Boy, did Kat know how to pick a place. You could literally taste the testosterone as you walked in the front door. Wall to wall muscle and beef cake. Fighters of all sizes and shapes. From dwarves to Giants and orcs. Many were enjoying drinks, betting on the upcoming fights, or admiring the hostesses, that went from table to table ensuring that the customer’s every need was serviced. It was actually rare for female fighters to make an appearance, which was when the place really erupted. A few of the regulars spotted Kat off the bat, and the loud sound of wolf whistles and cat calls began. Typical. Ruled by their prick dicks and not enough blood to the brain. Kat sashayed in, her hips swinging like a pendulum – hypnotic and sensual as fuck. She knew how to draw attention, but the real draw card was coming in behind her.

The Princess of Wrath. A few men got instant raging boners just from the sight of the red vixen in her leather cat suit like fight gear. She was armed, sexy and down right dangerous.

“Hello boys. Brought my new Mistress out to play. Meow.”

A few whispered, and there was much elbow nudging along with winking. It was easy to see that a few of them were already having lusty thoughts about the pair. A few probably would pay a lot to see the Princess and her cat in a pool of jello, or swatting each other with pillows whilst on a long greasy pole. All to titillate, sure – but the Kat had other ideas. The reason they were there was so that the Princess could learn to take control of her fire powers. To regain her soul and above all, to kick someone’s dick into the dirt.

The bar manager, a short statured irish dwarf came hobbling over. He used a emerald tipped cane for support and with an eye patch on his left eyes, he used his shining right one to observe the pair.

“Who have you dragged in my club, Kat?” Oh he knew the feline well, but had never met royalty before. Really, he’d shit a brick if he knew who she was. Did the Princess want to be incognito? Kat chewed her bottom lip and wound her tail around the bar manager’s throat in a sensual manner. “My Mistress. We want your biggest and baddest boof head to turn into cat food.” She giggled as she wiggled and shot her Mistress a wink.

“Ahahaha, really. Well, I think my punters might enjoy the show. ROCK, come here.”

Rock happened to be a mountain of a man, who didn’t look to have any brains to speak of. Kat’s eyes slowly went up till she could see the fat neck and then the triple chins. What a boof head.

https://i2.wp.com/nerdrating.com/files/2013/07/ultimate_warrior.jpg

“Grrrrrr.” He didn’t like the kitty one bit, cause she was such wicked looking thing. Kat pouted at him, and then turned her head shyly towards the bar manager. Kat was trying not to laugh. The guy’s painted face and shocking hairdo was too much. Had he fallen from an 80’s time machine and landed in hell?

“Three rounds, tag team. Mistress, me and…Pebbles.”

“ROCK!” The man mountain roared.

“Oh sorry, I figured people would call you Pebbles due to the size of your nuts.”

What would Sayaka say?

Those fiery gold eyes seemed to go right back to their icy selves as the Princess followed Kat into the club. Sure enough, the place reeked of testosterone for those of the higher senses, especially for females; Sayaka didn’t care for it, and she actually had to vie for a straight face so that her toes and face didn’t curl up from the stench. She kept her left hand tightly gripping the sheath of her sword, her right hand tensed in such a way that it wasn’t noticeable to the idiots surrounding them, but to Kat it would have been, that she could draw the weapon in an instant without warning. An old habit acquired by years upon years of training.

She was aware of the lustful stares which followed her frame, and she ignored the fact of the whispers; she wasn’t a fool, she had the brain needed to imagine what they could have been discussing, and her eyes weren’t so bad that she couldn’t perceive the erections within the men’s pants. Hmph.. fools all of them, though more than one gave an audible gulp of fear once her icy stare had been turned on them. The very way she held herself and the icy look in those burning golden orbs said it all: she could cut their dicks and balls from their bodies in an instant and walk away without any remorse. Sayaka stayed silent for the most part during the conversation with the owner, till the beef-head decided to show up.

“…Hmph. I don’t think his balls are the only thing that’s small my dear. Hmm… I have a better idea.”

Sayaka gave a small smirk as she drew her sword without a word, giving several men the impression she was insane and about to try and kill the guy, but that was a ruse as the very moment her sword was stabbed into the ground with a clang, her smirk widened into a small, but twisted grin as she began to pull on the power of her flames slowly. It was the same grin that she’d had in the throne room, but unlike before she was in control.

https://i1.wp.com/i.gyazo.com/812ed74a3fdeff065717863eae4ae821.png
“If he can get passed my sword, I’ll hand him the win, and quite a bit of money to go with it. Say…. two thousand in gold? I’ll also be fighting alone this time, let’s see if you can do it.”

Oh Sayaka was definitely toying with the owner and the brute, oh she was having some fun with this. Not only was she insulting the brute, but she was also placating the owner while aiming for his temper as well. It was like she was slowly becoming a different person, far more . . . conniving. Several of the men that had been eyeing her figure through her clothing were beginning to laugh, but others who were on the smarter side of things could tell that she was serious and were going wide-eyed in shock, while others still could almost see the sinister aura that was beginning to emit itself from her frame which only made them gulp visibly while move several feet further away.

Sayaka moved with a soft rustle, not losing her smile as she waited for his response, that grin gleaming while her aura slowly enveloped her while she pulled more and more on the flames, feeling her power rising, her Demonic Aura pushing into her while her flames leaked their power into her. What would be their response?

Razorbackwriter:  The Hangman’s noose – Fight Club

This was the moment that Katrina had been waiting for. Her Mistress didn’t let her down when she showed that she was more than ready to get into training. The fight club patrons were not aware that this was all good practice in learning how to control the curse. By having the thick as a Brick “Rock” as the crash test dummy. As much as Katrina would have loved to get a chance to tag her Mistress, she knew when to put up her paws and let it be a one on one competition. A little shrug from the cat woman’s shoulders showed that she wasn’t miffed about missing out on scratching Rock’s eyes out.

“Guess you’re not going to get a little pussy tonight, Pebbles.” She gave the wrestler a pat on his chest and then grimaced, cause his skin was soaked in baby oil. Kat smeared her hand on the fight club owner, before dancing off to the bar, and climbing up on the top of it, so she could get a much better view of the show.

Sayaka drew her sword in a fluid motion and this brought gasps and some applause from the mostly male audience. Her weapon was pretty impressive, and while the Rock was more of a hands on fighter, he tried not to be intimidated by her actions. He snorted loudly through his large nostrils, getting a bit of snot on the back of the fight club manager’s head.

“If he can get passed my sword, I’ll hand him the win, and quite a bit of money to go with it. Say…. two thousand in gold? I’ll also be fighting alone this time, let’s see if you can do it.”

A huge cheer erupted from the bar, and Katrina was already dancing up and down – swinging her tail as she watched on with a sinful grin. That was some wager, and she knew that the manager could barely knock back that amount of coin. It was more than he made in a week.

“You’re on, Wench.” The dwarf said, pointing a gnarly finger at her, before stepping back and allowing the Rock full access at the Princess. Another cheer and then money started changing hands in earnest, while the Rock started to flex and roll his shoulders. He even went as far as to crack his neck, then give his budgie smugglers a good tug. Yes, he was wearing gold wrestler speedos. For such a big man, he didn’t look to be packing more than a dead bird. Nothing to write home about. Seems Kat was spot on with the pebble remark. The Rock beat his chest with his fists, causing a spray of that baby oil to get in the eyes of the front row spectators. Having that all over his body, surely was a fire hazard.

https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTI1wG0doCdKEJhgc5oTtJSZ5toVdbeKuFYFOMk6EJhtInaE_0J

The Rock was finally ready, and pointed at Sayaka.

“Going to break that sword, and throw you over my shoulder to have for later, after I get my money!” Cocky son of a bitch.
The Rock started a run at the Princess of Wrath and his right hand shot out to try and seize the handle of the sword, to wrestle it from Sayaka’s grip.

Watching up on the bar, Katrina put her hand over her eyes, but peeked between the break in her fingers.

“I can’t watch…but the suspense is killing me.”

A New Era of Greed – Seven Sins.

Continuing on after the fall of Lydia in the Maze of Greed, there is a new Princess of Greed.

Dessy:

Mariela looked at Scar, realizing how much taller he was than her. “You’re taller now.” she stated with a small smile. She had always thought Scar was a charmer – but now he actually looked it. But she didn’t state this out loud, and instead bit the corner of her lip and gave a smile, before turning to Tessa and her brothers.

As they walked through the maze, Mariela took time to look around and notice how truly beautiful it was. Certainly much different than what it looked like before. It was a nice change, and Mariela admired how beautiful the maze was. Made her actually want to walk through it this time. Mariela looked down when Scar squeezed her hand, entwining their fingers together as he did so. She then looked up when Scar spoke.

“The castle is quite grand. It has everything you can imagine, and certainly fits for a perfect castle for Greed.” she said with a small laugh, looking at Tessa and her brothers again. “There was a… incident at the ball. We weren’t there to see what happened, but my guess is none of it was good. And if we walk and it’s completely destroyed, I apologize.” she spoke, turning to look ahead again.

“I didn’t think you could do it. Kill the Princess of Greed.” Tessa spoke, and Mariela turned to look at her. “I’ve killed once before, you know. That’s why I ended up in Hell.” she spoke. “That was different.” Sean spoke up. “You did it to protect us.” he spoke again, and Mariela looked at him. “And I killed Lydia to protect myself, and everybody else. The same exact reason I killed that man years ago. To protect the one’s I love.”

“Lydia was so… powerful. Yet you managed to kill her.” Tessa spoke, still not believing that little Mariela defeated the “powerful” Princess of Greed. Mariela just sighed, looking forward again. “Lydia may have been powerful, but that power caused her death. She may have been Princess of Greed, but there is such a thing as being too greedy.” she started.“Her Greed and ambition and desire to be the most powerful person in Hell caused her demise.” she said, then looked at the trio. “That, and the fact she had a really bad habit of underestimating people who were “lower” than her.” she said with a smile.

“So, you’re the new Princess of Greed. What are you going to do now?” Sam asked and Mariela shrugged. “Guess we’ll have to wait and see. But I know one thing. I’ll do a hell of a better job running this place than Lydia ever did.” she spoke.

