Erasing Imagination – The Kingdom of Greed : PD

Dessy:

Immediately after the girl in red had been pulled away, she went back to normal. And she didn’t seem to remember anything. Weird. But, no matter. She watched with a raised eyebrow as the girl in red threw a cookie to the Jabberwocky. Where did the cookies come from? Coming back, Mariela slightly jumped when Aria ran over and grabbed her hands, jumping up and down. She gave a smile and light laugh, nodding her head. “YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!! Mammon was so mean to us. I’m glad there is a new princess!” Aria exclaimed, hopping around her. “I’m glad to see you so happy about it.” she said, and then this is when she started following the man. She then turned to the girl in black when she started to introduce herself and her sister.

https://i0.wp.com/33.media.tumblr.com/b1b5e45eb655c2a7a04a5557d02dc9ce/tumblr_inline_n1tjshW6HY1rg5w1l.gif
Mariela gave a smile, then a nod. “I’m sorry I couldn’t give you a more… welcoming welcome.” she said, looking back to the ballroom. “But, welcome home.” she said. She then turned to look at Ayana. “Why did you come to Greed, if I may ask?” she said, continuing to speed-walk down the library. When she walked in, she saw black mist that looked like hands, and he was giving orders. That’s when she gave him a hello. She raised an eyebrow as he poured himself a drink, before shaking her head.

“I was going to ask you the same thing, but I decided to do a little investigating myself.” He said, and Marie titled her head.“I know the story of Alice, but I don’t know why Wonderland is in Hell.” she then said. As the mist came back from the book, Mariela walked over to the table and placed the helmet down, before picking up the hat and the watch. She walked back to Marcus just as he told the mist to get another book. “Scar never leaves his hat…” she stated out loud, before looking at the watch. “What’s this?” she asked, turning it in her hand. She then popped it open, narrowing her eyes. “The hands are moving too fast, and there are only six numbers on it.” she then said out loud. She looked up when Marcus began his introduction.

Mariela’s eyes narrowed when Raul was mentioned. “If you’re anything like Raul…” she spoke in a threateningly tone. The dislike for him could be heard in her voice. Hearing him mention the mirror, that confirmed that it was indeed the mirror that the shattered pieces were from. But that meant… what? Her eyebrows furrowed, and she looked back up as he mentioned his mother. “Why is your mom ob- actually, nevermind.” Mariela said, shaking her head. They had more important matters. “You happened to end Lydia. Good one!” he said, then gave a thumbs up. “Yeah, well. She was a bitch.” Mariela said with a shrug.

She looked down at the book when the mist dropped it, putting the hat and the watch down and leaning over to look at it.“Why is someone erasing the books?” she asked, looking up at Marcus. “A champion?” she asked, and then she thought back on the story. “In the Alice in Wonderland story, a champion had to go and slay the Jabberwocky, saving all of Wonderland.” she spoke. “But the Jabberwocky was here…” she spoke, things slowly starting to click together.“Someone at Greed is the champion.” she then said, turning around to look at Ayana. Ayana was here when the Jabberwocky first showed up, and from the way she entered through the window, it could be assumed she was the champion. But, Mariela was still there too – so it could be her… but Mariela wasn’t positive. She was forgettign the fact about the sword being the only weapon to slay it – the same sword that she was sheathed on her side.

“If this can erase a story, not only are those in it in danger….another book is too. Probably the only one that can defeat the evil. Gee, and I thought I was bad. Whoever planned this from the start was insanely clever. Or a madman.”

The more Marcus talked, the more Marie’s eyes furrowed. As soon as he mentioned a book that can defeat evil, Mariela’s eyes widened. “The Book of Shadows.” she spoke. Immediately she raced to the back of the library, where the book was kept hidden. She grabbed the book, rushing back over to everyone else and setting it on the table, flipping it open and flipping through pages. “This is the only book that can defeat evil.” she said, but looked over when Marcus opened the Alice book. Seeing the Jabberwocky fading, she tilted her head. She reached over Marcus to grab the book and placed it in front of her. “The Jabberwocky is being erased.” she said. “Wouldn’t that mean the Jabberwocky was dying?” she said. It only made sense. If it was being erased from the book, that means it’s not there. That’s at least what she thought. She wasn’t sure if she was correct. She then glanced over at Scar’s hat, before flipping through the book. Scar was the Hatter in Wonderland. If the Hatter was still in the book, that means Scar would be in Wonderland. Right?

That didn’t explain where her family was… She still needed to find them. Mariela seemed to be completely calm by all of this, but in reality she was panicking on the inside. Hardcore panicking. How was she supposed to find them, and figure out everything else going wrong at the same time? If Scar was in Wonderland, that meant that they could possibly be in Wonderland if they followed him. If that was true, how was she supposed to get there to find them? This was causing a lot of panic inside, and it’s a good thing she was good at not showing that panic. She looked at Masumi from the corner of her eye, then asked, “Where did the cat come from?”

Sieg:

There were many forces in this world that could drive someone to do stupid things, things that were nearly suicidal, but sometimes this were not good enough, at least not themselves. Sometimes the thirst for revenge seemed too impure and they decided to call it justice, sometimes the love one denied to feel turned into painful care, a thorn in the heart, that somehow ended up digging so deep that it took roots somehow. And as terrible as this was, something like this could drive a man or a woman to do things that seemed impossible, it could drive them to greatness, to break boundaries that nobody else dared to get close to and at the same time do terrible acts without batting an eye. But it all meant nothing without the determination, the raw desire and the complete lack of care for the world that stood before you…it sounded terrible but in the end heroes, villains, and such were always driven by this forces when trying to change the world, a desire, a goal, and enough determination by their side to fulfill it. The trouble of course began when those who stood in between decided to step in, in the end heroes had limits and villains effort to just be “evil” make them predictable…but those who were neither, they were the most dangerous.

Here we are, Kingdom of Greed just like I promised!…pretty cool looking uh?

There was a saying, that sometimes a look or the mere presence of an individual could drive chills down a back and kill the silence, yet in a place like this sometimes that very phrases took a different meaning. Take this two individuals for instance, the first one was just smiling while he remained hidden under the many rags that forced his cloak and clothing, covering him whole as he grinned and opened his arms while from the distance before their eyes the Castle stood high and mighty, scarred, and yet still bearing that sensation of power on the ancient stones that formed it’s walls, a sight to behold if anything, one that the other man did not seemed very interested in. It was this the scary one of the two, cause while the other seemed beggar, this man literally caused the temperature to start descending as his eyes were glued on this place, sightly narrowed as the muscles from his arms tensed. She was there…her very presence shattering for a second his stoic exterior, one that he quickly recovered as one of his hands caressed a beautiful spear that in his hands he held. Despite how cold his hands were, he still could feel her warmth lingering within…as if a part of her very essence remained, from that winged warrior, that angelic and yet frightening lady of the battle, his friend that fell in the hands of the hands of the one who now had shelter within the walls of Greed. For a moment the warmth relaxed him, reminded him of the many battles that together they fought, the many things they did, the many they couldn’t…memories so beautiful that brought the ghost of joy into his eyes that seemed to bear the color of the bark of the trees…until finally they reached that painful one, that end that quickly took care of remind him of his reason to be here

You have fulfilled your word, it amazes me

Told ya Snowwy, I promise and I deliver…so, can I stay to watch?

The cloaked figure seemed to enjoy what would soon take place, yet the one with the white coat remained silent as his eyes raised with a look that made the other chuckle nervously. The one in white, that stood at two proud metres decided not to answer to his request and allow his eyes to give him an answer themselves. They warned him not to push his luck, not to get on the way or treat this lightly for this business were serious for him. And in turn the shorter one decided to be smart and take his proposition away, chuckling to dismiss it as a joke for his own health. Before him stood an Einherjar, once mortal, once dweller of Valhalla who sat at the side of heroes and kings and gained his place to become equals with them by the blade, but it was not this what frightened the traveller but the fact that no matter what he was, one thing was certain, before him stood a warrior, one he did not wanted to mess with

You may leave now, I will have your reward ready when this is over

S-Sure…and hey, if you manage to make a friend in here grumpy, bring them to good ol Venice, I might give them a tour around if you want

The Einherjar was not amused by the other jokes and attempts to get more clients on his business, and he did not hidden his intentions to end his talk soon the moment his hand slowly traveled to the hilt of the blade he had on his back, doing it slowly, as the other started to step back as he laughed a little, being pretty certain that his partner until now would be better off alone, for his own safety of course. So he did not lost a second, afraid it might mean one less second to live, as all he did was direct a thumbs up and a grin at the tall warrior before he jumped down on place and seemed to pass through the solid ground as a ghost, leaving the one in white alone, as he released the blade and turned his gaze towards the structure, still bearing that blank expression on his face. For a moment he took in account what would happened once his journey was over, how he would never enjoy peace of any sort…was it worth it? He his moved up, running along his hand as his thumb ran along the two feathers that were placed an accessory on his hair, one older than the other as he was only meant to have one with him

Valkyrie…cast away by Odin, blessed by Thor…forgiven for your crimes…

For a second the cold seemed to get worst in the area as from this cliff he stared towards the castle that remained far, his eyes carrying a small light in them, a desire for blood, a need for a revenge, to punish those who were guilty one by one, starting by the Valkyrie that made of that place her home. Her hands were stained with blood, and he would not allow that forgiveness was granted to her that easy, not after she took someone precious to him. He didn’t cared who got in the way, who tried to condemn his actions…he would face off against Valhalla itself and destroy it if he had to, if it meant making justice, if it meant punishing her for her actions in the only way he knew. So he stood there, on a hill far from there with a good look of the structure as he gripped the spear tightly as small pale lines appeared on his arm, slowly crawling towards his palm and from there forcing themselves into the spear. The warmth vanished, and the Einherjar looked towards the weapon, for a moment his eyes saddened as before him her face appeared, a mere confident grin that in the past brought up the same on him and that right now only caused something to fall from his face, a tiny drop that crystallized itself before it finally fell to the ground, shattering as he his orbs hardened again

Your judgement has arrived…and you will not be spared from it…no matter the cost or consequence…justice will be made

Nobody would listen, he knew, but this words were not spoken to anyone other than himself, to his inner ghosts, as a way to give him the final push to infuse the weapon, his friend’s weapon with his own icy magics before he tensed his muscles as his body got into position. He wasn’t going to murder her in her sleep for it would not be the same, he would not get an army and pit her against a foe much bigger than hers until she tired out and fell with honor. That mercy was too good for her, no, he would become a thorn in her heart, he would take away her joy and her sense of safety, he would make sure she would have no more place to call home and no person to call family by her side. He would face her then and take her head, and once he did he planned to throw it at Odin’s feet and then claim’s the one from his son, Loki…but that were just plans for the future, mere small ideas, for the moment, he would only make his presence known, remind her that in the eyes of many she was no warrior, no valkyrie, less a murderous animal. So with all his might he threw the spear that moved across the air like if it was an arrow, a spear that moved across the air until it finally reached a window that it shattered into pieces before a moment later it stabbed itself on the floor of a room, the tip of the blade the spear bore in,  digging deep enough into the ground for it to remain standing, as the very floor around it seemed to end up covered with ice that slowly seemed to crawl around, aiming to start covering more and more ground as it seemed unable to contain the power it was infused with. A Valkyrie’s spear that now bore a cold soul…a mere warning shot for the one that lived within that walls

Now…what will you do you animal?…what is your response?

The Einherjar crossed his arms as his eyes remained focused and expectant, as he tried to think of every possible scenario that would take place now. A few more certain than others, but all of them leading to a confrontation that would freeze many people’s blood but not his. He would not pray like others cause to no god he could pray and nor he wanted to, he would not fear for there was no pain left in this world that would hurt him, not even death frightening him anymore. The Einherjar that was baptized Reinier by the Valkyrie that perished in the arms of her sister had a mission, one that one way or the other he would finish, even if meant destroying this Kingdom or Hell itself with his own two hands

Aria was slightly surprised when she felt herself being dragged away by the hood of her cloak, but she simply giggled, and raised her hands in the air as though she were on a ride. Then she heard her sister introducing them, and she simply waved her hands from the position she was in. This girl was as serious as a fluffy white cloud…. It was hard keeping her under control.

As they entered the library, Aria was released from the dragging, and quickly got to her feet with more of her bubbly giggles. Though as everything was getting all serious with the male in the room Aria felt out of place… So what did she do? What she does best. Ruin the mood.

The girl quickly seemed to vanish for a moment before appearing once again before the male. Her face would only be about an inch from his now, and her grin was as wide as the cat’s. You could tell she was being mischievous at the moment.

“You’re a cutie. Try to go on a few dates with her before you guys get to doing the nasty.” she said before vanishing once more.

A trail of rose petals were left in her wake as she left the library, though it seemed she had grabbed the cat from her sister before leaving. Now she was just skipping through the halls of the kingdom, petting the cat, and humming. That was until she heard the sound of glass breaking. At the noise she stopped, and turned to look in the direction that it had come from. It seemed to be the ballroom.

Aria quickly skipped into the room, and was awwed by what she saw. There was a large spear sticking out of the ground, and the floor was beginning to become covered in ice. Aria quickly giggled some more, and began sliding all across the ground, acting like an ice skater. She was having tons of fun…. Until she noticed that the Jabberwocky had begun to shrunk.

“Aww! No! Whats wrong with the Jabber-baby-Wocky?” she asked.

She seemed to have heard its actual name from within the library, but had changed it to be cutsie, and adorable…. Though how a creature that looked like that could be known as “Cutsie” would be well beyond the comprehension of most normal people.

Masumi could tell things weren’t going to be exactly simple at the moment from everything that had happened and was happening right now; she didn’t know what she had missed in the past couple of years, but from what she could tell everything wasn’t entirely sound at the correct level. Mariela was apologizing about not having given them a more peaceful and heartwarming welcome, but to that she simply smiled, unaffected by the fact. She seemed amused by the fact on the contrary, but who knew with this one; she was abnormally calm about everything going on as though it was nothing compared to what she had seen in the past. And in a way, it was.

Ayana didn’t give so much an audible reply as she did a murmur only loud enough for Mariela to hear, mumbling about her having gotten lost like an idiot, but at this point it seemed that Ayana too was calm. After having gone on a rampage, you’d think the Valkyrie would still have some sort of psychopathic mentality with her at the moment, but the fact that she was so calm at this moment was strange to Masumi, who was always abnormally calm. As the two stood on the sidelines of the conversation, Aria decided to… well she ruined the mood suffice to say, with Masumi sighing as she slapped her palm across her face. Ayana stifled a giggle when Masumi leaned over and mumbled to her, asking for a favor. It was a quick sign of trust, but it meant something to the Valkyrie, after what happened. Ayana nodded and crackled with electricity for a moment before bolting out the door as Masumi walked to the table; pulling the Book of Shadows to her slowly.

She had heard rumors, of course, but with Mammon being the sexist bastard that he was she was never absolutely sure as to how or whether or not it was even truly here. She was curious, the book able to summon and destroy any demon at all, it was useful, but the previous owners both had died, meaning the power of two princes were engraved in this book if the legends she had heard were true. Perhaps it wasn’t the only book, but Masumi knew it was invaluable to use if they had to defeat some kind of evil locked away inside of hell. The biggest issue was… what and how?

Masumi: “Is there anything we can do with this? Using this, we may have a chance to get into Wonderland and get back with plenty of time to spare. Is there anyone you can actually call for to help us?”

Masumi flipped back to the very beginning of the massive book, flipping through the pages as she analyzed each page with stunning speed, but what she was reading didn’t help them at all, in fact it only set them back more as most of the spells they were dealing with in here were meant for a trio of witches; something about a Power of Three, located on one of the pages. Then Masumi saw the Dominus Trinus, a spell she wasn’t sure of its use, but it intrigued her. Raising a brow at one of the lines, Masumi flipped back to the Power of Three, analyzing it in more detail as she thought silently. If Mariela wanted to know what she was thinking, she’d probably have to ask.

Meanwhile Ayana was arriving in the ballroom after having hunted for Aria for a moment, only to have a crash echo which drew her to it; luckily it had also piqued the interest of Aria herself, but with the roof creaking and groaning, Ayana let out a groan of her own as she dashed in; ignoring the spear and the ice as the used the metal pipes running through the flooring to magnetize and properly keep herself latched correctly to the floor as she dashed for Aria and the Jabberwocky; she would have grasped Aria by the hood as she jerked up the Jabberwocky. With a mad dash, Ayana rushed from the ballroom, and would have stopped at the entrance just far enough out so that the collapse of the place wouldn’t have caught her, Aria or the Jabberwocky. Knowing it would have come in a few seconds by the sound of it.

Razor:

The Book of Shadows? Of course. Now things were starting to make sense. Marcus uttered a cursed word under his breath, while slamming his fist down on the table. This was why Marguerite was so obsessed with the Greed Kingdom. She didn’t want the crown, she wanted the bloody book. How on earth the book wound up in the library of a Sin Prince was still a mystery, but it did explain why Raul was sent to sniff out Lydia. A foothold into the kingdom so Mother dearest could come and snatch the book right from under Lydia’s nose. Now, his calculating bitch of a Mother had sent Marcus, but the thing was, he didn’t come to the Kingdom to sate his Mother’s wishes – rather to meet the girl that had challenged all the Elders and other rulers in the face of losing her family. Realizing he might have caused concern with his sudden outburst, he smoothed his hand over the wood of the table, before reigning in his temper.

“This is the only book that can defeat evil.” Mariela stated, as she flipped open the book and ran her fingers through the yellow pages. What she didn’t realize was that the book was a weapon and a powerful one in the wrong hands.

”I have a question though. Did you or…Lydia summon any demon from that book?” This question had implications that stretched to the other books in the library. Whether Mariela realized it or not. ”Try to pull something or someone of power using an enchantment…think?” Marcus stared at her with an intensity as he wanted to see if she could remember, considering all the crazy things that were going on right now. In the background, the book of Alice in Wonderland had been showing signs of creatures and writing being erased. One was the Jabberwocky.

