushed her power down, making it harder to tell that she was a lot stronger than many of the occupants of the boat now getting on.

“Thanks, come on, let’s get on the boat before it leaves. I have a bad feeling about this and… well, it’s better that people other humans are on board with this, no telling what we’ll encounter. I’m already having to suppress my power by a lot, never telling where an enemy may come from. I want then to underestimate me in the case that I have to fight on board as well as at the prison. Off chance of that happening, but still.”

Kasumi was serious, and finished talking several minutes before she even managed to get to Shuzen, but even so she gave him a cautious gaze, but a smile full of sass while she passed. She wasn’t senseless, she knew the look of someone analyzing others when she saw it… it was a look she’d seen before. She replied to Shuzen with a arrogant grin and cheeky tone in her voice, but one that held an underlying understanding. The only thing she could have done to give away she wasn’t as weak as many of the people getting on the boat.

“Hmm, sure thing~ If you make it worth it, Shuzen-san.~”

Kingdom of Alteria : Nautical District

To share a small mint with friends is like something out of a TV commercial. It always has a way of bringing a smile to a weary face. Grant had a sweet tooth, just one of many things that Kasumi was yet to learn about our latest adventure hero. Though at the moment, he was acting more like a tourist than anything else. Dressed for comfort rather than style – cause really he was never was much of a fan of fashion, Grant looked so easy going. He’d had an interesting time since he had finished his first ever quest, but one thing he did notice in the time that he spent with the talkative kitsune, was that she never finished her sentences. Odd really. Like she was always leaving out the best part of the story for reasons that only made sense to her.

Grant just followed her anyways. He didn’t question her reasoning, nor try to pick apart what she had said – just taking it at face value.

They were now facing the vessel that was to take them across the waters to the Prison. Staring up at it, Grant let out a small whistle, but showed no fear at all. Not even when Kasumi expressed her feelings on it and they weren’t good ones. She complained that she was having to already suppress her powers a great deal at the present times, and with the boat being filled with nearly all humans, it was going to be a feat in itself to continue to keep her defenses up. One point she raised, was that the enemy could be anywhere, even on board the ship and she needed people to think that she was harmless. Underestimating her strength.

Talk about a good plan. By the looks of Grant, the only thing he would be hitting would be the ship’s on board menu.

Following Kasumi up the docked ship’s gang plank, he waved cheerfully at Shuzen.

Watch that late night movie they said…nothing bad will happened they say…idiot, idiots all of them!

The crimson eyed rabbit cursed inside his mind as using his C-Gear he began speeding across the streets of the Nautical District. Today a ship was leaving to a destination that basicly no one with an inch of sanity or common sense would come close to, unless they had some sort of sense of heroism or business there…and of course this bunny just needed to have both! He hated that, that sence that he had to do the right thing…it ruined his business, it ruined his day…and of course he had to be the only living fool to take a job to deliver a package there. Any sane and insane courier for that matter gave this job the finger, low pay, high danger…but no…he had to take it because they gave him puppy eyes and he would be going anyways

Gaia be damned Bolt…go faster!

Right now he was breaking every speeding limit in the whole district if not the whole planet while he was draining his C-Gear dry to just reach the docks that finally were at sight. At first the bunny was relieved, he had crossed half of the city at top speed basically almost crashing into every vehicle moving slower than 300 kilometres per hour, wich was most of them anyways if not all, and finally he was there. He was relieved to say the least…except for a simple trouble…he was heading for a crowd of people at more than 300 kilometres per hour with near to no space to use the breaks…curse this day…

Son of a…out of the way you fleabags!

Red yelled at the top of his lungs towards the people in his way as he basically pressed the breaks with all his might, trying to stop his Bolt and maneuver it so he wouldn’t end up running anyone over. And as expected he ended up with his face on the ground basically scratching all over the ground while the Gear was above him. Red basically cursed, in every language known to man, elf and Rabbit as he digged his fingers into the ground, leaving deep marks on it as finally he somehow ended up stopping before running over Mr. Shunzu. And he remained there for a few moments, as the C-Gear shifted into a board form and Red slowly got up from the ground

Stupid…ground…

Amazingly enough Red was actually intact, not even fur lost as he just survived what would have made him lose a hand and maybe break all his bones. Granted that right now his fur was a mess, everything hurt and he used some of his aura in the inside of his body to make sure everything remained on place…but still, if anyone had doubts about a Rabbit resistance right now they were silenced. Not to say the same about Red, whose blush was not so well hidden as he noticed the embarrassing entrance he made and the few eyes set on him

What?…never saw anyone having an accident?

Hostile as ever the bunny just began dusting himself off as he fixed his crimson colored vest and began to work on his pure white fur that not seemed to stand up in all angles. Hard to imagine that something as soft as him could actually be in such a bad mood and ready enough to punch someone into another galaxy if they brought up this incident on the way to Hellgate. Seriously thought, in what other way could thing be wrost than this? He believed he embarrassed himself in front of a crowd not to mention the fact that maybe he damaged his C-Gear in the process

At least it can’t get worse than this…

” Just put in your vote in the ship’s voting room , and the beer and chips are currently on the deck at this moment . We want to have the best things out in the open for others. And thank you for the compliment , it is quite appreciated ~ ”

– Being around a person like Shuzen was sure to have felt quite different then other people due to the fame he had . It wasn’t like he was the King or Queen but it was similar to meeting someone you’d rarely meet and it was altogether a special experience in it’s own right. His smile was big and his eyes slanted as he made a slightly appeased face to the responses he was given. He spoke to Grant and Kasumi simultaneously as they had approached as expected , he wouldn’t ignore the people entering the boat . Not long after they moved onto the ship a Bunny-humanoid being had appeared before him and the Blue Haired male stared curiously at him as he moved extremely fast. This person was peculiar in varying ways , but it was clear why he was here . He was heading to Hellgate too and Shuzen wouldn’t deny him passage , he was more then welcome to join the current people ready to embark. –

Keikai vs Kasumi

https://i1.wp.com/i59.tinypic.com/wwmb20.jpg

– Keikai would find that his attack wasn’t as effective as he wanted it to be but still achieved the results he had wanted. Following the attack the female released a heat wave followed by a shift in her appearance and structure around , she now held various floating apparitions around her and he would intercept the one that had came at him as she yelled out a technique . Keikai cloaked his arms and shot both of them forward as if he was firing a beam , and out came a large stream of dark miasma in which he replied-

” Hazy Stream ! ”