Kingdom of Greed – Castle

While the group had been trapped within the maze, the main part of the castle – aka the ballroom looked like it had been blitzed. Clean up crews were already working on the damage, and one of the worst parts being the grand chandelier. Broken scattered crystals were simply everywhere. Blooded bodies were being piled up onto special trolleys by men in white suits, which was funny since their suits were now splattered with the blood remains of many a ball attendee. Scar had gotten Mariela out of the ballroom just in time it seems, but even he didn’t realize the state of destruction that awaited them. They had heard it, but to see it would be a shock, especially for the likes of Tessa and Mariela’s brothers – Sean and Sam.

Thank goodness the rest of the castle had been untouched, save for the courtyard, which was a battle ground for two unlikely guests, one being a Prince no less. Fancy bringing their dramas to a social event. Then again…it was Lydia who hosted it, so it was going to be drama packed no matter who she invited. The stairs that led back up to the Ballroom were at the start of the Maze, so when the group had walked out, they could hear the sound of workmen and cleaners hard at it. News of Lydia’s passing had already started to spread and so when the faithful and servants of the former Princess saw the return of Mariela with Scar at her side, they all dropped tools and started to bow in reverence of the new Princess of Greed. Mariela, was already Duchess and well liked by practically all of Greed’s servants and staff. There were many a happy face, some waving, others began to cheer. Such a difference to the times before, when Lydia ruled with a cruel and unpredictable hand.

https://i0.wp.com/26.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lopu8dNPZL1qi54ezo1_400.gif

“Long live the Princess of Greed…Mariela. Three cheers!”

The gathered all began to cheer loudly and clap. Such happiness in the midst of the chaos that the Ball had brought. With a new leader, the people of greed had reason to rejoice. May this time be different. May the wars end and the sons come home. Enough blood had been spilt in the name of Greed. It was time for change. Radical change. And Mariela was the one to bring it to them.

Scar looked a little sheepish when Mariela had told him that he was taller. Even he wasn’t sure as to why, but took the smile and the compliment of sorts in his stride. He was more than proud to be on her arm. The alp knew that in the coming days that she might need someone to lean on.

Hearing Mariela explain to her family, and Tessa about how she had killed Lydia out of defense and to protect her family, Scar could not have been prouder. She had needed to step up if she was going to rule, that was for sure. Hell was no place for the weak, and seeing her in this new light – the strength she had came not from wanting more or being greedy and ambitious, but being there to save them all. The Alp glanced back at the now beautiful maze and smirked.

“Lydia got what was coming to her….simple as that.” He always believed in Mariela, but there was the side of him that wanted to be the one to protect her, come what may. It’s what any man that was in love with a woman would do.

Right now however, it was time for that long awaited reunion. Scar knew that Mariela probably had much she wished to talk about with her family, now that the danger had passed. He gave Mariela’s hand a light squeeze and winked before pulling his hand away.

https://i0.wp.com/static.tumblr.com/bcl7ypa/PHbm3xge7/madswan1.gif

“I shall leave you to enjoy your family and go organize a meal for everyone. Once I see if we have any plates left.”

He chuckled and then danced off inside the building as many workers picked up their tools again and went back to work.

~RB~

Dessy:  Mariela walked with Scar up to the stairs that led back to the ballroom, Tessa on her other side with her brothers next to her. They walked up the stairs, and right before heading into the ballroom, they stopped as servants and workers began bowing. Mariela smiled and curtsied, looking around at all of them. She had been well liked by everyone, even as a Dutchess. So of course they’d take her being Princess quite well. As they cheered, she began laughing, turning her head to give a small smile to all of them. “Thank you.” she said with a bow of her head, continuing to smile at them.

https://i2.wp.com/media.tumblr.com/fbe9bac0cad6f0879f91a656e2e7caf0/tumblr_inline_mlehwkFM9G1qz4rgp.gif

They all turned back around and went back to work, and that’s when Mariela had finished explaining everything to the trio. Hearing Scar’s comment, she looked at him and nodded before turning to look at the others. “If Lydia didn’t have such a bad habit of underestimating people, or letting her ambition get in the way, she might not be dead right now.” she spoke. Feeling Scar squeeze her hand, she looked at him and nodded at his response, giving him another small smile before watching him walk away.

https://razorbackwriteraus.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/c45d6-92c2a612002c921a50ec77f9.gif

She gestured for Tessa and her brothers to follow, turning and now walking into the ballroom. She cringed at the gasps that came from behind her from the trio at the sight: broken pieces of chandelier everywhere, bloodied bodies being carried away by workers. She turned around, giving a sheepish smile to the trio. “As I said, it was quite an eventful night. Scar got me out for most of it, so I didn’t think it was this bad, but… I apologize for having to see this.” she spoke.“Let’s go somewhere else that’s a little less… destroyed.” she said, smiling and turning to walk around.

She carefully stepped over the glass and bodies, the trip doing the same, before she lead them out to the hallway and away from the ballroom. “Seems like one wild party…” Sam commented, causing Tessa to hit him. Mariela just laughed.“It was interesting, to say the least.” she spoke, stopping to look at them. “How’s mom and dad?” she asked, looking at her brothers. “Good, now. Mom went into a bit of a depressed state after your death, and it took everything dad had to bring her back. She still gets upset at the mention of your name.” Sean spoke, and Mariela frowned.

“We had to move somewhere else. The entire town thought all of us were dead, and we wanted to keep it that way, so we left.” Sam finished. “I was the only one who knew. I moved with them, and I still keep in touch with all of them on a daily basis. I think it makes your mother feel better still having me around.” she then said. “I miss them. And you guys. But, hey. I did what I had to do.” she said. “At least you guys know I’m okay. Sorta…” she said, furrowing her eyebrows, but then shaking her head.

Kingdom of Greed – Castle

The Kitchens thankfully had not been hit by the ballroom blitz. The crockery for the most part had been spared from the blooded onslaught, and Scar breathed a sigh of relief. There was nothing worse than having nothing to eat off. With cooks and maids ready to serve. The alp coughed loudly enough to be heard by all, and many a head turned towards him.

“The Princess has her family staying and I think they are in need of a good feed. So, bring out the best silver and crockery, lets show them what the greed kitchens have to offer.” He clapped his hands for them all to get started and the kitchen crew took to the orders with gusto. To see them all working in such a busy fashion, but with smiles and happy chatter was worth its weight in gold. With that underway, the Alp could return to Mariela’s side and get a glimpse of what family life was like with Mariela and her brothers. In the back of his mind however, he knew a time would come when the new Princess would need to make a choice about whether they stayed or returned to the world inside his hat. Scar reached up and gave his beloved hat a pat. He was so glad to have gotten it back, along with his head. Being headless in Wonderland was not the place he wanted to be….no, Scar wanted more than anything to be at Mariela’s side, and watch her bring new order to Greed.

Re-entering the ruined ball room, the first thing to catch Scar’s attention was the blacksmith dwarf; Suda. He had come running up from the lower caverns of the castle, his face was etched with fright. What on earth was it that had the dwarf reacting this way. Was it the sight of the carnage that was still being cleaned up?

“Scar!…SCAR! Someone stole Beserker!”

The Alp blinked and then stared at the tiny dwarf like he was crazy. “What? Who on earth would want to steal that evil sack of steel?’ No one liked Beserker, in particular Scar. The two had a run in in the days long before the ball, but after the death of Mammon. The dwarf whined and then he handed Scar what looked to be like giant silvery webbing.

https://i0.wp.com/31.media.tumblr.com/b765f6935ea771f8153368d3c38ae1cf/tumblr_n59ud3PCih1so84gyo2_500.gif

“I found this on the podium where I kept the suit. Like its from some giant spider.” The Dwarf was sure that this was evidence in some way, but couldn’t imagine a giant spider being down in his work shop. Small ones, yes….and thousands of them. “I seen cobwebs before, Scar….but nothing this big.”

Scar ran his finger over the silken threads, that were a little bit too sticky for his liking. He tried to shake it off his hand, but it appeared to be well and truly stuck. “Gah…revolting thing.” Scar grimaced. So…Beserker was gone. In one way, Scar was pleased, since he didn’t think he ever wanted Mariela to be tricked into wearing the thing. It was nothing more than just another curse at Greed. A temptation that led to the downfall of Mammon.

The Alp then raised his head and looked at all the corners of the roof, to see if there was a big spider lurking. What if it was still here? Scar whistled for some guards, who all came over – a group of six. “Search the grounds. We may have an arachnid infestation…..a big one.” He tried to smear the webbing on one of the guards armor chest plates, and then his own hand got stuck. “Ugh…worse than some old slag’s undies.” He finally got it off his hand and shuddered, before looking back at Suda. “You go lock down the blacksmith shop and weapons store. I need to go and speak to Mariela.”He really didn’t want to be the bearer of bad tidings, but he felt that she should know.

https://i1.wp.com/static4.fjcdn.com/thumbnails/comments/One+Ravenclaw+please+_3fe8b8331c0fc615fe6246d852a4388d.gif

Suda bowed and then scuttled off, while the guards broke formation and went spider hunting. Scar dragged his hand down his forehead then his face. “We’ve not even had tea yet and there is already something troubling.” The alp sighed, before going off to find Mariela.

Thankfully, Mariela was in another part of the castle, and he could overhear that they were all talking about what life was like back home. It was walking back in that he caught the end of the conversation. That she missed them and her brothers. She did what she had to do, to end up in Hell, and claimed to be okay…sorta. That furrowed brow, meant that she was conflicted. Scar cringed. Oh she didn’t need bad news now, so he put on his happy face and interjected.

“We have plates. Heh. Lunch anyone?”

The Maze of Greed – The Finale.

We come to the end of the Maze of Greed, with the defeat of Lydia- but the drama isn’t over.  Bandit carries a secret within her that is bound to change everything.

Artie:

Maze

https://i1.wp.com/media.tumblr.com/fff7e3a1b94662fd5a00c9f2e6132fb8/tumblr_moaz5qMNp21rlh2v4o1_500.gif

Bandit let herself fall nearly limp in Habib’s arms, shaking still. Her heart beat quickly as all she could smell was the fallen angel, all she could see was him, too.. Eyelids fluttered until they closed completely, her arms reaching up to wrap around the fallen’s neck.. Though, despite how much she shook in fear, some part of her wished that it was not Habib that held her, but Raul. God, what was it that attracted her to the messed and broken? Perhaps, that it was that she herself was a mess, that she too was a broken soul, waiting to be put back together.. Another part of her wished nothing more than to drink this all away, and the final part wanted nothing but her death.. What further suffering could she be spared if she was killed now..? Her eyes opened slowly as she gazed up at Habib, head falling back to be against his arm – there was no in between, she could not hold herself up currently..