“The Jabberwocky is being erased.” she said. “Wouldn’t that mean the Jabberwocky was dying?” The poor witch was asking so many questions and having all these weird things happening all at once. Not to mention the girls that had come into the library. One that had found a strange orange and purple striped cat. The cat didn’t look like an ordinary feline. In fact, it was almost human like, if one could say that. Marcus remembered seeing the massive Jabberwocky when he had arrived and when last he left that part of the castle, the Jabberwocky was in battle with another girl. What was it about this castle and the high number of battle babes? That was going to be a question for later. ”Maybe…you should go see what is happening to it here?” Obvious is as obvious does.

“Where did the cat come from?” Another question. But one of the other battle babes stole the coloured kitty, before making a rather shocking remark or was it a compliment about Marcus and Mariela.

“You’re a cutie. Try to go on a few dates with her before you guys get to doing the nasty.”
”Thank you for the advice, I’ll keep that in mind.” Marcus couldn’t help but smirk at this girl’s boldness, but he only shrugged his shoulders playfully, if Mariela had been offended by it. ”Girls today…I don’t know. What I do after a date has never been considered nasty. Earth trembling…maybe. Orgasmic bliss…possibly, but never nasty.” Marcus beamed at Mariela, before turning his attention to Masumi, who was now intrigued by the Book of Shadows, after losing the strange cat to what was her battle bosom buddy.

“Is there anything we can do with this? Using this, we may have a chance to get into Wonderland and get back with plenty of time to spare. Is there anyone you can actually call for to help us?”

”Probably the only safe bet would be Lavinia’s apprentice. Esme. She’s not an elder yet, and probably the only one Mariela here didn’t threaten.”

Meanwhile, the cat who was being held by the strange girl with giggles and a grin that matched the cat itself, was doing what it normally does when being held oddly. Its body vanished from view, leaving only the head and the tail which swished about behind it. Seeing the shrunken Jabberwocky, the cat let out a loud laugh.

”It’s a teeny weenie nasty little dragonie wagonie. Not all hell fire and purple smoke now, are ya?’ The cat’s head then popped and only the grin remained, along with the tail. ”Not all powerful in Hell, I see. Red Queen will be mean, when she finds out!”

Rise of the Horsemen – 1

We continue with the tales of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Elven:

A tiny hand laid in his, holding it as they both jumped from tile to tile in the rain on the streets of London.
This little light of mine Inanis sang, not caring about the few people there that glanced at him from under their umbrella’s, he had had one too, but had given it to the little girl beside him. Not that it mattered as she was already wet and the splashing didn’t help anyway. But she liked it, she laughed, and if it ever came to it he’d buy her new clothes anyway.
I’m going to let it shine She sang, jumping into the next puddle, splashing murky water all over his pants. She looked up at him with a devilish grin, and he gave her an overly fake shocked face before grinning back.
Hide it under a bushel? He half sang, half asked, while stepping into the next puddle, though it got more of him filthy than her.
NO! I’m going to let it shine! She got an angry look on her face when she adamantly said no, and he couldn’t help but laugh seeing her so worked up over the song. To put the deed to the words she stomped into the biggest puddle she could find, ruining her dress and shoes completely if they hadn’t been before.
Don’t let Satan put it out! It wasn’t as if he would ever put it out anyway, but she didn’t know that. Little lights weren’t his to put out nor light, instead he took all the little voids that hurt the lights.
I’m going to let it shine! “Satan won’t ever get my little light, it’s mine!” She let go of his hand and stepped in all the puddles she could find, and just at that point he got a phone call. For a little bit he let her avert her rage on the innocent puddle. The voice on the other end of the line was Bisur’s, and how she ever got a phone to work with those doggy paws of hers was a mystery to him. The only way he could think of was if she had a large tablet, but he realised that underestimating her ingenuity had cost many a man’s life. The news was bad though, another set of demons running rampant, this time somewhere in a barn in the middle of Nowhere, Alabama. “Erase their forms, throw the souls back for torture in the lower levels, whoever was their leader; degrade him to the lowest form of demon you can find, a squishy bugling or so. I’ll deal with the consequences later.” For some reason the demons had been particularly finicky lately, and honestly with the quality of souls he was getting keeping them in line was hard enough as it was. He somewhat envied God, having all those nice, clean souls. Perhaps that was what he needed, a really really good, loyal soul. But then again, who’d be loyal to Lucifer, the greatest betrayer ever apparently. Truth was, he had tried to take heaven any way he could, especially just after his fall, but lately he just couldn’t rationalize warring about it anymore. He’d made his own place in the world pretty decently without heaven, and honestly, where would the bad people go if not for Hell?
“Hey, Tiffany, let’s go look for your mommy one more time!” He said somewhat stern to the girl, having her stop jumping around in the puddles. There were too many people, and too few angels… and sometimes that led to lost little lights, who should’ve been guided by a guardian angel. Perhaps of all children she should’ve been the one most deserving of one, but some things took time to get rearranged and corrected. In the meantime, all he could do was take out the voids threatening her. He would get on it that same evening, and it was only by chance he found a lost light, most were never seen again until he saw them back as evil souls. Honestly all he had been planning on was taking her druggie parents, but now things had gotten infinitely more complicated. Lost or not, the rules of his banishment clearly stated that in no way he could influence good souls to become bad, and he tried to uphold that rule the best he could from his end, even if some demons were hard to contain and hold.
He knew where her mommy was… but it was not where she should be. She had dumped her dear little Tiffany in a toy store several hours ago so she could shoot up some heroin in an apartment, and she wouldn’t come to do her motherly duties for a few hours either.

Azure:

It was finally time for Michael to descend into the human world. The situation had gotten way out of hand and his subordinates weren’t enough. He had to enter the stage. He teleported himself in the area which demons were apparently the most active. As he arrived in the human world, in the split of a second, he could sense everything: the demons, the Horsemen, the humans in dismay, the angels which were starting to lose hope and his fallen brother, Lucifer.

A rather high number of demons was about to wreck havoc in the city where Michael teleported himself. The beasts already had some ‘fun’ and the humans in a certain neighbourhood were cornered. There were mostly elders, women and children. The men either fled and searched for a safe place, leaving their so-called loved ones behind, or they tried to fight the demons and got slaughtered. Only a few meters separated the demons from the defenseless humans, but Michael was not going to let them have their way. The archangel commander appeared in front of the demons, making them stop in their tracks. He was in his human form, wearing his celestial armor and a holy sword behind his back. He looked like he came from the old times and the whole scene seemed surreal.

The demons obviously felt the pressure of his presence, which is why they stopped in the first place. An archangel’s power was not for show, especially in Michael’s case. ”Return to Hell!” he demanded, on a resonating, but at the same time calm, tone. Even if those were demons, he would have rather not killed them. The beasts got angry. ”We don’t take orders from stinking angels!” said one of them. ”Don’t get so cocky just because you’re an archangel! Not even you can defeat all of us on your own!” said another one, and the others snorted in agreement. Michael sighed and pointed towards the sky. The demons looked up and what came from above was the last thing they saw. A gigantic ray of divine light came from the heavens and smited the tens of demons. ”It is quite unfortunate, but not even I am that patient when it comes to demons” he thought to himself.

Michael turned towards the humans and engulfed them in divine light, healing them, curing their diseases and making them calm down a little. A little girl with black, curly hair of medium length and green eyes, who was also holding a teddy bear, ran from her mother’s side and went near Michael. ”Are you God?” she asked, in awe. The archangel laughed and patted her on the head. ”No, but I am His will” he answered, smiling. A few other angels came where Michael was. ”Good timing. Please take these people to a safe place” he said, then he turned towards the humans and told them to listen to the angels.

After everyone was gone, Michael used telepathy to communicate with all the angels on Earth. ”Brothers and sisters, do not fear and do not be enchained by despair. We are all children of God and we are protected by His grace. We shall overcome this ordeal, as we stand for the Light! We will be victorious!” he said.

Leggo:

I intend to…Brother.”

Death of course showed no emotion, but the chill in the air only increased when Pestilence sasses her as he did. It was originally fated that she would claim the lives of a chosen few, and move on. But now it seemed that her task would be much longer drawn out than it seemed. However, she could forgive the other horsemen, his disease was hard to control and so it was not unforgivable that he would cause more death today than planned, but she would keep watch on her brother closely.

For now, there was work to be done, and even Death knew that this soup would be the hardest to reap…

Taking leave if the waiting room, Death made her way through the corridors of the offices and patients surrounding Doctors and Nurses begging for help, until she came across the room at the end of the long hall, where the mother that had previously been called sat with her child, holding the ill infant daughter in her arms as she cooed softly. The baby however cried nonstop, it’s forehead hot as fire with the fever, and in so much pain from the illness thrust upon it. Death silently watched the mother beg and plead with the child to hush it’s crying, and even she had to turn her eyes away from the scene. Even for her, this was going to be painful, the child could’ve lived a long life, found love and died happily in the end….

But it was not to be.

The silver eyed horsemen steadied herself and stepped forward, stopping just in front of the mother who now held her head in her hand, looking away from the crying baby in frustration and exhaustion, she only wanted her baby to be better. And soon she would be. Death leaned over the child, who still screamed it’s lungs out in sickness and anger, and opened its little eyes to gaze up at the angel of death before her.

It’s okay little one…the Angels will take good care of you.”

She promised, and closed those silver eyes and placed a cold chilling kiss upon the infants head, and the crying and screaming ceased at once. It’s eyes were closed, and it’s skinned grew colder as the moments passed. It wasn’t long before the mother noticed the silence and turned to check the her baby. Death was already out of the door and into the corridor again when she heard the blood curdling scream if agony from the mother, and she closed her eyes with a sigh. It was her job…the baby suffered no more and would be taken care of up above…she was sure of it.

It was then that Death sensed another presence on the Earth…two exactly. One completely divine, and one completely wicked. The two brothers, Michael and Lucifer walked the Earth. It was then, for the first time in a a very long time, that Death cracked a grin. It was time then. The next moment, she vanished from the hospital, her reapers could finish the job. For now, it was time to greet the arch angel.

Shadow:

Alora’s jaw muscles tightened as she tried to conceal her frustration. She knew she was no match for this being, but she couldn’t just leave him here to ruin whatever he wanted. She glanced down at the dying grass around his feet and stepped back unconsciously. She frowned, angry at herself for being such a coward.
“You know, you could just leave. Everything here is already dying, so why do you have to make it worse? And I’m not afraid of you and your ‘warnings.’ “
She said, feeling the need to let him know that she wasn’t scared. Suddenly she heard Michael’s voice in her head and stood up a little straighter thanks to his rallying words. She spread her wings again and folded her arms across her chest, subtly mimicking the Horseman. “You may be more powerful than me but if you know what is good for you, you will leave at once. There has already been enough death in this place.”

Axel:

“I do not do this intentionally. It is only how I am, as long as I am around things will either and die. Whether anyone likes it or not.” He stated firmly. Keeping his emotions in check as he stared down the angel. “There is nothing anyone can do to stop me either. I will drain all of life for as long as I am in this world.”
A shiver ran down his spin as he suddenly sensed something far away. One wicked, one divine. His attention broke from the angel to stare off into the distance. “Is it nearing the time already? This is most exciting.” He muttered to himself. “Try as you might to stop this angel, but there is nothing you can do alone. It is best you follow orders like a good little servant of him and hope for whatever outcome you wish to befall humanity.”

Diamond:

War stopped. He swore someone shouted his name. He wouldn’t normally give a damn, but something about the call, it’s demonic nature, made him feel compelled to stop in his tracks. The voice was one he recognized, but he wasn’t sure why. Was it that of an important demon? It had to be, but which one? It couldn’t be Lucifer… War decided to seek out this powerful voice. The Horseman turned around and began making his way through the now blood soaked streets. He was drawn to this voice.

War picked his way through the chaos as the war he had started in the seedy part of town. War found himself walking down a street directly towards a motel. Outside the motel was a woman, no, not a woman, a demon. A specific demon, one War felt he should know. The name Eve came to mind, but that was wrong. War walked closer. It was clear to him that this demon had power. Another name came to mind:

“Lilith,” said the horseman, still in human form, as he approached the female, “Your name is Lilith.” War looked her up and down. He felt like he was going to feel some sort of wrath for approaching the demoness, “The first wife of Adam. Interesting. As you know, I am War.”

Then it hit War. He was here, no, they were here. “I’m sure you have some thing to say to me, but something important is happening… It appears Michael and Lucifer are out and about,” War looked Lilith directly in the eyes. He held out his hand, “Care to go on a ride with me? Or you could punch me and I can leave. Up to you really.”

Eve:

“Yes they are here. Who else but those two emanate that ridiculous amount of ying-yang D-day power, yet can cross in one piece into this plan of existence?” Lilith grumbled more of a statement then a question. She hated Micheal and though she had respect for Lucifer his opinion on the equality of the sexes could do with some evening out in her humble opinion. Raising a brow at him she watched as he extended his hand to her and crossed her arms as she glared up at him,

“If punching you is all the revenge I get for you ruining my playground then I suppose there is no point in even wasting my energy on it.” She replied keeping her arms crossed her blood red lips snarling up at him. She hated being told what to do, and even with the options offered she knew she really had no choice as thanks to him all her local food sources were quickly killing each other all around her.

“Keep your horse.” She said with a sigh and snapped out her wings ripping right through the back of her jacket.

“Just lead the way.” She finished her large wings pushing her off the ground and up so she was at least a good four feet above the Horseman.

Azure:

After giving his motivational speech, Michael started moving around. He was searching for Death. If he wanted to end this madness as soon as possible, he needed to find Death and convince her to cooperate, in one way or another. He didn’t know how, but he had to try. For the sake of humanity, one of God’s dearest creations.

While searching for Death, Michael desintegrated whatever lesser demon he saw or felt close by, using divine light. The Pale Horseman wasn’t the type of entity he could simply detect. If Death didn’t want to be detected, then even Michael would have a hard time.

At a certain point the archangel stopped teleporting, or running. He streightened his back and shouted: ”Death, I wish to speak with you!”. His shout was on a frequency which no mortal could perceive, not even with tools. Michael then stood still and awaited her. Meanwhile, a few demons were lurking around, waiting to take Michael down with a sneak attack. ”Do you demons honestly belive I can’t detect you?” he asked them, calmly. The beasts were surprised. They clearly underestimated the archangel. They were not stupid though. They were around 30, but they knew that they weren’t strong enough to face an archangel in a direct confrontation, so they attempted to flee. ”I stand for the Light!” said Michael, while pointing upwards. Many rays of light came from the sky and smited the demons. Michael continued to wait for Death.

Leggo:

The best way to call Death is cause death you know.”

If one could ever detect humor in the horseman’s voice, it would’ve been in that moment. With that voice came the usual chill in the air and the appearance of the petite pale woman standing behind the arch angel as he killed the demons before her. Since of course they were creatures Lucifer created and birthed and they come from Hell they did not have souls that she claimed, so simply to appearance of death was enough to cause her appearance…that and she had been searching out Michael for herself. Death stood there in silence after she spoke, silver eyes searching over the angel as she awaited his big speech on how she should spare the human race.

Ha!

It was almost enough to make her grin again. Both Michael and lucifer both would try their damnedest to get her to sway towards their opinions and wishes, but it’d be in vain. However, she’s let the arch angel speak his piece, even Death needed some entertainment now and again.

I don’t have much patience angel. Speak.”

Shadow:

Well then, maybe you should leave. Go to the desert or something of that nature. I’m sure you would love it there.”
Alora said, beginning to lose her patience. Usually she would be perfectly fine debating all day with someone, but the growing patch of dead grass around the man was making her a bit nervous. She stepped back again but continued her defiant stance. She frowned slightly as she caught the last part of what he mumbled to himself. Anything that excited this dangerous man probably wasn’t going to be good. She tried to keep from replying to his last comment but the words just flew right out.
“I’m not alone and I’m not simply a ‘good little servant following orders.’ And if you think for one moment that you will win, then you are horribly mistaken. We will not stop fighting until the last of us is dead and we have powers you can only dream of. Now, thanks to you, I am feeling angry. So in all honesty, if you want to leave fully intact, you should leave now.”

Axel:

“I would be purposeless in such a place…And I would prefer to have a reason to live than wander aimlessly and wonder for what reason I existed. It’s more…comforting, Even for a being like me.” He sighed. Turning his gaze back to her.
“And I am sorry if I angered you too much. I did not intend on sounding insulting. It may be surprising to you, but I have yet to choose a side. I am seeing how things play out before I decide. So it is even possible that we may end up allies.” His arms dropped to his sides as she became more threatening. “Go ahead and attack me if you wish. It would only leave us both weakened for a while. I highly doubt you want that.”

Scythe:

Gabriel sighed as he held the throat of yet another demon, glancing bored at his nails while the vile thing squirmed in his grasp, struggling to escape. “W-who are you?” It hissed. “No human is this strong!” Gabriel finally glanced up from his nails and smiled sweetly at the thing. “Who ever said I was human?” He asked, before swiftly ending the creature’s life. “Bye bye, buddy.”

Gabriel walked away from the lifeless body that dropped to the ground, slumped over. The eyes looked like they’d been burned out and black whisps of smoke rose out the mouth.”Disgusting things. Lucie had always been more classy. Wonder what happened…” Gabriel let his thoughts wander as he walked out the now deserted ally way he’d allowed himself to be backed up into and looked up at the sun, eyes thoughtful. Strange things were going on. He didn’t know what it was, however. He’d been out of the loop in Angelic and Demonic news for centuries. Usually it was a good thing but now, Gabriel felt he really need to know what was happening.

A sudden chill ran up Gabriel’s spine, causing him to shiver. Normally, he’d think none of it but it was a relatively warm day. There wasn’t much wind and the sun was pleasantly warm. He looked around, scanning the people who were around him before finally spotting a very suspicious looking person. From that distance, he could still see her amazingly blue eyes and unnaturally pale skin. Gabriel had his suspicions about who it was but he prayed to his Father that he was wrong. If Death was here, the others wouldn’t be too far behind

Razor:

You could never say that Pestilence was the sociable type. Sure, he liked to get into a crowd to blend in, simply to be able to spread his deadly diseases with the slightest brush of his hand, or even just by coughing without covering his mouth. A loner by most accounts, who was usually followed up by Death -as his deeds would lead to the need for the blue eyed bitch. Death had a coolness about her, though he found that hidden beneath that pale exterior was someone that did have a little compassion. It made them both like night and day, and while she may not find favor in his activities, she had to admit, it kept her busy.