– The stream grew in size and spiralled as it had grown so dense as to envelop the dense flames ; however it would not destroy the flame it did however slow it down and ” cloud ” it’s purpose , making it easy to move out of . If it wasn’t as dense as it was, it would’ve been consumed altogether by the fog , Keikai took that moment to leap high into the sky and come crashing down towards the Fox with a descending kick imbued with the foggy enhancement once more . He didn’t seem like he was letting up , nor was he planning on doing so anytime soon. The female he was fighting was more resistant then he has soon so far. If the attack landed it would flood the main ground with a thick fog . If it had missed the fog would’ve rose around his feet and spiral upwards like a dense wall encasing him in this element. Regardless of how things were progressing , it was clear this battle was far from over.-

– Celtan was confused at the sudden bravado that was shown , the male didn’t seem like this earlier ; but it had surprised him to say the least. This new side had gotten to him and caused him to lose his coffee and the orb in which he held , did they hold much importance to him ? Not really , however upon those attacks coming as rapidly as they did they sliced the cup and carved into the orb . How was Celtan to respond ? He leaped off his seating in a rushed motion ; causing the air around his position to explode and have him land a couple meters behind without realizing what he had done . He stood on the other edge of the top of the temple.-

” You owe me 1.75 for that decaf . ”

– Celtan then realized that at this moment he was further away then Grant was from the pedestal at the top of the pyramid. Celtan’s face grew quite annoyed at the action he had taken before glaring at the male with his menacing eyes . Most people would be automatically terrified by being near a Terakian but it’s apparent that some people are exceptions to the rule . This person had begun to tick him off , and boy Celtan was annoyed at the way he had leaped too far out of bounds. Grant now had a chance at reaching for the item and the Terakian was extremely annoyed at it as well. In a matter of seconds , a dark aura once more grew around him and within his arms a thick dark magic grew and his claws had grown ; lastly but not least a invisible pair of creatures made themselves visible to Grant’s eyes . –

Abyssmal Core Finale Begins

Abyssmal Center Temple

Where on earth did Grant’s sword technique come from? The only swords he had before he met the Queen were fake ones that he used when he dressed up as Deadpool. The way he went into the sword attack, on Celtan was like something out of a Jackie Chan movie. Was it at all possible that watching enough anime and action movies had left an imprint in his mind of how to react in a real fight? So far on this quest he had been lucky…very lucky. But the attack, that was not luck. In fact, he sliced right through the coffee cup and knocked the orb clear from Celtan’s hand. Celtan jumped back in fright. Yes, fright. He hadn’t expected this sort of showdown, not from a klutz like Grant. In his haste, he had leaped to the other side of the temple, leaving Grant now facing the ultimate prize of this quest. The very thing that had called out to him back at the restaurant.

” You owe me 1.75 for that decaf . ”

“Only girls drink that shit.” Grant replied, a slight high pitch in his voice, as he quickly re-sheathed his weapons. He took in the distance that separated them now, and the fact that the mask…was right …there. His eyes flashed up at Celtan before he let out a roar and ran for the mask, going into a dive in the closing seconds and skidding along till his hands caught the mask up in its grasp.

“I got it!” The inside of the mask gleamed at him with a magical like sheen, that was practically luring him to try it on. It was the time, for the final battle….and with the mask on, there would be no stopping him. He brought the mask up to his face and like lightening it locked on, causing Grant to scream and howl in protest as his body rose up off the ground, the man clawing at the mask as it was almost fusing with his soul. It was the perfect fit. A hurricane like whirlwind whipped up and around him, spinning the man like he was Dorothy from Kansas. The screams faded and was replaced by a foul and sinister laugh. What dropped from the hurricane was a being that looked nothing like Grant. The face….oh god the face.

“EHEHEHEHEHEEHEHEHEHEHE!” The laughter was loud, just as loud as the outfit that Grant was now wearing. But he was no longer Grant…..he was..Irasho

https://38.media.tumblr.com/47bdf92657e4ff76356adfbe6fa61456/tumblr_mmm6qyOWpZ1s9eamgo1_500.gif

He pulled at the edges of his own face, and you could see the skeleton in behind. White gleaming teeth and eyes that were not properly in their sockets. The mask didn’t just affect his face, it also changed his body, which was becoming almost elastic. He was like a living breathing loony tune. Those blades, that he had been wearing on his back….became ten times there normal size and he withdrew them both with a sickening scraping sound…like fingernails down a black board.

“Makes your toes curl, doesn’t it?” Irasho’s tongue poked out but it was forked like a snake. This was the power of the mask, to make the unbelievable, believable. He twirled the two massive blades over head like he was making his own helicopter.

“You’ve been a great audience but its….time to fly.” Irasho started to take off from the ground in what could best be described as the most ingenious getaway.

“You’re turning into a nuisance.”

Kasumi’s crimson eyes glowed brightly as her hair wove around softly, the force of the Kamaitachi themselves causing a small tailwind as they swirled around her at a rapid rate. For the sake of time, the man’s technique had saved his ass, but it was rather annoying that he’d thought it up. Oh well, Kasumi’s only thought was on the fight itself, staying alert enough to handle him and buy Grant more time. Kasumi pushed with everything she had in both feet, her form blinking between one spot and the next thanks to her speed boost. At that point, Kasumi’s body and the surrounding ground had begun to emit flames which were long and thin, swirling around her with the appearance of a burning stream of wind.

Kasumi didn’t dare to attack that damnable fog that was emitted by the male, too many risks and she was twice as conscious after what had happened to her arm. Instead she waited for the exact moment it dissipated, curling her fingers while forming an orb of condensed flames which emitted small tendrils. That was actually the special attribute of her flames while in Flaming Persona, they acted like wind and dealt their damage by staying in a hyper-density and high-energy form to slash through things instead of simply burning them alone. Kasumi looked up at the male with now blue eyes, dull and blank as her hair slowly shifted to white, including her ears and tails.

https://31.media.tumblr.com/6e7d309987272829c55ea881c4b84f80/tumblr_inline_nbpdws4tXZ1skyq7x.gif
“Enough games I suppose, I’m going to end this now, one way or another.”

Kasumi’s hand began to shake as the flame in her hand grew stronger, the tendrils blazing about in a spiral that moved erratically as though being blown about by a storm that never ended; at the same moment of course, Kasumi’s three Kamaitachi began to spin around her hand quickly, just before she slammed the orb into the ground with every ounce of strength that she had, letting the flame itself explode while the Kamaitachi slammed into it with pure brute force, hiding Kasumi’s entire form from sight in a split second in a swirl of flames and dust.

She actually had two different uses for that little idea, doing what she just finished and using one of her more powerful techniques. Instead this was more of a distracting motion, she had a different idea up her sleeve at the moment. Soon enough, the flames that surrounded her actually began swirling down once more, causing the dust to blow away as it was revealed for her to be standing with her left hand raised, a sword in it as the flames began to condense themselves to it, blazing upwards as though they were trying to escape the confines of some great wall that controlled them and kept them where they were.

