One Hell of an Offer – Hell’s Kitchen : SS

The Prince of Gluttony is given an offer that is very hard to refuse.

Scene setting – Hell’s Kitchen : SS.

Co-written with Zetta, Moo, Artie, Frids and Aion.

Zetta:  The air was thick with atrocity, untold badness swarmed this place like locust. Blitz couldn’t put his finger on anyone’s scent right now, there was far too many others in the wind, even with the door busted open leading a gentle breeze consistently throughout the place there was no immediate change in what he was catching whiff of. Having already deduced a hint of death, there was too much to be normal, it was amazing to him that the others had not been hacking up. Since it had barely been a day since he last ate, at the ball, he was certainly capable of doing so, only through consideration for his surroundings that he managed to restrain himself. Eren seemed idle, oh well, the other man aligned with Gluttony would begin moving about on his own as usual. Despite this allied force, the likes of Blitz was boundless compared to mortals, not out of any desire to turn on authority, but because he was free completely. “I’m parkin’ it here, Boss. This place creeps me out..” He said simply, wanting to post himself up against the other side of the wall from Victoria, the woman appeared to take solace in current loneliness.

So without another word he would begin walking backwards until getting on the opposite side of doorway. Then, before creating any distance between Beelzebub and the Doctor, who had just approached the three of them, he heard the addressing of a title. Prince of Gluttony… Out of everything, those were the words the male deity hung onto. Prior to coming into Hell’s Kitchen, Blitz had taken steps into the place after the blonde assassin, he had a similar demeanor that she appeared to, generally uncaring. After hearing that last bit though, he acknowledged the prince he followed as someone who was not just strong and capable of forcing change, but one who others as well made note of. The doctor bowed then, just as the deformed man in his service had prior, this would be the first time Blitz felt proud to be aligned with someone. While close-range, he then took in as much information as he could about the doctors capabilities, while remaining unaware of exactly how science defined the doctor, he at least knew of any supernatural abilities under his possession. From there he turned towards Victoria, already knowing some of her arsenal he wanted to see why exactly the glutton prince had come to her directly, giving her ultimatums and clawing her from Anarchy Division, instead of just paying her for a temp-service as a body guard.

“How long have you and the prince exchanged like that?” He said inquisitively, but also nonchalant. When he came to assist Eren, Victoria was already at Beelzebub’s defense. Yet here she was actively avoiding a supportive role to the man, caked on top of their words to each other earlier he already suspected a serious bad-blood between them. This could easily be explained if she told him something like ‘long story’ though, speaking seemed to be a problem for her, so he was already not expecting much. Realistically though,he wanted to kill time without leaving the building and without stepping any further inside.

His face twisted at Victoria’s response, referring to him as a bug which she intended to smash, she mentioned him being on a paper. “Whoa, whoa.. You almost upset me just then.” Spoken without even the slightest emotion, since he already had what he wanted in her being with him, there was no need to be angry regardless of what she said. To express this, he told her differently, with an evident tone of a liar, or someone who did not care, the order of things was all in his hands. If not, her words translated to him that to her, the prince was merely an inconvenience, in accordance to the words of praise he had just given to that of an insect. The beetle, her intended taunt became verbal proof of what he was saying, that while she apparently belittled him from the start, he had effortlessly severed her connection to Anarchy Division. Scoffing to show an attitude he moved ahead of her still..

Beelzebub was first welcomed by Igor, after first greeting the hunchbacked man, taking in formalities that were customary to only that of the Seven Princes. Even that of nobles paled in comparison to the gratitude necessary to show to one of them, the demonic glutton specifically had this treatment directly after his birth. It was odd when he was approached so casually by that man in the Town Square, but he decided then that if he was not preoccupied he would have gone to eat him. Therefore casting the disrespect off as a fluke. In this regard he chuckled lightly, until that of the Doctor appeared, showing up with a punctual welcoming that overshadowed his assistant’s presence completely. The Prince nodded at the address before watching the bow take place, the same time that he was relayed to by one of his new subordinates, Blitz. Beel’s hand was still in pocket, and so to ‘shoo’ off that advance he shrugged his shoulders. “Just don’t make it hard to find you.” Even with being told that the man would remain at the entrance/exit, people always had a way of doing their own thing, his words then was a reply to that. Just then, the Doctor would return to his standing straight position, his shoes clicked together still in what would seem to be a prepped stance..

“Huhuh-” A chuckle, but in his dark, deep, low-tone voice, even that came out altered to sound rather menacing in nature.. Now that the two main players were looking eye-to-eye it was time to get things moving again, first order of business, the Doctor caught on quick and already moved to lead the man down a corridor. They would be headed to the main office, thankfully without any apparent delay. “My eyes were bigger than my stomach.” A play on his represented sin, the prince had indeed bit off more than he could chew choosing to go head to head with Mammon with nothing but a fist. Overconfidence left him with a reminder of that battle, but with his friend dead, there was not even a means of getting payback. Though he would find himself tearing down Lydia, and her Kingdom, just to spit on what legacy that man left behind. Nothing personal, as Greed would be one of the last most likely, with it’s diminished army.. Beelzebub was just hungry for more.

Moo:  Narcissa was not a creature to sleep. Being up all night, she could only lay there and be a good monster for the Doctor. Otherwise, who would entertain her? She did it herself, often reading through books on anatomy or other cool things the Doctor did with the bodies they collected. How long before they would raise an army of people like Loc? Certainly not as special as she was with the powers she’d been granted. Her feet kicked silently and slowly as she laid there with a book in front of her, humming quietly. Nobody else was in the room; it was a time for her to be subtle. Until the door popped open. She swore she heard it, but when she looked back, it was closed again. The frankensteinian monster merely shrugged and continued her humming and reading. There was a muffled yell from the hall, grabbing her attention at long last and she sat herself up, peering back at the door. Narcissa knew it was early in the morning by now, so maybe the Doctor was finally awake. She stood to walk toward the door, opening it slowly to look out. To no avail. But she did hear Loc and Igor having their own fun in the Doctor’s chambers. Her eyebrows lifted as she listened, and finally giggled, grinning to herself before she slipped out of the room to make her way to the chambers. But oops, too slow. Narcissa looked around, continuing toward the front of the building as she slid the lab coat on over her body and buttoned it around the waist. “GOOD MORNING!” she nearly bellowed out to the rest of the building, grinning. From the noises and chatter coming from different directions, it was apparent that the Doctor was busy. Maybe the entire crew would have their work cut out for them.

Frid:  After instructing Loc to simply set the door aside he then motioned for the gigantic lout to head into the foyer. Seemingly excited to meet a new friend Loc set the heavy door off to the side before lumbering his way toward the two men. Once he had positioned himself accordingly Igor launched into a sing song like introduction. “Loc…is his name. The latest from the factory floor. Fresh off the field of Wrath. A real keeper.” Intrigued by the hunchback’s words Delsin took a step forward and eyed the creature briefly. Judging by the various body parts and stitching covering his entire body the rumors Delsin had heard about the Doctor were true. Not only could mend the wounded he could also bring them back from the dead too! As further confirmation to the bounty hunter’s suspicions a Voice rang out saying “I made him.”

The Doctor had just reached the end of the stairs tugging at his jacket sleeves before noticing the door had been knocked clean off its hinges.“We have a bell, you know.”The Doctor added, before extending his hand towards Delsin and introducing himself. Glad to finally meet the eccentric Doctor the bounty hunter took his hand and shook it firmly. “Delsin Rowe, perhaps I’ll use the doorbell on the next visit.” he retorted casually before Loc interrupted with a low growling sound. Shortly after dark shadows began entering the doorway and then the foyer. Delsin quickly released the Doctor’s hand and looked to the entryway curious as to the cause of the disturbance.

Much to his dismay the bounty hunter saw none other than the Prince of Gluttony himself step into the room. In addition the Prince had also brought a few other travelers along with him. Of all the royal princes of hell Beel was probably the most self-righteous of the bunch and expected all to kneel to his greatness. Right on cue Igor and the Doctor smiled at the gelatinous prince and greeted him happily. Delsin on the other hand had decided to skip the formalities and simply lean up against a nearby wall. he then pulled out a small pack of cigarettes he’d stashed in the breast pocket of his jacket. With little care for anyone else in the room Delsin placed one of the slender white cylinders between his lips and promptly lit the other end with a few sparks from his fingers. With the cigarette now alight he took took few deep breaths allowing the noxious smoke to fill his lungs. Enjoying the taste he held his breath for a moment then released a cloud of thick black smoke as he exhaled. Once the Doctor had finished exchanging pleasantries with his new guests he motioned for the group to follow to the main office. Without a word Delsin peeled himself from the wall and headed for the office behind the others, all the while still puffing on his cigarette carelessly.

Aion:

Eren had little to no care in the world at this point due to the many things he seemed to be involved in, and the thing he was involved in. It was rare for him to be so active but being this active is something that could be worthwhile due to him following a constant hunger in Beel, and a powerful fight in Blitz. Just being around two extremely strong people was enough to get his blood going and get him motivated to start something but at this point it was his place to be starting anything but to simply be the finisher in whatever Beel decided to do for himself. Eren had been following Blitz and the Prince along with the girl for sometime until they reached a structure. Never coming into this place before or knowing of its existence he simply ignored it until they were at the doors to it in which a question was asked of him from Blitz. “Nope I haven’t actually. I never even knew this place existed here, and I’m assuming you had no idea of this place either since you’re asking if I’ve ever been here.” Shaming his head he slid his hands into his pockets. The sights that he had saw when he actually did step into this place was beyond foul, the stench of blood and death was almost toxic but to him this was normal, the smell of death and the aroma of blood lingering was something he loved especially since it was a rarity for him to even act in such a way. Enjoying the smell so much he I baled deeply through his nostrils, inhaling so hard he sucker the air out of the room for a brief moment before exhaling with a small smile. He was about to say something to Beel when a man who creepiness was beyond a level he had never felt before, an uneasy feeling that made him ball his first but release it just as quick as Eren wasn’t here to fight but to await lord Beel’s arm to either be heal or recieve a new one all together. Releasing a soft sigh he was now leaning up against the wall with Blitz now, he glanced st Victoria but she seemed to have a stick up her ass for some reason or another but most likely due to what had occurred in the Town earlier. Chuckling go himself he closed his eyes for a moment to catch his thoughts on what was happening.

Following a gluttonous prince, following Blitz, a brute of a female who doesn’t speak any English, a doctor who is far beyond any level of creepiness he’s seem so far, and an unknown agenda that Beel has yet to reveal to anyone. Releasing a soft sigh he glanced up to see that Beel was following after the doctor now. Using the air waves in this place to hear the words Beel had been saying Eren relaxed at the door with Blitz and would stay idle here until the Prince would return with or without the doctor.

Finally feeling at ease after all this time his breathing was regulated now and seemed normal but that was until his heart nearly skipped a beat at the loud noise of someone in this place, not being able to pinpoint the exact position of this person was annoying but did they have to be so loud? Shaking his head slowly he tilted his head to Victoria as Blitz had asked her question, and then his head titled to Blitz. “Do you think she’s this angry because she doesn’t get none? I’ve heard that can happen, or do you think she’s mad because of something? Maybe frustrated about something internally?” He remembered the sly remark she gave him back in the town so he’d take the perfect opportunity to get under her skin in any way possible. She was female with way too much confidence in her own ability as if she couldn’t get overwhelmed by anyone here if they truly wanted, not focusing on her any longer he bag snapping his finger to create fire, and destroy the fire on his fingertips as a source of enjoyment until Beel came back from whatever he’s deciding to do. Smelling smoke Eren looked I the direction of the man who was smoking a cigarette and sighed, all that harmful smoke that nobody wants to inhale, Eren pointing his finger at the man fired off a bullet sized fireball at the cigarette in an attempt to get him to drop the thing or at least get somewhere that nobody has to smell that. It would just be better for everyone as well as the man to just put out his cigarette and move on with his day until they leave at least.

Hell’s Kitchen

For such an early hour, business appeared brisk. First the arrival of the gentleman by the name of Delsin Rowe. The Doctor had not encountered this chap before, but he was well mannered enough, even buying into the Doctor’s sarcastic comment that he might consider using the doorbell when he next came to visit the Lab. Word must be spreading about the Doctor’s work, for Deslin to have come to meet with the Doctor personally – and that can be counted as a good thing. Any publicity being good publicity. The Doctor was about to ask the man as to the nature of his visit, when the Prince of Gluttony and his entourage entered the building. There are certain rules of behavior that are established throughout the many realms of Hell, and respect for the Princes – regardless of sin was paramount. One wrong word….one foolish gesture and your entire business could literally go up in flames. Wilhelm was sure to get back to attending to Deslin after he was sure to greet the Prince and his party with a dignified response. A throwback from his German heritage, he acted much like his grandfather would have when meeting a dignitary.

The Doctor’s eyes went from the Prince, to each in his party. A very large chap that could not hide the look of disapproval for what was either the decor, or possibly the smell. The lab was like a catacomb of various buildings and underground chambers that housed thousands of rotting corpses. Many were kept on ice, but…with the recent war in wrath, they still had many to catalog from before the Greed ball. The smell of death was not to everyone’s tastes, but the Doctor had grown accustom to it. A woman had followed along behind the gentlemen, but she was quite vocal in her sarcasm – though it had nothing to do with the lab nor its staff. That was more of a private matter, and was treated just as such. The final man to enter took an interest in the Prince’s dealing with the Doctor. Perhaps a loyal follower, but he showed little to no interest in the lab either. This was just another port of call, before they returned to their own realm. The gathering hovered about the entrance, the first male suggesting that he would wait there, probably so he wouldn’t be sickened by the horrid aroma. They were just damn lucky that Loc was no longer suffering from the effects of the garlic pizza. One blast from his anus and it was enough to melt your face off.

Much to the Doctor’s surprise however, Narcissa appeared – her voice booming out towards all assembled with her cheery greeting. The Doctor glanced upward and looked about for Shamus Gold, who thankfully had not reappeared. Seeing his Frankenstein female creation, he waved her down to meet with the new guests.

“Narcissa. Would you be so kind as to offer the Prince’s minions some refreshments. Oh…and get Deslin here an ashtray.” The smell of cigarette smoke having reached him. Amazing how the Doctor’s nose was quite sensitive to it. Igor happened to notice that the last guest to arrive had aimed a small fire ball like charge towards the cigarette that Deslin was holding. Would the man really consider such behavior in the Doctor’s foyer? What was worse was that Narcissa could get caught in the crossfire.