Her breathing was hard gasps, almost wheezing rather than actual breaths. Her heart beat seemed almost impossibly fast, echoing — wait a minute.. No. Her heart beat was actually quite faint and slow, but yet.. there was another sound, thumpthumthumpthump, rapid in tune and seeming to come from her lower abdomen.. Oh. Oh.. it was another heartbeat entirely.. Yes. Bandit was pregnant. And Raul was her child’s father.. But she did not yet know of this pregnancy, she did not yet know of the little being that she held inside of her, a child with magic as strong as its father’s and a will to live as strong as its mother’s… Bandit needed nutrition and warmth, she would catch a sickness remaining outside and in such a weakened state – in fact, she could feel the same waves of unconsciousness overcoming her, appearing to be faint for another time. This would not be good for her baby..

Scar was now beaming brightly as his beautiful Princess took his hand. In the change from coming back in the hat, he was actually taller now, and one might say better looking. Maybe it was his love for the young witch that had him appear this way. Then again, it was not how one looked, but what they were truly inside that made them worthy of love. Scar had been to hell and back…really, in order to save the girl of his dreams. He had been sent away in his own hat, and then brought back her family to her in order to help her. Little did he truly understand that in order to save her, she had to learn to save herself. It would be a good lesson for life and one that would be important in the coming days as the rest of hell figured out that Lydia was dead.

Wow…the evil bitch finally got what was coming to her and she had a particularly nasty end. But looking about them now, they would see nothing but beauty. The maze had come back full and strong – vivid and colourful. Gone were the evils that walked its many lengths, but instead there were brightly coloured flowers and singing birds. Maybe this was an unnatural phenomenon in a place like Greed, but it matched the new Princess perfectly.

Scar gave Mariela’s hand a squeeze as he gestured for Sam, Sean and Tessa to follow. The alp knew that the family deserved a reunion that made the whole adventure worth while. In the coming days, Mariela would have a lot of choices to make. For one…she must decide if her family was to return. Mariela might be able to visit them, but the truth was she now belonged in Hell, and Greed was her kingdom and her home.

“Wait till you guys see the castle. It’s probably still a mess from the ball. Hope they have clean up crews working on it.” No truer statement had been made. There had been magical fights up there and much destruction and death. Not exactly the kind of place you want to take your relatives. Walking past the great giant Douglas, you could see the ginger haired mountain was happy for the small couple, but he was also sad in a way. There was no going back to the Fallen mansion now, and even if he could….Quinn was not there. His only friend in the worlds. He had lost his family long ago, and had no one to call his….or a real home. Some were getting their happy ever afters and others were not. The biggest losers were those that chose to play their worst cards with little regard for the others. Raul…Lydia…both lost.

The giant wiped away a stray tear as he leaned on his battle axe. The maze in behind him was in full bloom and colour. Did it really need a gardener now? Slowly, he made his way out of the maze and continued his search for the hell hound…his only friend.

(TC – Douglas)

Further back, Habib was holding onto the very tired looking Bandit. Her breathing was still shallow and her gasping came hard and sounded dreadful. She needed rest from all that had happened, and the fallen held her very close to him as he started to follow the rest of the party. But it was during that first few steps that he felt not one…but two heartbeats. Strange. A human only has….Habib’s eyes widened at the realization. No…it can’t be. Was Bandit pregnant? He stopped long enough to let the others get well ahead before saying anything.

https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/df/40/64/df4064f7c8a647857c525d3955f684cb.jpg

“I was going to take you away from this realm to a place where you can be healed…..but, it may destroy the life within you.” The fallen knew that if Bandit was indeed pregnant, and if the baby belonged to who he thought it did, that there was no way she could leave hell now. The fallen had to think quickly. The Princess and her family were just getting on with their lives, and now this. If Raul found out, he would bring about such death and destruction to get back Bandit and their child. Habib’s wings burst into life and without looking back, he pushed off from the ground, soaring into the air with Bandit in his arms. He needed to find her a temporary sanctuary from all that could harm her so he could think of what to do next.

Her life…and that of her unborn depended on it.

A High Price to Pay – SS.

The Masquerade ball is over for many, as they flee into the night.  The Princess has bitten off more than she can chew, whilst destruction and chaos rule.

Scene setting : The Masquerade Ball of Greed – Seven Sins series.

Co-written with Zetta, Temp, Moo and Nhal.

Zetta:  Blitz held a firm stance after unleashing his telekinetic force manipulation for a wide arc of chaotic volume despite the otherwise groundbreaking focus required. However, such a blast brought conflict of it’s own, without a boost of life energy he was physically impaired. He could take flight to control his own movement, but his hands and feet were still useless for a moment, this was the reason the half-god would avoid using the technique in the midst of a fight. Despite it’s broad range, if it was still somehow dodged he would be left open to anything, for a bit of time. This weakness usually meant nothing to him since the time it would take for an actual response from an opponent after taking the blast was longer than a few seconds. However he had been attacked by an unknown enemy, who had timed their attack to appear immediately after his own. This person was quickly identified as the one who berated Blitz before, and so he was quickly riled up to be halted by this same prince. His only defense was an aura of aether energy only enough to guard his torso, it was condensed so that it would not explode on contact and instead maintain it’s form, the likes of which dissolved the effort of the shadowy hand from a crushing grapple, to a rough squeeze. While being so close to a form lacking a sturdy material presence, he carefully manipulated the small amount of space between them and impregnated the prince with aether. He could have simply pushed the energy inside with his control over it, but this way the ball could not be removed without a similar control over space.

Brought outside by this hold, he turned his head to the ground quickly approaching after he was dropped at the entrance of the castle. He left the aether used in his defensive measure for a counter-attack, focusing only on the created space now within his target. The second he was released, Blitz activated a violent explosion from within, simulating the way he used his white-hole technique. However something like this was much simpler as he was only controlling pre-existing energy. With his strength regained, he tucked his limbs in and recovered quickly from the fall, his bawled up form smashing into the ground making a loud thud. No apparent damage to the ground itself though. By the time he looked up, his attacker was descending onto the ground just a few feet from him, and had already opened his mouth instead of properly defending himself. This was typical of a person who did not often fight, like nobles. To almost no surprise he found the prince to be speaking nonsense, just like before, only now he had directly launched an offense against Blitz. Even worse, he had done so and taken him out of a probably interesting, as well as entertaining fight. A mistake he would learn from before their ensued fight ended. “Idiot.. What sense was there is getting in my way?”

His look narrowed into complete seriousness for a time before he breathed out and smirked, one fist punching into the open palm of another at a realization. There was present life-energy near him and right on his opponent. His knuckles cloaked his hand like an umbrella. Until now he had been in a succession of spars and had not been able to really cut loose, now with his signature having been so close to Blitz he could track him easily and avenge the fight opportunity he just lost. “… Make a habit of slandering Anarchy Division’s name…” His left-hand bawled into a fist and smacked against the open palm of his right-hand. The divine energy within Blitz’ aether had likely already caused an effect to the demon, not to be easily snuffed out by even an arch-demon’s prowess without even mentioning the other forces in tangent. Aside from the various elemental input, there was also the suddenly expanding space to cause concussive damage as well. “And you’ll regret it..”

He had gained an approval from Princess Gabriel to properly defend the entirety of their area, but before he could take any stance to do so the assailant who had asked him for support was already snatched elsewhere. While keeping his awareness up he noticed the clicking of shoes as someone approached him. Obviously the only one in the same position as the royal guard, his love came upon him without any sort of hostility – seeming to have calmed down from her annoyed and slightly detested response just a few moments ago. Lady Wrath had come to relieve him surprisingly, place her hand upon his outstretched arm, hot from the contact and sizzling to the bone she touched him still. Upon the offering of her malevolent use of wordplay she revealed her disdain for the situation at hand as well as his own misfortunes, and compliment him at the same time. Cecil was happy to have her praise of course and a deeper part of him relished in her saying he had misbehaved, beckoning to mention that she might do something later. She removed the weight on his hand, the royal guard taking deep breaths to endure the pain. “Thank you, my Lady..” He said, bowing gently in a crouched position.

His head turned to the others once he was assured she was acknowledged, thanked, and safe from harm. Now toward the other princess, in the literal exact opposite position, whoever her aides were they were absent while she had been prodding herself with the blade. She foolishly pressed herself against it, seemingly testing the knight who had apparently finished his killings and was now heading for the door. In the middle of her Kingdom, she just wanted him to go now, his head shook in reference to his own leader who had killed a man and all who stood for him because he dared her. That was just one reason why he loved her, and instead of charging into battle in another’s home, she casually retreated and watched the chaos ensue. This one.. She was no demon ruler, but a coward pulling the right strings. Her burning skin warned everyone around to get a move on.. Something, and then the woman bearing pain spoke again. Shouting out to all that the party was over, as if she still had authority. Disregarding that entirely he turned to his own Lady Wrath once more, this was an opportunity, while the other prince was occupied and no one else strong stood for the now burning woman. “I will only move on your order, princess.” He humbly spoke to her.

Nhal:  Stupidity it is then.” Belphegor spoke flatly, his demeanor seeming much sharper and lest tired than it had within the ballroom. Drifting to the side slowly he circled around Blitz, watching him closely as parts of his form began to blow away like mist in the wind. “Naturally you and your little gathering of imbeciles are not welcome to this plane, and sooner or later, whether it is of your own volition or not, you’ll be ejected… Violently if required…” Raising one hand in front of him the Prince of Sloth flexed his fingers in a whirling motion, a small cloud of smoke forming before he waved his hand and the blackness cleared, a long card with the king of hearts stamped across the front was suddenly held between his talons. “However given the current circumstances, I don’t have the time to deal with your childlike pigheadedness.