“Daisuke Family Art…”

Kasumi brought the sword down, curving the strike as she made a single, extremely fast and strong slash from the right side. The flames bent and twisted, moving like a whip would as she swung at the male, the flames slashing through and tearing down plants and trees and even rocks as it passed through them. Should this have hit the male in the process, the fiery “whip-blade” would have sliced through his body with ease. This was one of her family’s techniques, one that required this form and was actually a revised form of another.

“Plasma Blade!”

[ 2nd Dungeon] : Abyssmal Core

For once it seemed that Grant had not been foolish. Though in reality he was not currently Grant, but Irasho. With the mask on, he had won the quest and staying around to mix it with Celtan was foolhardy. Flying up and away like a type of gyro copter, it would mean the end of not only the temple, but the whole dungeon itself. You could hear the very stones pulling away from each other, then crashing down till they were completely breaking in on themselves. Everything that had been seen faded from view, all behind a grey coloured mist. This formed huge plume like clouds, and as the creature that had been fighting Kasumi fled, Irasho would appear – bursting out of the grey clouds – cackling as he went. It was the most bizarre thing you could ever imagine seeing. The crazy face, that looked nothing at all like Grant.

Down down down he swooped, till he landed with a light bump and the swords slowed to a stop, turning back into their normal size. Kasumi was there, but she didn’t look the same either. All white with strange blue eyes. Wow, she was really pretty, if you liked that sort of thing.

Sliding his swords back into their sheaths, Irasho reached up with a gloved hand and started to pull off the mask carefully. The thing was, his face seemed to be fused to it, and it was turning into a bit of a battle to get off. He struggled and fought with it, till finally it came off in his hand with a loud “POP!”

https://i1.wp.com/media.giphy.com/media/YZhZ8jPwr7HYk/giphy.gif

“That was so COOL!” Grant cried out with some enthusiasm. “I was kung fu fightin’ Yeah!” He danced around a bit, doing some funky moves and tripped over his own feet, landing flat on his face. Instead of bouncing back up, he simply held up the mask in triumph, though his face was in the dirt.

“I got it!”

Yes…yes he had.

Kasumi’s eyes faded back to crimson as she finally stopped using her power crazily. A side effect of using both her full power and Hirai Hime’s white lightning caused her hair and eyes to change to that of her father’s, a snowy white and icy blue. Her hair was slowly fading back to auburn now though, her eyes crimson once more as she let Flaming Persona fade away. Flaming Persona was a technique in which the user set their own resolve ablaze, igniting it and causing their flames to take on a new form and grant the user new powers based on that. It was created by her uncle… and it was the technique which unleashed her full power in its greatest level.

Kasumi slowly was changing back to her one-tail form, but she was breathing heavily and wincing in pain, her left arm gripping her right as tightly as she could, her knuckles turning white from the pressure thanks to the pain coming back redoubled. White Lightning had a nasty side effect on her, that it caused intense pain, though normally it wasn’t this bad; Flaming Persona caused the user to be nullified to pain, however the side effect was that when exited, they experience it all tenfold.

Kasumi looked over to Grant with a small chuckle, her smile returning as she pushed the male out of her mind for the time being. Grant obviously was too excited about the mask to notice they needed to get out of there, so she did it the easy way. Well, it was easy for her anyway. Kasumi grabbed Grant’s hand with her left and began pulling him towards the nearest portal fast as possible without causing him harm and herself anymore pain.

[ 2nd Dungeon] : Abyssmal Core

It was funny how Kasumi still liked to call Grant an idiot, which he was. Without the mask on, he was just that ordinary geeky guy, but with the mask on he was capable of great and crazy feats. It was better than any cosplay outfit and already the young man was planning on using it for the next convention. Its odd how adrenalin affects a guy. He was still so pumped from the adventure, that even after his face hit the dirt he was excited and still vocalizing the joy of his win. The mask was his, and the adventure was over….almost. The dungeon was collapsing and they really needed to get out of there.

“You idiot, we need to get out of here first! Though, I must applaud you for having done so.”

“I applaud me! Hip Hooray!” He cried, as he was dragged along by the feisty Kitsune. Grant stumbled and then got into the run as they raced for the nearest portal, to be free of the dungeon once and for all. “Weeeeee!” His enthusiasm was going into overdrive.

“Here we go!” The pair jumped into the portal, which sizzled and then radiated a large blast of light, before disappearing with a loud pop. Where would they end up?

The Neon district.

End Arc.

[ 2nd Dungeon] : Abyssmal Core (4) – Shattered Dimensions.

The battle now intensifies with the plucky Kitsune and the crazy comic book nerd going head to head with some of Gizora’s most sinister villains.

Kiri:  Kasumi gave possibly the most vicious growl one could expect from her, a growl which was utterly unnerving. She didn’t sound like she could be considered anything remotely human, in fact you might have thought she was a Demonic Kitsune. She wasn’t playing with the Terakian, in fact the Jaki that began to blaze around her looked like it was as sinister if not more sinister than the aura surrounding the Terrakian. And it didn’t disappear when Kasumi slammed her palm against her face at the challenge that Grant put to the male.

With not a word, Kasumi simply reached out and aimed to grab at Grant’s collar. Should she have, she would have picked the boy up like a wolf would its pup, only to throw, yes throw, him straight clear across the pond. A scream from her to follow.

“You go ahead dumbass! He’s obviously not someone who will dance battle you! Now….. you..! You deal with me!”

The last two halves were aimed at the Terrakian, a demonic look in her eyes as her Jaki swirled around her, a bright orange of varying shades. A color that her uncle’s Jaki had been. Kasumi’s appearance changed slightly as her fangs extended and her claws did as well; the fur on her tail bristling as it lashed back and forth, her legs spreading to shoulder length as her weight shifted to the balls of her feet. Ready to fight, to kill if she had to. Hirai Hime was in her right hand as well, and she wasn’t afraid to use that weapon. Nor any of her abilities as a Kitsune. Fire Fear, but also Creation Fear. The Concept of Fear was born between the relationship of humans and Yokai. It’s what a particular person was feared for. Which is why Kasumi was dangerous for a Creation Fear user, as she also had her Fire Fear to account for. But perhaps that wouldn’t be needed.