The Doctor knew that the Prince would hunger for something much more than the odd tray of finger food and chicken nuggets. Walking into his main office, the priority was to ensure his guests were all catered to – be it food, drink…or in the Prince’s case a new arm. He happened to make a throwaway comment that his eyes were bigger than his stomach. This must have had to do with how he came to lose his arm in the first place. The Doctor did not know the details, but he did know that he was the man that could do something about it.

Going into the main office, was like entering a strange specimen collection room, matched with a large desk, rows of book cases, and tanks that were filled with all manner of creatures. Life sized and suspended in special aminoic like fluid. The many creatures looked to be sleeping almost. It was clear that the Doctor had some very strange hobbies. If the Prince and Deslin happened to notice Narcissa, the Doctor would comment.

“Narcissa was….my first attempt at resurrection. Though she is a special case.” Wilhelm did not want to elaborate further on that, as it brought back so many haunting memories. If Deslin and the Prince entered the inner sanctum of the Doctor’s office, they would be offered a large leather chair each, as the Doctor prepared to help each in turn. The most obvious was of course the Prince, since he was visibly missing an arm. Leaning against his desk, he folded his arms, studying the damaged limb. Wilhelm thought for a moment as he considered the options that were available.

“My Lord Beelzebub, I imagine you wish to have something unique and more useful in place of the arm you have lost. Come to think of it, I may have something that would only add to your great power.” Unfolding his arms, he walked around his desk and then pulled open a drawer that held many cream coloured files. It was a good thing that he was so particular when it came to cataloging body parts, especially at a time like this. “I am quite capable of building a cybernetic replacement that doubles as an arm cannon…..HOWEVER…I was thinking of something more solid.”Wilhem gripped his right hand into a fist as he said the word ‘solid’, then pulled out a picture of exactly what he had in mind. He closed his eyes for a moment, after he had stared at the image on the paper.

“This…is known as the Right hand of doom.” The arm was reddish in colour and looked to be made from rock, with special markings on the sides. “Don’t ask me how I got it. Let’s just say, I have many associates on the black market willing to trade anything for a price.” the Doctor then passed the picture over to Beelzebub, waiting to see his reaction.“First and foremost is its durability, it is made of a rock-like substances which makes it very hard and impossible to injure. It’s also shown mystic properties, from the reports I have.” If this was a sales pitch, the Doctor was being a real pro. “From testing, it has unharnessed levels of power, that are yet to be discovered. Barely tapped the surface on that, my Lord.” With an arm like this…imagine what it could do to the balance of the Hell Princes. For what Beelzebub had lost, this would be a very rewarding replacement.

This was why the Doctor was so good at what he did. Research and constantly striving to learn as much as he could about the lore and availability of useful creatures and body parts for his experiments.

“The best part….it works even without its original host.” What more could you want?

As the Prince was left to ponder this interesting possible replacement, the Doctor shifted his attention over to Deslin. “I imagine you are not here to invest in spare parts.” Wilhelm had not noticed a deformity upon the man’s person. “If you are selling bodies, we do have a pick up service. We aim to please.”

Artie:  Victoria gazed off into the distance, fuming quietly. Great. More people to see her shame of being associated with the bumbling giant. She spoke no words back to Blitz, nor Eren, already angered enough. As if she really needed this in her life. She was second in Command of the Anarchy Division. No prince owned her. No inferior being such as the troublemaking fire man could make her flinch. If he wanted to make dirty jokes and degrade her, fine. But she would not stoop to his level. The blonde assassin gazed aimlessly at the room’s contents, not quite registering what she was saying but gazing anyway… “Be back at castle.” Her words should have been mumbled, but instead were loud and steady. Proud. As if she couldn’t give any less of a fuck on his response – which, frankly, she couldn’t. In fact, she’d love very much to blow his brains out. “Use your little insects to find me. They are all you have.”

That comment also insulted Eren and Blitz, insinuating that they were no more than insects. How dare she talk to them in such a voice, you ask? Because, frankly, she could not muster a fuck to give. With those words Victoria would open the large doors of the Laboratory, walking out and not even bothering to close them behind her. She’d go to the Kingdom, but not willingly. And not soon, anyway. With his damned spies, Victoria felt she didn’t have a choice – and that was something that irritated her more than anything else ever could.

Zetta:  The room echoed with plague, with even the slightest turns of his head the Glutton Prince could identify the numerous horrors in the Laboratory section of Hell’s Kitchen. It seemed that no matter where his red oculars took him, he was constantly absorbing another sighting of terror. His walk was steady at first, but then became slightly awkward when he began twisting his body to face different directions, his legs following after. At this time, the only one still walking nearby was Eren, who had then immediately halted his own moving forward to allow Beelzebub to aimlessly look around at his surroundings. The one who was not so attentive, similar to the prince in that he did not particularly care for the others in the room except for the Doctor, was the man who visited this establishment before the ravenous demon himself. Delsin, the rumored bounty hunter, unintentionally came right into Beel’s pathway, the one he had personally been paying no mind to. Where normally, the two beings would collide, bringing them both apart in an initial forceful budge: Beelzebub was far bigger, and more immense in terms of mass and strength. Beel would bump into the bounty hunter, and push him aside. To which, the air itself parted itself from the quickness when he felt something collide with his large body, instantly pausing his every motion to confront this annoyance..

“Delsin, huh.” He said, with a light snarl. “Watch yourself, or i’ll eat you.” Without any knowledge of who or what the person was, he threatened to indulge himself with their entirety, this was mutually a warning as well, to make the man then acknowledge who it was beside him. Regardless of the response, Beelzebub would turn away with a rather regal look, and decide to walk forward, ignoring the presence thereafter to continue on his own whims. Unlike before however, he was now alert to the surrounding, having been inconvenienced with his own lack of concerns at the time. Following after Dr. Willhelm without missing a beat. Upon passing through the double-doors, being led by the Doctor himself, Beelzebub was opened up to many different ideas. All of which originated from what he was newly introduced to, entrapped within a building of glorious experiments, the man was almost panting like a dog with all that the other man before him had been so committed to. “You’ve really done well in presentation, Doc, I would like a facility just as productive as this in my Kingdom.” Spoken true, and at the same time Victoria had vocalized her parting, which was smart considering what Beel had told her prior to getting here. The doctor’s good impressions had blinded him completely to the blonde’s presence. So he said a bit on this impression, smiling now, to have unwarranted linings of corpses all in one place to test out he would definitely find some ways of genetic manipulation. That very thought consuming him more and more with each passing second. This would speak to Beelzebub’s character, his reaction to Delsin was how a ‘typical’ royal would act in such a circumstance with someone they did not know. His reaction to the Doctor was more of his concern, and so had deserved his appreciation so that he might be able to attain something he wanted..

As they first past into the room where the prince would be intrigued the most: They were welcomed in with an unexpected cheeriness from another assistant, this one female and not hardly a sight for sore eyes unlike the others he had previously been introduced to. Save for that tall man who had been fumbling with the door earlier, prior to the Prince’s arrival with his own group. Shortly after laying eyes on the nurse he had received a very similar introduction as when he first met Igor, just another creation at first, until the being adopted their own personality over time. This one already seemed to be bursting with energy. His eyes lit up upon catching wind of an animated corpse before him. “You resurrected her?!.. Was it with magic, or science?” His kind had only just begun to find themselves breaching the threshold that humans had already dived into that was technology. Although barely understood, he did know that workings of mechanics had done some amazing things in foreign lands, one such was with the Doctor’s experiments. An answer wasn’t needed immediately, because it was then that Beelzebub was introduced to yet another fascination when Willhelm spoke, first of cybernetics, something beyond what he personally knew of, and then when the other man bawled his fist. The word ‘solid’ made the prince antsy, it became apparent that the Doctor had something special in mind, as he should with a highly frequent and paying customer. “The Hand of Doom?” As it was probably originally called, since it could be potentially be modified to fit onto either hand, had rubbed the glutton prince in all of the right ways. Every word spoken of the item was to his greatest desire, the Doctor knew all of the right words, the thing was sold before he had even finished, but the other man did well to explain it’s qualities so that the consumer ate it all up.

As usual of Beel though.. This called for some thinking about, the Doctor mentioned it’s usefulness without it’s original host, a pondering concept to be looked into while taking a seat on the lounge chair prepared for him. A more thoughtful consumer would have needed an explanation on what that entailed, and knowledge of whatever mystics enchanted the item itself, as far as truer capabilities and limits. However, for the glutton, all he needed to know was that it could replace his missing hand, and that with it he would be at a greater advantage. He was already given his cake with that knowledge, and all of it’s selling points was that cake being fed slowly to him. Ideal for the plans he was setting into motion. With paper in-hand on it’s schematics, the prince became so excited that he leaped from his chair, moments after having it setup for him. It was slightly crumbled in his hand, obviously from the unrestrained excitement. “Yes!.. I want it! Where is it!” Like a kid in a candy store. But his voice was still filled with base, deep with masculinity as an example of the man from whence it came. Beelzebub would have shoved the hand onto the bone of his forearm with no hesitation if he could have, most likely the reason why it was not put before him yet. When his seller had taken to cater to the other guest, it left the prince jittery since he had already come to his decision, not instantly though.. Where had that wonderful opportunity gone, and why!?

Blitz had already taken to crossing his legs, his head was up watching the Prince of Gluttony move off with Eren, and the other man he had not come to know just yet. Instead of approaching that one for his identity though, the man himself was taking to a conversation with Victoria, the intelligent kinetic was a misty haze of questions. All of which were towards her being here, allied with Gluttony. He took no part in their engagement after all. It would be a challenge to get her to open up, he knew, because her aura of fury, even while hiding these feelings from her facial expression. Every mannerism and word she gave up was one of disrespect or disdain of some kind, most would take this as an individual who is simply bitter but there was very likely a heavy brand of honest loyalty invoked here. Eren had decided to stay behind momentarily, shooting a comment as the blonde lady for being inactive, coincidentally the demigod had only recently come from living in that frame of reference. He and Astarte shared a long time in relations with one another, it was why her disappearing act had him so alert at first. Out of trust, these thoughts had been disbanded almost entirely, but now he was faced with them again after the revival of a topic. With a simple sigh, he reminded himself of the words he thought up then, and was right back on track with the verbal exchange between Eren, Victoria, and Blitz himself..

Or at least what it would have been if the woman was not so taken aback by the words spoken, she removed herself entirely from the conversation. Before she stayed back at the entrance to distance herself from Beelzebub, now she had lifted herself off of the wall and left the building itself. Saying only to Beel that she would be at the castle. It seemed unlikely that she would accomplish anything, but even more frustration if strapped to her lonesome. Getting in the castle wouldn’t be an easy task either considering she did not seem especially powerful, if she marched to the gates in a huff then she would be subject to attack. “I’ll make sure sure she doesn’t do anything stupid..” He muttered as he rose himself from the wall as well.. Similar to how he was attacked by Sloth in attendance at Greed, things just happened when it came to the seven Kingdoms in Hell, this being the prominent reason for his own joining up with Gluttony, having a name that held weight backing his every motive. With this thought he put to fingers to his forehead in a quick solute to Eren as he would take off after the woman. “I’ll make sure she doesn’t do anything stupid, guess we’ll be meeting at the castle man.” He said, a wide grin overwhelming most of the bottom-half of his face. Blitz took off with rapid-flight, with two guards gone, this left Eren to be the only one still at Beelzebub’s side. The black-phoenix’ presence was needed though while their prince had only a single hand in his defense, his mind daunted over to the possibility of Eren earning a higher rank than he, when the time came for the prince to actually assign jobs to his new officers. He decided to be uncaring about it, so long as he got to fight without leisure. Right now he would be right after Victoria.

Moo:  Narcissa cheerfully made her way toward the Doctor as she was waved over. Glancing around at the guests curiously, she grinned again and waved as a simple means to greet everyone simultaneously. Her head turned as Wilhelm addressed her, nodding. “Sure, Doctor.” The girl hummed a tune while she turned to let herself out, hearing his statement as the door closed behind her. A shrug of her shoulders. Narcissa was his first creation, yes. But she was still impressive. Despite her seemingly overly-bright personality and simple-mindedness, she was still capable of a few feats anyone had yet to see. Or, anyone but the Doctor himself, at least.

Grabbing an ashtray for the man named Deslin was easy enough. Narcissa’s eyes wandered about the room when she rejoined it, ashtray in one hand, glass in another. Conversation was still going on–something about a Hand of Doom. The frankensteinian monster made a long, low whistle at the sound of the name. It was an impressive thing the Doctor had in store. For him to offer it to Gluttony meant some good business in the future, if he was in fact able to throw the sales pitch successfully. She looked up at the towering prince; taller than even herself, standing at six feet. A slight shrug of her shoulders and she walked over to Deslin with a smile. “Here ya go.” She offered the tray, lifting her hand with it flat in her palm…just in time for a small bullet-size flame to whizz right above it toward the man’s cigarette. Without actually shrieking, Narcissa was quick to jump back with widened eyes and a rather loud gasp. Hopefully the flame hadn’t caught Deslin or any flammables behind him. Narcissa turned to glare at whoever the culprit was. Yes–glare. Fire brought out some of the worst in her, after all.

We follow Valmont and Ruby as the Ambassador gives the young hooded mute a tour of the Embassy.  All good intentions however bring back memories, that the girl cannot suppress.

Scene setting: The Embassy of Hell – Seven Sins series.

Co-written with Zu.

Zu: This place was amazing; everywhere Ruby went, Valmont had something that would show off just how wealthy he truly was. Just by his house alone, Ruby knew the kind of man Valmont was. Without words to speak, Ruby could see people in a far different light than others who could speak. She was very observant, and even if she was distracted, it didn’t mean she was paying attention. Despite these flaws, Ruby still loved Valmont the way he was. Without his help, she’d still be drifting from one place to another, endlessly finding nothing that would give her comfort.

She heard the servants speaking to Valmont, yet didn’t pay them any mind. She was too busy seeing this… empty room. It was just a room, with nothing in it. Was this the place where dance happens? Ruby wasn’t sure how you could do this… whatever it was, in a place where there was nothing in it. She’d find out soon enough.

Ruby looked up at Valmont, who had taken her hand and waist in his hands. This felt weird, and she even had a small blush to compliment this feeling. Valmont was really close to her; it was no problem to be around him, but being this close, Ruby could now see just how beautiful he really was. Her eyes, which weren’t exposed thanks to the hood, were drifting to the floor so she wouldn’t embarrass herself in front of Valmont. She only followed Valmont’s lead, and this dance was… pretty good. Ruby felt like she was drifting on air, and Valmont was the one to lead her across the sky. She did look up at him after pushing aside her emotions, which was a bit overbearing, and only pulled herself right against Valmont. She could dance like this forever, being in the arms of someone who cared.