Having ambled out of the hospital with red shiny marks around his eyes and nose, he found his way over to his beaten up Ford in the parking lot. A real crap piece of automobile history, with its noxious fumes, that filled the air. The interior was like a rubbish dump. Flies and other insects making their homes within discarded meal boxes and cartons that lay strewn in the back and the passenger side. Fumbling for his keys, he unlocked the car door, reefing it open and then sliding in behind the wheel. For a good minute or two, he just sat there as though trying to decide just where to head to next, to continue this terrible spree of spreading sickness. A movie theater perhaps. There was nothing quite like a captive audience. Pestilence started up the engine, that spluttered angrily into life. The tail pipes releasing large black clouds of carbon monoxide – the car had to be a diesel, for it smelt foul. That was part of why the horseman loved it so. It was foul and disgusting and a danger to the environment, like him.

Cruising out of the parking lot, and nearly hitting a poor pregnant lady being pushed in a wheelchair across a zebra crossing, Pestilence turned up the radio and it cranked out a heavy metal hit, as he took to the main road of the city. A bobble head of Lucifer, of all things was bobbing its head in time to the music, which made the ride more enjoyable. Pestilence was never really a fan of Lucifer….or the other winged weirdos. To him, his business was efficient, and in times a good way to lower the world population, which was way too big to the resources of the planet. In his mind, they should celebrate Pestilence, for his deeds. A ticket tape parade possibly. Another chance to spread his spores of death.

Driving down the road, he then spotted Death walking along the side of the footpath. Where was her steed? Pulling over to cruise along where she walked, he sung out.

“Walking the streets, Death? Didn’t I give you enough to do already?” You could see the flies buzzing around Pestilence, and smell the foulness of his car. He really was gross.

Kingdom of Greed – Castle

As Aria might have said in this current moment, they were finally home at last, there and ready to go back to the castle, to meet Mammon once again; to explain to him what had happened in their absence. It was a pleasing thing to the girl, even if she didn’t show it right now, the girl was definitely excited to finally be home; even on her most hyper of days, this woman was calm and always ready for anything. She kept her cool because of the demonic blood within her, afraid that if she ever lost control that she would be consumed by the power and it would take her over; it would leave her elder sister… unprotected and uncontrolled. After everything that had happened while they were gone, one thing stood out to the half demon. The things that had happened while they were in that land filled with snow.

https://i2.wp.com/i.gyazo.com/1b76625a0f9b2f7ed19e0715f1826654.png

That image was within her mind easily, and she would never forget it. Aria had unloaded everything, her entire mental breakdown state was unleashed on a group of hellhounds all at once, a massacre. In the end the girl was just left only to sit on the snow. Shaking her head at her sister, who had, while her younger sibling had been in thought, robbed a store of their cookies, Masumi resisted the urge to smack her across the back of the head. Mostly because she was wanting this day to go without incident, of course the elder sister had another plan sometimes. They soon reached the castle, and the girl who had the mentality of a sixteen year old seemed really hyper about it, and had already took off. Ugh, great. Dashing forward with her massive inhuman speed, she followed the girl as she moved to keep up. With the girl moving at such a high speed, Masumi was beginning to think it was about time she learned something that let her keep up easier. As soon as she got in though… oh the sight made her freeze, and within a moment some poor soul was trying to enter the ballroom at the same moment.

https://i0.wp.com/i.gyazo.com/888b699301a297eff0ff4939a52c47fb.png

In that very instant, Masumi shot forward and would have slammed into the girl with a flying tackle, knocking her well out of the ballroom before she would have grabbed her hand and pulled her further away from the ballroom. The only explanation that she may have given was simple, putting up a hand she merely rose it slightly, freezing and then finishing.

Masumi Miyazaki: “Just… no.”

Treasures of Greed Theme: Take a Hint!

Meanwhile… as the girl in the ballroom unleashed everything, the dark aura didn’t affect her that much, but that was only because her own power seemed to be of the same nature at this point; with two psychotic, sadistic maniacs in one room against one opponent, you’d think it couldn’t get much worse. You were wrong to think so. Ayana’s cannon transformed itself as she jumped into the air, hovering there as electrical energy began coursing around her and the newly transformed cannon. As the girl finished off her third clip, Ayana was moving right over his head as she pointed the cannon at his head; intending to “return” the gift with interest.

“Thor’s Cannon!”

Once she had unleashed all of that power, it was obvious this was on a different level than her previous attacks. The payload of kinetically enhanced divine lightning would have slammed the Jabberwock with so much force that it would have slammed his head down into the ground with earth shattering force while paralyzing his body once again from the electrical currents that would have been unloaded into his body once more. Ayana was grinning widely as she did, obviously enjoying it as she went to truly just show him why he should have bowed down before.

Mariela felt kind of bad for leaving the dwarves there – but that thing was still in the ballroom and she still had her family, Alice and Scar to worry about. She’d go back later, but at the moment, she really needed to get up there to the Jabberwocky. She ran down the hallway, armor on, sword in one hand and the tablet in the other, running as fast as she could – only to get stopped. By… a floating cat head? Mariela stopped in her tracks, giving a confused look from behind the helmet. “Chesire cat?” she said out loud. Like… the one from the Alice in Wonderland story. She couldn’t question once more, before something was thrown into the cat’s mouth, and it sputtered and coughed, then shrinked away, becoming the size of a small cat.

He was… good looking, she’d give him that. She gave a nod of thanks, before turnring around and running off again. She’d thank him later… and also ask who he was. Because that was, like, need to know. She had stepped foot into the ballroom, seeing the same girl as before as well as another walk in. With… cookies? And said cookies got crushed by the thing’s tail. Now… the girl seemed unhappy about said cookies getting crushed. Before she had a chance to react, Mariela was tackled… by another girl. What the fuck?! Where the hell did she come from?!

“Hey!” Mariela exclaimed after she was tackled to the ground, lifting up the helmet to reveal her face. Her hand was grabbed, and she had to hurry up and gather the tablet and the sword, because the girl had grabbed her hand and was pulling her away. “What the fuck?!” the girl exclaimed. She pulled her arm away and glared. “Who the hell are you?” she asked. Mariela looked up when the first girl shouted “Thor’s Cannon”. She didn’t know any of these people. What the fuck was going on?

Why were they even here? One girl girl bursts through the window in lightning, the other one knocks the door down, and then she didn’t even see this one come in. Like… at all. At least not until she was tackled. “Who are those other two?”she said. “And why did you tackle me?! I have that thing to kill, you know!” She did remember seeing the girl before, a long time – when Mammon was alive. But again, that was a while ago. And even then, she was only a healer at the time. She didn’t know much about them. But three random girls just ran into her ballroom and she had no clue who any of them are.

Kingdom of Greed – Castle

When Marcus thought he had entered into Greed at just the right time, he was soon to realize that he had missed a very special event. After just saving the Princess from the wily Cheshire cat, who the Black warlock had recognized from a children’s fable, the Princess was hit in a full on tackle by another female. One with flowing black hair. It was not like she was hitting her to do her harm, but get her clear out of the way. As strange as that may have been. From what Marcus could see, two others were fighting of all things….a Jabberwocky. Right there in the main ballroom. Something else that Marcus noticed was all the red and black playing card knights. As though made of paper standing around the outside of the battle, but not actually contributing to it. Like stranded spectators. There was so much damage….broken shards from the chandelier, the broken cookies…and then…Marcus spied the broken mirror. For a moment, Marcus stood frozen for he recognized the framing and knew immediately whose it was. The fact that it was destroyed and all the creatures were still in the ballroom meant that something had happened, but what? With all the lightning and fire power being dished out in the ballroom, the Warlock looked around his surroundings in the hallway…and happened to spy a hat. Sitting on the ground near a wall. Suspicious of this he walked over, while the Princess was asking her assailant who she was and what the hell was happening in her ballroom.

https://i1.wp.com/24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m368t8gWa21ruih18o1_500.gif

Marcus crouched down and picked up the hat. Underneath the hat was a pocket watch. Strange. The watch had a strange marking on the face, and when he pressed the clip it popped open only to show that it only had half the numbers that it should have, and the small hand was moving too fast. The warlock frowned, and started to rise to his feet. The Jabberwocky…..the cat….the cards….the hat…and the pocket watch. What did this all mean?

https://i0.wp.com/38.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lfptxmfhGB1qdnmgfo1_500.gif

Hearing more destruction coming from the ballroom, the Warlock went the opposite way…heading for the Library. He needed to see, if what he thought was happening, really was.

In the ballroom, the table of cookies had been smashed by the swipe of the Jabberwocky’s tail, when it tried to make the attack on the lightning sprite with the massive release of the spear like spines. The girl was surprisingly nimble, and had managed to jump well clear of the tail attack, allowing her to be free from being hit. Angered by this, he was about to open his mouth to launch another purple haze of power, when he was struck under the throat by the attack of the newest kid on the block. Another girly come to try her luck, and with the distraction caused by the arm cannon wielding girl, it was all too easy for the jabberwocky to be hit from under and have his head pound the roof. This would cause large cracks, that ripped along the roof itself and undermined the superstructure – in other words, it was going to bring the roof down on top of them at this rate. The Jabberwocky’s ability to withstand multiple attacks was leaving him drained though. He howled and roared in protest, as the plucky Ayana was enjoying this torrent of electrical super attacks on the mammoth beast.

The Jabberwocky’s whole body slammed onto the ground with a sickening crunch. The paralyzing attack having now taken affect, and the soldiers all gasped to see the red queen’s prize pet almost defeated. Course, it could not be killed without the use of the vorpal sword. The large beast writhed and spasmed, though its eyes continued to glow fiercely.

“She has done what the Red Queen could not.” The Jabberwocky’s head fell to its side as though passing out from the pain. What did he mean by the riddle you might ask? The answer….was in the library.

Kingdom of Greed – Castle

Aria’s roars were cut off as the other girl blasted the beasts head from above. Quickly the crimson coated girl ducked out of the way of the massive falling head, just barely missing being crushed. For a moment she waited to see if the Jabberwocky would get up once more, but it seemed as though the abuse it had taken was finally taking its toll on the body. With a shrill, and demented giggle, Aria pulled back her hood, and moved towards the beast. At this point one of her pupils was larger than the other, giving her an even more demented appearance

Once she was close enough she slammed the heel of her boot down on the breasts head, glaring at it as though it were prey. Her tip of her scythe blade had slipped under the lip of the Jabberwocky, and was pulling its mouth open some now.

“Not so proud now are you?” She growled as she wrenched its mouth open with the scythe.

Once it was open she looked around for something to hold it open, but she didn’t see anything that wasn’t completely eviscerated from the fight. That was until her eyes fell upon the card knights. They all seemed weak and flimsy to her, but they would have to do.

“Hey! Get your lazy asses over here and hold this open!” she yelled at them. These knights though were under the influence of her aura though, and were frozen with fear at the sight before them. That was until she used her free hand to toss a loose stone at one of them.

When it hit, it seemed to snap them back to reality. With slight hesitation that they might be the next to fall under the blade, or the cannon of these powerful females, they rushed to do as they were told. It took the entire deck of the reds to hold the mouth open, but once it was Aria reached her hand into the maw of the beast, and pulled its tongue out. Not the saliva covered appendage was laying limply from the creatures mouth.

It was a pronged tongue, and was very sticky, but Aria cared little about this. As she stood there, she raised her scythe far above her head, and then swung it down. The blade sliced through the flesh of the tongue, and it fell from its owners mouth, completely detached now.

Though it was paralyzed, the beast still roared from the pain of the dismemberment. It tried to speak, but every time it moved its mouth, purple blood flew through the air, coating the knight, Ayana, and Aria in the vile liquid. Though this just seemed to enrage the girl more.

“No! Where is the red?! I must see the red!!!” she screamed at the top of her lungs.

With a swift movement she took her sythe up once more, and moved to the side of the creatures head, near its right eye. The beast’s eyes were now wide open, and was bloodshot with the pain its body surged with.

“Maybe here! Is the red here?” she asked.

She quickly held her scythe like a golf club, and then swung it down, gouging into the beasts skull. The bastard roared with pain again, and this time it was red blood that flowed. Why was it different than in the mouth? Aria didn’t know, and she could give less of a fuck. She simply began laughing as though it was all a big joke.

“Yes!!!! That’s it!!!!! Cry me a river!!!!” she howled.

She then zipped to the other side of the head, and sunk her scythe into its other eye, laughing all the time. Even as she was covered in a shower of sticky red liquid. She seemed as though she couldn’t be any happier right now.

The cat demon had to let out a further sigh as she slapped one palm against her face from her sister’s rage at the moment, that one was definitely angry at this point, and it wasn’t one of her minority rages either; this time she was in full run. The only thing the younger sibling could do at the moment was just sigh, and facepalm of course, at the fact that her sister was going berserk already the moment they managed to get back home. With the woman she had tackled and pulled away from the ballroom angry with her and asking a bunch of questions, she decided to answer those as her sister went and tortured the incapacitated beast.

Masumi Miyazaki: “I ask that you relax, getting worked up is only going to hurt your decision making in this situation. The girl in red and currently laughing at the top of her lungs, while torturing that big dragon-like creature, is my elder twin; by a few hours. The other one, I have no idea, I recommend you ask her. Now, excuse me for a moment.”

https://i2.wp.com/i.gyazo.com/7ac53a38fead9fb43f7833c036084fcc.png

She seemed almost robotic with the way that she said it, quickly speaking the truth and getting the point out there before she turned on her heel and moved in a blur, running into the entrance of the ballroom as she drew her sword and let it shift into gun mode. Hurling the thing and forming an extending ribbon which further extended to the point she wanted it; Masumi then would have jerked the ribbon made just perfectly so that it would have pulled the trigger, causing a gunshot which would have propelled it at Aria. Should it have been left to continue, the move would have caused the weapon to wrap around the elder sister’s stomach, only to have Masumi jerk, hard, and knock her on her ass to pull her away from the beast. With the level of strength that she put into it, the elder would have been pulled hard enough that she skid backwards and stopped at the feet of the younger; who would have knelt down and spoke at that moment in a much softer and more emotional type of voice, a soothing one.

Masumi Miyazaki: “Aria, enough. Snap out of it, I’ll get you a new cookie later. First we have business to take care of.”

Meanwhile, of course, Ayana was landing and had already began building up a massive amount of kinetic energy into the cannon, intending to shoot every ounce that she could straight down his throat; no way in hell was she stopping now. Someone had to say the incantation to stop her, otherwise she’d keep going in this collapsing room. Well… normally anyway, instead Ayana actually dodged several pieces of the falling ceiling, jumping this way and that as she ended up outside of the ballroom; but she was still charging that cannon again.

Once Aria had calmed down and was back to normal, the younger sibling would have looked to the girl and spoke once again, catching glimpse of a male heading in the direction of… the library if she remembered correctly.

Masumi Miyazaki: “… Who are you, and why do you have Mammon’s sword? Where is he? Also, who was that man, and should we be following him?”

Oh… the poor witch had so much explaining to do on their trip to the library when it happened.

Relax? She wanted her to relax? She was just tackled by some strange woman she didn’t know, with two other girls attacking the Jabberwocky. How was she supposed to relax? Mariela took a deep breath, sheathing the sword on her side as she took deep breaths. The girl began explaining everything, and Mariela watched her and listened.“It’s a Jabberwocky. Not a dragon.” she said, recognizing it from the Alice in Wonderland book. Being caught up in a thousand things at once, it didn’t quite hit her at the moment that everything happening came from the Alice in Wonderland book. Alice, Scar being the Hatter, the Jabberwocky, the cards. The cat. She didn’t quite realize all of this yet.

As quick as the girl had tackled her, she had quickly left without another word. This allowed Mariela time to look around. The cards were still there, spread out all over the place. As she watched the Jabberwocky, the girl in red had… cut it’s tongue off. Holy shit. She then proceeded to gouge out his eyes. Holy shit.“Looks like I can’t question it for answers…” she mumbled under her breath. She then saw the broken glass shards on the ground – and her face fell to concern. She guessed it was from the mirror – it had to have been. But… it was just a guess. She turned her head to the other side of the hallway, only to see a brief glimpse of the guy from earlier picking up a hat. Scar’s hat. “Shit…” Mariela mumbled under her breath. Scar never went anywhere without his hat. That meant something bad happened. She didn’t see him pick up the watch. She finally remembered the Chesire cat. All of these things were from Wonderland. Wonderland was coming into Hell, but that didn’t explain where Scar and her family ran off to unless they were inWonderland. But they couldn’t be. Maybe Scar just dropped his hat in a hurry, but Mariela was starting to slightly panic.

The beast passed out unconcious after saying the words “she has done what the Red Queen could not”, and Mariela tilted her head. What did that mean? She remembered the Red Queen was Lydia – who she killed. That means Wonderland didn’t have a Red Queen. But what was the Red Queen supposed to do? And who did it instead? So many questions answered, and so very little time to get it.

The girl in red was saved. But that left the lightning one. Quickly, Marie pulled out the tablet from under her arm, looking down at it. Good news is, the girl was out of the ballroom. Bad news is, the roof was about to collapse any minute, and if she didn’t say this incantation and stop her from whatever she is doing, the roof would collapse on the girl. Mariela looked down at the tablet, before speaking the incantation: “The trickery of Loki undone, the skill of Thor turned to strength, the all seeing eye of the All Father opened; knowing the desire of her heart. By decree of these words, the seal is done, and the Valkyrie shall be forever masked with a power greater than hers.” After speaking it, she quickly moved, racing in the girl’s direction. Without knowing if it worked or not, she grabbed the girl’s arm and quickly began dragging her away towards the other two.

“… Who are you, and why do you have Mammon’s sword? Where is he? Also, who was that man, and should we be following him?” The girl in black spoke as Marie was catching her breath. She quickly handed the tablet back to the lighning girl, before taking her helmet off as she looked in the direction the boy had walked too. “We should be, yes. He has something I need. I don’t know who he is.” she spoke, and quickly began walking in that direction. “Follow me. I’ll explain on the way.” she said, and she waited for them to catch up with her. “I’m Mariela, the new Princess of Greed.”she said, speed-walking to get to the library. “Mammon is no longer. He died in a war against Wrath.” she continued.“His spy and top advisor, Lydia, took over after his death, and she promoted me from a healer to a Dutchess.” she spoke.