– Keikai would see that one of the explorers had flown across the pond and beyond the barrier. That had automatically settled in the fact of who could progress. This would also verify the fact that Keikai had failed what he had came for. That moment was followed with a large dark fog slowly covering the area and encasing them both . He was enraged, his sclera turned black and his arms tensed . He was no push over , and he instantly closed the distance between him and Kasumi ; intentionally missing and punching the ground near she had stood ; causing it to quake and split which in turn caused chunks of earth to fly about and hit whatever it had came at . His arm was encased with a dark fog , his eyes glaring at the target whether or not it was hit by the shards . The male wasn’t playing around , nor was he intending on going easy on a woman . –

In her anger at the crazy comic con conventionalist’s bizarre attempts to get the shady character to duel him with a dance off, the kitsune remarkably went and did something that was exactly NOT what Keikai wanted at all. To have the young white and grey haired lad tossed like last week’s garbage across the Abyssmal pond. Grant cartwheeled in the air like a circus performer, his shady glasses slipping from his face and landing with a kersplosh in the waters of the pond. It was only when he flew right over the water, that he came to land with a few bum smacking skids on the other side. He reached the centre of the Maze.

“Ow Ow Ow Ow.” He cried for each time his bum smacked the earth. Dazed and shocked at the strength of the Kitsune, he got up to stand wobbly, and then realized exactly where he was.

“I’m here….I’M HERE!”

He looked back across the pond, but he saw that the pair were now engulfed in some dark mist making it hard for the young man to see. He brought up his hand as a visor and peered across the other side of the pond. “Kasumi!!! Just stay alive till I get back!!!” he yelled loudly, before gathering himself and turning to face the end of the maze. The quest had brought him this far, and now he was on the right path. Looking up at the magnificent temple that went up into the very errie green clouds, he wondered just what would be lurking to test him this time. Just at the very top, Grant could make out what looked to be the prize. Glowing as it sat atop the tower. Spitting on both hands, he started his climb up the all too tall stone stairs.

Kasumi growled deeply at the male, the Jaki that swirled around her looking like a fiery wind in itself, burning as it wove around her with a mind of its own. Jaki were the demonic auras of Yokai, which could cause corruption in humans if it was strong enough to overpower their will. Kasumi knew that, but the Jaki was the signal she wasn’t holding back. And the further changes that occurred soon after showed she knew she wasn’t going to be able to stay in her one-tail form. Instead, her tail itself began to split, forming into five different auburn tails without the splash of white at the end, now waving behind her as she growled at the man in front of her with anger in her blazing crimson eyes.

Grant’s words made her scoff, muttering to herself a simple ‘yeah right’ comment, even going as far as to say that if she died here it’d contradict what her purpose was. Of course, Kasumi was interrupted mid-thought by the man covering the distance between them and slamming his hand into the ground, causing it to erupt in all directions. Kasumi let out a grunt as she pushed off the ground, leaping from one side to the next as she dodged each piece as fast as she could, using her tails, coated in her Yoki of course, to slash apart some that were clumped together and far harder to dodge.

Jamming Hirai Hime, now shrunken back into its Tanto state, back into its sheath, she moved in a blur, difficult to follow till she finally stopped, only to blast forwards at high speed, her form completely blurring to a point that she was nearly invisible at that speed; her right arm was lifted as her claws lashed out, slicing the air just over the male’s head as her left arm came swinging up in a quick uppercut, having used the attack from her claws to try and get him to duck into the strike and send him into the air with a single attack. If it had worked, the male would have been left stunned while flying through the air, while Kasumi would’ve dashed into the air at top speed like her charge and flipped forwards, slamming her foot down onto his stomach to smash him into the ground with enough force to cause the ground to erupt and quake much like he had done only moments before with his punch.

Keikai vs Kasumi

https://i1.wp.com/i59.tinypic.com/wwmb20.jpg

– Keikai quickly blinked closer to Kasumi as she attempted to feint him with her first attack , the Terakian punched the wrist of the Female with his fogged covered right hand ; causing it to point upwards and slightly sever the connection of the palm to the arm through the force which then was followed with his left fist towards the stomach . That hand didn’t hold any of the fog but did release a giant force if it connected which most likely would have had to due to the fact he intercepted the female’s motion while it was acting out therefore making any other reaction harder to accomplish since it would have to take a longer moment plus their distance between one another was too short. The attack that was supposed to hit his chin couldn’t connect due to his actions and therefore the fist that did connect when it had would cover that arm and make it unusable , what did the fog do to her hand ? –

– As Grant continued to climb and grow closer ; the skies seemed to have grown darker with each second that had passed . Was this an effect of him moving ever closer ? A strange feeling would continue to grow and grow as he motioned ever closer but after he was but a few more meters away a large blast of energy would strike and hit the area not too far above from Grant which had caused it to erupt and crack and possibly make the person tumble back down. Another person appeared in the vicinity , however this person sat directly at the top of the ruins with a small coffee cup in his hand and a orb in the other. –

I wonder if you recognize me without the hood . Once more your plans have been for naught, I will be taking the item . I ; Celtan , the Brain of Gizora will be taking this . ”

– What he said must’ve clearly meant that the voices Grant heard was the supposed treasure of this place . Did that also mean specifically only he could’ve acquired this item and no one else ? That may have been the case . This male didn’t seem friendly , and his body was cloaked in a dangerous aura , how would Grant prevail ? Then again with the power of the Item many things are possible , and somehow Grant has had an extremely lucky streak as of late and it seemed as if the Dark Illusionary Beast from earlier may have hinted that those swords of his may have been the key to prevailing . Seeing as to how swords are usually meant for battling , maybe this was its chosen time. But more importantly , it was Grant’s time to shine.-

Objective : Do whatever it is in your power to get past Celtan through whatever means necessary and obtain the Shattered Item !

Higher and higher he climbed with the air thinning of oxygen but being replaced by something else entirely. A darkness – like the very clouds were charged with some deadly force. This was no mere catch and grab like in an Indiana Jones movie. The prize awaited him at the top, but nothing was meant to be this easy. Up till now, Grant had a run of luck that was simply too good to be true. His choices, though sometimes not entirely wise had gotten him this far. He did have the help of the kitsune, who was now battling it out with that nasty chap across the pond, but Grant was about to find himself facing the one that was there at the start of the journey. Minus the cape this time, minus the hood. He was sitting – waiting with a cup of coffee in one hand and an orb in the other. How long had he been here, and how was he able to reach the height of the tower, considering that he couldn’t possibly be human. He called Grant a brave adventurer. Brave? Not totally, more like he had a lot of luck. Making it to the top on the words of the riddler, the words that guided him through. Those words were said to be sung by the very item itself. Calling directly to the one that was destined to claim it. Grant.

“I wonder if you recognize me without the hood.”

“Yes…you were the guy at the beginning.” Grant was not totally stupid.