While more portions of Belphegor began to wisp away portions of grayish-black skin which thinly coated bones began to make themselves visible. In addition his voice became extremely crisp and hollow with certain crackles that made some words hard to distinguish, as if the voice was emanating through an worn old speaker.

As more and more of the almost skeletal figure below began to emerge, the very presence of Belphegor began to fade away, replaced with a feeling that was far more malicious then the prince’s standard aura. The change in this feeling, while extremely great, would go unnoticed by the patrons inside the ballroom, blocked off by the coating of black crystals along the walls. The side of Belphegor’s face which was out of the sight of Blitz was the next to begin steaming and fading away as he shook his head, and while the face beneath could not be seen, long lines of what appeared to be blood soaked cloth hung below his ghostly visage in plain sight.

His voice continued to echo as he circled the demi-god, the card still held firmly between his fingers while his other hand sat lazily behind his back. After a full rotation he stopped in his tracks and began to dangle the playing card in front of him with two fingers, speaking almost as if he was lost in his own world.

Moo;

Kirsikka had made a long, fine cut in the armor while she hummed to herself. Surely nobody would make it quite this easy; she felt too relaxed in a situation she expected to take three times the effort. All she had to worry about at this point was her hand cramping up from using the small blade. Seriously. The demon’s hand turned after a few inches, beginning to cut away once more. Her Lord never justified just what size he needed the sample to be, but a sample was just that. It would be the size of her hand if she could manage it.

Of course, at this time, the armor finally chose to give her an answer to her question earlier. While it had seemed empty previously, some sort of life was given to it now, as its hand swooped up rather quickly to take hold of her hair. Naturally, Kirsikka was surprised. She even hissed in pain as her hair was held rather roughly between its metallic fingers. However, the sight of the red-gold eyes illuminating behind the visor actually brought a grin to her face well after she’d settled again. “They weren’t insane,” she noted in a chipper tone. Kirsikka laughed lightly, frost moving about her. If it embedded itself on the suit, it wouldn’t be capable of moving its arm. The frost would continue forming and spreading along its torso to the other arm as well, as a precaution. If it had no effect, she would simply evaporate into frost herself and clear the podium, standing a few short feet away instead…even though the distance would be problematic in regards for her task at hand. She never once lifted her hand with the small blade from its torso, unless her frost didn’t take effect on the suit. Though the demon’s free hand did now lift to her ear, crushing the earring she’d been accessorized with by her Lord previously. Bits and pieces fell to her shoulder and where she stood. The shaking and crumbling of dust was of no concern yet. The guard stood dazed the entire time, as if nothing were happening. Kirsikka’s hypnotic spell would wear off soon, but it wouldn’t matter if those statues were about to take him apart for her.

Gabriel ignored the thanks she received from Cecil, instead watching the scene between the Templar and Lydia intently. Sickening as it was to watch flesh burn, Gabriel enjoyed the sight rather thoroughly. “Better than my imagination,” she commented to herself while she folded her arm behind her back. Her other still rested on the cane while she gave a bit of a sigh. She half hoped for the Templar to go back on his word, but he had been so determined to leave without further bloodshed that it was very doubtful he would actually attempt to drive his sword through the demon’s chest. And there was no doubt in Gabriel’s mind that Lydia was playing at that as well. The sneaky worm was smart, but weak. The princess smirked while she looked on, Lydia screaming for her guests to leave. Her ambition was lovely; everything nearly went according to whatever plan she’d cooked up. If there was one reason to enjoy the holy being’s presence, it was only that he had wrecked something precious to greed’s new princess.

The fact that Cecil stared at Lydia now, his expression showed the obvious distaste for her. Gabriel turned to face him completely as he did the same for her. His humble statement brought a smirk to her lips before she nodded her head once, her free hand moving to wrap itself over his shoulder. “Very well.” She turned her head to watch if the Templar would do as expected and walk out the door along with the now rushing crowds of demons. “We’ll move slowly. Allow the room to empty.”

Temp:  William was glad to see that the Princess gathered her senses and agreed to back down, though she didn’t say so in such a way. It was clear that the woman was very angry towards him, and understandably so. She was bold to approach him the way she did, and even more bold to let Excalibur touch her flesh willingly. Seeing her flesh burn and bubble due to the literal poison that was his aura, as well as his holy items, was uncomfortable to say the least. This was something he was used too though, as he’d killed many things in his time, including demons. As soon as it was clear that no further aggression was being thrown his way, he sheathed Excalibur and placed Sanctus on his back, then retracted his wings. “Decision…Wise…” He then offered her a slight bow and turned, walking away and eventually through the crowd that separated in order to gain distance from him. He thought about apologizing to the Princess, but he knew that she wouldn’t think anything of it. With his mission accomplished, he left the Kingdom of Greed, now in need of a serious break.

Razorbackwriter:  There was nothing more vile, than the stench of demon flesh burning from the holy aura of Excalibur. It would be enough to make the weakest stomach empty their dinner back up onto the floor. Lydia’s skin was literally melting -cooking. Her fine gown was clinging to her arms, like it was now somehow fused and it was a certainty that she would lose even more skin as she would try to move it at the ball’s end. The party was well and truly over for the Princess. Her fine ballroom was a shambles. A mess of blood, bodies and broken dreams. All of Lydia’s plans for the evening had been thwarted by this…this holy creature before her. She didn’t even understand what he was doing in Hell in the first place. He wasn’t invited that was for sure. There was a look of absolute hatred and revoltion towards William as he withdrew his sword from where he had it pointed. His wings slowly closing in behind him. He was backing down, or rather decided to spare her life. She was of course testing him to see if he was true to his word. A gamble you could say. She was the Demon of Ambition after all, and one that often acted if the opportunity to survive was possible. But there was a price to pay for this action, and that was the horrid scarring that was going to be a reminder of what this man had done.

“Decision…Wise…”

“Hardly.” The word was laced with a sinister edge. You could see that she was practically livid. Her body trembling, not from pain but from rage. Lydia’s teeth were gritted as she held back on screaming foul obscentites at the Templar as he took his leave. If Scar had been in the room, he would have questioned why the Princess let this man go. Make no mistake, she had her reasons. The fight was over….for now.

Turning on the remaining crowd, that would include Gabriel and her boy toy, Lydia’s partially melted face would be a gruesome sight. Such beauty now tainted. The right side of her mouth dragged down as though hit by acid. Her head wobbled slightly, as she appeared to have trouble standing. The holy aura had more or less crippled her.

“I shall be turning in. You may find your own way out.” The time for social niceties was over. Gripping the edge of her skirt, she shuffled past the Princess of Wrath and started her way slowly up the spiral stair case. It was a pathetic sight, but one that may well have Gabriel laughing for days. The humiliation of Lydia to be the talk of Hell for a very long time. She stopped only at the top most step, to cast a look down at the carnage. ~Such a waste~ Defeated, she dissappeared from view.

Beserker looked down at where his armor was starting to frost up. He even tilted his head at such magics, but then a low and gruesome laugh came from beneath his mouth grill.

“OOahee seeweay-fen eay-peae peoh-fe z-seeah-ha seewae deeaynaez ah-bae teae, peweay-de-kuk?”

(translation : “You think ice can stop the likes of me, child?”)

The voice almost sounded as though it came from far away, like an echo through a deep dark tunnel. The armor crackled and then started to turn a dark shade of red, but illuminated by a surge of heat, like hell itself. Did the girl not realize that this suit was indeed enchanted, forged in the pits of the damned. If the girl retreated to a safer place using her unique powers, then the game was about to be turned on its head.

Last Warning – SS.

The party had now broken down into a series of fights.  Royals against the Anarchy Division & The Princess of Greed taking on William the Templar, while a thief has snuck into the underground Blacksmith shop, to try and steal Beserker.  The Ball is nothing more than a showdown of Holy versus the Evil of Hell.

Scene setting :  The Masquerade Ball of Greed.  Seven Sins Series.

Co-written with Zetta, Moo, Temp and Nhal.

Zetta:  The space around Blitz began to visibly move, as if he was cloaked with a clear, thick barrier. This was the manipulation of torrential energy that would allow for instantaneous movement. With the charge set he was already proposed to make a move by the time the knightly demon slayer had dispatched of the princess’ little projectile, but he needed to assure of a few things before stepping in. She seemed determined to put him down obviously for ruining her gathering, the man would have casually left this situation to it’s own natural happenings but he had already taken interest in the killer. His option to walk had left the moment that of a half-god looked upon him, he briefly considered that his target would know full on what he was. Having already distinguished himself as a very capable assassin he was positive that he had some sort of decoy, unless he really was just that strong to turn his back on demons and confidently walk out after revealing himself. For this; He turned to the two still behind him just a few feet away, hearing their voices. One man standing straight before another, he had a firm stance but lacked any sort of special power beyond his own dna. The apparent guard had black hair and his face was flushed in all red, obviously blushing. The one being guarded was stronger, him being a true demon, and at this high of a place he was positive he had just witnessed a third prince.

He barely noticed them before from how close they were.. Maybe they were homosexuals, it didn’t matter much though, in this time he noticed a group of hands scaling to the ceiling of this place. ‘Twas an odd sight, but not really unusual for someone like him and so he spoke casually to the black-haired male guarding the white-haired male. “Please, I might not be able to hold back if I get excited. If that happens make sure this area at least stays in tact.” He said so with a light grin, bearing his teeth to reveal his growing angst because he was about to get locked into a real party. But the man had no time to wait for a response from the skeptical tuxedo wearing guard. So by the ending of his sentence, his entire form was gone. Pushing aside space and time to instantly transport himself to a few inches in front of the assassin. Arms folded, eyes shut still. Without making a single motion, he mentally amassed a force of hundreds of thousands of molecules for a gigantic wave bearing telekinetic strength matching that of five metric tons. He aimed this force at the entire upper body of the man in iron-clad before him, doing so as to not also send the weakened demons sprawling across the room as well in this simplistic but powerful attack while simultaneously knocking away the falling chandelier. If this ended well, he could simply take that as payment, he figured. However it would be sent flying as well, in the direction of the man he spoke to moments ago, who would listen to him this time to protect the other guy at the very least.