“Unfortunately, she ended up turning into an overly-ambitious bitch and I had to kill her.” Mariela then said, taking another breath. “I then took over as ruler of Greed.” she said, turning to look at the three girls, before looking at the twins.“As you will soon find out, I’m not like either of them.” she spoke, still speed walking to the library. “Names and explanations would be nice.” she said, turning to the lightning girl. “Especially you. Who are you?” she spoke.

They made it to the library, and Mariela swung the door open, catching Marcus right as he entered. “Hey!” she called out, slightly jogging towards him. “Thanks for the help earlier.” she started. “But who are you? And why are you here? And do you know anything about what’s going on? Like why Wonderland is in Hell?” she asked. She looked back to the three girls, motioning with her hand for them to follow.

Aira was now coated in blood, laughing like a maniac. It seemed as though she was enjoying herself waaaaay too much. That was until there was a sudden burst of sound. Before she knew it her sister’s ribbon was wrapped around her tightly. When she was yanked back, she struggled. Fortunately though Masumi had also pulled here away from a falling piece of the roof. Even though it did not hit the elder twin, the piece did break itself upon the head of the unconscious Jabberwocky.

The bloodied girl continued to struggle for a moment before hearing her sister’s soft voice in her ear. The mere sound was calming the girl. The black aura around her began to fade until it vanished completely within her body. Even her eyes returned to their normal shapes, and for a moment she just kind of blinked for a moment, looking at the destroyed ballroom. She then turned to her sister, and smiled wide, he child-like attitude returning once more.

“Hey sis. Where are we?” she asked with her bubbly voice.

https://i2.wp.com/i.gyazo.com/e4046ef920a9cfb5486fc61e160b4106.png

She slowly stood up, and unwrapped herself from the ribbon of her sister’s weapon. She seemed to have completely forgotten anything about what had happened since her cookies had been destroyed. Though she did not seem to react the same as the thought of her cookies being destroyed came to mind. Most would assume that she would return to her feral state, but she simply looked sad right now…. That was until she spied the cookies on a table nearby. They were simply being asked to be eaten…. Literally.

Aria cared little about the conversation behind her, running to the cookies, and piling as many of the as she could into her arms. She was about to bite into one, but then her eyes fell upon the Jabberwocky that was passed out nearby. She had no idea that she was the one who had caused it so much pain, and she felt sorry for the beast. So instead of eating the cookie herself, she walked up to the beast, and opened its mouth a little.

“You need these more than I do.” she said as she tossed one of the cookies to the back of the dragon-like creature’s throat.

She did not what the cookies would do. She simply wanted to give the monster a sweet treat. That was just how she was. That was when she heard that there was a new Princess of Greed. With a gasp she dropped her cookies, and skipped over to the girl. Quickly she grabbed both of her hands, and began jumping up and down.

“YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!! Mammon was so mean to us. I’m glad there is a new princess!” she chirped gleefully as she now hopped around the girl.

http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/rwby/images/0/00/RubyGIF1.gif/revision/latest?cb=20130816174802

Soon the girl ran off though to chase after a man. How typical. She giggled to herself as she watched the girl charge off, soon following her lead. She skipped like a small child, and hummed the entire way, sometimes singing about a “Funny Farm”. Weird….

“The princess wants a man. How funny. She seems a little young for that though. What happened to the days of Chastity?” The elder twin mused aloud, most likely drawing the attention of those around her.

As they walked though Aria stopped, seeing a small cat hiding under a table. Her eyes grew wide, and she became giddy.

“Kitty!” she yelled before charging off after the stripped, and grinning cat. Was this girl really the same that had just been one of the scariest sadists to ever grace the halls of greed? It was hard to tell sometimes….

You know, normally when people go and do things like that, destroying a ballroom I mean, you’d think that the person who owned said place would be so pissed off they’d think about nothing else; but at the same time Ayana was a bit satisfied that that wasn’t the case in this situation, in fact it seemed the contrary as she had more to think about than just the destroyed ballroom. Ayana rolled her neck as the seal was redone, kind of glad she was finally back in a stable state of mind, but the problem of the matter being that she had just went ballistic on the sucker with that form; she probably could have stayed in her most natural form, but she hadn’t and that was the issue there. Bah, oh well. Ayana looked a lot more calm now though, definitely psychopathically sadistic or anything of that sort wasn’t present, going from those two this was a bit extreme; but it was better than her trying to murder everything and everyone.

https://i2.wp.com/i.gyazo.com/089a9d893ae20dd7c42fb41cfbddc7f3.png

While the Princess had introduced herself, Ayana just listened in silent thought, and the same could have been said for Masumi who looked very… very calm considering what had just happened. While her sister went after the cookies, Masumi was looking at the Princess with what could have been a monotonous gaze that didn’t show any emotion; when asked to follow, she did, however, after a few turns in the corridors Aria ended up dashing into a different room. Masumi let out a sigh and ducked into the room herself, and would have grabbed Aria by her hood and dragged her from the room, but not before grasping the cat and placing him in her arms. With a murmured focus, and be nice to the cat, Masumi would have indeed dragged her sister along; but would have let her go about halfway in a sign of trust that also said not to run off. Looking to the Princess as they walked, Masumi replied and decided to introduce both herself and her sister. At which, Ayana had the same courtesy after.

Masumi Miyazaki: “Masumi Miyazaki, this is my twin Aria Miyazaki; she’s the elder by a few hours but… I’m sure you’ll figure out soon enough who keeps who out of trouble. We have been absent from Greed for a couple of years, last we were here, the sexist bastard Mammon was in charge; a change in rulership may have been overdue if we went through two rulers in two short years. …Well then. Is there anything that you need, Princess?”

Ayana Hashimoto: “Ayana Hashimoto… I’m a Valkyrie, I was sent to Helheim, ahem, Hell, in order to gain control of my powers; namely the power that you just resealed away. I’ll explain more in detail when it seems we aren’t being heavily pressed in time.”

With that the two had continued on in a sort of silence as they all rushed to the library, seemingly with time being of the essence; but oh how little that they knew that was true. How little did they truly know, for time was slowly ticking away and they had no idea as of yet. Upon entering the library, Masumi and Ayana didn’t hesitate to follow her in, and Masumi made a quick wave to Aria to make sure that she definitely entered the library; they couldn’t afford to let her be staying on her own. And that was only one of the many things happening, for they had to wait on his response to all of her questions.

Kingdom of Greed – Castle

Greed was known for having the best of everything. Mammon, the previous Prince made sure that his library stocked every book in history, and always first editions. With what Marcus had witnessed out in the ballroom, and the clues of the hat and the strange fob watch, the young warlock was starting to gather clues of what might be happening. Everything pointed to a particular children’s story. Known as Alice in Wonderland. Written by a fellow of the name Lewis Carroll. A genius, whose story was much about a change in the moral values in a world that have strange creatures in power over others. Was it any coincidence that it was this very tale that perhaps had found its opposites in this world of Hell? Was it possible that the characters in the book, had a shadow version of themselves here? What was the link? Why was the hat left behind?

With the attacks and fights going on in the ballroom, it gave Marcus a chance to investigate for himself, if the watch face was a clue to the deletion of time. There was no mistaking that time itself was being messed with. Strange and unusual happenings were taking place all over, and from what Marguerite had said of the new Princess of Greed’s actions at Witches Circle, that even she was affected in some way. No witch in their right mind would dare refuse the offer of help from someone like Lavinia, let alone threaten the entire kingdoms of hell all by herself.

Walking along the line of many rows of book shelves, the Warlock knew he had to think fast, and use his magic rather than trying to find the book by more mortal means. Releasing a black mist, that had finger like ends, he said simply.

“Carroll, Lewis…Alice in Wonderland.”

The fingers snapped, and the mist rolled on down the aisles, one after another as Marcus placed the hat and the fob watch down on the nearest desk. It was then that Mariela and her new chums decided to enter the library. Talk about timing.

“Hey!”

“Oh hello.” Marcus was not rude, but he didn’t stop what he was doing either. Magically whipping up a whisky decanter and matching glasses. He kindly helped himself to a drink, as the girl continued on.

“But who are you? And why are you here? And do you know anything about what’s going on? Like why Wonderland is in Hell?”

So many questions, and of course Mariela brought up Wonderland.

“I was going to ask you the same thing, but I decided to do a little investigating myself.” The Warlock poured himself a drink, while in the background, the mist hand returned with the first edition copy of Alice in Wonderland and held it aloft between the Princess and the Warlock. The new battle babes would have seen it as well.

Talking to the hand of dark mist, Marcus said with a smile. “Thank you, would have taken me ages.” The book then fell to the desk and the pages spun open, but if one cared to look, half the words were missing. “Well well…look at that.”Snapping his fingers, Marcus said to the mist hand…“Grab me another book of fiction…anything.” The fingers snapped, and the mist took off again, so Marcus could go back to his introduction. Taking a sip of his whiskey and smacking his lips he continued.

“The name is Marcus Black….I believe you have met my hapless brother, Raul. He…created that mirror that has smashed into oblivion in your ballroom. As to who sent me…that would have been my Mother, Marguerite. Bloody woman is obsessed with your kingdom, lord knows why. Tried to marry Raul off to Lydia. Course…he had to be a man whore and knock up some bandit. And….” Marcus smiled at this part. “You happened to end Lydia. Good one!” he gave a thumbs up before the mist came back with another book, that fell down on the table and opened, to show….all the pages were blank. It was now becoming apparent what was happening.

“This isn’t good.” Marcus said almost to himself, but it would have been heard by the group of girls. Raising his head, he then said what he believed was happening. “Someone is erasing stories….books. Quite the clever plan really.” he picked up the empty book and flipped through the pages, before slamming it shut.

“A very clever way of erasing a potential champion, and using a distraction to stop her from seeing it for herself.”Marcus stared at Mariela and then the others.

“If this can erase a story, not only are those in it in danger….another book is too. Probably the only one that can defeat the evil. Gee, and I thought I was bad. Whoever planned this from the start was insanely clever. Or a madman.”

Marcus opened the book of Alice again, and you could see that there was an outline of the picture of the Jabberwocky, but it was fading….fading from existence.

Down in the ballroom, there was a god awful creak coming from the roof, while on the ground, the paralyzed Jabberwocky was shrinking due to the eat me cookie that was thrown into its mouth by one of the battle babes. Unable to speak…unable to see….its fate was about to be sealed.

After calling him as if it’s the only name in the world besides hers, finally he appeared in her sight. She was aching, in pain, in fear and the cold. “WHAT?!” he was pissed, anyone would know with his tone but what can she do? She’s freaking scared. “I-I…”
“OH MY GOD!” she slowly looked to where he was looking and as she saw what is lying beneath her, her heart almost skipped a beat. Feeling the sticky blood still warm in her hands. Her hand started trembling… she doesn’t remember anything but she knows in the depths of her consciousness, it’s the first time that she saw a dead body. Hiccups started before her tears fall, “M-M..M.-” she mumbled with partial hiccups and trembling voice. She won’t scream, that won’t do a thing but more danger.

Razor:

Instinct to protect even in the event of being in serious pain moved Michael to try and pull Claire away from the terrible face. As he pulled her back, he could see the slick of fresh blood that was now coating Claire in a sticky mess. This would only add to the horror of the situation. The poor girl may have been brave and ballsy up to this point, but even he was afraid of what they had landed on. “I know…I know. Shhh..shh…come on.” She couldn’t get his name out, just the repeated M’s again. But it was the smattering of tears that showed that this was just too much for her to take in. Perhaps leaving that room wasn’t such a good idea after all.

Michael’s own body was now shaking. Most likely a mix of pain and shock, but he tried his best to soothe the girl’s mind as he continued to drag her to the other wall, as far from the body as he could get her. His right shoulder was now lopsided from his left, and while he wanted nothing more than to bang his shoulder back into place, he instead tried to comfort Claire.

“It’s…just a dead body. Can’t bite you.”

Jsmn:

She’s too much in shock, that she doesn’t mind that Michael dragged her out of there. Away from that terror. She braced herself, calming the thumping heart inside her chest but the tears won’t stop. She clenched her fists on her now surely stained with blood light dress. That’s the first time she noticed why she was cold, with this light dress, anyone would freeze in this place.

“It’s…just a dead body. Can’t bite you.” She knew what he meant and knew he was right. She looked at him, sniffing. “I’m cold…” she answered, rubbing her hands together. Now she knows, he’s not a bad guy actually he’s being considerate, even when she’s nothing but rude.

Razor:

The bite had gone out of Claire’s voice. She like he was genuinely scared of the position that they both found themselves in. As reality started to set in, that they were now in a dark hallway with what was a dead body, and no real lighting or sign of anyone else, Michael’s mind started to come to a very dramatic conclusion of where they were and what had happened. Piecing together the fact that they had been in a barricaded room, isolated from the outside – then something had happened to warrant them being put there. Though by whom and why, remained a mystery. Both of them had wounds and injuries that aside from his now dislocated shoulder, could not be explained, or even remembered. All they knew was their own names…their first names. But was that really who they were?

Why was a dead body outside the door to the darkened room? How long had it been there? And most importantly, who locked them away?

Hearing Claire say she was cold, Michael tried to pull her closer to him. Thinking that maybe his own body heat might help warm her just enough to help her, but at the same time, he knew that they couldn’t stay in this place. They needed to get out. They needed a plan.

Jsmn:

She flinched a little when Michael held her. Now having him closer, she could smell him. Aside from sweat, there is something more like a medicine. She know somewhere inside her, how medicine and chemical smell like. There is something with their smell, that makes her want to puke. She gently pushed him away “You don’t need to go that far. But thanks anyway…” She wiped the strands of her hair and tears off her face. Now looking at Michael, “Did you fell into something earlier? or knocked over? Like a liquid medicine or something like that?” She asked with inquiring eyes

Razor:

Michael’s attempt to help keep Claire warm only had her react as though he was trying something on. Like…that was the last thing on his mind right now. He rolled his eyes as she pushed herself away from him, and let out a sigh. Still feeling pain in nearly every part of his body. It was his shoulder that was really doing him harm though. Until it was popped back in his socket, he was enduring pain on the scale of 11/10. With her now off him to a degree, Michael pushed himself up awkwardly to standing, and then looked at either wall, to see which looked like it could take the force of his weight, when he tried to slam his shoulder back in. While he was sizing up a run, Claire had to ask something that was so out there, that it had him stop and think for a moment.

“Did you fell into something earlier? or knocked over? Like a liquid medicine or something like that?”

“I ran into the door, holding you. The only thing I can see that I might have rolled in was the blood of the dead guy.” Maybe his sense of smell was a bit out of whack, or he was too busy trying to deal with the pain he was in. Shaking his head, he went back to focusing on the wall. The thought of hitting it in the charge was making him nervous and he couldn’t deal with Claire’s questions on top of everything. With a loud roar, he charged the wall, and you could hear the sickening crunch then pop as his shoulder was slammed back into place. The pain….he couldn’t begin to explain, but there was a sweet relief that his shoulder was back where it should be. Leaning with perspiration running off his forehead, he wheezed as the strike took a lot out of him.

Placing an opened palm on the wall, he pushed himself away from the wall, leaving behind a purplish streak of a hand print. Was this the medicine that she inquired about?

Jsmn:

“I ran into the door, holding you. The only thing I can see that I might have rolled in was the blood of the dead guy.”
“No..think care-” before she could finish her sentence, Michael started running like a wild dog, towards what she lately known to be a wall just after the collision. After hearing like a crack sound, she pushed herself up. Running towards him, grabbing his arm (unfortunately the one which was just brought back together) “Are you out of your mind?!” She exclaimed almost biting her tongue. “What are you doing! What if you lost conscious here? That can’t happen..” she stopped before she could say her next words. That she would be scared without his active presence.

Razor:

“Are you out of your mind?!”

“ACK! LET GO OF MY ARM!”

Claire had to grab a hold of Michael’s arm, the one that was attached to the shoulder he just rammed back into its socket. His voice was shrill, as he tried to get her to let go. He knew what he was doing, trying to put it back in place, and he thought that her reaction was way over the top. Siting that the last thing she needed was for him to lose consciousness. Michael stared at her, wide eyed. Surely she understood that he couldn’t walk around with his arm hanging by a thread.

“I was fixing myself. This isn’t the first time I’ve popped it.”

A look washed over Michael’s face, as he said something that you would class as a memory. How he knew that, and nothing else made him feel uncomfortable. You could see the confusion in his eyes, as he tried to make sense of it all. Wiping his hand down the side of his shirt, he then looked left and right, trying to determine which way to go. They simply couldn’t stay here. Michael knew that there had to be a way to get out of this strange building and to find help.

Jsmn:

“ACK! LET GO OF MY ARM!”
She quickly let go, quite surprised with his reaction. She looked away, when he stared at her. “I was fixing myself. This isn’t the first time I’ve popped it.” She didn’t know, how would she know. He do things just as he wanted to, and there he hurt himself by doing so, and now she’s at fault for actually caring? “You should have asked for my help. I know I can do that…At least the pain won’t be that so painful..” she muttered. When she looked back at him, she saw the purplish stains on his clothes. “Stop…don’t move…”she said with her hand halfway to the slightly scattered stains on his clothes.

Razor:

Claire probably found Michael’s way of dealing with his own problems a bit much. For example, he tried to help her for the most part from the time that they woke up in the darkened room, but she gave him so much lip that his good intentions were being stomped on. He wasn’t a bad guy, quite the opposite. Just as much in the dark as she was about everything that had happened to them before they woke up. His overreaction to her touching his arm was like a knee jerk reaction, and not meant to upset her. He listened to her apologize, if you could call it that and then she must have seen something that caught her attention. Like a total derailment from the issue with his arm.

Claire moved her hand towards his shirt, and when Michael looked down, he then noticed the purplish stain that was on his shirt. It was the exact place where he wiped his hand. This caused him to raise his hand, and then it became clear that he must have placed his hand in some sort of liquid that was not blood at all. It didn’t smell like blood, or have the same coloring.

“What the hell is this?”

He turned over his wrist to see if it was on the back of his hand as well.

“You know how I thought that this…might be some sort of hospital?” Michael started. “I think it is. Or was.”

Michael then saw a colored number sign on the wall. It was a green three. So this must be the third floor. Michael then put his soiled hand up to Claire’s face.