“Once more your plans have been for naught, I will be taking the item.” He what? After all this, he wanted it? Some bloke called Celtan who was the brain of Gizora. So, was this a demon? A warlock? He didn’t look like anything fancy, just a bloke having coffee on the temple mount. Grant’s chest puffed out as he reached behind him and withdrew his swords, the same ones that had been given to him by the Queen, the same ones he was willing to throw away when in the mouth of the beast. It was his moment. Human, maybe – but the true fighter beneath was about to have his moment.

https://p.gr-assets.com/540x540/fit/hostedimages/1380222758/658446.gif

Swinging both blades like rotors he then twisted his body so that his right arm slashing across the front of his body with the blade whistling through the air, the blade in his left arm was brought back and up. A flick of wrist and his body reversed the slash back in the opposite direction, followed by a downward slash from his left. One to strike the coffee cup right out of his hand, if the right hand slice hit the orb.

Kiri:

Kasumi snarled at the male who blocked her feint, which was annoying at this point now, she could feel that her entire arm was dead on the moment he hit her. Shit. Not good, plus she was off-balance because of him blocking her like that, making it harder to defend against his current attack. At least, that’s how it normally would be. Her eyes were hidden for a moment just before a grin spread over her face in an instant, only moments before several swords, all interlocked with each other, erupted from the ground and slammed between her and the male’s fist just in time. Sure, the attack ripped the weapons apart and sent her sliding back from the force of it, but it still saved her…. barely.

“Close one that… heh. I can’t hold back for this, therefore… Daisuke Family Art: Flaming Persona!”

https://i2.wp.com/img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110802131802/bleach/en/images/a/a6/Ep333YamaotoExplosion.png

Kasumi’s entire body was immediately engulfed by a massive eruption of flames that swirled around her, creating a powerful shockwave as it blazed brighter and hotter than almost anything most people would have felt. That inferno itself quickly dissipated, but left standing was Kasumi with three flames blazing circles around in the form of Kamaitachi. This was her Flaming Persona, which also meant she was a hell of a lot faster. Kasumi’s left hand clapped itself onto her right, bracing herself as she blasted her White Lightning right into her nervous system, causing her cells to go berserk as they began trying to fix her arm. She gave a wince as she released her right arm, but lashed her left arm at the male, sending a flame condensed into a high-energy and density form, causing it to blast after him in a crescent shape.

“Razorflame!”

Much similar to how a technique called Razor Wind worked, Razorflame was a technique in which Kasumi condensed her flame into a hyper-density and high-energy state, firing it at the target. The flame itself, because of its now hyper-density and high-energy form, would have sliced through the male like a knife through butter the moment it touched him. Easily. That was the damage of this technique.

Part three of the Quest into the Abssymal Core.  It is not just an ordinary journey, as the pair have to fight their own demons….or dance.

Kiri:  Boy oh boy, just when things couldn’t get any worse? They got worse! Of course they did! This is what happens when you let your guard down! At least, that’s what Kasumi was thinking, and with very good reason; however in spite of that Kasumi was determined to be ready to fight now. But going back a bit first. Kasumi had looked around for a few moments before actually responding to Grant, looking at him with an amused gaze for a second as she responded.

“It’s one of the innate racial abilities of Kitsune, Kitsune-bi, Fox-fire. Comes in three varieties, only my family is known dominantly for their prowess with Fire. When using it, well. We’re known for our skill with Flames. Easiest way to explain it. Before all this happened, our flames were why we were feared, and it’s still happening even today. This is what we’re known for, this is what we’ve been Feared over. I have more racial abilities than this, including, but not limited to: Illusionary Manipulation, Dream Manipulation, and some more things.”

Kasumi shrugged as her ears flicked once again, as though confirming what she had said. The abilities of Kitsune could be unpredictable, there was no telling what a Kitsune could have. Therefore, not many people knew what to expect other than Kitsune themselves after all was said and done; which was why Kasumi, and her brother for that matter, were so dangerous. Now. Back to the matter at hand. Kasumi was really agitated as to why Grant had thrown away his swords. Sure he had no experience with them, but appearances, but even so it was better to have them. Kasumi growled as she ignited her entire weapon in flames, the crimson combustion blazing brightly and extremely hot. Oooooooh this place was really getting on her nerves, but it wasn’t like she could just force an attack with Grant sitting there in the damn things hand. What he’d said had caught up in Kasumi’s head, her mind working about a hundred miles an hour it seemed as she tried to figure out that singular line she could hear. Eyes full of lies, and the fact he mentioned….. Tch!

“Grant! There’s a good chance this isn’t real! If the eyes on the wall were full of lies, then this may be an illusion they made! It’s a lie in itself if that’s the case!”

Hopefully one of them was right, she’d be pissed to hell if she ended up strapped here by herself.

” You have satisfied me

Therefore you can consider yourself free ”

– The Beast would say as Grant offered up the blades . Clearly this had meant sacrifice was a part of the gamble here , upon taking the swords the beast grinned before returning them to his side –

” You have shown that you are willing to throw this away and probably even more.
You are released from this realm to truly continue on .

But before you are released remember ; that proceeding onward would mean that you’ll lose humane qualities with the treasure that lies ahead. As long as you keep that in mind , move onward. May the Item give to you what you seek . ”

– And with that the realm dissipated and they were sent back into the realm of the maze , with their back’s up against a wall with a hole in it ; was this the ”beast” they thought they jumped into earlier ? Possibly . Who knew ? The path ahead seemed to lead to a clearing. –

Abyssmal Pond

https://i2.wp.com/i59.tinypic.com/2vb398m.jpg

– The land seemed to be shifting every second or so , and the vines moved about and lashed at the very little movements coming from anything and anyone it could reach . The two could see that the vines were whipping flies as they soared through the sky , as miniscule as they were. The other end of the pond revealed bright lights and broken structures, could this have been the end ? It seemed to have been likely . –

” Further and further you delve in

Not to realize that you will sin

To become inhuman and become the unknown

This is where your paths diverge and you must go………. alone ”

– From behind the tree walked out a man dressed quite elegantly , he gave off a mysterious feeling ; almost similar to the seemingly elderly male from earlier . This male looked at the both of them and grinned. –

https://i0.wp.com/i58.tinypic.com/35jywp5.jpg

” I’m so so very sorry . But only one of us is getting past here and that will be me. ”

– There was a second entrance to this pond and it laid just behind that tree , so it was clear at this point only one person can progress forward and the others would have to stick behind otherwise some sort of otherworldly force would cause them to be repelled. –

Terror. Fear of being wrong. Grant took a huge gamble by tossing away the swords which were the only thing he really had to defend himself with. A sheer moment of madness perhaps, or maybe he was more clued in than one would realize. He believed that the eyes of lies were the ones in the maze. The maze lying? The maze not being true? It was a big gamble, but it turned out to be the right one. The clink of his blades hitting the ground was the wager, and it was then that the riddler showed true satisfaction.

‘ You have satisfied me

Therefore you can consider yourself free ”

“Free?….FREE!” What a great rush of sound to come from Grant. He couldn’t believe it. For once in his life he got something right. His head spun to that of Kasumi and he beamed a smile that was enough to light the darkness. “And here I was about to shit my pants.” Too much info, son…..too much info.