This type of attack would also serve to potentially disarm his target, a force capable of knocking Blitz himself off of his feet could certainly make it harder to hold onto the sword and shield or even diminish his fighting capability using his fingers to withstand all of the force from the resonating metal. Despite it’s given tactical advantage being that the user did not have to waste any effort on a wide-scale move, it did mentally strain him and so he could not afford a physical attack at the same time. It gave a defender a short time to respond, when coupled with Blitz’ teleportation, but could still be heard before the instant he attacked at a very low pitch sound as he literally propelled matter itself. Also seen as the moving matter would quickly push the air forward as well, adopting a scene of violent turbulence by the time it would make it to the assassin. If successful the force would send him to the feet of the Princess of Greed, likely putting her in a weakened position if Excalibur was near.

Cecil heeded every word spoken from Gabriel, as he had his back turned despite bearing such a flustered grill. His face was lit was intense nervousness, and to his surprise she chose no path of offense against him just yet. The royal guard’s heart beat rose slightly still, in light anticipation of such an act when they returned back home. He was thrown off from his concentration when the one with pink-hair began speaking to him, originally Cecil was only concerned with keeping Gabriel safe, but in this way he would also be able to utilize his skills to serve her even indirectly. To that he gave the other man a nod, signifying his understanding of his request and the situation then similarly agreeing to help him, only to properly service his love. But he would not act without Her actual consent however. “Is it okay for me to take the place where that princess introduced herself?” He asked to confirm whether or not he’d actually listen to that other guy. Doing so timidly since Lady Gabriel seemed frustrated already, and he understood her, while not being a full demon himself – to the point that he felt hatred towards holiness he did become a sort of evil soul with his time spent here and so had a sort of disdain towards anything outside of the new norm for himself. For the sake of maintenance he had removed his hands from practically tied behind his back to being set firm on either side of his body. Now he was ready for any defensive measure necessary.

It was not long after that when the chandelier in the middle of the room fell down, then was quickly launched at the two of them. The rate it was going it would have become a socket in the wall above them and likely through the building itself, projected with such force that if it hit someone it would likely turn them into a mangled corpse. The blunt tips of each light would burn against the skin before scraping off bone marrow and finally smashing them into the ground. Cecil moved instinctively.. The thing was too close to the two of them, he created webbing between his fingers and extended only his hard out to catch the flying object before it hit anything, enlarging the shape of it as well to keep the surrounding scenery unharmed. His augmented strength served him well, halting all momentum from his catch like a professional baseball player. Though from the force alone the back of his hand still fell limp afterwards, but the burning sensation of such a fast moving big object was mostly resisted, only a searing path now coursing through that entire limb.

Nhal:  Belphegor’s clawed hand clenched in irritation as his attention went from the man floating above the floor to the large chandelier which was now flying across the room. His body quickly began to melt away into a dark purple wisp which would bolt next to Lydia and whisper noises towards her. “Excuse me for cutting in… But I’m going to be dealing with this meddler.” flying from her side the wisp suddenly exploded into a black cloud which moved in Blitz’s direction as it formed a clawed hand, slamming into him and wrapping its fingers around him rapidly. As it continued on its trajectory, the black crystal coating the wall which blocked its path cracked and split open, allowing the black hand and its unwilling passenger to be sent crashing through a closed window and into the palace courtyard. As soon as the hand was free, the crystal wall closed sealed itself, preventing any further entrance or exit from the grand hall.

As the hand sailed over the courtyard, it adjusted slightly, dropping Blitz towards the ground before molting away and swirling down, reforming into the ghostly form of Belphegor a couple of yards away from him. “Don’t you know that its rude for someone to interfere with the battles of a demon prince?… Especially a child such as yourself.” Tucking his hands behind his back he cocked his head to the side slightly. “Or could it be you were simply guarding an accomplice? Well, Anarchy Division? Which is it, a poorly made business opportunity? Or just sheer stupidity?” He rolled his fingers behind his back as he drifted to the side slowly, observing the half god with great detail.

Moo:  No response from the Berserker armor. Kirsikka frowned while she tilted her head, looking it over. Perhaps taking the entire armor would allow her to test it a bit more…not to mention impress her Lord. Her eyes scanned the room once more before she stepped onto the platform, breast to breast with the armor in the small space left for her to stand. Carve away a sample before attempting to take the entire suit. That sounded best in regards of actually accomplishing her goal. If something were to happen, she couldn’t leave empty handed. The item she had been dawdling with in the ballroom poked from between her fingers, the silver reflecting dully thanks to the musty room’s lack of light. Kirsikka pressed it to the shoulder of the armor and applied force until it began cutting into the metal. Her guard seemed to just stare off into space, standing idle in front of one of the twelve statues lining the walls for the meantime, as she had no orders for him.

Gabriel had been so taken with annoyance and hatred that she barely regarded Cecil and Blitz as they spoke. With his question, her head turned after a moment of hesitation. It became obvious rather quickly something was bound to happen while the pink haired man teleported between the Templar and Lydia, underneath the chandelier that would obviously crash down before long. “Yes, do as you see fit,” she answered quite quickly. She herself moved to a safer place, out of the way where Cecil stood for the time being. As it was, the pink haired man most likely had ideas of his own…and for him to share specifically with Cecil any spot of information, it meant trouble may as well have been headed their way. Even if she hadn’t bothered to listen to them previously.

Despite the princess’ dangerous mixture of emotions, she stayed put. It would have been more entertaining, had it not been a holy being to cause the trouble. The situation was more chaotic the longer Lydia let it drag on. Sloth was much faster to react to the situation at hand, and obviously felt irritated as Gabriel did. The two were soon out of the room in a rush, leaving the rest of them in some weird silence. Gabriel looked over to Cecil as he held onto the massive chandelier, relaxing her tensed stance before approaching him. She rested her hand over his, which was warm to the touch. Hot, actually. “Your body can be used so creatively.” She pushed on the chandelier away from him until it crashed to the floor. “…As much as you’ve misbehaved this evening…you have done a decent job here.”

Astarte somewhat smiled while she noticed Blitz charging up for his battle. It was obvious the demigod was geared up for a fight, even after having had that spar earlier in the day. His healing was impressive enough that he was already battle-ready once again. Already, she was moving through the crowd…and much more easily now that everyone had stopped dancing, all eyes on the holy man and other more powerful demons crowding to the area. It wasn’t surprising that the closer she got, the more strain she felt on her muscles. Those in the front were already kneeling, their bodies practically pressed into the ground from the power of the Excalibur and other notable items the man was bearing. But this was something similar to being in Elysium for Astarte herself; she had withstood it nicely enough to still spar with Blitz. And he himself would be fine facing the holy man due to his being a demigod. There was no worry or doubt in the hellcat’s mind as she watched the chandelier fall and suddenly bolt in a different direction, only to be caught by a demon who seemed to be close to one of the new princes.

While that in itself was impressive, her eyes hadn’t strayed for long, before the prince of Sloth was throwing himself in Blitz’ direction. The two wound up being brought through the door way too quickly for her to react physically. Astarte would be sealed inside the ball room with the rest of the guests, waiting for Blitz to return to her side. So he would have to fight without her to cheer him on visibly, but if he knew her well enough, he would know that she had faith he would be completely fine on his own, like always…

Temp:  William knew that there were more than just demons among the crowd, but he really didn’t expect non-demons to be hostile towards him. This assumption was indeed a mistake on his part. Both the Princess of Greed and an unknown being had decided to attack after he made short work of the first attack. At first there was the chandelier that was dropping towards him. This wasn’t something he was very worried about though. He knew that Sanctus would protect him from the object, as well as the fact Excalibur would cut through it like paper. Before there was even time to react to the chandelier, the unknown being appeared before him and shot forth a tremendous amount of force. William was no ordinary being, but even that fact meant little to this amount of force. Thankfully, William was not alone in his quest for revenge. The Armor of Grant would prove more than sufficient, especially when combined with Sanctus. William pulled Sanctus up and blocked to force from making contact with his upper body, while the rest of his body was protected solely by Grant. The force was still far too powerful for William to be completely unaffected by though, and as such he was pushed backwards. Once the force had passed he stumbled backwards, and then rolled back even further and away from the Princess of Greed. Once he was back up on his feet he turned his attention back towards the Princess, who was obviously still very angry with him. In order to make it perfectly clear that this wasn’t a fight she should be picking, he extended his Angelic wings, which would also reveal his aura. This obviously would show that not only was he some sort of assassin clad in holy items, but that he was also of Angelic origins. Once his wings were out completely, he pointed Excalibur directly at the Princess. “Last…Warning…” If she continued this, then she would lose much more than she likely thought she would by letting him go.

Razorbackwriter:  Beserker stood completely still. Just as you would expect a suit of armor to do. Kirsikka had no power in the Kingdom of Greed, nor did she know the secret to unlocking the evil that dwell within the metal plates. All around her the stone statues stood in readiness but for what? What Kirsikka was not aware of, was that the podium on which Beserker stood was pressure plated. In other words, the moment the weight changed on the dias – it would bring Beserker and the stone statues to life. Course, it would not happen instantly. That was the beauty of it. No, let the fool who dare tamper with the suit of armour learn the hard way. So, while she was pressed chest to chest with the armor and applied force to start and cut away a piece for a souvenir, the eyes behind the visor illuminated into a sickening shade of gold and red. The fingers on the gauntlet flexed and then with the speed that was completely unnatural, it tore out and gripped Kirsikka by the hair, pulling her head back so she would have no choice but to look up and into those fiery eyes. Each of the statues stood to attention with a loud cracking sound that resonated throughout the blacksmith shop. Dust falling away from their shoulders as their heads all turned towards the Beserker armor and it’s captive.

She could try screaming for help…..but who would hear her over the ruckus coming from above.

Lydia stood in what was the wreckage of her beautiful ball room. Guests all scattered, royals all holding back for fear of the angelic being who now stood opposite Lydia, his sword Excalibur pointed at her in one final show down. A last warning, spoken in that broken language. The smell of death wafted up towards Lydia’s nostrils as she looked at Belphegor, Gabriel, Cecil, and then Blitz – the one from Anarchy division who had also gotten in the way of the Princess’s assault against William. The silence now would be broken by the sound of Lydia’s heels as she walked over the broken remnants of the chandelier – another casualty of the ball. Though the sight of the angelic wings now unfurled and proud was enough to have others quake in fear, Lydia put on the performance of her life. Bathed in the holy aura, which caused her skin to prickle, blister and peel, she summoned all her courage to stare the angelic being down.