“What does it smell like to you?”

Jsmn:

“What the hell is this?”
That’s what she wanted to know too. It obviously doesn’t seem like blood, is it what she smelled before? Medicine? What type of medicine would that be? She thought still looking at the stains.
“You know how I thought that this…might be some sort of hospital?”
“I think it is. Or was.”
Now, with the circumstances maybe he’s right and it’s stupid of her to made fun of his theory before. Still, her attention on the stains on his clothes. Then she snapped, as he put his hand almost inches away from her face.
“What does it smell like to you?”
“God! You don’t really listen! I just told you not to move and you kept on moving…” She exclaimed, now she sounds like a mother who kept on nagging her son about not being obedient. “What do you think of me some animal?” She murmured, almost pouting. “Now, I’ll hold your hand, Okay? Try not to make me kick you if you try that reaction earlier again with me…” She said, “Understood?” she asked.

Razor:

Michael’s face fell when Claire sounded off at him….again. It was just like when they had been in the darkened room at the beginning of this nightmare. By offering up his hand for her to smell, he was doing so to see if she could give him a clue as to what it was he had on it. But she yelled at him, her voice like that of a nagging mother to her son. It really wasn’t very nice. In fact, Michael cringed and his shoulders lowered just a touch. She begged the question that he considered her to be some kind of animal. That was the furthest idea from his mind. “No.” He answered, looking a bit upset that she’d even suggest it. She told him point blank that she was holding his hand from here on out. Michael wasn’t a kid, but he was starting to feel like one. Should he just give in and let her take charge? For now at least, he’d concede defeat.

“Yes Ma’am”

Jsmn:

She sighed, and gently held his hand. “What if it’s poison? you have too many open wounds…and you just carelessly scattered the liquid on your hand like this” She said carefully leaned her head towards his hand. “I just met you moments ago, but you’re all I have for now, I don’t want you dying stupidly like that” She added, then started sniffing. She stopped for a moment, surprised that she clearly remembers that smell. From before, she’s not sure but knew that scent was familiar and now that she could smell it clearly, she’ knows for sure what that liquid was. “Dermabond.” she said. “It’s dermabond…” she chuckled foolishly being over cautious over nothing serious.

Razor:

“It’s derma what?”

Michael had no idea what dermabond was. But from the reaction that Claire was experiencing, it wasn’t the dangerous substance that she thought it could have been at first. The young male continued to look puzzled, but he wasn’t about to raise his hand again, since Claire was liable to go off the deep end.

“So I can’t die from it. That’s reassuring, I guess.” Michael was starting to think that the dermabond was the last thing that they really needed to worry about. He exhaled loudly, before looking down at her once again. When she mentioned that while she didn’t know him well, he was really all she had as there was no sign of anything or anyone living in the building they were in.

Jsmn:

“It’s derma what?”
“So I can’t die from it. That’s reassuring, I guess.”
“Yes you can’t. It’s Dermabond, a kind of wound closing medicine. I think you need to really, scatter that on your arms. I see some wounds there…” She said. “You see…I think I’m starting to regain a bit of my memory. I really know that scent, as in knew it. Maybe I’m a doctor’s daughter or a pharmacist’s? or maybe I was dead sick just before this happened and been in the hospital?…and was left here to die…” she said, embracing the idea that they are in a hospital building. She suddenly started to get a little depressed. She doesn’t know if she likes to even remember what she had forgotten, maybe this thing happening was her way out of her maybe sympathetic life. “Well…at least they left you too with me…I’m not completely alone” she said with a faint smile.

Razor:

“I knew that.” Michael made a face like he was trying to cover up the fact that he didn’t really know what dermabond was. But by the sounds of it, this purplish gunk was actually helpful. Looking at his arms now, he could see that there were cut like abrasions, and he started to slap his wet hand up and down his arm, before smacking his hands together and then rubbing it into the other arm (which was still sore). Claire might have said not to let go of her hand, but considering that he was actually wearing something helpful to him, he might as well put it to good use. As he went about his self medicating, Claire spoke about how she felt that due to knowing the smell and recognizing the ointment then maybe she was getting a little bit of her memory back. But that is the funny thing about memories. Some things like certain smells, or tastes can invoke reactions that may give you only a puzzle piece of the full picture. And when you look at just that one piece out of say…a thousand, you really can’t see what it what it all is.

As much as he didn’t want to burst her bubble, at her thoughts about their current situation, but he was starting to wonder about the whole being left here with a purpose. Like why were they left in a locked room? And how long had they been there? Were they left there to die?

Claire’s only consolation was the fact that she was not alone. The problem was she didn’t know anything about Michael, just as he didn’t even know himself. What was to say he was a good guy? What if…their memories were erased on purpose?

“Instead of guessing who you might be, or why you are here with me; perhaps we should go look and work out exactly where we are first. You may not like what you find.” Michael was trying to be realistic about where they stood.

Jsmn:

“Instead of guessing who you might be, or why you are here with me; perhaps we should go look and work out exactly where we are first. You may not like what you find.”
She knows that. Guessing won’t help, but it makes her feel less lost and scared trying to figure out…guessing who and what kind of person she is. Even if it would turn out to be wrong, it’s better than nothing. “I know that…” she answered, now feeling like she was being stupid. She worked her way to what she can tell is a window, but tried not to stray away from Michael. She thought for a moment staring, if the windows are painted, or covered somehow. She wiped it with her hand, but she still can’t see anything through the window. “What the-” she muttered and try wiping it again. “Michael come here..” she called him. “It’s the same, it’s dark outside. If it’s night there should be at least a street light out there, but I can’t see a thing.” she added.

Razor:

It was almost like, they would answer each other in defense. Not being totally honest to save face perhaps, or to stop from feeling stupid. They hadn’t really gotten off to the best of starts, and it was plain that some of the behaviors that each exhibited rubbed off on the other. But if they were to find out what happened, and who they really were, then they were going to have to work together, and put all differences aside. Michael was trying to roll his shoulder and get his muscles working properly, as Claire wandered over to what was a window. This was probably the furtherest distance they had been apart so far, and of course what she discovered was that the world beyond the window was pitch black. No house lights, no car lights, no street lights. Ambling over, Michael peered through the window, scrunching up his face as he tried to make out shapes in the dark. It was as though there was a massive power black out. The kind when there is a serious storm, or simple government power shedding. But given the lack of people…or signs of life, Michael was starting to get a sick feeling in the pit of his stomach. Drawing back from the window he said.

“I don’t like the look of this.”

He turned to face her, his face turning pale. “What if….there is no one else out there?”

Tales from the Crow’s Nest – A Pirate’s Story.

~Tick Toc Tick Toc Tick Toc goes the Clock~

It was hard to imagine that the turning of that simple hour glass had caused a major upset that was spreading like tentacles right across the realms. The Witches knew, The Dark One knew. It was like everything was topsy turvy and those that were allies were turning on each other and those that were enemies, were forming new alliances. War, the battle cries were being heard in places that few imagined and there were those that worked the fringes to profit from the dramas unfolding. How funny, that in some Kingdoms, they made love…in others they sought war. Would there ever be peace now?

A rolling fog crossed the lands that reached the outer grounds of Gluttony with the sound of a ship’s bell ringing in the mist. The creaking of well worn wood and the shouts coming from the deck by the hardy crew suggested that something was coming as weird as that sounded. Was it even possible for a ship to sail upon the air’s current? The fluttering of sails and the strange whistle pierced the air, right as a body was flung from one of the windows of the castle Gluttony. It landed with a bump along the blackened grasses and stayed still, while above the sound of chain being released meant that something was coming from above. A massive anchor landed with a terrible thud into the earth as scores of pirates were lowered on ropes to scan the area below. The meanest looking band of men that one could ever lay eyes upon, and one had gone ahead – taking out his time piece and then a compass in the other hand. The compass pointed directly at the girl that had been thrown from the castle.

“Cap’n! She be ‘ere!” He bellowed, looking back as the sound of heavy foot falls suggested a large man was coming. Indeed, it was none other than Captain Moon, and he stared down at the girl with a scowl on his weathered face.

“They be throwin’ away the wenches?” He asked with a curious expression, giving her side a little kick with his boot. The Captain wasn’t much into pleasantries. The Captain shrugged, and then looked up to the castle from which she had been thrown. “Sounds like a real party, lads.” There was no mistaking the sound of a battle royale of sorts going on inside the castle proper. At one point, they heard a woman scream out like a war cry “Hissatsu!”

The crew all looked at each other wondering if they should enter the fray. The first mate scratched his cheek, and then stared down at the girl thoughtfully. There was no real reason that they needed to risk the ship and the crew by entering the fight, but….if they took the girl.

“Cap’n….she’s not just any wench.” The First mate pointed out a symbol on her clothing and the Captain crouched down for a better look. “Hmmmm….interesting. Jarvis, get her back on board. She might be useful after all.’

“Aye..aye, Cap’n.” The first mate whistled for a few of the crew to pick the fallen girl up and carry her back to the lowered ropes, to carry her back on board the floating ship.

Captain Moon stood with his hands on his hips a moment, seeing all the dead guards scattered in the grounds. Normally he did enjoy a good fight, but by the sounds of things it was one that he wasn’t about to put everything on the line for. With a deep chuckled, he turned on his heel and went to rise up to his ship by using the ship’s anchor to lift him back off the ground. With all back on board, the ship disappeared back through the fog that had brought it there in the first place.

Immune.

Outside is no different than inside the room. It’s dark, as if the whole world was swallowed by night. But just before the block out, a virus called P-M (Project mutation) was spread through out the city, which made the humans, turn into flesh eating creatures. And we, we are immune. (Probably experimented on by the government, the same who made the P-M virus) and we are being monitored on.

Jsmn:

We woke up together, in a dark square room. Every inch of our body aches, that every little movement we make causes pain. I tried thinking, rummaging through my memories, the reason why we are here. But all was blank. All I remember is my name, Claire, and that I have to stay with you to be able to survive.

Razor:

Ever have one of those mornings right after a bender and you wake up with a stale yet bitter taste in your mouth – almost like metal. Groggy and for some reason you feel like every part of you is aching. That was how it was as Michael’s eyelids started to move. Slowly opening, though really one at a time. His hand moving up to rub the sleep that had built up in the corner of his eyes.. Ugh….there was a sensation in his gut, like he knew he wanted to be sick. Mixing the sick feeling with trying to figure out what the hell he’d done to end up like this, he turned his head slightly – just enough to see that he wasn’t alone.

“Okaaay….” There was a girl beside Michael. She was pretty, that much he could tell through the haze of waking. Question was…who was she? Why couldn’t he remember what he had done the night before? Raking back his hair as he moved his hand from his eyes to the back of his head, he tried to sit up, but then felt a terrible pain in his gut again. Had he eaten something to make him so sick that he could barely move to sit up. All he could think to say was…

“Are you okay?”

Jsmn:

Pain, Pain and Pain. That’s all she knew she felt, she’s sure there’s more but the pain is the overwhelming one. She opened her eyes, and closed it again, and opened it again. Am i blind? She thought of, at the same time trying to remember anything that would explain what is happening but everything was blank just like a paper, where her name was the only thing written. Then she heard, a slight sound…breathing? She’s sure it’s not hers.

“Okaaay….” hearing that voice, now she’s positive she’s not alone. She opened her eyes again, slower this time. But still everything was dark, as if her eyes were still shut. Another slight rustling sound, she tried to locate where could he be, but not intending to move, since she knows it will bring her more pain since every part of her body aches.

“Are you okay?” she took a deep breath and sighed. “No…Are you?” She answered quite irritated. “And stop making those creepy sounds…I can’t actually move and see you, you see…and don’t come near me…” She added.

Razor:

Whoever this girl was beside him, she wasn’t entirely happy to hear him speak. Probably was a good thing that Michael couldn’t remember her at all. The weird part thought was that she was laying beside him and yet was telling him that she didn’t want him touching her. Michael could manage to turn his head, just enough to see her – well the outline of her face. But as for trying to get up, well that was something that he had not yet been able to do. She complained about the creepy sounds she was hearing, insinuating that it was him doing it. As far as Michael was concerned, he didn’t think he sounded creepy – more like he was sick. She should thank her stars that he didn’t end up being sick all over her face at the moment. He had just enough willpower to keep whatever it was in his stomach, down.

Opening his eyes wider, it was hard to make out exactly where they were. The room was really quite dark, and there didn’t appear to be windows, or even a door from where they were both laying.

“No, I feel like I have been hit by a truck…then a bus, and ran over by a train.” That was just about the level of pain he was in, though he was being a little elaborate in his explanation. “And..if I touch you, it’s not cause I want to.” Michael had to add that cause she was right beside him. Normally, he didn’t mind holding a pretty girl in his arms, though right now he didn’t really feel like he could even pick anything up if he tried.

“My bets are that someone slipped us roofies…and…we are in some sort of…hospital.”

Only problem with his theory was there was no sign of medical equipment and not only that the room smelt musty, almost like whatever filtration system was running had not been cleaned in like…forever. There was something really wrong with this scene. He turned his head again towards the girl and said. “Not to be rude, Miss….but who are you?”

Jsmn:

She waited until he was done blabbering his thoughts. And now she knows, they were pretty just beside each other, hearing him speak. “Are you an idiot? How can this be a hospital? Hospitals supposed to be bright, smelly and well, disgusting…” She said, almost choking herself with her sarcastic laugh but sounded like she’s choking. She coughed, and took a deep breath. “Well, I’m pretty hurt too. I can’t even move an inch…and yes, I know now that we are basically lying beside each other..Just try not to touch me, I don’t have the energy to even scream in pain if you happen to hit one of my I don’t know how many wounds…”

“It’s Claire…I don’t know what comes next…Just Claire…” She answered, “and you?”

Razor:

You know when you get that wish, that like if you had to share a room with a pretty girl, that she’d be sweet and adorable. Well, this girl was paying lip service, and not in a good way. First off, calling him an idiot for suggesting the room that they were in was a hospital. Sure, it didn’t appear anything like a hospital, but why else would they both be lying together in a dark room, unless this was the worst motel room in the city. This…was just all wrong, and with this girl laughing at him now, was making it all the worse. When she coughed from her little fit of laughter, it was hard not to smile. Michael was never one to be rude to strangers, but this girl had a nice way of winding him up, even if she didn’t realize she was doing it or not. The girl started to complain about not being able to move, which was a little similar to how Michael felt. It was like his arms were dead weights, and just lifting his hand to brush back his hair took some effort.

In a way it was like being trapped without restraints. Like, she…this girl who went on to say her name was Claire – said she didn’t want to be touched, cause she felt that she was covered in wounds. But why would they both be injured, laying in a dark room together and not being able to remember what happened to put them in this predicament. If he had been a girl, he would have been screaming for whoever put them there to come and let them out. But, being that he was a grown man, he had to not only put up with Claire, but he had to mind his manners in the light of things. One thing though…he couldn’t remember much about himself. She was able to sprout off her name, but it took Michael a good minute to remember his. That….was all he could remember.

“I think…I’m Michael.”

Now the worry was starting to creep in.

“Do you remember anything? How you came to be here….with me?”

Jsmn:

She knew that was a little rude of her but then words sometimes just blurts out before we could scale them whether it’s rude or not. Well, she thinks maybe she’s just screwed that way, if she’s wrong, if maybe her self that she’d forgotten is a little more of a sweet talker, that’s much better. “You think?…so, we both don’t remember that much huh?” She answered, “All there is…is just Claire. I don’t even know if that’s really my name. I don’t want to state the obvious, but I think we are captured…are you a smuggler or what?” She added, tho she know that’s really not the case here. It’s far more, serious and dangerous. She felt her heart thumping, and little by little, it’s getting hard to breath. She lifted her hand up with all her might, looking carefully if she’s injured there or not. “Good…” She whispered seeing only a few scratches and lifted it up towards where she thinks Michael was. “Let me do a hand shake, Michael… Don’t waste it, it took more energy than it supposed to be and hold on to it…” she said.

Razor:

So this girl, Claire; knew as much as he did. Just a name. That was all either could remember. The feelings were pain that was hard to describe, really. Although Michael had given a good go at it. His examples were treated lightly, till it appeared that Claire was now also trying to come to grips with the situation they were both in. “So we don’t both remember much.” Well that was a given. From what Michael could see he wasn’t even sure what he was wearing. His head straining slightly as he raised it enough to cast down to his shirt and pants, that both appeared to be bloodied and torn. You could try to deduce from things like attire, to match into the fact he was still in a lot of pain. As Claire continued to speak, about how she wasn’t even sure if she was actually Claire, Michael let out a roar of pain, as he forced himself with all his might to sit up. It was like his skin was tearing wide open, and no words could truly describe the feelings. His face however showed all he needed too. Brows deeply furrowed, and he was squinting so hard, you couldn’t see his eyes at all.

“AAARRRGGGHHH!”

His voice echoed throughout the darkened room till it died away, leaving him panting heavily. Claire asked if Michael was a smuggler, to which Michael let out a half laugh, as though she had to be kidding.

“I don’t even know what day it is, or what happened to me. If I were a smuggler, I am a pretty shitty one.”

Looking down at Claire she had managed to just lift her hand enough to shake, as some sort of attempt at greeting. A more formal one that early on. As not to waste his strength, he merely took her pinky and gave it a small shake.

“There….not wasted.” He released her finger and continued to observe his surrounds. Trying to listen out for the sounds of other voices, or machinery. Anything that might give off a clue as to where they were being held.

Jsmn:

“I don’t even know what day it is, or what happened to me. If I were a smuggler, I am a pretty shitty one.” She would be happy if that was really the case here. Feeling his hand, well, she doesn’t know if she can call it a hand shake. “There….not wasted.”
“I told you, hold on to it” She said. “Hold on to it…” She demanded, still not taking her hand away. “I think you’re hurting more than I am. I’ll try to…” she took a deep breath, “I’ll try to stand…” taking another one, “It’s getting hard to breath here, Michael….” she added.

Razor:

Michael wasn’t expecting Claire to suddenly get clingy. First she says not to waste energy on the handshake, then she reminds him that she wanted him to hold onto her hand. Girls….seriously. Keeping hold of her finger, he slid his hand a bit further to clasp her own, but it didn’t come without some pain. He grumbled in annoyance, but fulfilled her wish anyways. “There…holding it. Happy now?” You couldn’t say that Michael was acting like a gentleman at the moment, more like this was starting to become a very strained relationship. Already, the concern that Michael felt was growing, and to add to that, this girl – Claire was probably going to be a burden to him as he tried to figure out just how to escape from the darkened room.