Being released by the dark beast, Grant breathed a big sigh of relief. He even got his swords back. Talk about a win for Team GRANT. He was strapping the blades back on, when the riddler, as Grant liked to call him mentioned that to continue on meant that he would lose Humane qualities. Grant thought about this for a moment. To lose part of himself, that was a big ask. But then he remembered that he always thought of himself as being nothing special, but in his heart he wanted to be. This was a chance to be somebody. A chance to become a force like those that were only written about in comic books and anime. Grant was now ready for what lay ahead.

Returning to the earlier part of the maze, the pair found themselves now standing with their backs to a wall in the maze. Was that what the slug creature had been? Grant now thought so.

“How cool was that?” Grant asked of Kasumi with a broad grin. “And you thought this was dangerous.” Ever the joker.

Following the path, they came to a clearing, where the vines from the maze were slapping at flies as they grew upwards. Again a strange part to this challenging maze, but one that filled Grant’s eyes with wonder.

“No need for bug spray, huh?” Thinking that the vines were acting to clear the way of insects. It was then that the riddler started off again. Much to Grant’s surprise.

” Further and further you delve in

Not to realize that you will sin

To become inhuman and become the unknown

This is where your paths diverge and you must go………. alone ”

“Alone? Why alone?” Grant didn’t like the idea of going in alone. He rather liked having Kasumi at his side. But before he could address the riddler or the riddle, another appeared. He was like a younger version of the one that they had meet at the beginning. Turns out, he wanted to go forward….and only him.

” I’m so so very sorry . But only one of us is getting past here and that will be me. ”

“Hey…I battled a beast and the riddler said that one of us go alone.” He pointed to Kasumi and himself. “Besides, you don’t seem to be human, mate.”

~RB~

Kiri: ep, she was definitely done. D-O-N-E! DONE! Definitely, utterly, simply and completely done! She was right about the beast being an illusion, that wasn’t the problem here. But the very fact that she was also wrong about that was making her head reel like a speed bag that just got hit. Damn this place, damn this dungeon, damn these trials. Damn it all!! Kasumi shook her head hard and fast, trying to clear her head as they walked. Sheesh, this place was damn nuts. But it wasn’t like she’d expected it to be normal either. Which is the main reason she’d followed Grant in here, to help if he needed it.

And it seemed that time was coming. Kasumi had a bad feeling about what Grant had said, about someone going alone. Sure, she wanted to ask what he was talking about exactly, but she couldn’t now. It was more important to deal with the guy right in front of them, who definitely was a bigger problem regardless. Anyone who was in this place wasn’t normal, in one way or the other. An undeniable fact of the nature of things right now.

” No no………….. I’m saying I will be the one who will get the item and making sure I’ll be the first to retrieve it for my lord.”

– This Male seemed quite pissed that they seemed quite absent minded to what he had said but even then he musta assumed that they were thinking that it was their right to continue onwards without a struggle. This male held a extremely dark energy around himself and he would finally respond to the male’s mentioning of him not being human in which he had said –

” You are correct I am no mere ”’ human”’ , I am a Terakian named Keikai who follows Celtan , The Brain of The Destroyer faithfully to the death . I’ve known that male right there is the key to opening this specific dungeon and therefore we had waited and snuck in not long after you. So now prepare yourself ! ”

– It was clear at this point that the riddle from earlier meant only one was meant to pass onwards. Who knew how strong this male was . But it may be dangerous for anyone who wasn’t trained at the most utmost of skill . This meant he was truly a extremely hazardous person to a normal human. Only something of a supernatural caliber could keep him at bay at best , more or less stall if you will. So what was their choice ? Attempt to stick together and risk death or follow the path of the riddle. –

It was only now…only right this second that Grant finally realized what the strange looking dude meant. He was the one that wanted the treasure, the treasure that had called out to Grant. He was not part of the maze, or the quest – he was merely using Grant and now he wanted to be the one that went forward…alone. Talk about a line jumper.

“HEY…NO ONE LIKES A GUY THAT PUSHES IN!” He held up his arm, his finger pointing at the man accusingly. “RULES ARE RULES, WHETHER YOU’RE AT MACCAS, OR THE PICTURES! YOU DON’T CUE JUMP, BUDDY!” Wow, looked like the guy hit one of Grant’s pet hates. Grant was showing his dark side…yes. Kinda nerdy, but dark just the same. As he said all this with his voice projected loudly, he shot a look at Kasumi and said.

“This guy is a cheater….honest.” Yeah, he was, but he was also a dangerous one. He admitted right there that he wasn’t human at all, but a Terakian. “A what?” Grant tilted his head, not knowing anything about Terakus, or this Brain of the Destroyer. Sounded like something you keep in a jar. “I don’t care if you are Goku, we were here first.” There he went again, determined to be the one that went in before this creep. As the guy named Keikai continued, it was clear that he had been waiting for the key, aka Grant to open the dungeon all for them. It was like some prophecy….or something like out of a game. If Grant had any hope of winning, he was going to have to use his smarts.

If this man was the bad ass he claimed, then…Grant was going to have to defeat him at something that wasn’t magical.

“I challenge you…” Grant said…his face getting really serious as the cogs in his mind went into overdrive….“…to a dance off!”

Yes….a mother fucking dance off.

He pulled out his phone and started scrolling for the right song, before his eyes narrowed and he found the perfect song.

Grant took off his back pack…and his swords, as he prepared himself…with all the energy of a K pop back up singer. he put on a pair of dark sunglasses and went into his dance pose as the music rolled.

“Let’s do it!”

[ 2nd Dungeon] : Abyssmal Core (2) – Shattered Dimensions.

The quest now in the Abyssmal Core was becoming more dangerous by the minute.  Was Grant and Kasumi ready to face the worst that the Servants of Gizora could throw at them?

Kiri:  Kasumi was really beginning to get tired of this damned place already. First they got sucked in against their, her, will; then they end up going into a maze due to no other choice being possible; and THEN they had to jump into the mouth of some damnable beastie. And to top it off so far? THEY WERE STUCK IN SOME PITCH BLACK PLACE! Kasumi released Grant’s hand without a word, actually fairly agitated at this point, but she withheld her words for when they had gotten out of the dungeon. Oh she’d let him have it then, when they weren’t at any really harmful and dangerous risk. Kasumi could hear Grant messing with something, but what was lost to her at this point as she continued to stand completely still and not move at all as she debated on what to do; or so she would have done if the light hadn’t come on, regardless of the fact that not very much came out of it.