The Princess of Greed had finally gotten to see the true natures of the attending Princes of Hell and she came to realize one very important fact. None…acted true to their name sake. Not even Gabriel. Princess of Wrath….bullshit. She…he…didn’t even enter the fight, and her simpering man servant appeared to do all the work.

Lydia lifted her chin proudly, the sword’s tip glistening as it was primed to be pushed through her chest if the angelic being dared. Gritting her teeth in a bid to starve off the pain that she was experiencing, she uttered in a very menacing growl.

“The party is over….for you. Get out.”

Violent jade green eyes burrowed into William’s. If he was true to his word, he would lower his sword and turn to leave. If not….Lydia would pay the ultimate price.

“ALL OF YOU. GET OUT!”

The Princess’s raised voice would ring throughout the hall. Her silhouette now changing in it’s colour as her skin continued to burn.

Ballroom Blitz – SS.

Following on from “The Unveiling”, the Masquerade ball is not going exactly as the Princess of Greed had planned.  Those that danced the night away risked death.

Scene setting:  The Masquerade Ball of Greed.

Co-written with Temp, Zetta, Moo, and  Nhal.

Zetta:  His head nodded once, but fiercely, just like the look on the man’s face when he was told directly that his princess wanted him around. “I won’t let anyone near you, Princess.” He shortened his eyelids so that his actual iris can peer out of his head, and expand his peripherals far more than it had been. Like so the guard would be able to do better in an effort to keep his word. After all she was powerful in her own right having gone face to face against a dragon, and yet this strong woman wanted her guard to stand by her. Instead of using his abilities to quell all the violence. This only could mean that she had personally desired his presence, the thought would normally make him anything but excited. However in such a setting as this he needed to remain alert, and on her order, alert to everyone around them. A task made difficult when the other princess had gone to her own guard and seemed to be ordering a clean sweep of the people in the crowd; It would be impossible to find a dangerous individual in the midst of a crowd. He simultaneously felt that it was a necessary tactic to save face in front of the other nobles, easily getting control over a bustling group of people was a feat of it’s own and should stop the pointless fighting.. Cecil was done surveying the situation, he glanced once more at the amassed violence.

The royal guard turned back to Gabriel. “We may be safe from the fight mob, but is it really okay to just stand here?” He asked, to the one he saw as unknowing. Although hardly ever aware of her plans, he surely trusted them. His love was smiling, perhaps there was a more to it than idle joy.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________

When the party suddenly turned violent, Blitz started to ignore his heightened senses, actively tuning them all down except for his sight. While doing this he was simultaneously searching for the two he walked in with, though more specifically the red-haired neko. As an individual she was very capable of defending herself, but against subtle aggression like this she would not even be aware of an offense against her until it was already too late.. This slight worry was canceled when he had finally met eyes with his lover, she was likely searching for him as well, easily identified by his hair and power usage. While he recognized her for he two-toned hair color. Now that he knew she was not drawn into the fighting he focused on his original task. Using the commotion as a fair guise to avoid awed party-goers, with effortless aerial precision the weightless half-god made it to the ceiling and perched himself onto the chandelier. He was mostly unconcerned with the chaos happening, were it not for Astarte his eyes would never even had diverted from his goal..

For the sake of not damaging anyone below him he maintained usage of his flying power to be weightless. He had been thinking to simply shout out Anarchy Division but now that the guards of Greed’s kingdom had mixed into the crowd as well it became an opportunity to prove himself more capable than them at stopping a large quarrel. Now he could enjoy a fight after all. The moment this thought crossed his mind however he heard the beat of a drum, then the voice of a rather important looking woman. She gave orders as if she was the one running the show.. That must be the head honcho in this Kingdom, and so it was actually he guards currently at work. Her issued word was that everyone remove their masks, that worked for him some, so just as it was asked. The man clipped the lower half of his mask between two fingers and flung it away. Before getting a full inch out of his vicinity though the mask disappeared completely, taken into his own realm for any possible future use. He hadn’t anticipated the princess would get involved directly after what happened, there was no means of drawing eyes to him with her presence established now, unless it was from her that Anarchy Division was recognized. So. He made his way to her, moving casually along the air as a bird would over everyone, mostly out of sight. She stood by a guard, but he hoped he wouldn’t have to waste any words on that one..

The man confidently extended a hand towards the now unmasked woman, grinning as he did so. “A fight breaks out in the middle of a friendly gathering. How shabby!” He was aiming to be provoking, the quickest way to get attention, albeit badly. “Your guys are incompetent. Why not hire my co-worker and I to find the one that started this?”

Nhal:  Belphegor, lacking a mask of any kind in his current form, tucked his arms behind his back and shook his head slowly. “What a sad display…” His head turned lazily towards Blitz as he moved throughout the room. “Your offering a payed service for that which is the equivalent of playing checkers with a toddler…” He shifted himself towards Lydia. “I shall perform a much more efficient service free of charge, consider it a gift for the celebration of your new reign… After all, simply having your guests remove their masks will not help you find a stranger in the crowd, you do not know each of your guests that personally…” He drifted forwards with a light chuckle. “Besides, solving such a childish puzzle will be at least somewhat interesting for me in comparison to such a dull event.” Moving to the center of the room, Belphegor spun around for a few moments before his sight drifted back to Blitz. “Watch and learn how to do a job properly, It will be of use in your future, i’m sure.

He raised his hand and a small orb of light drifted towards the Ceiling of the room, as it reached the top, the room immediately became devoured by darkness that not even the keenest of eyes could peer through. “First of all, we prevent escape…” As his sentence ended a sound of grinding and shattering glass echoed throughout the large hall and the room began to lighten up slightly, just enough to see. The doors, windows, and all other forms of entrance or exit became blockaded by a dark black crystal which prevented much of the light from outside from entering the room, and as well it seemed to absorb the light which already remained in the room, seemingly extinguishing it. “I would keep away from those If I were you… They tend to be rather voracious at the best of times.” He gave a soft nod and clapped his hands together, a small light illuminating the room with a dark purple hue. “Now, Shall we solve this little puzzle, Princess of Greed?…

Moo:  Kirsikka hadn’t been following the guard long before they wound up at the blacksmith’s shop. It was filled to the teeth with weapons and armor like any person would imagine. But she didn’t recognize any as the armor in the dreams of the wrath and greed soldiers. Her body solidified from the frost, taking up her usual shape, minus the annoying skirt of the ball gown she’d been wearing. Her mask remained for her own good… “Well, where did they put it?” Her hands moved to her hips, fingers thrumming against the cold fabric of her shortened dress. She turned her head to the guard. “Where’s the Berserk armor?” He was standing guard by the staircase for a reason…let it not be only to guard the merchandise within this room. Kirsikka watched him nod his head once, turning a little slowly to face a door she hadn’t caught before. Well, easy enough…She would move that way. And hopefully Belphegor was keeping himself entertained in the room above.

Gabriel couldn’t have been any more pleased with the events unfolding before her. This entire setup was going to ruin within the first hour of the ball, and it left Lydia looking like an imbecile. She was rushing her guards up from the floor; a completely hilarious situation where they couldn’t manage to stand without catching armor on one another and simply toppling over again. She grinned, moving her hand over her lips in order to keep her snickering to herself with Lydia’s screaming and hollering. Belphegor had remained rather calm and quiet the entire time, but that was boring. Gabriel couldn’t hold herself quite so high.

Cecil was of course on the look out, taking his job as seriously as she’d anticipated. Though as Lydia ordered the masks to be removed, he was more intent on questioning Gabriel about her decision. She moved her hand, sliding his mask from his face before she did the same with her own. “You’re really going to question me?” Her eyes roamed over his face, in which she guessed he might lower his eyes as he normally did. She tutted, offering him his mask. “If someone dared near me…” Well… “They would be made an example. Nobody dares confront me. Not wrath.” Her tone had taken up a hint of hostility, but it was normal. Well, the new normal. Her eyes slid from his while Belphegor moved past and began talking. Some pink haired idiot neared Lydia casually by walking down through the air. If that wasn’t enough to be seen as suspicious, she didn’t know what was. Of course a killer wouldn’t outright make himself known, unless he was as insane as she was. “Hire…” she muttered to herself with the softest of scoffs. The princess of greed wouldn’t waste her time. Either way, it didn’t matter to Sloth while he moved himself toward the center of the room and sent some peculiar object to the ceiling. This was boring… Let Lydia solve it on her own, she would surely find the perpetrator by checking the list. After a couple dozen or so died within the room. The grin split back across Gabriel’s face then.

Astarte had calmed for the most part when she’d made eye contact with Blitz. And while normally she didn’t question what he was doing, as it was usually the best…she understood that he could be compulsive. And now was not the time to be that much. “What are you doing, Blitz?..” she mumbled to herself while she watched him idle on the chandelier. The hellcat moved herself a little closer, but pressing through a crowd to reach him was going to be annoying. She watched as he walked down through the air toward the hostess of the event as she removed her mask, letting it fall to the floor as she didn’t need it any longer. She stared after him while the place where he landed was higher than the ballroom’s dance floor. With the room becoming quiet in regards to being ordered to remove their masks, it was easy to hear her lover’s voice. The word that caught her was incompetent. Was he really going to provoke the princess during a time like this? And even more than that…he was regarding to her as his co-worker…offering that she would help him in the search of this killer. She palmed her face, shaking her head slightly, but paused before looking up again. While it was good to have attention on Anarchy Division, it was debatable this was the way to go about it. But surely, either way…if they caught the killer, it would be impressive or helpful to those in this room. Thus doing their job in a more hands-on way. So it wasn’t all bad, until someone–a prince of all people–would point out there was no need to hire anyone. “Shoulda said for free…” she muttered, ears lowering slightly.