The Embassy of Hell

The music drifted around the room, enveloping Valmont’s senses as he let himself become one with Ruby in the dance. It was a natural high that to many would be hard to understand. The closeness of contact, and moving to the tune of the music in a dance that was as old as time itself. By the look on Ruby’s face, she too was being caught up in the magic of the dance. She was following on in perfect unison with the Ambassador, as he took her around the floor in sweeping circles that would make anyone feel light headed.

The show of blush on Ruby’s cheeks looked adorable, in Valmont’s mind. It was interesting for him, to find her react so. The Ambassador could not hide his smile which would be infectious. If only Ruby was able to do the same. The crude stitching would limit this ability, but does one really need lips to smile? Eyes can too.

When Ruby looked up into Valmont’s eyes, the Ambassador whispered.

“You are very light on your feet, Lady Ruby”

Of course she was. For such a girl that could wield a great weapon, there was practically nothing of her and she floated along the marble floor surface with ease and grace. Not bad for a first time.

When the song came to its glorious end, the Ambassador simply held Ruby for a moment, staring into her eyes. Was it possible for her to bewitch the incubus. He was having to keep himself well under control, which was a good thing….for both of them.

“That was wonderful.” The Ambassador bowed low from the waist once he let her go and gave her space. “I would like very much to do that again sometime.”

~RB~

Zu:  Ruby just stared at Valmont in the eyes as they graced the floor with their motions. When she realized, in the middle of the dance, that she was just staring straight into his soul, as her eyes were seemingly lifeless, she just brought her head down to make contact with his chest. She wanted to bury herself in it for looking so dumb, but nearing the end of the dance, she had the confidence to look up at him again. By that time, the dance had already ended it’s run and so too did the music. Valmont was so sweet to her, treated her like she was something precious to him and this was a feeling that Ruby had always wanted but now that she did, Ruby didn’t know exactly how to take it. Her chest was beating like mad drums from the thoughts running through her head. It really was a good thing they stopped, she could compose herself.

However, just because the dance ended didn’t mean their closeness did. As their eyes locked onto each other, her blush became far more red and she even got a bit transparent from this encounter. Without thought, she actually wasn’t becoming a ghost at random moments; it really had to do with her emotions. Of course, that wasn’t what Ruby was thinking about. When Valmont bowed to her, and gave her some space to breath, she just held her hands against her chest. Never in her life, during her time in Hell, has she felt such a warm feeling. Could ghosts even feel warmth?

The Embassy of Hell

Valmont couldn’t help but feel the swelling of pride when Ruby placed her head to his chest as they danced. This contact was unique to Valmont. The girl had been careful in showing herself, let alone letting her emotions drive her movement. Was she shy of how she felt at this moment, or was she feeling a real closeness towards the Ambassador? Valmont moved his hand towards the centre of her back and caressed it with a feather like gentle touch. Even though he was an evil creature by nature, he was more than capable of affection, and this was what she deserved. His own head lowered and to look at them from afar, you may be mistaken for thinking that the were more than just friends.

After the bow that he presented to her in gratitude for the dance, it was Ruby who kept her hands upon his chest. It was at this moment, that Valmont happened to notice that she became in part translucent. What was causing this, he wondered to himself. He wouldn’t question her of course. Why ask something that may upset her? That was the last thing he wanted to do. Instead he brought his hands up to be placed over her own. A beautiful smile playing upon his lips.

“You are the most intriguing girl I have ever met, Lady Ruby.”

Normally he would be off again speaking of the next room that they should visit, or acting more like a dignitary, but he wished to be more than that. Valmont wanted to find out more about the girl. How she came to be in Hell for starters, and who would do such a thing as to silence her forever more. Valmont’s heartbeat was now the only sound that could be heard. Powerful and strong beneath his chest. His silver hair rested upon his broad shoulders, and he looked very much how you would expect an incubus to look. His thumbs slowly caressing Ruby’s soft skin.

For once, he was lost for words.

~RB~

Zu:  These emotions that Ruby were just now experiancing started to take it’s toll. It’s not that her body couldn’t handle it, nor that her mind could, but just the sudden rush of compassion shown by Valmont was enough to make her go crazy. She had heard of this word, but never knew what it meant; love. Is that what Valmont was displaying, the word love? Ruby, by the words combined with the hands over hers made her lose it and her whole body grew transparent, so that Valmont could not feel her warm skin, which was all thanks to him. Being invisible now, Ruby suddenly panicked and ran out the room, almost in tears. Only the sound of her footsteps could be heard, and it was the only thing Valmont knew about if he chose to follow her.

Ruby, if asked to stop, couldn’t hear him. Everything was happening to fast, and there was just no way that someone could make her feel this way. Ruby just didn’t know what to do with herself; she had seemed to grow attached to Valmont but now, now she couldn’t be in the same room as him. She wept and because of that blurry vision, she was hitting the walls. Of course, being a ghost, she could easily go through it. She was outside now, back at the courtyard where Valmont had consumed his food. She dropped there, her body shaking from the raw emotions and switching uncontrollably from transparent to visible.

The Embassy of Hell

Music attracts the most unlikely of guests, and while Valmont had been dancing with his young charge Ruby, another was watching from high in the ceiling. She had been wandering across the realms of Hell, amused by the carryings on by the likes of Greed and Pride. Now she had come to visit what was an old…family friend. Little did she know that Valmont had been entertaining the young Miss Ruby. Like a spider, Charlotte crawled across the roof silently, her hair hanging down as she tried to contain her mirth at the sight of the Ambassador dancing with the strange red hooded girl. She was like a voyeur at times, but that was just her way.

Down below, the Ambassador did not realize that his show of affection had caused Ruby to go completely transparent. But not only that she could no longer be felt. One moment, he was dancing with her, the next she vanished and the only way to tell that she had left the room was by her footfalls, as she ran away. Valmont lowered his arms to his sides, turning ever slightly, as he called out to her. “Ruby?” Had he done something to upset her? He hadn’t used his demon ways against her, in fact it was the opposite. Incubus were not supposed to feel or express an act of genuine love. This was what made it all the more unusual.

This was of course the perfect time for the girl high above to make her presence known.

“You frightened her away….” Charlotte said in a whimsical voice, before letting out a dark chuckle and descended from the ceiling on a strand of silver thread, before her feet bounced upon the floor.

“Ever heard of knocking, Ms Carrendar?”

Valmont didn’t even have to look to know who it was.

“And interrupt the dance? Why that would be rude, and you know me, I like to make an entrance.” The dark haired beauty winked at Valmont saucily, before skipping over to the door, to peak out and see where the girl had gone too. She tutted her tongue before looking back at Valmont.

https://i2.wp.com/i55.tinypic.com/mjmryd.gif

“Did you touch her ass?”

“No…I did no such thing.”

Charlotte pointed at him and then started to walk over with a saucy gait. “But you wanted to.” She grinned, flashing rows of perfect teeth.“Valmont and Ruby..sitting in a tree…K…I….S..S…”

“Enough with the games, Char. What are you doing here?” Valmont was becoming greatly annoyed with the young woman, who was practically giddy at getting under his skin. It was a game to her and she licked the top of her teeth before walking up and behind him.

“Greed is in trouble….again.”

Valmont raised a brow. He knew about the disaster of a ball, but nothing of what happened to Lydia. Clearly, Charlotte knew since she had been staying at the Greed Castle at the time. “Go on.” Valmont said dryly, only interested in this conversation due to the fact that what affected one kingdom, affected all.

“Remember….the suit that Mammon wore to his death?”

“Beserker….yes of course. Horrid thing that it is. The fool was mad for wearing it.”

“Someone stole it. Right….from under Lydia’s nose.”

“Well….”

https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/2d/d9/1b/2dd91b19448a5e59004d9d56c7b3eee1.jpg

“Mhm…” Charlotte grinned widely. “Servants…of Sloth.” Why would Charlotte find this so amusing? What was worse, why did the Ambassador suddenly find this very amusing. So, Sloth wanted Beserker? For what possible purpose? Charlotte picked at an imaginary speck of dust on Valmont’s coat and blew it away, as she could see the cogs in Valmont’s mind were turning.

“I suppose this means I should pay them a visit.” Valmont pushed Charlotte’s hand away, which made her pout in a mocking fashion. “And do what? You want to see if Belphegor is derp enough to put it on?”

Valmont snickered loudly. “That’d make my day.” But soon the smile faded from his face, as he remembered that he still had to find Ruby. She was either somewhere in the building or outside. He glanced down at Charlotte who was waiting to see what the Ambassador had planned. “What?” She didn’t like how he changed from being the scoundrel that he was, back to this pompous ambassador. “But really, I can’t. Not yet. I need to find Ruby.”

Charlotte blew a raspberry and rolled her eyes. “Fine…go find your little hooded dolly and play. I think I will go and entertain myself with your staff.” Charlotte blew Valmont a kiss, before sashaying out of the room, headed for Zachary’s office.

Valmont, now alone – pulled on the edges of his jacket, and headed out in the opposite direction for the Embassy gardens, in search of Ruby.

~RB~

Zu:  Her body, her mind, down to her very soul and everything in between was going haywire. Ruby didn’t now what to do with herself. She didn’t have a mouth to scream, maybe to lessen the pain but with her voice lost to the people responsible, Ruby couldn’t do such a thing. The only thing she could do was cry in silence as her image faded and came back like a flicker of a lightbulb. She covered her eyes, shaking terribly and all for what; it was only someone who cared for her. It was nothing special, but to Ruby it was everything. Not once in her life here in Hell had she ever encountered someone who actually gave a damn about her existence. Any time there was a chance, her ghostly powers took over and she wouldn’t interfere with their lives in the slightest. This however, was different, and Ruby couldn’t handle all of these emotions that were hitting her skull like a sledgehammer.

Maybe Ruby needed to kill something, or someone. That could possibly cheer her up, but without the will to even move from her downed position, she wasn’t going to do that. Her mind was so fragile, that another problem came about. Memories, though they were not ones that Ruby knew of. She didn’t know what that even meant but right before her eyes, flashes of blurry images spun through her head like a cog out of control. None made sense, but she did see a few things that stood out. An image of a hag, herself looking human and a flash of light. WHAT THE HELL DID ALL THIS MEAN!?

The Embassy of Hell

Walking along the corridor, Valmont saw that the door to the gardens was opened, and though it may not have been the direction that Ruby had taken in her flight from the ballroom, it didn’t hurt to take a look outside to see if this was where she had gone. The ambassador grew concerned as he walked out the garden door, and cast his eyes across the vast estate. He happened to glance down to where he and the other staff, along with Ruby had enjoyed a light meal. It was down there that he happened to spot the crimson red hood. This is where she had ended up.

Valmont didn’t run down to be at her side. The last thing he wanted to do was scare her all the more, though he was still unsure as to why she ran in the first place. Had no one ever shown that they had cared for her before? Valmont was not one to know, since he had not yet been able to get much out of her, apart from a nod, and the dance of course.

Ambling down, he walked with his arms at his sides with a troubled expression. It didn’t take much to see that Ruby was deeply distressed. He stopped a good few feet from her and bowed his head.

“I’m sorry…if I upset you.” His words were almost a whisper. “I felt the need to touch you, and if that was inappropriate, than I can’t do enough to beg your forgiveness.”

~RB~

Zu:  Ruby suddenly stopped her shaking when she heard Valmont’s voice. The man that made all this happen, both good and bad, was now right behind her. She turned her head, and slowly let her hood drop down and Valmont would be greeted by a face full of saddness. Her tears flooded her face and made her look quite ugly. Even her stitches got wet, but the one good thing was that her disappearing act was slowly coming to a halt. She just stared at him, almost into his soul, as if asking a question she couldn’t form. One word, there was one word that continued to flash in her mind and scatter all around Valmont. It was the only word she could see. Remembering her board, Ruby, with a shaky hand, grabbed it and tried her best to create this word. She used her entire hand to write it out, and the word was hardly visible when Valmont would see it due to her poor hand-writing but that one word spoke volumes.

Hurts.

My Monster Girl – Hell’s Kitchen : SS.

With the party to end all parties winding down, it is time for the crew of Hell’s kitchen to go off to bed.  But on a stormy night, not everyone is having sweet dreams.

Scene setting: Hell’s Kitchen.

Co-written with Temp and Moo.

Temp:  Roxanne was appreciative of Loc’s helpful and loving nature towards her, and didn’t seem to mind at all that he was becoming rather handsy with her. Caring about such a thing didn’t really compute with her for whatever reason. Perhaps that had something to do with her revival? Whatever the reason was she really didn’t seem to care. “Good job Igor! You even survived the nuke!” She shouted and gave him a bit of a booby wiggle, though he’d probably just ignore it. It was then that the Doctor proclaimed that he would be going to sleep. “Nighty night Doc!” She shouted out to him and wiggled about until she flopped over and into a seat, where she’d likely pass out if left undisturbed. There was a lot of booze missing from her collection due to this night, but she had enjoyed it and would remember it as such. Enjoyable.

Moo:  Narcissa gave the hunchback a good pat for his hard work as the nurse commended him. “Mhm! Great work!” the monstrosity agreed. She decided to copy Roxanne’s actions, wiggling her boobies as well. It felt kinda funny, making her giggle a bit. Though her dress didn’t exactly show a lot of cleavage. Oh well! The cringing Igor was left alone at long last as the Doctor made his exit, bidding them a good night. “Sleep tight, Doctor! Don’t let the bed bugs bite.” Narcissa giggled to herself before humming and dancing herself away into another room in order to get rid of her dress. It was nice and all, but she really needed a breather. So being back in her favorite lab coat, she went to lay herself down.“Phew, what a day~” The monster was rather energized still, so it was troublesome to keep still. She would turn over constantly and twitch her muscles, fidgeting here and there. It was normal though, as Narcissa didn’t need sleep.

Razorbackwriter:  Igor was still a little green looking after surviving the blast from Loc’s backside. He kept sticking out his tongue as though trying to rid the taste off it. Yes, Loc was more than just a force of brute strength. One would be wise not to be up wind of him after a night of curry and garlic pizza, that was for sure. Loc, was in another world entirely. Still drooling over the wondrous booby movements coming from the glorious Roxanne. Oh, how he loved that little nursey. But with the Doctor having retired for the evening, and the party now winding down, it was time for the crew to go find their cots and sleep. It was Igor that was left with the task of putting Loc to bed. Roxanne looked like she had had one drink too many, and after flopping onto the nearest couch, she was looking like she was heavily sedated…not just relaxed.