Kasumi looked at the dinky light with a look of amusement for a few moments, kind of trying not to laugh at him as she reached over and plucked the thing from his hands, turning it right back off so he could save his own battery. Surely he’d protest, but she’d simply cut him off by placing a finger to his lips only a moment before the two of them, and more of the surrounding area would have become far brighter as she ignited her Fox-Fire, letting it burn a bright crimson around her right hand. With a small smile, she would’ve dropped his keys into his hand before taking a look around; speaking a bit quietly, her voice a bit more relaxed now.

“Well, this is definitely a pickle. What an annoyance. Save that flashlight for later, you’ll need it more than likely. I can use my flames in order to handle this easily enough.”

Of course she could. but what was it that they saw…?

– The Light shone out and just barely ; just barely the darkness revealed a enigma. This being was unnatural and clearly belonged to this realm , with it’s appearance it clearly wasn’t a passive being nor did it display any sort of peace offering or gestures. The being roared with great intensity and revealed a certain aura around itself. The being was half formed , but this was clearly not a gesture of weakness ; it was quite possible the beast was everything that was dark . It oozed red liquid from it’s lips and onto the ground which stained it quite nicely , however as it drooled lightly it would stare at the source of light and allow it’s second roar to dim the light slowly just like a candle losing it’s brilliance. The beast would then reach to grab Grant with it’s hand , doing so with a quick motion and very little warning . Did it seek to harm him or entrap him in this realm forever ? What could have been the reason behind it ? It couldn’t be certain but for the most part it did not seem quite certain. –

” Eyes.
Eyes full of lies.
Lies that hold little truth but reveal a false nature
What is it that you will wager ? ”

– Something once more rang within the male’s brain . What could it have meant ? There can be many different interpretations , but clearly the person would have to throw something away to hold this power. But this beast had seemed quite furious , as if ready to eat them. It seemed like it was the choice the beast has chosen and would not be satisfied until it has done what it has –

Here was Grant, thinking he had it all going on great. Sure, it was a dinky flashlight, but it was better than nothing. Kasumi on the other hand thought it was a joke. She snatched it out of his hand, since the kitsune had a far better idea on how to illuminate where they had landed. Grant wanted to say a few choice words, but the kitsune placed a finger to his lips, muting him in an instant. The young man stared at her unblinking, since he knew she was not one to be trifled with. Then she did the most amazing thing. Creating a fox fire with her right hand. Wow, talk about amazing. Grant was really impressed by that.

“How’d you do that?” Genuinely intrigued. This girl was just one surprise after another. One thing was for sure, it was a hell of a lot brighter than his key chain flash light. Kasumi dropped the keys back in his hand, and he quickly placed them back into his backpack pocket with a little shrug of his shoulders. You could tell that the guy hadn’t ever done anything quite like this before.

“Well, this is definitely a pickle. What an annoyance. Save that flashlight for later, you’ll need it more than likely. I can use my flames in order to handle this easily enough.”

Pickle was the right word. Grant nodded at the instruction to save the flashlight for later, since they just didn’t know what was around the corner.

“You are so cool. Hey, next time we go on a quest, I’m packing marsh mellows.” Ever the optimist that they would survive this one. After all, they were in a darkened place, in the mouth of a big super slug. Grant was just about to point out where to go next, when…..

~RRRROOOOOAAAARRRR~

“What was that?”

Sure enough, the nightmare had only just begun. Turning towards the sound, the pair would encounter a demonic like being that was only half formed. It oozed red icky liquid from its mouth and it was staining the ground where it’s feet should be.

https://i1.wp.com/media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mcd9cmRLo71r5twrj.png

“Mommy….” Who else would you call for when you are so scared you are about to shit your pants. “I should have worn the brown slacks.” Grant cried, his voice getting into a higher pitch as a second roar was heard, blasting back the hair on Grant’s head, and weakening the glow of the fox fire.

“Oh shit…..” Grant stared at Kasumi’s hand and then urged her. “Make it glow…make it….ARRRGGGGGHHH!” The beast seized Grant in its right hand and with a quick motion, drew it closer to that horrible bleeding mouth. “It wants to eat meeeeeeeeeeeeeee!”

Flailing and kicking about, Grant struggled against the beasts hold, till he again heard that same voice. The voice of the riddler.

” Eyes.
Eyes full of lies.
Lies that hold little truth but reveal a false nature
What is it that you will wager ? ”

Grant was starting to hate these riddles. Grant repeated the words out loud so that Kasumi could hear.

“Eyes full of lies? Eyes full of lies?” Grant racked his brain as he tried to understand. “There were eyes in the…maze…looking. Eyes…wait…the maze is lying? How can a maze lie? Panicking now, he squealed again, and chewed on his bottom lip as he came so awfully close to the beast again.

“Wait…”

Grant struggled, and then in a flurry of movement, he tore off the swords on his back and threw them down upon the red stained floor.

“My swords….” Without them he couldn’t fight, and he was no threat. Was the beast really a threat to him? Kasumi might have well thought he lost the plot.

– The path continued on in a boring silence for quite awhile , nothing seemed to have happened or at least it didn’t seem to . It didn’t seem to change from being a straight path for the time it had went on , until birds actually appeared in the flesh fleeing from the depths of the path ; something similar to a warning if they took into account of the senses of birds and their patterns . They were attempting to get away from something , something that laid within . Eyes began to appear on the walls following the birds , but their expansions stopped as soon as they noticed Grant and Kasumi , blinking rapidly . What were they doing ? What were their purpose ? A voice echoed through their head –

” Deeper deeper you traverse

Attempting to seek the power to save this universe

If you are to claim the power to deceive

Then you must leap into the mouth of the beast ”

Abyssmal Forest

– The eyes released a dark shroud of gases that somehow transported the two into a new area . The land was covered with trees , and it seemed somehow they were lost even moreso then before without any sense of direction . A large slithering sound was heard , what followed was something unnatural and disgusting.-

https://i0.wp.com/i60.tinypic.com/2iozv4.jpg

– The beast emerged , it’s mouth gaping wide as if ready to consume them both ; however upon closer inspection the inside of the beast’s mouth revealed a swirling portal ; what did that mean ? Does it lead elsewhere other then their imminent death and consumption ? Only the two would be able to decide what this had meant . This was their journey. –

” My eyes are blind to the deceit

But soon enough our paths will meet

You may have progressed ahead

But we will meet once more. . . ”

– The person removed his hood ; revealing a head of black hair and a male physique with a empty expression on his face but definitely a sinister aura around him. A group of birds began to continuously flock around him –

Abyssmal Garden Path

Grant had a good feeling. Call it fate…call it luck…call it karma. He could just feel that this was the right path to take. Only thing was it was the really boring one. Silence blanketed the path like a thick fog, it was almost deafening. Like nothing lived in this part of the maze. Luckily for Grant, he had Kasumi by his side, though she was not enjoying this at all.