“I think you’re hurting more than I am…”

“Really? What gave you that idea?” Micheal had been pretty vocal when he tried to sit up and found himself in agonizing pain. Now, SHE wanted to try and sit up. Oh hell no… The very thought of her ear piercing screams was enough to force his hand.

“I’ll try to stand..”

“No..you won’t..” Using what energy he had, the young dark haired Michael spun his waist enough to try and lift Claire off the table, all the while she complained about the fact it was getting harder to breathe. Michael’s legs felt like they were turning to jello beneath them, but he strained as hard as he could as he tried to find an exit.

“There has to be a way out of here..” He coughed.

Jsmn:

A moment ago, she was actually trying to save their ass until she runs out of breath but then as she knew or well,… men are really unpredictable. “That’s just…” she coughed. “Really…unnecessary…dumb ass!” she complained trying to breath in as little as oxygen as her immune system agreed to. She watched him, but he was fading in the room, almost like blending in the dark. “M-michael?” she called.

Razor:

“You’re welcome..”

What else could Michael say, when even in her fights for breathe, she still continued to tell him off. Micheal imagined that in different circumstances, that she would indeed be a real fighter, but right now she was fighting for every breath she could muster. Michael was in a great amount of pain, but he knew that the limited oxygen supply would only dwindle further unless he got himself under some amount of control. Panicking led to an increased heart rate, which in turn would mean that he would be taking greater and more frequent breaths. Blinking, as he tried in desperation to focus, he happened to make out the shape of what had to be some sort of doorway. Could this be their one and only way out. Adjusting his hold on the girl, he took a deep breath – holding it in and then charged at the door with all the might he had. The body slam would probably hurt like Christ, but he had to get them out of the room, and find that much needed fresh air.

On striking the door, the hinges buckled enough to force the door to fall forward – sending Michael and Claire with it.

Jsmn:

Just as she was about to call on him again, he appeared and before she could react she was already outside the room, or she thinks so feeling a cold breeze but it was just as dark as before. “M-michae..” before she could finish, she felt her hand touching something hard, a body? She didn’t land on something right? “M-M..” she muttered, slowly reaching again for that something she touched earlier, and ended up into what she can tell a face. “No! No!” She kicked, and try to get away without thinking, she just wanted t get away, she’s not sure what that was and as hell, she’s scared as hell now. “Michael!” she yelled.

Razor:

They had made it out. The force of the impact though was enough to have Michael roll on his back exposing Claire to whatever was outside the door. He could feel the terrible sensation that he had knocked his shoulder right out of his socket. The young man was now going cross eyed from the pain, but just to make matters worse…Claire started to stutter his name. Kind of a barrage of M’s. Like she was now upset to be outside the room. There really was no pleasing this girl. The hallway that they had found themselves in was just as dark as the room they had come from.

“No! No!” Claire started screaming. It was almost blood curdling as she screamed his name this time. “Micheal!”

“WHAT?!”

Michael could feel Claire trying to scoot back from something, and as much as it pained him, he strained his neck to see.

“OH MY GOD!”

Claire was partially lying on a dead body…the face etched in a horrific state. Whoever it was died horribly.

You know, normally most people would have given in after being shot with so much electrical energy that they can’t even move, but this one definitely was a firebrand who didn’t know when to stop, someone who Ayana could have a lot of fun with in the long run considering everything that was going on at this point in time. She just kept giggling as he stopped his eye beam and then redirected another one for the chandelier, snapping its chain. As the thing fell, Ayana didn’t make any moves as the thing fell at her, not a one as she didn’t care one bit; the only thing that she did was she actually instead… mumbled under her breath a specific incantation so low that no one would be able to hear her. What she said was: The cunning of Loki hides away my impulses; the strength of Thor shirks my skill; the omnipotence of Odin commands me. By decree of these words, the Seal is Released; the Valkyrie’s Force shall reign. Funniest part about her saying this was, that as she said the last word, the chandelier landed upon her already changing form.

With a cry, a roar as her raven colored wings unfurled, the Valkyrie caused the chandelier to be shattered into pieces from the sheer force of her power being unleashed all at once. As the Valkyrie was left standing there, she didn’t care that the Jabberwock had decided to buy himself time, she was just waiting for him to do so, just so that she could do as she pleased. As she stood there, her hand cannon began to glow brightly, but this was seemingly natural as it did it the moment that she had revealed her form.

It was time to show this Jabberwock what true force could do.

Kingdom of Greed – Castle
Mariela had the armor all placed, and she held the helmet in her arm, watching Suda. When she asked if there was “anything else she needed to know about”, she meant about the armor. She did not expect Suda to stop and pull down some levrl. Mariela looked up, seeing a massive stone wall turn around, and Mariela furrowed her brows in confusion. “Guess you should see the lab.” Suda spoke, and Mariela just gave a confused expression.

https://i1.wp.com/38.media.tumblr.com/160f4c19c76916074e63456b7967cc97/tumblr_inline_n1tjdfRQMZ1rg5w1l.gif
“Um… As much as I’d love to, there’s a giant creature in my ballroom right now, and I need to make sure my family are out of harm’s way, sooo…” she spoke… but the dwarf didn’t listen. He started walking towards the lab anyway, leaving Mariela completely confused. “Oh…no rush to go fight the beast, I am sure it will still be there when we are finished…NOW…welcome to Greed central. It is here that we are working on new and wonderful ways to defend the Kingdom.” Suda spoke, and Mariela just looked at him in confusion. “It can wait?!” she spoke. “It can’t wait! There is a beast in the middle of my ballroom!” she spoke. She gave an exasperated sigh, turning to look around her at the army of dwarves. She’s been here since Mammon – how did she not know this was here?

She followed him to another dwarf – known as Rupert – but literally the entire time she was antsy and anxious to get back up there. She didn’t know how well the girl was holding up, plus her brothers and Tessa were still there, as well as Scar. They needed to hurry up so she could leave. Suda introduced her to his son, and Mariela bowed her head. “Nice to meet you.” she said, but her voice was rushed and hurried. She giggled a bit when Suda lectured his son, before he bowed and Mariela gave him a smile.

“Ah yes…the legendary Princess of Greed. You’re the one that turned Lydia into slime. Nice work. I hate to say it, but…you don’t exactly look the evil ruler type to me.”

Mariela couldn’t help but let out a little laugh. “I’m not the evil ruler type.” she said with a shake of her head. “Women do like to be told nice things… but, there’s a way you phrase it.” she then said. When Suda asked to demonstrate the gauntlet, Mariela shook her head. “Look… as much as I’d like to see it, I really need to get up there.” she said, looking up as a piece of the ceiling dropped down, and then giving a worried expression.
https://i1.wp.com/38.media.tumblr.com/de67bb42b2af8fd02c3ffc8a2df3f8d6/tumblr_inline_n1tjm47uST1rg5w1l.gif

Rupert began explaining the gauntlet anyways, and Mariela gave an annoyed groan. She listened to the explanation, raising an eyebrow at the claws, and then her eyes widening when the net of plasma was thrown, giving an apoligetic smile to the dwarf on the wall. He then demonstrated the invisibility, and Marie raised an eyebrow. “That’s all really cool and everything…” Mariela spoke, looking back up at the roaring. “But as much as I’d like to sit here and learn more… Ireally need to go.” she said, beginning to walk away backwards. “No questions. Um… come see me whenever it’s finished, and I’ll come back when I have time to know more and get to know you all. Okay?” she said, giving a warm smile before placing the helmet on her head.

She then ran out, picking up the sword in one hand and the tablet in the other. She immediately raced out of the armory, heading back up the stairs, just in time to hear the cry from what she guessed was the other girl. “That… didn’t sound good…” she said, racing down the hallway and into the ballroom.

Razorbackwriter:

Kingdom of Greed – Castle

Like a vacuum cleaner seller having the door slammed in his face, Rupert’s face fell after giving a stellar performance at trying to show off the wonders and attributes of the magical gauntlet. He had described its properties, and the many magnificent things it could do, but then part of the ceiling happened to collapse, enough to remind the Princess that upstairs a girl was fighting for her life against the majesty of the Jabberwocky. The Red Queen’s favorite pet. Seeing her walking backwards, the disappointed dwarf took the gauntlet off and shrugged his shoulders. No sale today. Suda simply shook his head, before waddling over to give his son a pat on the arm.

“There there….why don’t we go test out the new catapult? I’ll even let you throw Wilson over the castle wall.” Suda and Rupert chuckled together, while Wilson’s muffled cries were heard in the background. “You drive a hard bargain, Father.”

With the Princess fleeing from the blacksmith shop, wearing her armor and carrying the sword of souls, she looked ready to take on anything…anything at all. And…there was someone watching.

Having lost out to the White rabbit, the Cheshire cat’s red eyes were the only things visible, as it chuckled darkly to itself. Oh, she must be heading for the little fight in the ballroom. Stealth, was something the cat was good at, along with being able to blend into any scene, be it a hedge, a tree or a stone wall.

As Mariela was about to slide into the now partially destroyed ballroom, a massive cat’s head appeared in her way.

https://i0.wp.com/31.media.tumblr.com/6c7a49efcd3720bc23bcaf4bd5d4179b/tumblr_mt39z7iFgP1rmkaimo1_400.gif

“Aren’t you fancy, little Princess. Don’t you know, you’re late for the ball.” Wickedly, the cat grinned, showing off all its razor sharp teeth. The cat’s face got closer and then it opened its mouth, to show of all things….a clock.

‘Tick tick tick tick tick…..”

“Tock!”

https://31.media.tumblr.com/7e827022630fa86530493eb81844a5bc/tumblr_npdl690PPz1rkjdd6o6_500.gif

In behind the Princess, a dark shadow appeared and it threw something into the mouth of the Cheshire cat. The cat’s mouth closed and it started to splutter and cough, before the head started to shrink away. In fact, the whole cat appeared, and it was getting smaller and smaller. So small, it became the size of a domestic cat.

“Meow!” *Screeech*…..the cat ran away, disappearance around a corner, and if Mariela looked behind her, she would see a tall….good looking dark haired man standing in behind her.

“Hurry! She needs you.” The man said, urging her to go on. He didn’t reveal himself, since time was of the essence. Even Marcus knew that.

In the ballroom, the little lightning girl was being a real pain in the ass. The chandelier had broken its chain, and its landing was meant to disable the girl, but alas all it did was unleash a locked power. It gave her the very reason to bring out her true self, something that for a split second, even the Jabberwocky took notice of. Struggling against the warp of lightning energy that had it bound, the chest of the Jabberwocky grew larger and larger, as it writhed to give one last bout of strength to overcome its many injuries. The beast would not give up….it couldn’t

“The mirror is gone…little sprite.” The jabberwocky felt its only way out now destroyed. “If I cannot return…then you will join me in HELL!” The mighty tail of the jabberwocky had not been caught up in the girl’s power, and it reared up behind the beast. A ball like club at the end of the tail produced large spikes, with spear like tips. Like a cat, the tail stiffened, and then the jabberwocky lowered its head, to unleash a series of spikes like rapid firing darts, that headed toward the girl, who had her arm cannon at the ready.

Little did anyone realize that in behind the jabberwocky, where the mirror had stood, was now a table…that contained a table of….cookies. Each cookie had words written on them.

“Eat me”

Matt:
It had been ages since Aria, or her sister had been back to their home in Greed. About two years to be exact. However they had finished the job that the great Lord Mammon had sent them on, and now they were returning. On the way in though there was a grand shop along the road. It had a giant wooden cookie sitting above the door, and as Aria looked upon it a giant glimmer shone in her eyes, and a grin spread upon her lips. Before her sister could stop what was about to go down, Aria vanished into the cookie shop.

There was a giant ruckus in the shop before Aria burst out the doors once more, running at high speeds away from the shop. In her arms she carried bags and bags of varying cookies. As she ran she was actually leaving a trail of the treats behind her. From the shop the owner burst out, yelling at her to bring back the merchandise. Yes. The young girl had stolen over a hundred dollars in cookies.

Once they were far enough away Aria slowed down once more, and began walking normally, munching on a cookie. She seemed rather like a child as she munched the treat. One would not believe that she was the older of the two twins.

https://i1.wp.com/i.gyazo.com/4379d40c6c13849740ab00e31be82149.png

Not too long after that, the castle of greed came into view.

“Yay! Almost home!” Aria yelled, dropping a couple of her cookies in excitement.

That was when a terrible roar ripped through the air. It was coming from the castle, and didn’t seem friendly.

“”Uh oh. I hope Mammon is ok.” she said, and then she vanished, a trail of roses following the path she had taken.

She was now standing directly in front of the ballroom door from the outside. She noticed the windows were smashed, and there were sounds of fighting coming from the inside. However her hands were full of the “Borrowed” cookies. She sat there, and thought for a moment, and then she seemed to decide on something. In the next moment her black booted foot was raised up, and slammed against the fragile doors of the ballroom. They were broken from the hinges, and fell to the ground with a crash.

Aria walked in through the doors, her eyes closed, and a smile on her face. This was her first mistake after being back. As soon as she was in the door way a giant tail came crashing down on her large pile of cookies, effectively crushing them to a non-edible level. It took the girl a moment to realize what had just happened to her, and as she looked upon the remains of the cookies a dark shadow fell across her face.

For a moment she stood there frozen, as though she had just lost a dear friend. This giant dragon-like creature had just crushed her cookies…… This was….. Unforgivable…… With a sudden explosion of force a pitch black aura surrounded the poor girl. The force of the sudden energy forced the ground under her to rupture, and sent her cloak billowing around her. Her hood had even flipped onto her head, casting more shadows upon her face.

This was a completely different girl from before, and it was clear, even if you did not know her well. With a snap of the wrist a large log of something red was in her hand. Though it did not stay like this long. The thing quickly shifted, and transformed into a giant scythe with crimson running all across it.

“I’ll…. I’ll never forgive you….. Let….. Let me…. Dissect…. you!!!!” her voice was quiet at first, but it quickly rose to a blood thirsty, and devilish roar.

https://i0.wp.com/i.gyazo.com/f6e563bdeeacdc4ad568088a27f710bf.png

Her body crouched low as her eyes showed from the shadows under her hood. They were not the same as before now though. Her iris’ were tiny, and each was filled with the veins of rage. Her body was pumping blood all across her being. Now though came the delayed reaction of her dark aura. Those affected by it would start to see a world coated in blood. Everything would be dripping with it, even their bodies would be covered in the life-blood of all things. It was not a simple illusion. Aria’s dark aura was so powerful that it transferred her view of the world onto those around her.

That’s right. This is how she sees the world. Covered in blood, and dead. As the girl’s body lowered she laid the pole of the scythe across her shoulders, the blade aimed at the ground. The creature seemed to be suffering from some paralysis, though it was still moving some. With her highest possible speed Aria dashed under the chin of the creature, and spun, aiming the back of the scythe for the bottom of the jaw.

If this move were to connect it would have enough of the girl’s deranged force behind it to send the beast’s head into the ceiling. Following up with this move, the girl slammed a mag of her high velocity rounds into the slot in the scythe. These rounds were powerful enough to propel the girl as she rode the scythe, and so imagine the damage, or at least pain they could inflict upon this monstrosity, and cookie- killer. From her position under the monster she placed the end of the scythe on the ground to give it a stable setting, and began to fire off the rounds at the Jabberwocky’s under chin.

As fast as she could she would pull the trigger, and cock again, repeating the process until the mag was empty. This did not stop her though. She would load a second mag in, and continue the process until this mag was empty as well. She finished with a third mag, not wanting to let up on the assault of the beast. She would avenge her cookies if it was the last thing she would do. This entire assault was being played to the music of Aria’s blood curdling screams, and demented aura.

Razor:

Few ever dared to go this deep into the darkened forest after the sun had set. Only the most courageous or stupid would hire a coach to take them north of Flinders Peak. But there had been a change in the guard, and while the roads were often only used by farmers that needed to get their crops and herds to market, it would be now that a blackened coach that was pulled by a team of four jet black horse, galloped along the gravel track. Death, which was not uncommon to the down trodden, happened at the Craxton Park. Whispers from the local village had spoken of how the Late Lord’s estate had been to a left to a mysterious cousin, who had been out of the country for well over decade. The red satin curtains that lined the windows, hid the face of this newest heir to the Lord’s estate.

Would they suffer…the same fate?

And what of the young widow, that had not left Craxton since the funeral? Yet another mystery to be unraveled.

RG:

This was possibly the stupidest idea in the whole world. Well, maybe that was an exaggeration, but it made it to the top five at least. Children always joke about walking down the path heading to the north towards the “haunted” estate, even daring their friends to take the journey. Of course, no one ever went through with the dares. Except today. Ethan anxiously gripped his dark trousers, releasing it and then gripping it again. He can hear his friends howling at him, trying to “encourage” him to walk down the path and to “check things out for them”. Ethan was terrified of the forest but he never admitted it aloud. It’s just a scary story, right? It’s not really… Cursed, right? Rumors always circled Ethan’s village about murders, ghosts, curses, and deaths related to this estate in the dark forest. The story was always changing, so no one ever knew what had actually happened to the Late Lord. And a bet was made today that Ethan would be the one to find out what happened and report back. When Ethan finally gathered up enough courage, he took a timid step onto the hard road, and then another… Before he knew it, he was far into the darkened forest. A lone crow’s cry causes the young man to jump in fright, quickly looking around before continuing to walk slowly. He couldn’t hear his friends’ loud voices anymore, whether they ran away when his back was turned or he was just too far away, he didn’t know. Glancing around the forest, the setting sun’s lights only helped in creating large, intimidating shadows around Ethan. He wrapped his arms around himself, his short, dark blond hair being ruffled by a passing wind. His honey colored eyes dart at each subtle movement, darting at each sudden sound he hear. He shook because of the fact that he forgot to bring a light jacket with him, being cold in pale blue t-shirt, and also for the fact that was he was scared out of his mind.