Tugging on Loc’s sleeve, Igor motioned with a jerk of his head, that they should head out of the party room and find Loc a cot.

“Come on, Loc. Let’s get you ready for bed.”

“Sleep?”

“Yes, sleep. Not the long kind that you never wake up from. The usual…..five..six hours.” At least that is what Igor normally had. Narcissa had already left the room after giving the hunchback a good whack for his efforts in winning the game of Twister. Though if you asked him, he won be default. Passing out on all the dots, really didn’t constitute a win in his books, but it was the first time he’d won anything, so….he wasn’t about to complain.

Taking one of the torches off the wall, igor bowed before the nearly sleeping Roxanne, before ambling out of the party room, leading Loc behind him. They had a room that was for the male servants, though the cots there might be a bit small. Might have to push a few together.

It was as Loc was being led down the hall that the first signs of an oncoming storm were both seen and heard. A great rumble, followed by a flash of light that illuminated the clouds. It was loud enough to give Loc a scare. Who knew that the creation was scared of thunder and lightning.

“Baaaaadddd.” Loc cried as he tried to shield his eyes.

Igor stopped and looked back in surprise. “You should have seen battles that were worse than that, Loc.” Was this creation really scared of a little bit of thunder.

~RUMBLE RUMBLE….BOOM!~

“Gaaaaaaaah!”

Yes…yes he was.

The Doctor was sitting up in his bed, night cap on his head and glasses on his nose as he was reading a romance novel, when the door to his room suddenly burst open. There was Loc….wearing a night shirt and quivering like a leaf. In behind him was a very flustered Igor, who was holding a candle.

“Master….Loc wet the bed.”

It wasn’t really wet…it was saturated. The pong had driven them out of their room.

Wilhelm reached up to take off his glasses and set down his book. This was most unusual. Another crack of lightning appeared at the window followed by a large and powerful boom.

“Loc…scared!!!!”

Igor took a side ways step, just in case the creation let off another one of his fatal farts.

“Master, I already changed his night shirt once. Know anything that can calm him down.”

This was a real pickle. The Doctor strummed his chin for a moment, then he patted the mattress.

“When I’m scared, I usually think of my favorite things.”

https://razorbackwriteraus.files.wordpress.com/2015/03/ab6d5-favourtie-things.gif

Loc ran …..or should I say, galloped over to the bed and jumped on it with such force, that the whole room shook. It was a miracle that the bed didn’t break. The Doctor looked up at the trembling giant of a creation and patted his arm.

“If you sing about your favorite things…..you won’t hear the storm anymore.”

Igor thought the Doctor had lost his marbles.

-glancing at the readers- “When the hell did this role play turn into a musical?” He shook his head, before following Loc’s lead and set down his candle on the bedside table to the other side of the Doctor, before taking up a comfy space on the bed.

The Doctor coughed and then started to warm up his voice…“Me me me me me…doe..rae me far..so…la…te…DOE.”

~Blood drops on roses….and fleas on little kittens. Warm bags of vomit, and leaches that wiggle. Zombies without heads and losing their limbs….these are a few of my favorite things……~

~RB~

Razorbackwriter:  A night unlike any other. Where the strange rendition of “My favorite things” was a sing song between Loc, the Doctor and a very sleepy Igor. All ended up in the same bed, and the last one to finally fall asleep was the Doctor himself. Staring out the window at what was now a peaceful night in Hell. The storm had passed and only the light pitter patter of falling water droplets could be heard on the window ledge. The Doctor glanced at both his sleeping companions. Did he ever think for a moment that they would all end up in his bed? Course not. it was just how the night ended and the creation was soothed into a peaceful slumber.

The morning started with the sound of the Doctor’s alarm clock buzzing. Five am. The usual time that the Doctor liked to be up and out of bed. With a heavy workload ahead of him, he carefully eased back the covers and crept out of bed, so as not to wake Igor and Loc, who were now curled up together. The cotton ball on the end of Igor’s night cap floating in and out of Loc’s gaping maw every time the creation snored. It was almost too priceless an image not to want to take a snap shot. Black mail material….ha. The Doctor made his way to the bathroom, and he started off with a good hot shower, before shaving and preparing himself for the day ahead.

No doubt Roxanne and Narcissa would still be sleeping – Roxanne most likely in a drunken state, and would need to sleep off the night’s booze. Stepping out of the shower, he wrapped a fluffy towel around his waist and went to rub his hand over the condensation coated mirror, when he was shocked to see the face of a man standing in behind him.

“Must have been some party…Eh ehehehehehe.”

The Doctor shrieked when he suddenly recognized the voice and the face of the man behind him.

“YOU!”

“Yes…it’s me. Miss me, Doctor? I don’t see your sweet lovey in your bed. You never did tell me what you did with her. After all, I did just as you asked.” Oh yes, the Dark one had made good his end of the deal, however he forgot to mention that with all magic, it comes at a price. One that the Doctor never counted on. The Dark one popped his head into the Doctor’s bed chambers and let out a squeal like laugh.

https://31.media.tumblr.com/d1f61aac0389af531f14c6dfdc10b224/tumblr_n5qc2lzoKe1s7nytzo1_500.gif

“You’ve gone gay! And a threesome? Tsk tsk.”

It was hardly the truth at all. The Doctor was quick to put on his trousers and march out of the bathroom, shushing the demon who was pointing at Loc and giggling.

“You disgust me, now out in the hall, I don’t want to wake them.” The Doctor opened the door and the dark creature made a swirling gesture with his hand, and cocked his head to and fro, before skipping out the door. Pulling a shirt off its hanger, the Doctor followed the demon out into the hall.

The Dark one turned on his heel the moment that the door was closed. “You still haven’t told me what you did with her. Come on….where is she?”

The Doctor’s head slowly turned towards what was the door to Narcissa’s room. His facial expression a dead giveaway. The demon pointed a gnarled finger towards the door and crept, ever quietly towards the door and then with his hand placed upon it, he gently eased it open and poked his head inside. Sure enough on the bed within, lay the Frankenstein like monster girl, whose body parts were taken from the love of the Doctor’s former life.

Whispering with a wicked grin.

“She’s not as I remember, but that is her.” He glanced over his shoulder and his eyes gleamed. “You butchered her. Who is the devil now?”

The Doctor was quick to get across the hall and shut the door to Narcissa’s room hopefully not waking her from her slumber. Turning to face the demon, who was clearly enjoying the Doctor’s distress he gasped as he saw the look of insanity coming back to the Doctor’s face.

“Yes…YES….Let it out, Doctor!”

The Doctor reached out and gripped the demon’s coat lapel with shaking hands and practically lifted him up off the ground, ready to launch him across the room. The very veins on his neck were standing out – purple and red. Eyes like fire as his chin trembled. “YOU BROUGHT BACK A MONSTER!”

https://i0.wp.com/24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mcq1vbM8wm1qj74jeo1_500.gif

The Dark one stared at the Doctor in triumph. “No, you created one. EHEHEHEHEHEHEHE!”

The Maze of Greed – Part Eleven : SS.

Danger is lurking around every corner of the maze.  Lydia and her warlock, Raul are going to be reunited in the hunt for Mariela and Bandit.  Scar, is still trapped in the hat, but he has sent the young witch’s family to her rescue.  While all this goes on, a dark figure watches over all.  Death…is coming.

Scene setting : The Maze of Greed – Seven Sins series.

Co-written with Dessy, Phyln, and Artie.

Artie:  Bandit helped to keep herself up in Mariela’s arms, her lips pursing slightly at the sounds of hellhounds. Amazing how Lydia got some at her disposal, Lucifer kept them to himself most days. Though, with her obtaining of them Bandit could only assume that they weren’t really the top-notch of his elite squad. “Listen, man, I don’t really know you but those things are literally impossible to kill. You can knock them out but that’s next to impossible. I think our best bet here is to make a run for it, or we’re all going to be fucked.” She looked at Douglas, not quite taking in the irony of her words in that she couldn’t run, much less move her legs at all. She leaned into Mariela yet still felt guilty for having the other person carry her – clearly, Bandit didn’t like relying on others. “And if you even want to see Quinn again, I’m sure you don’t want it to be when she sees your soul thrashing about in the river. That place ain’t for the faint of hearted.

Razorbackwriter:  Screaming protests coming from behind him went virtually unheard as the Giant started to run into the direction of where the hell hound roars were coming from. When the chips were down, Duggie was a man of action, not words. This would leave Mariela left behind holding onto Bandit. She’d been given the order to run by the Giant, as he tried to stave off the oncoming attack forces of Lydia. Pounding footfalls raged along the inside of the maze, while a few turns away, the hell-hounds of Greed were getting closer. Their craving for blood so great, having been near starved by the evil Demoness of Greed and Ambition.

As Lydia strolled along behind her trusted dogs of war, there came a spluttering from a nearby hedge wall. It was enough to have the Demoness stop in her tracks. A cloud of leaves spewed out of the hedge covered in spittle, followed by the angry snarl of one very annoyed warlock. Lydia of course, recognized the voice and then stuck her hand into the hedge, only to drag Raul out by his collar. When his head appeared, Lydia leaned down and stared him in the eyes.

“You let yourself get caught in the bushes?!”

“When were you going to tell me that a giant lurked in this maze?” He replied just as angrily. A huge egg like bump on his head. It still smarted. “Giant? What giant?” This was certainly news to her. Lydia brought the maze over from the Fallen mansion. She had no idea that someone was in it. Growling, she gave a good hearty tug of Raul’s collar and the rest of him fell free of the hedge’s grasp. He lay on the ground at her feet, panting heavily, but not before looking up at her. She was wearing a dress and tight pants that were more for hunting. So…she decided to come down off her pedestal and join into the game. The warlock pushed himself up to standing, brushing the leaves off his coat, when Lydia grabbed a fist full of his shirt and snarled at him.

https://i0.wp.com/static.tumblr.com/ca8fd1551f6ed2b53b53160df4fd58d7/uaamzzz/kaCmtv2fk/tumblr_static_tumblr_mfg4lzpgtn1qlk7iko2_250.gif

“Don’t EVER disappear on me for the sake of another woman…again!…Do I make myself perfectly clear?” Lydia had a powerful grip, that was easy to see, and though the Warlock tried to pull back he found that she was a lot stronger than she looked.

He was about to answer, when he heard the barking and snarling of the hell hounds that Lydia had released into the maze. “There’s hell hounds in this thing?!” It was the one beast of hell he particularly didn’t care for. They were unpredictable, and savage in their attacks. Rarely paying any attention to their masters, or Mistresses as the case may be. Lydia gave a little shrug, not really caring for his opinion on her actions.

All Raul knew was that his Bandit was in the maze with these hell dogs, and in her state from his recollection, she was not going to possibly outrun the Hell hounds. For once in the evil Warlock’s life, he didn’t want Lydia to win.

“Come along then, my pet and see the end of that cheeky little witch and her babbling alp now!” Skirts swishing as she headed off after her hell hounds, Raul marched along silently behind her. Lydia didn’t know that Scar was no longer in the maze.

Far off in the maze, the first of the hell hounds rounded the corner and leapt up at the Giant, who swung his battle axe with a marksman’s like precision. ~WHACK!~

“Cop that ya stinkin’ mongrel!”

~RB~

Dessy:  Mariela continued holding Bandit with ease, only adjusting slightly so she could switch the hat to her other hand. She looked down as Bandit spoke, giving a nod of agreement.“I agree with Bandit. I don’t know much about Hellhounds, but I know Lydia. And if Hellhounds are as bad as described, and Lydia has them – we need to run.” she spoke. Bandit mentioned something about his soul thrashing in a river, but the Giant wasn’t listening. Next thing the girls knew, the giant was running towards the Hellhounds, and he was screaming for them to run. “Well… Looks like it’s just us.”Mariela said simply.

But she didn’t argue. “Hold on tight.” she said, then turned around and began running for it. As they ran, they could hear the Giant and his giant axe being smashed on the Hellhounds. But Mariela didn’t turn around – she had a feeling Lydia was searching for her specifically, since the Hellhounds showed up, but no Lydia. She kind of already figured she’d have to fght Lydia, but at the moment her main priority was getting Bandit to safety.

They made it far enough to where the Giant and the Hellhounds could no longer be heard. Mariela slowed down to a walk, walking over and placing Bandit on the ground somewhere, before catching her breathe. “We’re safe, for now. Just give me a second.” she said, looking down at Bandit. She then paused to look around the maze, and narrowed her eyes as if in thought. “I wonder if…” she started, but trailed off. “Here, watch this.” she told Bandit, placing Scar’s hat beside her. She then walked over to a hedge that was covered in vines, tilting her head. She held out one hand, before picking her other one up slowly and beginning to move it. She moved it forward then moved it back, as if she was pulling the vine. The vine moved off of the wall, following the movement of her hand. She moved her hand to the right, and the vine followed. Mariela then moved her hand over her head, moving it in a circle. The vine began to wrap it’s self around a nearby statue.

“It works!” Mariela said with a smile, stopping the hand above her head, causing the vine to stop moving. She then closed her held out hand, before moving both hands down. “That makes things easier.” she said with a nod, turning around to Bandit. She could control Earth and nature – and being in a maze that was full of plants, vines and nature – she had benefits. She smiled as she walked towards Bandit, kneeling down to pick her up again. But then she felt a strange, yet somewhat familiar energy from behind her. “Shit…” she mumbled, standing up and turning around. She suspected it to be Lydia – so she prepared herself. But that’s not who it was.

There was a light, and then a “pop” as three figures stood in front of Mariela and Bandit. “Marie, stop! It’s me. It’s Tessa.”the female of the group spoke, letting go of the collar they were holding and stepping forward. “I’m here with your brothers… Sam and Sean.” she gestured to them, both stepping forward. Sean held the collar, but they all stared at Mariela.

“What?” Mariela asked, blinking in a bit of confusion. But when they stepped forward and she saw their faces, she widened her eyes before running toward them and getting welcomed in a group hug. “Oh my god!” she said when she pulled away. “Wow! Tessa, you’re as beautiful as ever. And Sam and Sean… you two have grown so much!” she spoke to each of them. “What are you doing here?”

“Scar sent us here. His hat sent him down to Earth, and thanks to the help of a spell in one of your journals we were able to save, he managed to send us back.” Sam spoke, nodding to his brother. “He said you needed help with someone named Lydia after we talked to him in the forest. We didn’t believe him for a second.” Sean spoke. “So Scar is alive…” she spoke, turning around to look at Bandit. “That’s why he wanted us to jump into the hat! It’d send us back to Earth where he knew we’d be safe.” she spoke, before turning back around. “Where is Scar?”