What’s your plan then? Since you rushed in here like a madman.”

“Who said anything about me having a plan?” Grant cocked a brow as he walked along, the sound of dead leaves crushing under foot. “I rushed in cause I was excited. Not every day you get to live out an adventure, now is it?” Either he was a fool for being so chuff about this, or he had no sense whatsoever. To Grant, this was like the Mother of all questing games, and it was real. Real as they came. The fact he had a Kitsune along with him, only added to the fun. Not that Kasumi saw it as that. No, she could pick up on the dangers – even if he couldn’t.

“Besides. the Queen gave me real sword swords!” Yes, she did. Funny that. His synthetic ones would have been no match for whatever dangers were ahead. Grant wiggled his back to show off the fabulous sheathed weapons. So he wasn’t totally unarmed, but could he use them. One would suspect that the only time he had swords that he fought with was when he used a game stick, not the real thing. Grant went to give the Kitsune’s head a pat, when suddenly a whole lot of birds flew out from the maze, while goggly eyes were looking out at the pair from the maze walls. The eyes blinked and stared at Grant as he passed. It was kind of odd to see so many eyes. Eyes without a face. Grant even stopped and stared at the eyes, before darting his head back and forth, up and down to see if the eyes did indeed follow his movements.

“Scared birds…and a wall of eyes?” Something scared the birds…what could it be?

“Something….” His words trailed off as he heard a voice that spoke another riddle.

” Deeper deeper you traverse

Attempting to seek the power to save this universe

If you are to claim the power to deceive

Then you must leap into the mouth of the beast ”

“Hear that? We have to enter a mouth. I wonder if that means the mouth of a cave?’ At least Grant was trying to use that pink mushy thing between his ears. “Come on…” Grant urged, as he led his furry friend further into the maze. Then right on cue…a huge slug like ooga booga beast emerged with a gaping maw that was so large that they would be able to step into it.

https://i2.wp.com/media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mf5o7d4Apn1qzz9rr.png

“That’s one ugly ugly beast! We really have to go into it’s mouth?” Grant was already questioning the whole deal. The riddle said that to claim the power to deceive they had to leap into the mouth. The young man chewed his lip, then looked back at Kasumi. “There is something swirly in that mouth, and not the usual set of pink tonsils. Should we jump in?”He didn’t want to force the Kitsune further, but he really wanted to know if she thought it was the right thing to do.

“I never planned on this.” His voice carrying back to the entrance no doubt.

Kiri:

Kasumi had to say, Grant definitely wasn’t good at reading a situation; the Mist and eerie silence surrounding the duo should have clued him in. Instead he simply stayed excited like nothing could go wrong. And of course that bugged her a lot. The very fact he was happy over the swords as well made her get an even worse feeling about all of this; the feeling she’d have to save his ass. A lot. He didn’t have a plan. Of course he didn’t have a plan, why did she even think he would? This guy was on an adrenaline high, and it would probably get worse. Kasumi did have to admit one thing though, he had guts. Which of course, ended up bringing them to the next issue.

Kasumi was silent, but she snarled and gave a definitely inhuman growl at the beast the moment she saw it. Her grip on Hirai Hime tightened the moment she saw it, and her fur began to bristle within seconds. She didn’t drop this appearance either, till Grant decided to bring up the fact of the riddle; this caused her to drop it, but even so she held the katana tight and kept her stance ready for a fight if needed. Kasumi ran her head through the lines, analyzing and comparing everything as she weighed every possibility before growling to herself and answering; while she did, she extended her hand to Grant.

“Take my hand, and do NOT let go no matter what. Dammit this is insane, but it’s the only way we’ll escape this alive if that’s what I think it is inside of its mouth. So… HOLD ON!”

Once Grant had taken her hand, Kasumi would have taken off at full sprint, giving Grant a feeling of moving fast enough that once they stopped stopped he’d be utterly dizzy. But even so, Kasumi would have dragged the man along until she jumped up, landing square through the mouth of the beast, while preparing to incinerate the beast from the inside out at the first sign of being wrong.

Fu:  Thee Abyss

– Once they had leaped into the mouth it was clear that it was a mouth used for something other then eating , this pathway lead them elsewhere ; someplace completely different. They entered a complete and absolute darkness ; filled with nothing but black , how could one see ? It was similar to just having your eyes entirely shut and attempting to sleep. Moving without any source of direction and with this penalty to the senses how would one move on ? How could they see anything ? If only one of them had a source of light to see . To see where they were and how to progress , would they be able to retrieve what was held in the epicenter of this entire dungeon. Was there something or someone in this darkness ? –

” If you wish to succeed

Cast a Bright Light to see ”

– These two phrases would soon echo into Grant’s mind ; allowing him to hear this personally and it was up to him to decide how he would approach this situation. What would await them once the light was cast ? –

Wow that little Kitsune sure was a fiery gal. She was ever ready with the katana drawn in case of something attacking them. Her senses must be spot on and with what they were now facing, Kasumi was on the money. This big super slug from the pits of hell was simply the most gross looking beast imaginable. There was however the spinning vortex that was in its gaping maw that gave the impression that this was more than just a super slug. If you follow the riddle as it was said, then the only way forward was to enter the creature’s mouth. It would be a giant leap of faith in a place that was so sinister, you had to wonder if it was truly the right thing to do. Being a gentleman, and also wanting Kasumi’s opinion, he had put it to her that maybe it was the way to go. Course, she really didn’t want to, but she wasn’t stupid either.

“Take my hand, and do NOT let go no matter what. Dammit this is insane, but it’s the only way we’ll escape this alive if that’s what I think it is inside of its mouth. So… HOLD ON!”

This was so exciting. They were actually going to jump inside the big worm’s mouth. Taking hold of Kasumi’s hand, Grant wrapped his fingers around the Kitsunes and then yelled out.

“JEROMINOOOOOOOOOO!” Leaping with all he had and going deep into the mouth of the beast.

Once inside….it was lights out.

https://bottledtime.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/eyes-in-the-dark.gif

Total darkness. A world of nothing, and no way to see the direction forward or back. Grant still had a hold of Kasumi’s hand, but he couldn’t see her…at all.

“Well this was unexpected.” He thought there would be some illumination. But no, just the inky blackness. Grant thought for a moment, then snapped his fingers.

~Click!~

“I have a little key chain night light, for when I can’t find the lock in my front door. Just a sec, it’s in my back pack.”Reaching around, Grant unzipped the section where his wallet and keys were. He fiddled about in the dark till his fingers touched onto the key chain, which happened to be a rabbit’s foot, along with a lot of keys and the little flash light. It was so dinky, you couldn’t imagine it lighting up much, but bringing it out, Grant flicked it on.

……and then…there was light.