Razor:

Amazing how much the landscape changes, just by the setting of the sun. Shadows stretch on forever, and this is also the time when the night creatures come out from their burrows and knotted stumps. Under the cloak of darkness, and only bathed by the moon’s light when it peaked out from behind a grey cloud – the many small creatures went about their evening as per normal. But this place. This cursed place was not for the faint of heart. If the signage did not warn off the curious, than the narrowing of the path, and the overhanging branches that encroached upon the winding road only made the trip forward very hard going. Was someone going to dare to make it through? Children and the young at heart often egged on the weak, to test their spirit and their resolve. Tales told by travelers and merchants around the fires of the local inn – fueled by drink and bravado, were not favorable of the terrible Lord of Craxton Park. He did his farmers and workers no favors, and often kept pretty much to himself within the walls of his Manor. Only sending out his man servant to pay wages and arrange business dealings on his behalf. The more one keeps to themselves, the likelihood of gossip and innuendo spreading across the lands. He could be just a miserly recluse, but there were other events, strange and terrible that happened every time he returned from abroad. On his last trip, he did not return alone. Bringing with him a new wife. The only knowledge of her, was when she had come into town with a black veil to order a dress to be made at the seamstress. She already looked as though she was dressed for a funeral. It was not long after this time, that it was said that he passed on from this earth to the next. Though the villages were not welcome to the funeral. The hearse had passed through the town, with just the widow and the man servant following the hearse. Even then, her face was covered and it all seemed to be so strange. There was no autopsy, no word on how he died. Just a simple parchment hammered to a tree in the village square.

But back to this night, when a young lad decided to take his chances and see just how far he got, on the road to Craxton Hall.

He had long left his friends behind, and he carried no torch or light. His colorings however did illuminate in the light of the moon. Just enough to be seen by those with exceptional vision at night.

“Only the brave or foolish dare walk this path.” It was a feminine voice, that spoke as the mist enveloped the roadway. A cool breeze nipping at the boy’s neck. If he did turn, he would see the prettiest girl he had ever seen, though she had a haunting smile. Dark flowing hair that was tied back fashionably, and wearing a flowing black gown of the age.

“Which are you?” She asked.

RG:

The young man felt a sharp chill run up his spine at her voice, slowly peeking over his shoulder at her. The images of haggard, old witches quickly dispel from his mind when his eyes fall on her, put off by her beauty. The question came back to his mind again, gathering up enough confidence in that moment to reply to her, “I-I’m brave enough to walk the path!” Ethan felt mild embarrassment at his stutter, but he took the moment to examine her appearance. Despite her dress blending in so well with the shadows and being shrouded by the sudden mist, he can still see her practically perfect figure clearly under the moonlight, and… Was that a sparkle in her eyes? He shivered at the realization, unsure whether the shine was a bad sign or a good one. He tugs on the sleeve of his tunic, having become nervous when they lock eyes for a brief moment, looking away quickly after. The quiet cry of a crow seems to mock his nervousness, but Ethan stands his ground, hesitantly speaking up again, “May.. I ask why you’re out here? Are you also brave…?” Just pulling out questions that came quickly to his mind, he momentarily forgets about the cursed estate and its widow, shifting on his feet while he holds the edge of his sleeve, still trembling slightly from his nerves and the chill.

Razor:

If Florina had meant to startle the young man on his trip into the forest, she did a good job. Though, he may never admit his fear it was easy to tell by the way in which he stuttered out that he was in fact brave enough to walk this way. “Mhmmm.” Was all that the strange woman said in return as though she was mocking his answer. Her crimson stained lips curved upward into a smile that was both wicked and fun. It was almost as though she enjoyed toying with the man. Funny how the moon’s soft light brought out a sparkle in her eyes. Collecting the edges of her lace and silk skirt, she circled around the young man, looking him up and down, as though he was intriguing. It may well make him all the more nervous. A crow’s call only added to the mix, making the scene even more bizarre. Ethan stood his ground however, and was bold enough to ask of her what she was doing out here. Why was she also brave? The reaction was for Florina to stop in her tracks and whip out an ornate black fan. Snapping it open with the flick of her wrist, and fluttering it about like one of those fine ladies of the royal court.

“I wouldn’t say I am brave…just I prefer to walk beneath the light of the Moon. You see I am very fair and burn easy under the heat of the Sun. Think of this as my daily stroll.”What she just said could have been taken a different way from what was offered. Perhaps there was more to the Widow of Craxton Hall then met the eye. She did have porcelain skin that seemed to be radiant underneath the starry night sky. It even heightened the colour of her eyes, and the red rouge of her cheeks. Almost like a fine china doll. Perfection. Yes that was the word you would use. Florina could see that the young man was feeling the cold, having just come out in a light tunic. It was enough to have Florina ask of him.

“Craxton is but a short walk up this road. Care for a night cap? A hot beverage?” The black haired vixen then lowered her fan closing it slowly and offering her gloved hand. Should he take it? Or did he need to know just who she really was?

RG:

Her circling did make him more nervous than he already was. It almost felt like she was a predator hunting and cornering its prey. But he did perked up at the mention of her fair skin. It did make sense with how her skin glowed under the moonlight, looking incredibly smooth and soft to the touch. The color of her lips and her cheeks complimented her appearance well, making her look very beautiful in Ethan’s eyes, but it was also a very sinister appearance. It made the young man uneasy, but he couldn’t take his eyes off of her either way. Her movements were graceful and elegant, the fan being a nice touch. Craxton? The name rang bells in Ethan’s mind, but he couldn’t quite place where he heard the name from… He looks at her small, gloved hand, tempted by her beauty to accept her offer, but his heart thumped loudly and nervously. He didn’t know who she was, but the hot beverage was very welcoming on the chilly night. “May I ask for a name at least?” Ethan looked back up at her face, “My name is Ethan…”

Razor:

How delicious. Florina thought, as she watched the young man’s chest rise and fall sharply. Each breath he drew was making his heart beat faster. If it had been any louder, it would have echoed out from his chest. All this from the simple gesture of offering her hand for him to take. She noted how he appeared timid at her suggestion. Begging the question as to what her name was. This would unravel the mystery of her identity. Dare she keep him further in suspense? Curling in her bottom lip, she made out as though it was a great secret. Leaning forward to whisper her name so softly that he may barely hear it. “Lady Florina Craxton.” Only when he had said his name, did she draw back with a cat like grace. Her bottom lip released from the bite of her teeth and it appeared more plump than before.

Ethan. Such a wise choice of name by your parents.” Her smile grew as she continued with a tit bit of trivia. “I do believe it means strong.Florina had to be the Queen of small talk. Knowing that the young man still may be wary, she lowered her hand and then snatched up the edge of her skirt, in order for her to be able to walk on without getting the lace edge caught on the ground. “Well, I am ready for that night cap. You are welcome to follow, or return to the village. I shan’t tempt you further.”

And with that, she continued on down the path, leaving the young man to his thoughts.

“Good eve, Ethan.”

Strangely enough as she left the scene, so to did the rolling mist. It was almost as though it traveled with her.

RG:

Lady Florina Craxton… Ethan thought, the name was very fitting for her he believed. He felt his cheeks grow warm at the indirect compliment of his name, unknowingly giving a tiny smile. But when she left, his heart relaxed its beating and his shivers reduced to trembles as his body is now only trying to keep him warm. He blinked his eyes, noticing how much clearer his surroundings became as the mist left with the Lady. Ethan didn’t get a chance to wish her a good night, but he glances over his shoulder back towards his village, then looks back to where Lady Florina had walked. Would he follow her? He was tempted to, oh so very tempted to. The young man’s mind was practically screaming at him to run since he had the chance, but his heart yearned to know more about the mysterious, beautiful woman he just met. Ethan had meet many women in his life, his parents always trying to set him up and even arrange marriages for him, but none of them ever stirred emotions in his heart like how Lady Florina did. He didn’t understand what he felt, maybe it was fear, anxiousness? Or maybe even… Love? He shook his head at the silly thought, but he knew he felt something. He decided that he would go back home for the night and return the following night. Maybe fate would bring them back together, he thought hopefully. And maybe he would be smart enough to bring a small lantern with him next time, along with his leather-like vest. At that resolve, the young man nodded slightly and turned back to his village with almost a small skip in his step, the shadows and thin, gnarly trees no longer causing him fear as he walked. The lone crow that was mocking him earlier just watched Ethan this time, quietly observing before taking off into flight into the clear sky.

Razor:

Did the Widow of Craxton expect the young man to follow her so easy? She tested him to some extent, only to find he was still not sure of her – refusing to take her hand and be led into the unknown. That being Craxton Park. Few dare go past the wrought iron gates and come back. Even those making deliveries know that it is best to leave the parcels and the outer perimeter and ring the large bell, that alerts the man servant of the arrival of goods. This was part of the gossip of the town. Did Ethan realize that he was one of the first to actually speak to her? The Seamstress was on a confidentiality clause, if she wanted the Widow’s business, and so she had to refrain from speaking about what they had discussed in the shop. Why would someone go to that extreme? It only adds to the mystery. And what of the new Heir? Since the late Lord’s wife did not bare him a son, his estate and holdings went directly to the next in line among his family.

There were those that spoke of a black carriage that had passed through the town not long after the funeral, but it never left the estate. Did the Widow have something to do with this?

Florina’s dress swept along behind her as she entered the grounds, the gates closing in behind her as though to lock her in. Few lights were seen in the darkened windows, but enough to light her way. Waiting at the entrance, was the former Lord’s faithful servant and now the one and only that was to care for the Widow. He bowed low as she lifted her skirt enough to climb the stairs.

“Enjoy your walk, M’lady?” Curious to know why she was out so very late. Florina stopped, as though to ponder this very question. “I had no idea that the locals were so…nice.”The way she said the last word was done with a mischievous tone. Bertie blinked. “You actually met one?” He knew that few dare venture down the dark forest road, as the gossip was enough to keep people away. Florina’s eyes sparkled as she recanted in her mind, the meeting with the young man. “A young male. Handsome too. Almost had him come back for…a drink.” There she went again. Speaking with double meanings. What she said, when mixed with that gleam, that smirk on her crimson lips was enough to make the man servant shudder. But what could he do? Did he want to end up like his Lordship?

“He turned you down, M’lady?” Bertrand was now going into dangerous territory, with his questioning – but he just had to know.

“Would you accept the offer of a night cap from a stranger, Bertie?” The Widow took out her fan, with the edge of the lace touching just under his chin, causing him to gulp.Only if the stranger was you, M’lady” The Widow chuckled lightly at his response, and she gave his cheek a little…playful swat with her fan. “And that is why I keep you on. Now…get me a drink, and make sure its…freshly squeezed.” The man servant bowed and raced inside as the Widow glanced back over her shoulder at the darkened forest, where she had met what she hoped would be her newest friend.

“You won’t turn me down next time….Ethan.”

Smiling to herself, she started up the stairs, the doors closing when she had gone through into the majestic foyer.

The Whisper of Death [1]

Fortune:

Fortune stared at herself in the hotel mirror after getting ready for dinner, the loose curls of her blonde hair falling over her shoulders.

“God, I look like my mother,” she said to herself.

Her brown eyes had fine eyeliner wrapped around them, creating a cat eye. Red lipstick covered her mouth. She gave a smile, testing it out. The large gap between her front teeth was much too noticeable for her liking. She frowned, turning around to get the full effect of her ensemble.

She wore a dress that her mother gave to her for her sixteenth birthday, probably the most expensive thing that her parents ever bought for her. The money that her father “earned” was hardly ever spent on anything besides hiring hit men and other things relating to the business. The dress was long and red, with a slit running up to her left thigh. The front was covered up to her neck, but the gown was backless and showed off her tan skin and freckled shoulders. Brushing her hands down her torso and evaluating her appearance one more time, she let out a sigh and turned off the light. It was now or never.

Subtle:

Lance stared at himself in the mirror when he got to his room. Why are you so shy? Is it just the way you were raised? He thought. His parents were always gone, and his sister was always rude to him. So he had to be shy for many reasons. Maybe being here would help him overcome the shyness. “If only…” He sighed.

After he took a moment to himself, he began to get ready for the ‘party’ happening tonight on about, oh, 25 minutes. He put on a fancy suit, and made sure his hair looked at least a little decent. The freckles stared back at him in the mirror. What if you don’t get along with anyone? Oh you will. stop worrying about it… And he continued to get ready for the ‘big night.’

Lilah:

A few hours prior…
Stan was in the middle of the horrendous crowd before him. It annoyed him to no end to be in the middle of the swarming students, there was also a buzz going on about a celebrity’s daughter by the name of… Well Stan had no idea ‘Who the fuck cares anyway,’ He barely listened to the announcment, the architecture, while good looking did not faze him unlike others. He figured he was in the second pile of students going through the elevator dragging his black high quality suitcase he enters the elevator, ‘Bahh, parties aren’t my thing,’ He mentally whines despite knowing he would come anyways. The room number which he didn’t even check earlier was 418, he made his way after arriving on his floor.

Time Skip (7:24)

The hotel room was expensive looking, with tasteful furniture and its own kitchen, Stan didn’t really care as long as the place had WI-FI and a place to put his laptop he was content.
Stan, after checking the time decided it was time to go, not caring about his appearance, putted on a blazer on top on a white short-sleeved shirt, after finishing a quest in a video game, he grabbed a messenger bag filled with stuff he found necessary, and went out of the hotel room.

Celeste walks towards the huge bathroom, and took a quick shower, the shower glass had etched in flowers and was tinted blue. After she got out of the shower she began to do her makeup. she put on: a generous amount of BB cream, powder, peach blush, black eyeliner, mascara, shimmery eye shadow, and clear lip gloss. She unpacked her suitcases in order to find her dress and put her clothing from the bus ride over in the fold up hamper that she brought. Her dress was short sleeved covered in silver sequins, it hugged her body and went a teeny bit below her mid-thigh. She blow dried and curled her red hair and put on a black satin headband with a bow. She slipped her feet into some tall black heels. Her watch read 7:29, so she quickly hurried out of her suite and into the elevator again.Celeste walks towards the huge bathroom, and took a quick shower, the shower glass had etched in flowers and was tinted blue. Lilah:

Stanley’s right eye twitched, the dress that a girl about his age wore to the ‘Party’ was annoying him greatly, the silver sequins bothering his eyes. He stared at the girl, with an annoyed face. Not recognizing the famous Celeste.

SA:

Celeste noticed someone about her age with dark hair staring at her. He seemed mildly annoyed, at her dress? Maybe he didn’t like her parents? Did she have something on her dress? Did she step on his foot?
” Can I help you?” She asked. She mainly asked this to acknowledge the fact that he was glaring at her, but also out of her curiosity; she’s not used to people looking at her like that.

Lilah:

“Not really,” Stan said, he turned away, and looked at the number of the floor, they were about to arrive, the elevator doors opened “Well you can get rid of the dress, but I hardly think you will do so.” He said walking out of the elevator.

Subtle:

Lance walked out of his room and looked around. No one, he thought. This place is big, how could no one be in the hallways– He stopped himself mid-sentence and realized: the party, that’s why. He then made his way to the elevator and made it to the floor the party was being held on and looked around again. I know nobody here… Maybe I should make some friends.

Ob:

Calista tucked her keycard on her purse when someone suddenly talked to her. She looked up and saw a dark haired guy with olive skin tone, perfectly dressed in a tailored suit. Calista arched an eyebrow and looked around but there was no one else behind her. She looked at him again, “Uh.. Me?”

Asha:

Earlier on the bus that day…

Rome was in the last row, and thus, was one of the last students to get out. Everyone shot her nervous looks. They had all heard the rumours about how she had a shot a boy for bumping into her in the hallways and then walking away without apologising.
Honestly. I may be the daughter of a mafia boss but I’m not crazy. I just punched him. Stupid pricks, spreading rumours.

Grabbing her bag and room key, without thanking the person who handed them to her (the guy wouldn’t look straight at her anyway), Rome made her way to her room after listening to the announcer dude say something about a party.

Looks like I’ll have to quit my badass style for some time. Ugh, parties suck.

7:00 pm, half an hour away from the party…

Rome stepped out of the shower with her raven black hair wet and sticking all around her neck. She had already chosen her dress and make up, and laid them out on her bed.

She would be wearing a strapless, icy blue dress that hugged her hourglass shape perfectly, with silver heels that had blue gems lined along the straps. Her make up included a natural looking layer of foundation, silver eye shadow, and natural looking lipstick. She had decided to leave her hair straight, like how she usually left it. Her only accessories were dangling earrings.
In exactly half an hour, she was ready.

Smirking as she grabbed a silver purse with all her necessary stuff in it, she got into a lift that had some other people in it. They visibly moved to a corner of the lift as she walked in, and gawked at her at the same time. “What are you looking at?” She asked them coldly, and they quickly looked.

In a minute, Rome had reached the level where the party was being held. She walked out the lift, and the other two students walked out after she had.

So this is our welcoming party. She thought, as she looked around.

SA:

” You think I have a choice to wear this crap?” She said under her breath frustrated before she realized the elevator doors are opening. She put a fake smile on her face and walked out of the elevator and into the party.

Razor:

“Yeah, you.” Jon said with a slight smirk. There was no one else in the corridor, and he wasn’t the kind of guy to talk to himself. Pulling out the party notice, which she may well recognize he flashed it at her, before folding it back up smartly to place back into his jacket pocket. “I think I saw you on the bus earlier.” The Italian looking lad was giving her cues in which to speak, but it may well have fell flat, as she wasn’t one for small talk by the looks of it. “So are you going to the party downstairs?” He asked, then finally remembering his manners. “I’m Giovanni…er.. Jon, by the way.” He didn’t give up his last name, since Jon didn’t think she’d want to go on his arm if she knew who he was the son of. Jon spoke with a slight accent, that could be considered endearing, if you liked that sort of thing.

There was a moment of awkward silence, as he could hear the ping of the elevator.

“If we hurry we could catch that one.”

Lilah:

“Maybe you have a choice, maybe you don’t, how the hell am I supposed to know?” Stan said, irritated. The girl was a bother, annoying and probably thought her life was hard to live, despite not being so. With that Stan went off to the party, making his way through the crowd, he leaned on a wall and just awkwardly stood there next to the snack table, not being known for being a social butterfly, most people ignored Stan, he after all was not his younger siblings, who were adored by the public. But of course some whispers about the guy were made, he was after all a famous actresses son.