“He couldn’t come with us. But he said if you still have his hat, just call his name into it to summon him.” Tessa said, and Mariela turned around and gestured to the hat. “I do have that hat.” she said. “Good… but we don’t have time for that right now. We have to move.” she said, but paused. “Wait…” she said, taking the amulet off and handing it to Mariela. “That survived the fire. I had to wear it to be brought here… plus, I figured you’d need it to have full control of your powers.” Tessa spoke, and Mariela took the amulet. She looked it over, before slipping it around her neck. The red amulet glowed for a second after she put it on, as did Mariela’s green eyes. She nodded her head, before turning around to Bandit. “I know you’re confused… but I’ll explain later. It’s a long story.” she said, kneeling down and picking Bandit up.

“Who’s she?” Sean asked. “This is Bandit. We’re running from the same person. Me and Scar found her in the maze bruised and bleeding, and I tried to heal her. Unfortunately, something went wrong with my magic and she became paralyzed. So she can’t feel her legs.” Mariela said, receiving a nod from them. “There’s one other in the maze – a giant named Douglas. He was holding back the Hellhounds so we could run off. No idea how he got here.” she said.

“Enough talk. Let’s move!” Tessa said, running over to grab Scar’s hat. She then began running forwards, leading the way. Mariela was next to her with Bandit with her two brothers running behind – it was as if they were guarding her.

Phyln:  The group parted ways in front of him the giant dashing right past blinded by his own agenda heading back the way Solomon had come. his head turned slowly as he kept his eyes on the giant until he was out of sight and the sound of combat echoed back. his head snapped back towards the two girls as the quickly headed off the other direction, this made his decision easier pivoting on his heel he followed the direction of the giant. the other two don’t seem to be in any immediate danger my best bet is to head to the area of conflict the clacking of his boots and the methodic tick of his cane on the ground was only overshadowed by the sound of battle gradually growing louder as he approached. With a swift movement he changed his grasp on his cane now holding it like a sword as he covered the last few meters and the giant came into view. the sight ahead of him caught him off guard while the giant alone was quiet a surprising sight the hellhounds were an unwelcome one. such rapid feral beast he could easily get dragged into this. With a sigh he finished his approach and remained a small distance away not close enough for the giant to consider him hostile but still maintaining a good view and with any luck staying out of the way of the hounds. unsure of how they would fair against each other he decided that regardless of the victor of the battle he watched he would either have a giants soul or that of a few hounds.

Artie:  Bandit held onto the running Mariela, wincing with each bumpy step. She knew that Mariela was trying to be careful, but it wasn’t pleasant. Walking, she had been able to deal with. Running.. each step of the little witch sent Bandit’s wounds to be on fire, the injuries fixed externally but merely patched together hastily internally. As she was set down, the thief breathed relief and focused on Mariela’s powers. Had she been unaccustomed to such shows, perhaps she would have gazed in wonder, let out a “wow” or “whoa.” Alas, Raul’s more intensive magics only made Bandit gaze with apprehension, her brow raising. “You’re stuck inside a giant maze and you only remember now that you have powers over plants?”

https://i2.wp.com/media.tumblr.com/34470358638a7d8e45cbda4f6a65e539/tumblr_inline_mhit0zPRfl1qz4rgp.gif

A sigh made her tilt her head back and close her eyes, hand resting limply on the ground. As Mariela finished and leaned over her, Bandit would suddenly open her eyes and blink in surprise. “Shit..

Imagine an invitation to a family reunion of a roommate, but it wasn’t your family to begin with and your roommate who you’d just met invited you to come. Well, you may possibly be involved with your roommate in the future, so you don’t want to get off on the wrong foot and just say ‘no,’ do you? Yet at the same time as they exchange in their ‘hello’s you feel an profound urge to simply run away, but alas you cannot, because you’ve been forced into this situation to begin with. This was exactly the feeling that Bandit had, intensifying the curses in her head that she held for Raul. Blast him! Blast him to bits! Though, this Mariela character had a good heart, and Bandit suddenly found herself wishing to be more like her. Though, in her core Bandit was, it had just not been realized. Care for someone such as Riley did not come from a thief like Bandit, yet it was there. Somehow, she could be turned into the caring individual that, perhaps, living a normal life would have made her be.

“Can’t you just call the guy while we walk? You can call someone and run at the same time, can’t you?” Bandit wasn’t trying to be sarcastic, just bring light on the situation. She figured that right now, it would be best to have all the people on their side as necessary… especially with hellhounds on the loose. “Why don’t you use your powers and just part all the hedges? There’s got to be an exit, or you can make one, can’t you?” She grunted as Mariela ran, taking the brunt of the movements.

The little thief could only feel pain, but boy, at least it was something.

Douglas the Giant was fighting valiantly up ahead in the maze. One…two…three hell hounds were attacking one after the other, as the might giant swung his battle axe at them much like a cricketer swings a bat. For each hell hound he hit, another seemed to take his place. One lunged at the giant’s left arm and the Giant twisted his waist and swung the bastard hound off and into the waiting bushes. The hell hound landed a good ten feet away, before coming to its senses and rising once more. These dogs seemed to be unstoppable, and as much as Douglas tried to keep them at bay, it was soon going to be a lost battle. He was trying to give the witch and her disabled companion time in which to make a getaway, or at least find the center of the labyrinth and end their nightmare.

As he swung at yet another barking hound, he could hear the dark cackle of the arrival of the Mistress of the Hounds of Greed. The Princess bitch herself, Lydia – now rounded the corner, and when the Giant clapped eyes on her, he snorted through his huge nostrils and gave her dog one extra powerful whack. This was enough to send the hell hound flying over the nearest hedge wall – yelping as it did so.

https://i1.wp.com/media.tumblr.com/668f3ca3f28f3950c790e771875c9c4e/tumblr_n2k1zikpwB1t55dzfo1_250.gif

“NO!” Lydia roared, raising up her hand as the dark green energy within her was starting to build out of her fury. Raul came around the corner shortly there after and saw the battered giant facing off against Lydia.

“That’s him! The one that knocked me into the bushes.”

“AYE! AND I DIDN’T HIT YA HARD ENOUGH!”

The giant gripped his battle axe with a white knuckled intensity as he stared the two down. “I’m not afraid of you two. Yer the bitch that put this maze here. Bet ya didn’t think I was here, did ya?” Douglas spat down at the ground at her feet, and sneered. “I seen better heads on a mug of beer, Ya ugly trollop!”

~gasp!~ Did the Giant really say that? Lydia brought her free hand up to her face, absolutely horrified that he would make a crack about her new face. Raul, who was standing in behind tried very hard to suppress a chuckle, since the idea of having a crack at Lydia’s appearance was kinda funny.

https://i0.wp.com/24.media.tumblr.com/794aea8e0eb56aeb6a4816be171d8c22/tumblr_n63f1mLuY51qjhdt7o1_250.gif

“You might want to keep that trap of yours shut, unless you want the Princess here to do something nasty.”

“I AIN’T TAKING ORDERS FROM YOU, YA DICKLESS TWAT!”

Douglas roared again as he swatted away yet another hell hound that lunged at him, this time hitting so hard that all you could see was the hell hounds arse sticking out of the hedge.

“This the best you got, bitch! I lived with a freakin’ hell hound. One a darn sight better than your show dogs.”

Raul brought his hands up, as though he had seen enough as the hair on the back of Lydia’s neck bristled. The powerful green ball was glowering in her hand, and it matched the fury with the one on her face. Her hell hounds were coming off second best to the Giant’s fury and powerful swings. But what he didn’t count on, was the Princess’s power. Gritting her teeth in anger, she released the massive green ball of energy at the Giant, which hit him hard in the chest. Douglas staggered backwards as he jerked and spasmed violently. She continued to warp and bend the energy till it wound its’ way all around Douglas, who now had one band of green light wrapped tight around his neck. It was slowly lifting him off the ground.

Watching from in behind, Raul tuttered and folded his arms.

“I did try to warn you, mate.”

The Giant dropped his battle axe and was clutching at the green energy ringlet around his neck, gasping and spluttering violently, as his legs kicked out in desperation. His eyes were bulging practically out of his head, it was a poor way to see the giant fare against the might of Lydia. Lydia threw her hand far right and this sent Douglas spinning up and well over the hedge wall….far out of sight. Only after a good ten seconds did you hear the earth shuddering crash of his body hitting the earth. The tremor was enough to be felt at least a kilometer away. Reigning in her power, Lydia snarled and pushed up her sleeves.

“One down…..two to go!”

The Princess started to march onward, stepping over the bodies of her fallen hell hounds. Raul let out a sigh and followed along behind. Lydia had no idea that there were more in the maze, than just the alp and the witch. She didn’t count Bandit, as she knew nothing of her.

The World inside Scar’s Hat – Part Two : SS.

The shocking realization was now hitting Scar as he found himself in what he thought was a world without magic.  The World inside his hat.

Scene setting – Inside Scar’s hat – Seven Sins series.

Co-written with Dessy.

Razorbackwriter:  Scar was spinning and then stopping in his tracks. Squinting his eyes tight together as though willfully trying to blink away the reality of what he faced. At a blink he can change forms. He could. In Hell. Here however, he would open his eyes to find that he was the same man, the same outfit. Everything stayed the same. Nothing worked. His magic….gone. Scar raised his hands up before him, as they quivered. His fingers as though clutching at some unseen being. Scar wanted to strangle the life out of Raul for what he had done. Sending him into his own hat. Sending him to a world without magic. The alp panted and looked up at the sky once more, only to just see a jet liner through the clouds – spiriting away to some unknown destinations. Flying…metal things! It was crazy. None of it made any sense to the creature. Hell might have been the last place you ever wanted to be, but that was where he belonged – not in this reality.

“Hey, dude.” A voice. Scar spun around to see two boys, though they were not children they were young men. One then asked the oddest question. One he would never expect to hear. “Why are you calling our sister’s name?” The young man had the bluest eyes. Radiant and matched in well with his colourings. The one beside him though, had green eyes. Like jade pools….with a frightening similarity to…Mariela’s. Both boys…had her features. They were younger of course, but…there was this eerie feeling that Scar was getting. “Why are you calling our sister’s name?”

What were the possibilities that the hat sent Scar to the one place that he knew Mariela would be safe from Lydia and Raul? The one place, she would call home. Scar’s eyes widened as the shocking truth was coming to fruition. There was no doubt in Scar’s love for her, that he would wish the hat to take her home. The only problem was, the hat….took him after Raul turned the game on it’s head.

https://i1.wp.com/static.tumblr.com/a7f2f41811fe0b13a8fd153bfaf4e0e8/scdebj1/rpnndw7r8/tumblr_static_66llb2d3ofswkw80sgcgwc0ks.gif

“I don’t belong here.” Scar uttered, backing away from the two young men. He raised a hand, pointing at each of them in turn. “She…never told me…she had siblings.” He shook his head, then he reached up and started pulling at his hair.“This can’t be happening. She’s in that maze with Raul….and a…human. What if Lydia……..Oh fuck no.” Scar started walking around in a circle, then saw a tree. Marching over to it, he gripped it around the trunk and started to beat his head against it.

~RB~

Dessy:  This guy looked like he was having a mental breakdown… or something. The boys didn’t know what was wrong with him. They didn’t move or take any steps further – for all they knew, this man could be some crazy who would attack them the minute they took a step toward him. Instead, they stayed in their position where they were, watching him and exchanging glances every now and then.

“I don’t belong here.”

He spoke, and Sean looked at his brother. “What do you mean “you don’t belong here”? Who are you?” Sean asked, deciding to take the risk and took one step further. What if he was one of the people after his family? The people who burned their house and killed their sister? What if they found out the rest of the family escaped? Their mother always feared that the people would find out and hunt for them. That they’d find out where they had ran off to and try to finish them off. What if this man was sent here to see if it was really them?

Then again, after Mariela’s death their mother had became really paranoid. After going through a depression state, she became over-protective and paranoid. Their father had to not only pull her out of that depression, but also convince her that everything would be fine and there was no reason for her to freak out. She had to be pulled out of a paranoia. It took a few years for her to finally be her normal self. Even now, mentioning Mariela’s name always ended up with their mother in tears again. This man pointed to each one of them, then stating that he never knew she had siblings.

The boys exchanged glances. Maybe he really did know their sister. But they had to be sure. “Are you sure we’re taking about the same girl here?” Sam spoke up next. “You have to be talking about a different person. If you knew our sister, we would’ve recognized you.”

“Who the hell is Raul? And Lydia?” Sean asked in confusion. “What are you talking about?” What was wrong with this guy? The brothers were just getting more and more confused as he rambled on about a maze. Then he walked in a circle. Then, he started beating his head against a tree.

“Woah! Hey! Calm down!” Sean spoke, taking a step back at this sight. Sam stayed in his spot, unsure if he should help hm or not. Was this guy crazy?

Razorbackwriter:  “Woah! Hey! Calm down!” Blurbs of questions were being asked as the Alp continued to smack his forehead against the tree trunk. Each time he hit the tree trunk, his eyes rolled about comically in his head. At last he staggered back, with a great red welt right in the center of his forehead. “Pain….such a rush.” If the boys thought that Scar was indeed crazy, it was because he was certainly acting like it. Now you’d think the boys would just wipe their hands of him and go back to their game of football. Leave the sad mad chap to his own devices, but they really wanted to know if it was their sister that Scar was crying out for.

“You have to be talking about a different person. If you knew our sister, we would’ve recognized you.” This might be true in their world, but Mariela was from a place after her death. A place that the brothers would not have even contemplated her being in. Scar finally stopped moving, though he was panting hard. In between taking in deep breaths, he tried to answer them, to the best of his ability. “My…Mariela…is trapped in a maze in Hell. She’s there, and I’m here.” He pointed to the ground and then slapped both his arms to his side, as though he felt totally lost.“A warlock….used my hat, to send me here as punishment.” He looked up at both boys, and then said something that may help them figure out what was really going on.

“She’s the most powerful witch I’ve ever met, but she doesn’t know her own strength. That is why Princess Lydia was going to use her for another war. To topple the Princess of Wrath. Then….I STUPIDLY…led her into the maze…thinking, she’d be safer there.” Scar was now feeling the stinging sensation of guilt. “This is all my fault.” His voice breaking into quiet sobs.