Temp:  William had been rather successful in killing his targets while remaining undetected. In fact, there was only one more target left on his list that was attending this party. The man was one of the key demons that brought down the Templar Order, and he would not escape William’s wrath. Unfortunately, it seemed that things were about to change for the worse. Everyone was ordered to remove their masks, and there was a demonic prince assisting in ‘illuminating’ the area due to the situation. There was no time left to hide in the shadows if he wished to kill his final target. While the crowd started removing their masks, William removed something else entirely. A large blade would be seen protruding from a demons face, seemingly piercing him from the back of his skull. What William had removed was Excalibur, which he had then immediately used to kill his final target. As soon as the man was dead and the crowd all turned to look at the scene, William pulled the sword free by flinging the weapon to the side, causing the skull to split open and the body to fling to the side. It was then that William removed the entirety of his outfit, which was the full face mask, cloak, and amulet. Once these items were removed, any and all demons near him would surely feel sick and weak. William was fully armed and wearing his holy armor, Grant. Sanctus, his shield, was then pulled from his back and into his other hand, with Excalibur in the other. “Targets Eliminated…Departure…Imminent.” Darkness wouldn’t hold someone like him in bondage within this place, so the blocked exits really meant nothing to him. Evil like that would be nothing but tissue paper to Excalibur. William had no intention of staying within this building now that his job was done. None of the remaining demons were beings he wished to eliminate, but he would do so should they decided to go on the offensive.

Razorbackwriter:  At last, the roadster made it into the gravel drive of the Greed castle estate. Up ahead, the Doctor could see the many carriages and other vehicles that lined the road. It was a large turn out and the Hell’s Kitchen crew were running terribly late. Slowing the car down, the Doctor managed to see a spot that was big enough for his vehicle, and drove it into the space. The Doctor was not really the type of chap that liked making an entrance, but under the circumstances he and his party had little choice. Switching off the engine, the Doctor chortled.

“Better late than never!” His voice full of optimism and pride as he winked at Narcissa. She had scrubbed up real well and was sure to have a few of the Princes of Hell asking for a spot on her dance card.

All the car doors opened simultaneously, and each stepped out into the cool night air, but not before the crew heard the sound of shrieking and yelling came from within the Castle doors. The Doctor paused for a moment, wondering what on earth was causing all the fuss. He glanced back at Loc and Roxanne, who was the creature’s date and exclaimed. “Must be one hell of a buffet!” Little did he know what was really going on.

Escorting Narcissa up the marble stairs, the Doctor glanced up to see the sudden appearance of black crystal on the doorway and windows, which completely blocked all light and noise from escaping from within. For some reason, those within didn’t want any more guests…..or anyone leaving.

The Doctor rubbed his cheek in disbelief. This was most unusual and he stared down at the invitation that he had been sent. “Yes, it was definitely tonight. How odd.”

Wilhelm turned to his little crew and shrugged his shoulders lightly.

“Anyone up for pizza?”

The Princess of Greed stared at the outstretched hand that was offered by Blitz, along with a rather cutting comment about how the whole affair was now a shabby mess. Oh, you could see the delightful tell tale rise of veins appearing on the Princess’s neck, to have this man….and the gall of him saying such terrible things about her first ever ball.

“A fight breaks out in the middle of a friendly gathering. How shabby!”

“Hmmph!” The Princess was not amused. She looked down her nose at Blitz and said in a droll tone “And you are?’Lydia had no clue whatsoever who this chap was, but he had already managed to get on her bad side.

“Your guys are incompetent.”

This brought a roll of the eyes from Lydia, as another six guards fell over in a heap. “Tell me something I don’t know!” Oh the Princess’s bark was worse than her bite. The clincher was of course when Blitz suggested she hire some of his people from Anarchy division. With a swelling of her bosom, Lydia placed her curled fists squarely upon her svelte hips and snorted. “Pay? Pay? This ball has cost me enough already, without having to PAY for extra muscle.” The word muscle emphasized with the very pronounce wiggle of her head. Blitz may have bitten off more than he could chew, but as luck would have it, the Prince; Belphegor happened to put in his two cents – and Lydia for once was impressed.

“I shall perform a much more efficient service free of charge, consider it a gift for the celebration of your new reign… After all, simply having your guests remove their masks will not help you find a stranger in the crowd, you do not know each of your guests that personally…”

Lydia turned and the look on her face was one of admiration and respect.

“My dear Prince. You are indeed a true man of valor. Let’s do this.”

Stepping back, she folded her arms; tapping her mask against her side as she watched the Prince prepare his magic, to seal all of the exits and illuminate the room with a light purple glow. Lydia smirked with glee. Oh, now they get to see just who the culprit for all this drama was. In the back of her mind however, she knew she had other matters to attend too, but for now, it was solving the puzzle.

As luck would have it, the one that HAD been at the center of everything that had gone wrong that evening decided to reveal his true self in front of all the distinguished royals of Hell. The peeling back of the outfit came to show a warrior that was wearing of all things….Holy armor. Lydia gasped at the sight of Excalibur being wielded, along with a holy shield. The light that came from both was almost blinding. The man or….holy being had just killed yet another face in the crowd, and the blood from his kill spurted all over the floor and a nearby rug.

“BASTARD!” Lydia hissed violently, as she grabbed at the edges of her skirt and started to march towards the intruder.“How dare you ruin my ball?!” Her hands began to glow an eerie shade of green as her horns started to emerge out of the top of her head. If it was a battle he wanted, he was going to get it. All the exits were sealed, and there would be no way out. Lydia hurtled a green fire ball towards the man’s right hand to get him to drop the sword.

Curses and charms – SS.

Scene setting : The Masquerade Ball of Greed.

Co-written with Krystal, Zetta, Temp, Moo, Perv, Dessy and Nhal.

Krystal:  Maya managed to sneak herself and Allister in via a baker’s van as it was bringing new supplies into the castle. As the driver got out, they made their escape, ducking into the open loading bay doors. They were lucky enough not to be seen, and they made it into a quiet hallway on the third level of the castle.

Music could be heard resonating around the castle walls. It was very loud, and Allister was giddy with anticipation. “This is going to be exciting…! C’mon, lets go find some fancy clothes in one of the rooms!” Allister grabbed Maya’s hand as they began sprinting down the hallway.

Maya’s hood flew off as he dragged her with him. “Hey, slow down…!” she hissed, trying to stay quiet. They found a room and ducked into it, closing the door behind them.“Perfect. Now lets hope there are some nice things in here…” Maya went to a wardrobe and began digging. She pulled out a black tuxedo and tossed it to Allister. “Try this on,” she said, hardly even glancing at it on the hanger.

Allister caught it before it whacked him in the face, and eyed it up. It was laced with some nice silver fabric, complete with a frilly under-shirt, a choker, and a vest. The pants were simply black dress pants accompanied with shiny black shoes. Allister nodded approvingly before going to another side of the room to try it on. “Keep your back turned, don’t peek~” he teased as he pulled off his shirt.

Maya scoffed, mostly ignoring him. She abandoned the wardrobe and headed toward the opposite side of the room of Allister, opening up a closet. She gasped quietly, and stepped inside, closing the door behind her with a soft ‘click’ of the door’s jamb.

Allister heard it, and as he finished putting himself together, he turned around, finding Maya gone from the room. “Maya?”he called, heading toward the closet.

“I’m in here, just hang on,” she said, sounding a little troubled. Something about a god damned zipper and her hair could be heard as mumbles on the inside.

After a few long moments, the door opened, and out of the darkness of the closet, Maya stepped out wearing a red silk dress complete with black frills and black jewelled patterns. She also held a mask in her hand that perfectly matched the outfit. The servants of the castle sure did have classy clothing. She stepped into the room and did a small twirl. Her hair was down and against her back, curling elegantly along her pale skin. “How… do I look?” Maya asked Allister, her blue eyes shining through the mask she wore over her face.

Allister’s eyes widened from behind his own mask, and he opened it to say something, but it just closed again. After a pause, he cleared his throat and held out his arm, a smile spreading across his lips. He’d never seen her look so… astonishing. “You look gorgeous, Maya. Lets get going so we don’t miss the fun.”

Maya took his arm, a slight blush forming on her face. “Thank you, Allister. You’re too kind.” With that, they made their way down to the main area to join in the fun. They made their way down the stairs and joined in with all the other masquerade folk, blending in quite nicely. Tonight would definitely be an interesting one.

Temp:  So far everything had been going rather smoothly as far as the party went. William’s infiltration was flawless and his mingling was working out fairly well, despite his issues with talking. Keeping things short and avoiding contact with others was proving to be very successful. There were more and more people showing up, some of which were fairly powerful. Regardless, he was a being that they were all weak against, and that’s not counting his arsenal. His targets were all around him and doing various things, but almost all of them were in perfect view of others. The first kill he was going to carry out would have to be as subtle as possible. As he made his way through the room he quickly took notice of Maya and Allister, something that immediately worried him. There was no way they could recognize him in his disguise, but seeing them in such a dangerous place was troubling. Even though they were here, he would carry out his mission. His first kill would be a rather low end noble who was on his list, and luckily was in a crowd of people. With a series of poisoned needles in hand, all he had to do was bump into someone and stick them with one, the rest would follow shortly after. This was exactly what he did, as he approached the noble he ‘accidentally’ nudged him with his shoulder, immediately apologizing afterwards. The room was busy and full of people, so accidents like this were to be expected. What wasn’t expected was said person dying shortly after. Since the noble had been surrounded by people, figuring out who might have had a hand in his death would be fairly difficult, if anyone even cared that is. The man wouldn’t die right away though, and instead would likely just show signs of fatigue before succumbing to the poison completely. The man was as good as dead. One down…how many more to go?

Dessy:  “Why do you sound so jealous, Scar?” Mariela asked jokingly, turning her head to watch Lydia walk down with the raven who turned into a male. Scar sounded like he was jealous, but with Scar, it was no telling, really. “She made an entrance, that’s for sure.” she said, watching Lydia walk down the stairs. Mariela looked at Scar when he spoke about “something being bound to happen”, then made the comment about people asking her to dance, and she gave a shrug. “I highly doubt that, Scar. But, thanks.” she said, giving a light smile. She’ll admit, Scar had a way with words when it came to charming women. Scar was also not as bad as Mariela originally thought he was going to be.

Nhal:

https://i1.wp.com/i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag36/nhaluss/Mobile%20Uploads/291bb991-7b3d-4d10-b362-30f1b712eaf2_zps17df3aed.jpg

There is no need to be so formal child…” His center eye began to glow again lightly as he gazed in her direction, observing her outfit. “An interesting choice to say the least..” He turned his long neck and looked around the large room slowly. “I am yet to find our lady of the hour… Do you suppose you could point out our new Greed if you spotted her?…” He spoke softly before releasing a shallow yawn, lifting a hand lightly to scratch at his shoulder. The smog that was his lower body whisped around slowly, blowing around and twisting, fading like smoke.