Ob:

Calista gave him a smile. “Of course I know you.” she inserted an arm on the arm he offered. Her other free hand held the purse. “Shall we? Before we get late on that party.” Calista said. “Such a gentleman of you. I didn’t expect someone would see me and eventually escort me to that party.” She chuckled.

Calista may not talk a lot but she knows when to give away her charm. She knows a lot and everyone than she is expected to. She also knows how to play and let someone be in her hands. But that’s another story.

Asha:

At the party, Lucius saw this girl with Raven hair and a dangerous look on her. He had heard the rumours about her, shooting a boy in the hallways. Of course it wasn’t true: If something happened, Lucius was always there to take pictures. What was her name again? Some city. Paris? No, that couldn’t be. London? That would just be stupid. Rome! Her name was Rome! A not even decent opening line came into his head: just the way he liked it. He walked up to the girl, tapping her on the shoulder of her icy blue dress. “Ave, Romae estis? Tu estis pulcra et magna! Sum Lucius. You know what that means?”

Razsor:

There was something magical about the way a simple smile can light up a girl’s face. It was the best indicator that Jon hadn’t been too bold in his intentions to escort Calista to the party. The girl looked a knockout in the silver gown, and matched his attire to a T. The pair looked as though they planned this, though nothing could be further from the truth. From the way she spoke, she already knew who he was. Well, that was understandable. He was a Bianchi, and they had a certain profile – both physically and in the media. Taking her arm properly, he strolled with her to the lift – his chest out proud and his chin held high. You could say he met up to the name, and was certain to show Calista off when they arrived at the party.

“It’s fashionable to make an entrance….or in our case, be a little late.” Jon and Calista just made the lift and he spun her around when the doors closed – sealing them in. The dark haired Jon flicked his hair back a little, as part of it had fallen down before his eyes. It gave him a slightly roguish look. “A beautiful girl such as yourself deserves to be shown off…and I plan to do just that.” Giovanni’s cologne was quite strong in the confined space of the lift, and it may have made Calista a little light headed. Everything, about Jon…seemed to be rich and powerful. From the fleck of gold from his cuff links and watch, to the fifty watt smile, that he only showed to someone he either wanted to impress, or genuinely liked.

On the opening of the doors on the floor where the party was happening, the smile fell away and he looked dominant once again.

“Lets show these kids how it’s done.”

SA:

She glared back at the guy, he came off at so negative, but at the same time she didn’t mind that he didn’t know who she was. She was near some other famous girls; they were less well known than herself, nevertheless, they still complained about their first world problems and bragged about the all the awards the received from a few years back. She just agreed, smiled, and nodded; just like her parents wanted her to. This is how you make friends right? She thought anxiously.

Ob:

“Oh, that’s great then?” there was a faint question in her voice. But Calista, nevertheless, let the dark haired boy escort her to the party. It was already full of people, the speakers were producing mellow music… yet. She walked with confidence along with Jon, her heels making bold sounds on the orange-yellow floor as they entered the party. Her face showed a faint, intimidating smile, something that she rarely does. But she feels confident, especially with Mr. Bianchi here.

The bus halted in front of a huge, tall building. “Okay guys,” their adviser said through a megaphone. Everyone silenced. “We have arrived on the hotel we are staying for 4 days. Each one of you will have your own room. As you get off, we’ll give you guys the hotel cards.” the students hollered, some of them pumping their fist on the air. Calista remained quiet on her seat and listened as the adviser talked again. “Now, the first row will get up and get off then the next and next.” the first row get up and get off. Calista sat on the 2nd row, so after the 1st row of students get off, she stood up and followed the girl in front of her. As she get off, a man gave her her galaxy colored suitcase and a hotel card. Written across from it in bold, medium sized letters was 423. Calista walked past them and pulled her shades down to her eyes. The 3pm sun blared below them, merciless.

Calista sighed in relief as she entered the hotel. The cold, comfortable air from the air conditioner welcomed her. The hotel’s lobby was amazing, of course, it’s a 5 star hotel. It was huge, like a grand ballroom. It has two, huge gold chandeliers, an indoor fountain in the center that produced the different colors of the rainbow, a couple of very artistic paintings hung on the wall and red couches with gold laces. There is also a mini fish pond on the corner of the room. The students who first got off crowded in the center of the hotel, apparently waiting for the next announcement. Calista joined them and stood meters away from them. She silently listened to them while her eyes rested on the hotel’s glass door that keeps producing another student. The students near her were talking about how they’ll spend their first night. She also wondered how she will spend her first night– it will probably depend on the activities.

Kay:

Fortune exited the bus, excited for her new adventure in life. Leaving behind her family in New York was a difficult decision to make, pushing for a more independent lifestyle than any woman in her family before her. A smile spread across her face as the group of students entered the hotel, receiving their key cards on the way. 426. She enclosed her hand around the piece of plastic and brought it up to her lips, kissing her hand and wishing for good luck – something her father had always done before a job.

The hotel was extremely extravagant, covered in gold and wonder. As Fortune passed a painting of the Virgin Mary, she stopped and made the sign of the cross over her torso. Pulling her suitcase behind her, she walked around the lobby and examined its beauty. She was used to the dingy shops and apartments of New York. Her father may have been a mafia boss, but he refused to leave the neighborhood for a better home. So they remained where they had since Fortune was a baby, and her father still worked at a pizza place.

Luc:

Lucius walked into the hotel with just two small suitcases. He had always traveled the world but hated carrying much, so he traveled light. All the students were looking at the fish, the furniture, the paintings on the wall or their phone. Lucius, however, was looking at the high ceiling. It had an almost perfect duplication of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel on it. He had seen and studied the real one, so he could see the mistakes, but it was amazingly well done. He opened his jacket and got out the phone his father had given to him: It was no good for more than calling and taking photos, but it was amazing at the latter. It was the best camera phone out there, and Lucius carried it everywhere. The Niagara Falls, Mount Rushmore, The Great Pyramids, it was all on his phone.

TML:

Alexis jumps out of the bus. She’s excited to see what’s in store for her. And she, like most of her peers, hoped that this trip will be an unforgettable experience.
Alexis walked inside the hotel, impressed by it’s architectural design. She carries her luggage with her. Alexis checked her hotel card over and over again, to memorize her room number. 421, it’s easy to memorize but she can’t help but to look at it over and over again.

SA:

Celeste sat on the bus, she slowly slid her finger across the window. Her ring finger was covered dust from the old window. The bus came to a halt, she exited the bus and put her hood on her sweatshirt down to get a better look at the tall building. To her horror, dozens of her classmates faces lit up and started going to her. Oh God….. Even at this school they know who I am. Her parents were extremely famous celebrities, she would attend red carpet events, has been interviewed by the news, even her birth was a huge anouncement to the media. Celeste absolutely hates getting so much attention, she’d rather study, play videogames, participate in sports, and be a normal teenager. She wished her parents could just let her go to a normal school, whatever.

Ob:

Once the students were in one place, their adviser stood in front of them with his megaphones. “Okay, 12th grade. Proceed to your rooms and come back here at..” He stopped and checked his wristwatch, “7:30 pm sharp. We’ll all be having our dinners together. Make sure to wear your grandest outfit for the night!” He announced. The crowd burst into giggles and chats, mostly coming from the girls. “Now, we’ll let 20 students first go inside the elevator then the next batch and the next.” The hotel staff guided the students near the elevator. It was huge and made of glass where you can see through it.

Calista pasted herself on the wall, her suit case standing in her sneakers’ edge. She let the other students pass by her. She doesn’t mind of being last, she’ll arrive there anyway. And, she’ll also have a time to appreciate the room. It was so beautiful she wondered why her father hadn’t made negotiations to buy this hotel. Or was it theirs? Her parents never really pushed her to be part of their business, especially that she’s not the heir. Though,Moshe sometimes spectate business meetings when she’s bored and attend formal dinners and parties.

SA:

She briskly walks past her classmates who recognized her and stepped into the grande hotel and stared in awe. She walked silently around the lobby to pass time until she would hear further announcement. The lobby was glorious, gorgeous ceiling paintings, fountains with detailed sculptures, and paintings thats eyes watch you no matter what angle she happened to be at. Her long sundress caught on a mounted doorstopper she begun to trip over her dress before she caught herself. A few heads turned around because she made this big tapping noise when she caught herself. Great, now people know where I am she thought.
“Your Celeste, right?” A stout girl said excitedly.
Celeste goes here?” Her taller friend exclaims.
A small crowd of students surround her, asking her many questions about her parents. Celeste’s face flushes red underneath her heavy makeup.
Students start to fill up the elevator, she joins in too. She spots a girl with blondish hair, maybe it’s Calista, Celeste has heard of before throuh the other students.
Maybe I should make friends with her, she seems nice, right? Ok, act normal and friendly. You got this….

TMI:

Alexis noticed how people went crazy over somebody. One of her schoolmate, Celeste or something else that start with C. A famour actress maybe, Alexis don’t really follow gossip and news about celebrity. She’s her father daughter, after all. All she read about is about politics and international news.
Rather than grouping around her, people… Make some distance with her. Well, indeed that occasionally men wearing black suit would follow her arouns but not this time (or at least as long as she know).

Alexis make into the elevator, eager to see the hotel hallway and room design.

SA:

Maybe another day? There is too many people here right now, if I talk to one person then they’ll all expect me to talk everyone. For now I’ll just answer any non-personal questions until I get to my room. Man, this has been the longest minute ever.
The elevator slowly rises up to the different floors, Celeste liked to see the numbers indicating the floor level change, there was something peaceful about that. While answering some questions and being introduced to some of the more popular students on the elevator her eyes darted around examining each of the students. She saw this girl give a curious look towards her for a second, the girl was with a few other classmates, she noticed that about 1/6 of the students in the elevator didn’t know who her parents were and boy, was she glad. She held on to the metallic hand rail, her hand felt the elevator halt and the doors slowly opened to reveal a hallway.

Ob:

Calista noticed Celeste looking at her, everyone knows her. However, Calista pretended she didn’t see her. When the time came for the last batch to go inside the elevator, Calista moved and joined the other students. She was the last one to enter the elevator, thus, she stood near the glass door. The elevator ascended; Calista waited patiently. Each time the elevator passes a floor, the lobby always have different design. It was elegant, unique and gorgeous; it was full of chandeliers, gold, silver, white, red and black. The elevator pinged and halted in the 7th floor. The glass door spread open and Calista stepped out. She looked in awe as she stood on the floor’s lobby. The center had some Greek goddess statue fountain, around it are beds of daises and roses.

Calista headed straight and started to search for her room, 423. The first two doors that stood across from each other were 400 and 401– she have a long way to go. As she started to walk on the marbled floor, the hallway was full with laughter and it made her assured and comfortable. She turned right, then turned left and finally found her door. She scanned the hotel key on the sensor on the door knob. The light became green and produced a ping sound, Calista twisted the knob and opened her room’s door. She stick out a hand and searched the wall for the switch. But she immediately drew back her hand as she felt something cold touch or rather, graze, the back of her palm. She knew it was not an object, she was certain, since it was soft yet cold, very cold that it sent chills on her spine. Nervously, she stick her hand again and tapped the wall for the switch, after a second, she found it and the room’s lights turned on.

Fort:

Fortune learned that her victim’s name was Lucius. She apologized again and again, but he kept reassuring her that it was okay. They talked about the amazing art on the ceiling, and he asked her if she had ever been to the Sistine Chapel. Fortune blushed and looked at her feet.

“To be honest, I’ve never been outside of Brooklyn until I got accepted into this school.”

After their conversation, Fortune made her way to her room. Upon opening the door, she was in awe. The whole room was the size of her apartment back in Brooklyn. After the door shut behind her, she let out an excited screech. Running towards the bed, she jumped on it and landed on her back. She ran her fingers over the soft fabric of the comforter and breathed in the clean scent. She was really gonna love this.

SA:

She dragged her suitcases through the hallway. ” Need any help?” Asked the same stout girl she talked to in the lobby. ” No thanks, I’m fine.” Celeste responded, walking to her presidential suite. She unlocked the door using a room card, a small green light lit up and she heard the door’s locks making a clicking noise. Her suite was fairly large; it had a small kitchenette, living room, wide balcony, a master bedroom, a HUGE bathroom, and walk in closet. This must be the presidential suite. Celeste rolled her eyes, she honestly rather have a smaller room since it makes no sense for one person to require so much space and luxury. She has tried to tell her parents that she feels wierd about getting so much stuff and special rooms, her parents would always say in excuse that the extra space was for her “friends”. Celeste actually doesn’t have any friends, although sometimes she has to interact with other children of celebrities and politicians to get good press.

(Time skip to 7pm, 30 minutes before the party)

Calista stood in front of the bathroom’s wide mirror, she wore her bathrobe and her blonde hair was wrapped in a towel. A small case of make-up was wide open in the counter and a bunch of rollers sat beside it. She started applying make-up: foundation, black-eyeliner, mascara, light red eyeshadow, a small blush-on and a scarlet red lipstick. She also put on a dark forest green contacts. After she was done with her make-up, she unwrapped her hair. Using the blower, she let it dry first and then wore the rollers.

While waiting for the rollers to do its work, she stepped out of the bathroom. She picked up her outfit from the bed which was full of other clothes. The dress she picked was black, fitting, short and sexy. It has a turtleneck that is see-through until her collarbone, the sleeves were until her wrist and they are also see-through. The chest part of the dress until its end is the only part that is not see-through. Calista stepped out of her bathrobe and wore the dress. It hugged her slender body and emphasized her S line shape. The dress ended meters above her knees. She then paired it with a black boot heels that ended on her ankles, It has a ribbon on the side where small diamonds traced its outline. Its heels were long, thin and sharp. Calista then proceeded to the accessories. She wore a pair of ruby dangling earrings, and a diamond ring which she inserted in her middle finger. The stone of the ring was small and is in a heart shape.

After a couple of minutes, Calista went back to the bathroom and removed the rollers, her blonde hair was wavy and soft. She let the other side of her blonde hair fall into her shoulder while she left the other side resting on her back. She stepped out of the bathroom and grabbed her purse in the bed. It was plain silver and is made of silk. She stuffed in her phone, her wallet, a handkerchief, her foundation, lipstick, a small perfume and her breath spray– a lady always bring breath sprays.

Calista closed her purse and looked up at the clock, 7:27 pm. Calista went to the door and removed the room keycard to its home, making every light in the room turn off. She stepped out of the room, locked the door and put her keycard on her purse.

Earlier on the bus….

Jon had been the last to make his way down the bus from the back. This common mode of transportation was something of a disgraceful way to have to pull up at the hotel where the students would be spending the next four days. With his eyes shaded behind dark ray ban glasses, Jon sneered at the bus driver, who had been waiting patiently for the straggler to leave. Approaching the driver, Jon noted something familiar about him. He was an older male, about sixties and with a large bald patch that was covered by the world’s worst comb over. The driver reminded him of one of his father’s chauffeurs over the years. Badly dressed and portly, reeking of cigarette smoke. Clearly, the driver was dying to have a break so that he could enjoy a few with some whiskey. Jon reached into his jacket pocket and tossed the driver a fifty dollar bill, patting the man on the shoulder in a condescending way. “Thanks for keeping it running…” Not bothering to wait for a reply, Jon jumped down the last step onto the pavement, and headed inside the hotel, where a porter was waiting. Giovanni’s father had taken the liberty of arranging for his son’s luggage to arrive ahead of the group, and of course it meant that Jon didn’t have to lift a finger. The porter snapped his heels together on seeing the young well dressed man enter. This had to be Master Bianchi. He handed Jon his room key and then gestured to where the lifts were. Already he was well behind the others, but thankfully the porter knew the room that Giovanni was staying in, as well as the night’s activities. The porter handed Jon a slip of paper. Taking it, Jon took off his sunglasses and carefully folded them, placing them in his pocket as he waited for the lift. Reading it, Jon’s right eyebrow raised slightly.

“Party at 7.30pm? Really? So on top of having to ride in the bus with these clowns, I now have to socialize with them as well?” Jon didn’t even look at the porter, to seek his answer. The doors to the lift opened, and he strode in. Huffing as he did so. In truth, he would be much happier to spend the night watching the sports channel, than having to dress up in a tux and put on airs and graces that he clearly didn’t have. The lift went up to the fourth floor, where it opened out and the porter pointed to the right. “Room 419, Sir.” Jon swaggered down the hall, finally coming to a stop outside his appointed room. Swiping the card, the green light indicator came on, and Jon pushed the door open, with the porter following in with his luggage. The room was quite spacious and well appointed. All the mod cons that you would appreciate in such an establishment. While Jon went to go look out the balcony window, the porter stacked Jon’s bags, before coughing to signal that he wished to be tipped. Well, he had done his job and deserved something. Taking out a rolled up wad of notes, he then placed a ten dollar note in the porter’s outstretched hand, which he took gracefully. “If you need anything else, Sir?” He paused, half expecting something, but Jon simply waved him away dismissively. If he wanted anything, it would be the TV guide and the room service menu. Once the porter left the room, Jon checked his watch for the time. Enough for a nap, and then shower and change. Jon flopped backwards, landing on the bed – staring at the ceiling.

Time skip – 6.59pm

Giovanni emerged from the bathroom with a towel around his waist, his hair still wet from the hot shower. His Italian designer suit was hanging on the door, and he had a pair of shoes that had been polished and ready, along with his smalls and crisp white shirt. One thing about Jon was that when he went out, he always looked good. Even if he really would rather laze about the hotel, or sneak down to the bar. Amazing what he could get away with with his father’s connections. Dressing himself reasonably quickly, he was soon fixing his tie, when he flashed a glance at the time. Fixing on his jacket, he slid on his Rolex watch, and then placed his wallet on the inside pocket of his jacket. The key card was on the edge of his night stand, and that was the last thing he had to bring. One last look in the mirror, and he gave a light shrug of the shoulders. It was now 7.28pm. Great…he was going to be fashionably late. Stepping out the door of his suite, he emerged in the corridor close to the same time as a blonde haired girl that was done up to the nines. Pocketing the key card to the room, he showed her a half smile.

“You with the school?” He may well have not recognized her from those on the bus, but if she was a student, she sure scrubbed up well. “Need an escort?” Jon offered his arm anyways.