The Alp collapsed on the ground. Sitting in a crumpled heap. A sad laugh coming from his lips as he tried to wipe away a tear. “I kept telling her. Use my hat. She’s supposed to be here….not me.” Scar bowed his head, ashamed of himself. “I was trying to save her. Now I’ve signed her death warrant, and there is no way, I can go back. Not without my hat. There is no magic here.”

What would the two boys think of all this?

The Maze of Greed – Part Nine : SS

With Scar now lost in his own hat, Bandit and Mariela have found themselves a new ally.  Question is, how did he come to be in the maze?

Scene setting – The Maze of Greed, Seven Sins Series.

This arc is co-written with Phyln, Dessy and Artie.

Phyln:  Following the force that had drawn him there Solomons trek through the maze was made significantly easier. Taking atleast half the time if not less that it would have taken had he went through relying on basic senses. Rounding a final corner the click of his cane on the ground stopped as he stood silent. He watched over several people a little further in, he had heard screaming as he approached but could discern any of the actual words. whatever was going on drew him here so now he watched. Taking up a spot nearby to do just that the first site was that of a giant man appearing and striking at another, he could now clearly make out what they spoke about but it was not his business so he kept to himself. With everything that was going on around here he was deffinetly in the right place.

Dessy:  Mariela looked back down at the hat, then up at Raul. He had a look of triumph. Like he was the greatest thing in the world because he sent Scar off. This fact made Mariela angry. She looked behind her at Bandit, seeing her hold up her dagger, and simply gave her a nod. She then turned back to Raul and glared. He was mocking her. Why was he mocking her? Mariela clenched her hands together in fists, just getting more angry than she already was. Seeing him march toward Bandit, Mariela took a defensive position in front of her.

“He wasn’t my play boy. And if you call me little witch again, I swear…” she started, but was interrupted by… yodeling? Yodeling and Scottish. That’s all she heard, before she saw Raul get knocked down with the blunt end of an ax. She widened her eyes, watching him get thrown in the bush, then looking up at the tall and large… very large and tall… man. “Thank you.” she spoke softly, her gaze going back over to the bush. She then turned around, walking back over to Bandit and kneeling beside her. “We need to get out of this maze. Preferably before Raul wakes up.” she spoke to her. She was about to pick her up, before the giant spoke.

“Okeee…then. Can anyone tell me…where the bloody hell I am? Do either of you know a Quinn?”

This caused Mariela to look up at him with a raised eyebrow, standing up. “You’re in Hell…” she spoke slowly. Why didn’t he know where he was? And who was he? Why was he in this maze? “A Quinn? No, I don’t know of a Quinn.” she said, looking to Bandit with a confused expression. “But this is Bandit, and I’m Mariela.” she turned her gaze back to the giant. “Who are you? And may I ask, how did you get here in the maze?” she asked, crossing her arms. Maybe he knew how to get out of the maze… if so, maybe he could help them get out.

Artie:  Fear struck Bandit as Raul began to move towards her, breath pausing and her whole body tensing — but he would soon be staring at Douglas in surprise, right up dropping her dagger as she stared at the giant. What an interesting twist this had been.. Where did this guy even come from?! Bandit blinked a bit, letting her hands fall onto her lap and leaving them there. “Yes.. there’s a Quinn.. Hellhound, right? Basically Satan’s entire police force?” Oh, Bandit had run into Quinn, from the look on her face. Not that she didn’t particularly like the hellhound, but.. “She’s intense.. But no matter that. Who’re you? And how do you not know that you’re in Hell?” She blinked, confusion etched on her face. Bandit didn’t quite know the circumstances of Douglas’s arrival…

Her confusion was replaced with pain as she winced, pushing off the ground with her hands to adjust her body to the side a bit in an attempt to become comfortable. Her butt felt dead against the hard ground, and the lack of feeling in her legs still frightened her. She would attempt to wiggle her toes, only to have a shock of anxiety run through her when she realized that they weren’t, technically, there.

Razorbackwriter:  As much as it was a surprise for Mariela and Bandit to find that Raul had just been knocked out by a wily Scottish Giant named Douglas, so to the Giant was surprised to meet two lassies in the Maze. The witch was naturally thankful that Douglas had come along when he did. Scar of course had just disappeared into the hat, and Raul’s magic melded with his anger meant that the girls had been in real danger. For now at least the only sound coming from the hedge was the strange snores from the Warlock. Douglas hit him hard…really hard. And not just in the head. All that protruded from the hedge was his legs. His ass having been kicked into it as well. A strange thing occurred too. The hedge started to close around Raul, almost like it was trying to trap him inside it. Vines wound around his legs and feet and soon he was one with the hedge of the Maze. For how long though, remained a mystery. It would however allow the Giant and the two girls a chance to exchange pleasantries.

When Mariela said her thank you’s, Douglas pointed at where Raul had been and spoke.

“Ah don’t like seeing a lad hit a lassy. I don’t care what ya done. Leave the fisty cuffs to the menfolk.” Douglas leaned on the handle of his axe whilst staring downward at the two. “My name is Douglas McGee….warrior of the McGee clan…but mah friends call me Duggie. Quin…she be err…mah friend. I lost her before I came into the maze to work. Chopping things takes mah mind off mah troubles.”

For a giant he was very forthcoming and honest. He was surprised though to find that the maze somehow wound up in Hell of all places. The giant rubbed his bearded chin on this news. “Can’t be much worse than the Mansion. Filled with daft laddys and small doorways. Quinn and me were the only bigguns about. Aye….I miss that lassy. Misunderstood by many. Heart the size of the sun, if ya askin’ me.” It was clear from the emotion of his words that Quinn was a special friend. Hell hound or not.

https://i1.wp.com/25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m30f7sQyB01qzbus2o2_500.gif

The Giant looked down on the ground and then spotted Scar’s hat. It was tiny and rather cute. He reached down and picked it up, inspecting it by pinching his fingers. He was almost about to try it on, when a strange sound came from within….like an echo. it was faint…very faint. Douglas put it to his ear….and then heard what was called.

“Some git is calling for you, little witch.” Note…he didn’t say my.

He offered the hat to Mariela and then thundered over to Bandit, gently trying to help her to standing . He had immense power that was obvious, as he managed to hold her up with just two fingers. Like a child holding a moth. He didn’t mean no harm, but was clueless to her injuries. . “You know me Quinn?!” An incredulous look coming over his rough features. He grinned and showed off a few of his broken and gold teeth.

“Well then, let’s find a way out of this mad maze and find me Quinn!”

The World inside Scar’s Hat – Part One : SS.

once upon a time animated GIF

This is the side arc from the Maze of Greed – Seven Sins Series.

Co-written with Dessy.

The World inside Scar’s hat

Razorbackwriter:  The setting was like any typical suburban park with families out enjoying the delights of a summer’s day. Children were playing on swings, families were at picnic tables and lighting barbecues. Boys were playing football on the wide fields of green and the sounds of laughter and music came from all around – coupled of course with the everyday sounds of a modern world. Cars….trucks…the odd horn blast and of course planes that flew high overhead. So with all these ordinary people going about their ordinary lives, they would not even notice something extraordinary happening.

A swirling vortex of purple mist opened up high above the tree canopy of a nearby forest. Deep from within, the scream of a certain alp came down as his body plummeted to the earth below with a dull thud. Scores of leaves went up in a cloud of greens and browns as the Alp lay there, slightly winded. We all remember how Scar was dressed right before Raul zapped him into the hat. In this reality however, Scar looked nothing like his Hellish counterpart. In this world….in this age, he looked….human.

Laying there for a few moments, Scar blinked. What the hell had happened? His mind was a jumbled mess and all he could see above him was the steady movement of the trees, the sparkle of light from the sun’s rays. In a trice he sat up and could hear a couple of lads shouting out football numbers. Scar’s head snapped around – left to right and back.

https://s3.amazonaws.com/giphymedia/media/cjPOk6BcfYBj2/giphy.gif

“No…..NO!”

He looked down to what he was wearing and he gasped loudly. His hands…they were big. Scar touched his face and started to cry. “I’m…..I’m…..human!” There was no mistaking it. Clamoring to his feet, Scar’s eyes were starting to go glassy, as unseen tears were threatening to fall. The reality hit him like a speeding train. His worst nightmare had come to fruition. He was lost inside the world of the hat. A world….that he believed had no magic.

“M..M..Mariela?’ A whimper came from his lips, that quivered ever slightly.

“MARIELA!!??” Desperation now evident in his cry. Where was she? Was she still in the maze with Raul and the human? What of Lydia? “MARIELA?!” Scar turned around and around. He started to see evidence of the truth of his surrounds. Happy families….strange objects that moved on wheels. A world of humans.

“MARIELA….HELP ME!!!”

~RB~

Dessy:  Over on a clear, green and grassy field was a large group of boys playing fotball. It was a Saturday – a weekend. There was a group of girls sitting on blankets over to the side that the group of boys had brought with them, talking and gossiping and stealing a few glances from the boys every now and then. Some of them went as far as to blow kisses. This was the modern world – the world of cars, social media and cell phones. This was Mariela’s world.

It had to have been pretty hard for a family of powerful witches to live in secret in the modern world – but the family kept the secret pretty well. Until they eventually found out about it, when Mariela’s life had ended. Even to this day, it was unknown how those people had found out. But after the incident, her parents took her brothers and they moved to a new state and town – starting a new life.

Mariela would have been twenty-three years old at this time – five years after her death. Life had went on with her family, and even now they still used their witch abilities in secret – being extra careful this time around. Laughing could be heard from the field of the teenage boys, which was close to the forest. “Nice tackle, Sam!”spoke one of the voices with a laugh afterwards. Football numbers were then being shouted, the boys getting ready to get back in position.

“MARIELA!!??”

The shouting of the all too familiar name caused one of the boys to stop. He nudged his brother in the side with his elbow.”Sam, did you hear that?” the boy with light brown spoke, causing the other teenager to look at his brother in confusion.”Hear what?” the dark brown haired boy, known as Sam asked, but just got a “shh” by his twin brother.

“MARIELA?!”

There was that name again. “Is… is someone calling our sister’s name?” Sam asked, receiving a nod from his brother.”We need to go check it out.” he said, giving the other boys the timeout symbol. “Me and Sean need to go check something. Break for now!” Sam yelled, before motioning for his brother to follow as he began running off. “Come on, Sean.” he spoke, Sam running off and the one known as Sean following. Yes, these were Mariela’s little brothers – the twins Sam and Sean. After Mariela saved them from the burning house when they were fourteen, they continued on with their lives like their sister would’ve wanted. Both boys were now eighteen, and seniors in high school.

The brothers ran into the forest where the voice had came from. Why was this person screaming their dead sister’s name? Coincidence, maybe? Maybe this person happened to know someone who shared her name… but they weren’t sure. They both stopped when the voice was heard no longer. Then they heard it again.

“MARIELA….HELP ME!!!”

“This way!” Sam said, running in the direction of the voice. “Why is he screaming for help? And using our sister’s name at that?” Sean questioned, following his brother. “That’s what we’re going find out.” Sam answered. They stopped when they came to the source of the yelling. Some male… they knew that much. But they didn’t recognize him, which meant he couldn’t have known their sister. They knew most people that Mariela had always hung around… so he couldn’t have known her.

“Hey, dude.” Sam spoke, looking at him with an eyebrow raise. “Why are you calling our sister’s name?” he asked. Sam had blue eyes, unlike his brother. Sean’s eyes were green – almost the same green as Mariela’s, just darker. They also shared similar facial features with her. The brothers exchanged glances, before looking back at the male.

[KINGDOM] Greed : Main Hall.

Razorbackwriter:  The bloody remains of what was Raul’s latest conquest was strewn all about the room. The satin sheets awash with the dark crimson stain that dripped upon the floor leaving small puddles. In the middle of the room however, Lydia was admiring her new face. She kept touching her cheek bones and turning this way and that in front of the mirror. She no longer even looked like Lydia, but had taken on the face of the girl that unknowingly sacrificed her life. Raul sighed as he stood in behind her, almost bored with it all. The things he had to do, in order to keep Lydia amused was tiresome. He was using her as much as she was using him. It was a partnership with similar goals. Lydia was the Demon of Ambition and Raul had many ambitions himself, that could be fulfilled if he played his cards right. The girl whose family would probably never know just what horrors befell her as she took her final breaths. Her skin was more or less ripped from her body leaving behind bloody entrails and bone. Lydia harvested the girl like a fine surgeon would if helping a burns victim. Now with a renewed sense of energy, she felt she could face those that remained downstairs. Little did she know that the ballroom had emptied out into the neighboring streets of Hell.

Taking up a fan, she waved it gently almost as she plotted her next scheme. But she would be interrupted as Raul let out a roar of anger. He could feel it. Something…something had broken one of his most prized possessions. The anger swelled and flowed through him as he started for the balcony. He threw open the shutter doors and marched out onto the platform that overlooked the Maze of Greed. His red eyes scanned the winding hedge walls and he sniffed the air. Turning on his heel he barked at Lydia.

“WHO IS IN THE MAZE?”

Lydia blinked, as she was too busy enjoying her new face. “What? Why? Just Scar and that….silly young witch.” Lydia was playing dumb for now. She had never seen Raul this enraged before. If his blood could boil this strongly over a trifle matter, she started to wonder if he was more of a threat than first thought.

“Someone…broke Bandit’s collar.”

“Whose Bandit?” Lydia again was clearly not up to speed on Raul’s list of lovers and toys. She edged out onto the balcony and gave a shrug of the shoulders. “Why are you worrying over some…girl when you have me?’

The flowers that bloomed in the small garden that lined the castle wall all started to wither and die as Raul’s face was now distorting to a very ugly version of himself. It was now no longer a matter to joke about. Raul didn’t love Lydia at all, and he threw his head back and started laughing. “Just cause you have a new face, doesn’t mean I don’t fancy others.”Truth was he hated losing what he believed belonged to him. To him, Bandit was a possession and one he intended on keeping. He had left her in the maze on purpose, but had not expected that anyone, let alone a young witch would have the power to remove the collar. It was the work of a greater power. It had to be. Lydia stomped her foot indignantly, when she heard Raul say that he fancied others. “I don’t share men.” But before she could get another word in….Raul vanished from sight. He was headed to the maze….to find Bandit and the one that removed the collar.

Lydia let out a loud scream as she threw her fan at the wall.

“I DON’T SHARE!”

Beauty is skin deep – SS.

The Princess of Greed has not had her happy ever after as she anticipated.  So now we follow her as she returns to her Chambers.

[KINGDOM] – Greed : Lydia’s chambers

Razorbackwriter:  The Princess of Greed never ever envisioned that her night of magic and dance would turn into such a nightmare. All her grand plans were now in ruin, thanks to that horrid angelic Templar. Struggling to make her way up the passage to her apartment, the disfigured and now crippled Lydia was cursing and muttering foul obscenities under her breath. Guards that stood to attention as she passed had to fight to stop themselves from being sick at her appearance. Her skin was scarred, bloody and torn. Her dress a wreck. One heel of her shoes was broken and this did nothing to help with her trying to walk with some dignity. It was all that Lydia had left.

Surprisingly, Lydia still held her mask in her hand. She’d managed to keep a hold of it, even with the fight that she had with the Templar. Such a pretty thing it was too, but it was useless to her. Lydia stumbled and only just managed to catch herself before falling face first onto the floor. A small cry of pain came from her painted red lips, that were now stretched to half way down her chin. She looked every bit the monster that she truly was.

None of the guards moved to help her. All stood in their rows. Afraid to help her. She was liable to lash out in fury, and it was known far and wide that she was unpredictable as the weather.

Her head turned to sneer at one of the guards nearest where she stood. Her chin trembled as she grit her teeth in an act of defiance. No one could help her now. Scar had run off with the young witch. Why Lydia had not seen that coming was beyond her. One thing was for certain, she now had a hit list. A list of those that in her eyes wronged her….and they would all pay.

Finally, after the exhausting walk to her chambers; she was about to reach for the door handle, when she heard a woman’s voice from within.

“Oh yes!…Yes…Oh…you are so BIG! Harder…..FASTER….Please, Master!”

Lydia froze, with a dumbfounded expression on her face. She checked the door, and yes, this was her room.

“Mmmm….yes little one. I can get even bigger.”

“MASTER!…Don’t stop!”

There was the sound of grunts and bed springs. A glorious crescendo of animalistic noises coming from within Lydia’s chambers. Lydia blinked as she wondered just who could be f*cking in her bed. Her mind raced as she tried to remember the man’s voice. The woman’s….it could have been half of hell. With a loud snort, Lydia gripped the handle to her door and forced it open. What met her gaze when she entered left her gob smacked.

“RAUL!?”

“Lydia?”

“I’m coming!” The masked girl cried out as Lydia stood in the doorway, absolutely shocked. There was the Warlock, and some masked harlot, going hammer and tongs on HER bed.

“Not on my silk sheets, you’re not!” Lydia stormed into the room, but forgot about her broken shoe and tripped on the corner of the rug, sending her flying flat on her face.

“Oh…..fuck.” The warlock withdrew himself from the girl and pushed her face first into the pillows, so as to muffle any protests or other…sounds.

Lydia was slamming her fists onto the floor. She was beyond angry…beyond livid. If it wasn’t for the fact she was in such a state, it would have been comical.

Raul took up his pants and quickly threaded them on, before making his way to Lydia’s side to help her up. Only when she lifted her head and he got sight of her disfigured face, he quickly let go of her hand.

“Princess? What the hell happened to you?”

“Help me up, you idiot.”

The Warlock remembered his manners and then assisted Lydia to stand, while the girl that had been in Lydia’s bed was now trying to cover up her nakedness with a sheet. She happened to be one of the lesser royals and had been charmed by Raul earlier in the night. The girl chewed her lip nervously, as she knew that she could be in terrible trouble.

Once Lydia was standing upright, she spread her hands out as though to help give herself some balance. Her chest was rising and falling sharply, her heart pounding like there was no tomorrow.

“Lydia…..Sweetheart…” Raul implored, holding his palms together as though he was ready to pray. Lydia bared her teeth at Raul and snarled. “I was down there….in the ballroom….fighting for my life. And you….YOU were up here in my chambers no less, fucking some…some trumped up tart?!”

Raul knew he was going to pay for this mistake. He had found the girl wandering and…well, one thing led to another. He had an insatiable appetite for a pretty face….and fanny. Raul’s brows knitted however when he heard that Lydia’s life had been in danger. Her face evidence that she had put up a fight and lost. He held up a finger as though to say something witty, then slowly brought it down as he stared at Lydia’s face. It was hideous.

“Who did this to you? The Princess of Wrath?” The Warlock had assumed that since Lydia had her sights on the head of Wrath that this was the result. Oh how wrong he was.

“No!….Some holy…damn fucking…How the hell does an Angel exist in Hell? And…and I thought Excalibur belonged to some poxy King named Arthur.” She then waved her hand at her injuries. “IT did this.” Meaning that the sword’s power caused her to practically melt. She shuffled over to her dresser and started picking up face cream bottles and tonics. “I can’t go out looking like this!” Lydia looked up at her reflection and then screamed. It was a hollow and terrible sound, that would make even a man weep.

“My….beautiful face.”

The Warlock came to stand in behind the Princess and rested his hands upon her shoulders. As much as Lydia could be annoying, the Warlock had a soft spot for her. So evil…and yet so unpredictable.

“We can fix this.”

“What with? Oil of Ulan? Oh..that’s not going to do shit.”

Suddenly, the Warlock had an idea. He stuck his tongue to the inside of his cheek, while Lydia stared back at his reflection. He started to grin as he leaned down and whispered into Lydia’s ear.

“Essence of another can restore your beauty.”

Lydia’s ears pricked at this and then she cast her eyes to the figure of the girl that was still huddled in a sheet on the bed. Although it was hard to see, due to the sagging corners of Lydia’s mouth, she started to smile. She brought up a hand to clasp over Raul, who was now raising his chin proudly. “Can you forgive me?” He said, staring at her in the mirror.

“If you can fix me. Then yes. Just this once.”

The two then turned to face the girl, who stared at them both innocently.

“What?”

The view from outside Lydia’s chambers would show a strange red and green glow coming from under the door, as the Warlock started a chant that had Lydia laughing with glee. Terrified screams soon fell into silence, as another life was lost on the night of the ball.

Listen like Theives – The Finale of the Masquerade Ball of Greed : SS

With the Princess of Greed having taken flight to her chambers, the demons and thieves move their fights outside- while others try to steal Beserker from under Lydia’s nose.

Scene setting : Greed Kingdom, Seven Sins series.

This arc was written by eight writers originally.  Finishing off are Zetta, Moo, Temp, Nhal and I.

Zetta:  Blitz was prepared for another speech from the prince, as he was sure his attack was not fatal due to his dealings with such an ancient demon. But this served as a testament to his regenerative capabilities, if he wanted to kill him outright he would need to hit him with that to deal real damage against that non-physical form. Then he hadn’t a clue towards his opponent’s physical limits either, that thought called for some intuition in place though, as to which of the lords of hell was he currently up against. His thoughts usually moved at quite a fast pace, in the midst of a fight it was rare to have the opportunity to stop and think about the entirety of the situation. Yet the prince was inconsistent with his movements, slowly coordinating himself save for the one moment he had caught the half-god by surprise. Now the other man was floating about, while clearly audible, the prince would have to be ignored so that Blitz could hear his own thinking pattern above that voice. Cloud it out while his opponent led no offensive. He deduced that this was definitely not Pride, as he spoke more in regard to Anarchy Division than himself, which also ruled out Lust who would be more focused on some sort of sexuality rather than the dealings of his enemy. Similarly this was not Wrath either, as from what he gathered in the ball a war had recently happened between that Kingdom and this one which he now stood at it’s entrance. A gluttonous prince would probably not have even concerned himself with the likes of another without a selfish reason, and even if he had, while close range he doubted such a man would squander such an opportunity to simply eat his unsuspecting victim. The princess of Greed was the one who neglected his services, and was likely dealing with the templar on her own while this all went down.

Leaving only two viable possibilities, that this was either the Lord of Envy, or that of Sloth The other Prince in the ball with the guard had access to hell-fire but was idle during the whole confrontation inside, so he was most likely one of the last two as well. However it was a greater chance that this was sloth because of his continual habit to talk too much, he had so many thoughts in his head and dragged out words every time he spoke. With his final summary of thoughts, the other combatant had finally stopped talking and now Blitz could enter the fight with a greater awareness as to what he would be up against. The new form before him seemed threatening, he was too far to know of any new abilities though, but at least he was prepared to actually fight now. To avoid any attacks from the sky, the demigod would take himself to a heightened standing as well, formerly planting his feet on mid-air, the nether-realm’s law of physics altering itself to accommodate as if he was on solid ground. He ascended to the point being able to look at his opponent clearly, despite the change in appearance. “So you’re ready to get serious then, old geezer?” He would ask, briefly briefly relaxing himself before taking on a serious demeanor to match. Right then he would zoom forward at his target, waiting until the very last moment to extend an elbow outward towards him, he would then slam his free-hand’s palm into his other arm’s fist to apply a more dangerous impact.

At the last split-second before he could have made contact, he revealed this rush-tactic to be a feint and twisted his body with incredible agility. Matching this physical prowess with dexterity as well, his hands would come together, one open palm slapping against the back of another to better focus his energy at a heightened pace. Continuing the attack, he’d release an explosive wave of aether at the end of the tricky combination. It was at this moment that the doors to the ball opened, the party likely being over, and the templar-knight clad in holy artifacts being the first to leave.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________

Cecil was not surprised in the slightest when the Princess’ enemy had been allowed to simply walk out of the front door after ruining her party and even showing himself directly to her. Lightly threatening her and pushing her to damage her own form after waxing off the lives of several former party-goers. For this he was convinced that while the old ruler of Greed might have been too headstrong in his desires, this one did not have the gull to see things through. He didn’t know her personally aside from their short greeting, so it was plausible that she had personally saw no purpose in attacking a strong man like that who was now only seeking to leave. Even then he maintained his newfound feelings of distaste, her air of confidence shattered before the vision of real live strength. For that she was a coward in his eyes, playing with her own life so that she did not look the fool that he had already begun to see her as. Regardless of this, he had heard his Lady’s response, how they would be taking a walk to the exit as well. But slowly, coordinated hopefully for a different purpose. Now the other princess was headed to her own quarters most likely, in diminished glory. Oh! How simple it would be to have the behemoth back home ravish this place, and his love to set fire to the castle’s entirety while in this condition.

The thought made him chuckle, and it was now that he would stand firmly, retracting his hand wholly, now with Princess Gabriel holding him by over the shoulder. Even in her male form, he still found this very comforting and emotionally pleasurable. He broke his sturdiness in a short moment of glee, as he smiled brightly upon first contact with her. But then returned to his position as her royal guard, firmly placing himself before any that might have even looked her way. These demon nobles could be almighty in terms of riches, but just as he fell the Prince of Pride in the name of Wrath, he would murder anyone daring to threaten Her; Verbally, or visually.

Nhal:  The decaying figure did nothing more then turn his head towards his assailant as the blast of energy was taken to his side and sent him spiraling towards the now open doors of the ballroom, the shrouded cover he wore rapidly flaking and degrading off his body as he slammed back first into the first open door. Tearing straight off its hinges, the door was ripped free and went flying back into the second, catching a few exiting party-goers in a deadly vice which splayed blood, dust, and black smoke into a massive cloud around the entrance, obscuring the view within the area. Within the cloud the echoing sound of cracking bones and metals emanated before a tall figure would come into Blitz’s view, in its right hand a small square object, and in the other the mutilated body of what was once a guest of the masquerade ball.

https://i1.wp.com/i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag36/nhaluss/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps032d142b.jpg

Stepping out of the cloud was a scrawny figure whose appearance was like that of a man starved to death, with skin which resembled faded black leather. no eyes or face were visible through the gray tangle of cloth that cloaked his head, hanging scraps decked in thick layers upon layers of blood, red, orange, brown and black. Within one ebony hand he held the same playing card as before, and in the other he lifted up the torn apart body of a young man composed of only an arm, upper torso, and stump of his neck.
https://i0.wp.com/i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag36/nhaluss/05_zps7f213d83.png

Bringing the broken body up above his head the creature allowed the blood to drip down over the shreds of cloth that hung loose near its neck before lowering the once living person down, the cloth slowly parting for the body to disappear into the black abyss beneath with the gut wrenching noises of sloppily chewed flesh, cartilage and sinew before the inevitable crunching of bone. The last of the remaining organs within the torso began to fall from the holds of the broken rib-cage, some scraps of intestines, lungs, and the heart last of all. After the torso was finally devoured the monstrous creature began to slurp up the viscera like a pasta made of flesh. Finally all that was left was the heart that lay within its long skeletal fingers, still giving off its last few inevitable slowing beats, blood splashing to the floor from the aorta.
https://i2.wp.com/i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag36/nhaluss/06_zpsc3a531aa.png

Tossing the heart into the air, a pitch black tendril shot from beneath the cloth, its barbed tip spearing the muscle as its last beat sounded. The roping darkness rescinded back beneath the cloth with the heart in tow, and finally ended in a loud wet swallowing.
https://i2.wp.com/i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag36/nhaluss/07_zpsc56e6fb0.png

Stepping further out into the courtyard, the looming figure lifted the playing card between his fingers, which in comparison seemed minuscule. As it was raised the card began to crack slightly, dripping what seemed to be dark black tar, or something of the sort.
https://i2.wp.com/i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag36/nhaluss/08_zpsbeb86baf.png

The black liquid dripped and poured rapidly, pooling on the ground before rising up and forming the rough shape of a figure in front of the slender beast. Gradually bits and pieces began to form, resembling an enormously bulky suit of armor adorned with all manner of engravings and other decorations. Suddenly the black ooze began to contract, tightly winding up and vibrating right before it shot outwards with explosive force, coating much of the courtyard around its zone before slowly evaporating away. The rough figure was now a fully visible being in a massive suit of armor, one which was rather sizable at almost 8 feet tall.

https://i2.wp.com/i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag36/nhaluss/lord_of_chaos_by_daemon_patriarch-d4swrj5_zps4b024063.jpg
https://i1.wp.com/i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag36/nhaluss/09_zps68e115c2.png

The skeletal being that sat behind the armor gave a brief turn, waving with one hand as its voice rang out towards Blitz.
https://i1.wp.com/i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag36/nhaluss/10_zps4f32b54c.png

Disappearing like a breeze of smoke, the hand, as well as its owner faded into dust and disappeared from sight, the enormous suit of armor in front of it shifting and taking up a heavy combat position as it spun its sword in hand, gripping it tightly. Its voice screeched through the armor, deep, but sharp at the same time, causing the ears of those who heard it to ache at its metallic grind.
https://i2.wp.com/i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag36/nhaluss/01_zpsf128ba3b.png

As suddenly as the armor spoke it was already rushing forwards, sword dragging through the dirt and stone below its feet, unyielding to anything in its path. Despite the size of the armored figure, its speed was incredible, enough that those who underestimated it would obviously be caught off guard. Just as quickly as it hand begun moving, the hulking mass of metal was upon Blitz, swinging its enormous sword upwards towards his torso.

Moo:  Kirsikka really hadn’t the slightest idea what that armor had just said, but whatever the case, he sounded cocky. There was little disregard for heat when it came to the demon’s ice; it was, by normal means, not anything that could be melted. However, the searing of ice caused it to sizzle and steam after several moments while Kirsikka glanced at it. A small, cheeky grin broke across her lips as she slid the small blade away from the suit of armor, hopefully finishing the fine cut she had began in the first place. All that would be necessary was one more, if she could manage to near it again. Not that it would really matter… Her body disappeared, taking up her frost form to wisp back a few feet as she originally intended. With her earring crushed, it would only be a matter of time.

Gabriel had more or less become bored with the situation at hand, watching the Templar part the crowd in order to exit. Had she been so anxious to see his head on a pike while picking her teeth with his bones, she would have sent Cecil scouting after him. It crossed her mind for a moment before the man was out of sight, and finally decided against it; to waste her Royal Guard’s efforts would be useless. The pleasantries of tearing flesh from bone could wait just a bit longer… Besides, Lydia’s exit may have been short-lived, but it was the most entertainment Gabriel had during the entire evening. She grinned cheekily well after the princess of greed shuffled past her and Cecil. She turned her head to watch the ambitious–and rather disfigured–demon climb the stairs slowly. It didn’t matter if the princess could feel Gabriel’s eyes on her, or if she took offense to the attention; this was a sight to savor for a while, to keep herself occupied. The expression the demon wore would make a fine memory, if not how the ball had went to shambles so quickly.

“I suppose we had better find our carriage,” Gabriel said with a certain giddiness creeping in her voice. Her expression most likely betrayed the chipper feelings within as she gestured to the doors, which had more or less become a little less clustered. Only–until something, orsomeone came crashing through the doors, causing many casualties in the briefest of moments. It only took a bat of her lash before she was looking upon some skeletal figure, gutting and feeding from one of the demons. The woman was speechless…and in a good way. She gave a loud laugh. A simple HA! to seeing such a normally bewildering sight. “That man knows how to party.” Gabriel gave her staff a small twirl, looking about the room while the figure boasted and talked to who she assumed was the same pink-haired man from before. That was a fight she would also ignore, as she believed Sloth would not be a man she wanted in her way. At least as of yet. “We’re on our way, then.” The princess would be the one to lead them from the doors, ignoring the mess and slipping through with the remainders of terrified guests.

Astarte had more or less been well behaved while she waited for an opportunity to chase after her lover. Blitz was outside in who knew what situation, and meanwhile, she was stuck waiting several feet away from the crowd rushing the door. Knowing Lydia would rather have her life, and the holy guy was too good a soul to go back on his word, she wouldn’t dare near any further to that holy aura. She didn’t have any death wish, nor did she want to become as hideously deformed as the princess of greed herself. It wasn’t until the commotion shortly after the holy being’s exit that she would have the opportunity to see him again. And while the first thing she witnessed was the bloodshed and morbid devouring, she still wanted nothing more than to join the Blitz in the courtyard. Other demons who had actually survived the onslaught were rushing through the door as far away from the skeletal figure as it indulged itself. Astarte blended easily as she slid past, taking to the air quickly to watch the rest of the scene unfold. If the demigod required or requested her help, she was there for him. He might not have to ask, with the urgency she felt to cheer him on with the sudden charge of the new monstrosity that had taken form.

Razorbackwriter:  “Er….scuse me?….I…Hey?!” The Doctor kept trying to get a word in as the scores of people and blooded demons were leaving the masked ball in droves. It was like a crush…a sea of evil beings, that all looked as though they had just been to battle within the very castle of Greed. “We’re late!…What happened?” He grabbed the collar of a passing demon, whose had one eyeball hanging out of its socket.

“Holy….creature. Burnt the Princess. Dying…many dying.” The demon spat his words at the Doctor, as he then wrestled himself from the Doctor’s grasp. He didn’t want to stay a moment longer, like so many other guests.

Doctor Wilhelm turned back to his small crew from Hell’s Kitchen and threw up his arms in disbelief. All the trouble they had gone to, get ready for this night. And he was to show off Loc to the Prince of Pride. Not that he thought the Prince was even still here, if the crowd departing was anything to go by.

“Ladies….Loc. A bloody massacre and we missed it.” It was almost as though the Doctor was more upset about missing the carnage, than missing the dancing. The creation, who was standing up the back looked confused. Was there to be no dancing with his beautiful Roxanne?

“No….dance?”

“No, my dear boy. No dance.”

“Loc sad.” The creation’s face was the epitome of sadness. Poor thing. Loc stared down at the fair and buxom Roxanne with a huge pout. “Loc sad.” He repeated. A crack appeared in his face, the stitches breaking. A small tear of pus rolled down his cheek.

The Doctor knew better than investigate the state of the ball room. He would leave that for Igor. Seems like the hunchback didn’t miss out after all. Rather than hanging around, the Doctor placed his arm around Narcissa and turned her back towards the car. “I still think pizza is an option.” He offered.

The Blacksmith Shop

A slight chittering sound came in from the large webbing that was up against the far wall. There was a deep cocoon like tunnel that stretched inwards, and though the being from within had only made a very light noise before, the sound of the awaking armor had brought about a reaction from whatever lived in the web. Slowly, a leg appeared, then an arm. Each wrapped in a sheer black spider web like netting. Soon the full body of the being, that was now in the form of a woman, crawled out and rose to standing. She had long flowing black hair, with the deepest of green eyes that you had ever seen. She blinked twice to allow herself to see through the darkness, and made out the wisp of frosty air, as the girl who had been carving herself a piece of the enchanted Beserker armor was moving to another part of the room. The armor who had used some sort of enchantment to super heat, when being frosted by the young girl, had spoken in Rhefugi. The ancient language of the demon kind. This demon….this…spider like woman – tilted her head and slowly slinked out of the shadows, watching this woman who held the knife with keen interest.

“SEEwae HA-lueay-fe-peaezz ah-bae RA-luaeae-kuk qahee-de-kuk zneay-fe ooahee oh-deeay-jaeae eay-bae zwae n-feaeq ooahee qae-luae kukahq-fe wae-luae.””

(translation : “The Princess of Greed would skin you alive if she knew you were down here.”)

The spider woman glanced up at Beserker and then at the girl again. The girl may not even be demon kind, though what she was doing in Hell, remained to be seen.

“What are you doing?” The dark haired spider woman asked in English.

~RB~

Zetta:  With no other necessities keeping him here, Cecil was off after his princess. She took her stand with cane in hand, despite his near-beckoning to move onto wrap this castle and all who followed it under the thumb of Wrath. However she had other plans and respected whatever rules were in place to set each of the seven kingdoms fairly away from each other. Since he had apparently done well here, he would silent once more as they would make their way to return to the carriage they had rode in on. Their driver had been doing nothing while he waited for the entire party to be over, Cecil had moved first to properly escort Gabriel, opening the doors quickly. Then he would accompany her and the two would be off elsewhere.

Moo:  Kirsikka reformed to hearing a female’s voice speaking the language that the Beserker had. She looked past the suit of armor if only for a moment to glance over her audience. A single woman; a sort of spider-like demon, actually. Kirsikka was interested, but not so much to keep her eyes on the nosy thing. Especially with the abrupt coming of winds through the room. What should have been impossible. A black cloud came rushing through, wrapping itself around the awaiting frost demon. With the view of the skeletal figure, a smirk was brought across her lips. “Someone gave you a touch of trouble, did they?” Of course referring to his lack of, well, flesh. And he had been brutalizing someone from the look and smell of the cloth he adorned himself with. Being that he answered the woman himself, she felt no need to speak until she was addressed. “That depends. Would you like to entertain yourself a while?”

Narcissa had been confused with the situation at hand. Why had the four been locked out when the ball had started only a short while ago? She frowned, her giddiness turning into anticipation. It was obvious with her antsy moving, constantly twitching or fiddling with something while she stepped this way and that. It wasn’t until a rush of demons ushered themselves through the doors that the Doctor was able to grasp one of them. As confused as the monster was, she listened intently with a curious expression, eyes slightly wide. “Sounds like trouble!” A disregarded comment as the demon finally pulled himself away from the Doctor’s grasp.

The frankensteinian monster’s disappointment was as apparent as Loc’s, though she didn’t cry. “Poor Loc!” she exclaimed after Wilhelm’s confirming there would be no dancing. Narcissa hadn’t much else to say until she felt herself wrapped in the arm of the good Doctor. The mention of food was always something that could bring a smile to her face. Dancing could be done at any given moment! They didn’t need a ball to party. She would show Loc that later in the evening. After pizza! “Okay!” the monster agreed while she was walked toward the Roadster once again. The only place in town where they could really fill their pallets with pizza was the restaurant within the middle kingdom.

The Blacksmiths shop

Things were getting interesting down in the Blacksmith’s shop. The unknown dark haired spider like demon watched on with heightened interest as the ice maiden was joined by one of Hell’s more powerful entities. It actually brought about an amused smile as she watched the bloody and skeletal form wrap itself around the girl, then speak with such an aristocratic tone. Oh yes….odds on it was one of the Seven Princes. What on earth they were doing down in the bowels of Greed Castle, instead of enjoying the sumptuous delights of the ball buffet was anyone’s guess. But it was safe to assume that the ice maiden was in cahoots with ‘tall dark and bloody’. Charlotte looked up at the helm of Beserker and the armor surprisingly glanced down at her. Odd that they both spoke the same tongue. But…there was a reason for that.

“OH-feah-seewae-lu HA-lueay-fe-peae.” (Translation : “Another Prince.”)

“EAY-see’z ah-kuk-kuk wahq ooahee oh-see-see-luoh-pe-see seewae-te. Qeayzw EAY woh-kuk seewoh-see zneay-de-de.” (Translation : “It’s odd how you attract them. Wish I had that skill.”)

The suit of armor actually let out a strange hollowed laugh as Charlotte simply shrugged her shoulders playfully, then smiled at the new arrival.

“After a party favorite? Let me guess. You came to take what belonged to Mammon.” The spider maiden held her finger in the air, before twirling it towards the hellish looking armor. The statues that stood in the circle that surrounded the suit of armor all suddenly stood to attention. How…very strange. The spider demon glanced at the stone warriors with her tongue caught between her teeth. She was enjoying this. She then cupped a hand to the side of her cheek as if she was telling some great secret.

“They know royalty.” A sly wink and then she hopped down off the podium that Beserker was standing on. Charlotte took a step back and simply folded her arms.

“Well…go on. You do want him, don’t you?” Another broad flash of a smile and wobbled her head back and forth. “Before Greedy comes down from her tower.” Greedy being her nickname for Lydia.

Beserker turned his helm towards the pair and then went back to being inanimate. The red glow dissipated from his eye slits.

~Outside Greed Castle~

All dressed up and no party to go to. How disappointing. No chance to show off Loc. No dances. No fine finger food. Ah well. Wilhelm did brighten when he felt Narcissa wrap her arm around him. It was a nice comforting gesture and brought about a shy smile. He could always count on the Hell’s kitchen crew to cheer him up when he was down. So it was decided. Pizza at that nice restaurant in town.

As the Doctor and his date swanned towards the Roadster, Loc hoisted Roxanne up over his shoulder as though he was carrying her out of a fire and trotted along behind the Doctor and Narcissa like a happy puppy.

Nhal:  Peering over his shoulder the skeletal figure would turn his ‘face’ towards Kirsikka. His lanky figure twisting oddly as he did so. The air around him swirled slightly, still in a light burst of movement from his arrival and the floor echoed with drops of blood falling from his cloths.

Listening to the words of the other demon in the room, his head turned over in her direction, his body following suit as he plodded towards her slowly, looking over her every feature whilest he moved. He was extremely tall, nearly seven feet at least, and yet his body was still slouched over as if he was carrying some heavy object upon his shoulders. His voice scratched at her eardrums roughly as he spoke, especially standing this close.

Giving a soft shrug he walked back over between Kirsikka and the armored suit, wrapping a hand around her wrist and another on the shoulder of the armor. The suit gradually turning to dust, the tall dark figure and Kirsikka following close behind.

Moo:  Having heard her accomplice’s answer, Kirsikka simply nodded. The miniature blade she had kept hidden before was gone from sight once again. She simply waited while she felt his hand wrap around her wrist, watching as he put his other on the shoulder of the armor. Her efforts to cut into the suit weren’t necessary after all, and it left her with a small exhale of what could have been relief. At least her Lord’s wishes were fulfilled one way or another, and he was sure to be pleased with the sight of the entire suit. Instead of some scrap metal cut away from its breast plate. By this time, the stranger’s words were nothing but a buzzing in Kirsikka’s ears. She only had to wait patiently before she was in her Lord’s sights once again.

The Blacksmith’s shop

Charlotte listened to the skeletal tall demon speak with such a threatening tone. Odd really. His words were of how that they couldn’t be followed, and that once in the“Master’s possession that he welded absolute power over his charges or vessels. This was really of no consequence to Charlotte. It wasn’t her suit to begin with. She just…understood it a hell of a lot better than say Mammon, or the latest Mistress of Greed – Lydia. You see, Beserker was more of a curse than anything and naturally, Charlotte was not at all bothered that they wanted to take it. That is EXACTLY what Mammon had done, and we all know how that ended. Was this new Master so great that he or she…or it could change the will of the armor? Cause it to go against its nature? Break the curse of insanity that came with wearing it to battle?

The spider maiden watched on with an amused expression as the being took hold of the hand of the ice maiden, and then the Beserker – all of which crumpled into dust upon the floor. Charlotte cast her eyes down at it and then gave a light shoulder shrug. No doubt Lydia would be pissed at the loss of the suit, but Charlotte…..oh she had no ties to Greed, or any kingdom in hell for that matter. She served one, and Mazmezz was more than enough, thank you very much. What was she doing in Greed? You might ask. She was a Bebilith. One of Hell’s great demon hunters. Only thing was she chose her prey at will. In the humanoid form she was easier to deal with. As a full blown arachnid….that was another story.

The dust had not yet blown away, but Charlotte wasn’t hanging around to find out. Her crimson stained lips moved as she spoke an incantation, which caused her image to blur and then shimmer from view. Acting out her plane shifting technique which allowed her to move easily from realm to realm, or to a new place in Hell, the spider demon left the Blacksmith shop. Destination….unknown.