Moo:  Kirsikka’s gaze turned until landing on Sloth once more. A brow began to perk, but she quickly normalized her expression again. “Interesting? I planned it carefully to impress you, my Lord.” Perhaps rather daring of her to say. Though, if she were trying to impress Belphegor, it was likely she needed something more dark in nature. Being in white now, she looked like a frost princess. Almost as if she didn’t belong in Hell at all. More like she was an angel forced to stay here; until one came to know her personality.

At the mention of the lady of the hour, Kirsikka’s gaze turned up toward the top of the stairs, where a woman happened to come into view. Talk about perfect timing. “I think she’s just made her entrance,” the female replied with a bit of a smirk. “What a lovely woman… Don’t you think?” Her head turned once more to smile at her Lord, awaiting his response. Knowing what she looked like at least made this easier. Now she could keep track of where the woman moved while they went through their own motions, as planned before the party.

[Short post is short. slkjf]

So, the one and only princess of greed had finally arrived. Gabriel gazed at the beauty from her position on the floor, a broad smile placed over her lips. “I would expect nothing less,” she commented with a chuckle. A black raven swooped in and perched itself near her, and morphed into that of a handsome man, Gabriel couldn’t withhold a scoff. Skip the pleasantries; she wanted to meet this woman and come to know the new head of greed. It seemed the woman was already enjoying herself, with a bounce to her step, eyes roaming the room. Now, who could she be looking for? Gabriel began moving once again, tapping Cecil’s arm to notify him instead of simply dragging him along. “Shall we?”

The change in expression on the princess’ face while her eyes landed on Gabriel was a bit of a treat. Mostly because Gabriel could laugh with the woman over the subject of her little involuntary sex change. “Try to act a little normal?” She turned her head to look at Cecil, casually stepping between guests and avoiding small groups of demons. “If you impress me, you might come to enjoy the after party.” A joke, mostly, depending on Gabriel’s mood when this party was over. If things went over smoothly, she would have her feminine body back once more. Due to Mammon’s apparent hobby in curses, she assumed he had books on such subjects…and if that was in fact the case, perhaps with the new princess’ kindness, everything could return to normal. Her main priority in coming to this party, otherwise the woman might not have chosen to come at all. She had just been to war with greed, after all. Whether or not this new throne holder recognized Mammon’s delusions and stupidity mattered very little.

Eventually in reaching the princess, Gabriel gave a deep bow. Definitely out of character. “Well, how do you do,” she greeted with a devilishly handsome smile. Tilting her head back to gaze at Lydia, she took in the woman’s features; or what was apparent, save the upper half of her face. “Might I say you look absolutely stunning this evening.” Being that Gabriel was a man, she would have to play the part and offer to take the princess’ hand, to kiss upon it before letting it go to straighten once more. “I couldn’t help but fight my way to the front of the line in hopes for a dance with someone as lovely as yourself.” With her arm having been freed from Cecil’s, she was open to make a move. Taking a glass of champagne from a passing waiter, she held it up for a brief moment before sipping from it. She was open for conversation first; though the flattery should have been promising enough.

Well, Astarte had never really expected to dress up while she was in Hell. But parties weren’t out of the question. Standing at the doorway to the ballroom now, she looked down at her outfit, feeling a little silly. Anything but girly, dresses were certainly not the norm for her. Such had been made aware while Rin played dress up with her in the mansion before his untimely death. Luckily enough, even after much hassle and bickering with the seamstress, she was put into something a little more her style. A leather mask and corset seemed befitting, as well as the fact the mask was nearly cat shaped. Astarte had originally rolled her eyes at the idea, but she couldn’t disagree with the seamstress while looking in the mirror. Hopefully her lover would feel similarly.

Speaking of Blitz, he had chosen red for his color. So, the skirting on the dress was overlaid with red colored velvet; heavy and even a little warm for Astarte, but wearable nonetheless. Standing here beside him now, she hoped for the best possible outcome in this mission. With both men close enough to hear her, she gladly would remind them to behave. At least until the cards were handed out. “Let’s try our best to make good terms with Eva,” she said lightly, switching her gaze from one to the other. “Something is bound to happen; it’s a party in Hell. Jump in where you want, but… Remember that we’re here on behalf of the Anarchy Division.” Seemingly content with that, she moved her arm in place of Blitz’ so they could enter the well dressed room, which was filling rather quickly. Being prepared, the hellcat already held business cards in her free hand.

Razorbackwriter:

~Prince Charming? Don’t you ever stop being dandy showing me you’re handsome~

The new Princess of Greed was gracious in her approach to Gabriel, who acted like Prince Charming. Even though the two had not met before, it was pretty clear from Gabriel’s effeminate features that this was the Princess of Wrath. His voice had an unmistakable tone, putting his best foot forward in treating Lydia with respect. No doubt Gabriel would have been a lot different if she were in her normal body. “Might I say you look absolutely stunning this evening.” He said, looking her over before his eyes came to meet her own. “I was about to say the same thing. You cut quite the figure in that suit.” If it was a night of performances, Lydia would keep up her end as well. “I see that Mammon had left you with a little something before he died. You are taking it well in your stride, I must say.” Watching Gabriel take up a glass of champagne, and prepare for small talk, Lydia was happy to oblige. “Course, he left me a little something too.” Lydia meant the Kingdom of Greed itself, not that Mammon would have ever wanted her to have it. His pet hate was to see women in authority. The Princess giggled and flitted her fan, while her man in waiting stood regally at her side, keeping close eye on those that moved around them.

“I had thought that perhaps there would have been ill will towards Greed, but of course I seek to allay fears that we are still on a war footing. I mean, Mammon attacked…what? A day after you had been crowned. Tsk tsk. You’ll be happy to know, I am not one that rushes in like my predecessor.”

Lydia offered a wide smile, before nodding politely to Cecil. “You must be awfully proud to be escorting Gabriel.” The Princess doing her utmost to engage conversation. For a moment however, she let her eyes pan the room, only to spot Maya and Allister, the couple that had tipped off Lydia about the death of Belial. Lydia took in a sharp breath and narrowed her eyes, before remembering herself and then showed a much softer look. She knew tonight would be about business above all else and she was sure to make sure Gabriel had her attention. “Later this eve, I have a gift of my own for you.”She leaned in and then whispered to Gabriel. “To remove that…nasty little curse.” Gabriel was sure to know what that meant. As she was Princess of Greed and had inherited all of Mammon’s powers, it was within her capabilities…..for a price.

Scar could see that the Princess had already gone into hostess mode, and let out a snort as he saw just who it was with. It took a moment for him to stop staring, and of course it was Mariela who would reign him in. She accepted his offer to dance, and with a polite bow, he ushered her onto the dance floor, and began to waltz with her to the beat of the music. He was very light on his feet, and you could say he was a natural. Around and around they would go. Scar holding Mariela firmly as her skirts were to float along the floor. “You dance divinely, my dear Mariela.” The alp said in a soft voice, as they moved effortlessly between the other dancers.

Zetta:  He looked onto the giant kingdom of greed to be very forthcoming to his impending mercenary career. Hoping that in all of his prior adventures and grandeur, this would be one of many thrilling times in his life. Unlike those times though, this job offered subtly which was something foreign to the man as with his strength, most things were as simple as overthrowing competition. Now he needed that competition to thrive, for as long as he needed to until he himself was rich.. Before coming into the Ball, Blitz would have turned to Eren, a mere glance out of one eye as he only actually turned his head to the side some to at least get a clear viewing of the other powerhouse here. “Maybe we’ll run into the one you were fighting before..” He flashed a half-smile then as he still carried a joyful persona, despite the disappointment in coming here only to make an appearance for their company. Then, as if he initially did not know the weight of his words, after a second past and they would have been coming upon the entrance of the building his face shut into one purely serious. “If we do, you wanna fight him solo?” As they were a team now, it was his choice whether or not he wanted to fight alone when it came to settling scores. And essentially standing up for Anarchy division he considered that odd chance that whoever it was who fought against Eren would show himself here as well; As wounds like he had could only have come from someone who was strong, and with some sort of fire manipulation, who similarly carried different flames like his partner did.

The three were now right about to come into the party and integrate themselves with nobles who were all but foreign to them all. For now, he abandoned his thoughts on fighting, considering the farewell their new boss had given them she likely did not expect them to come to blows with anyone.. Unless maybe the host or hostess offered a cake in celebration to their own arrival. Regardless he would not start rumbling just yet, not until he was introduced to some more comfort while spending time here. He turned around when Astarte had begun speaking only to tell them to behave themselves for the most part as they were representing Anarchy Division. While he had wanted to quickly move and tell her that he was already thinking ahead of her in that term, he would only appreciate that she had not said any sort of belittling comment along with her words of warning. She told them something simply, and he only smiled and nodded, taking her every word into the consideration. “Yeah, yeah..” He followed up with as even though he agreed with her he had still been hoping to cause a little bit of chaos while he was here..

Enter the Mortal-God: Donning a buttoned up red trench coat and brown khaki’s, Blitz spread his arms wide first, to aid in his lover’s opening of the door. Upon entering he brushed his shoulder against Astarte, only to get her attention, the moment she would look his way even in the slightest. The demigod would snatch her away from her stance, wrapping one arm around her waist, the other across her back he would swing all the way to the opposite side of where they both were but only barely off of her feet. Taking her into his own space of Romanticism and deliver an embellishing kiss.. A bold public display of affection. He did not care, as he would leave her to fall if she did not catch herself right after that. “Mask on, mask off. You’re my girl..” Blitz was unsure of what she would be doing while he would be giving out of his own given business cards, but since she looked so good in that dress of hers he only felt it was right to lay his stakes on her as anyone could be eyeing his love at this point. And at the ends of their togetherness he would be off on his own, making moves into the crowd to begin handouts. He held forty of them in a stack, like a deck of cards, by the end of the night his hands would be empty.

[Mask//Outfit]

Cecil’s eyes were moving with the dancing peoples all around him, he was observing everyone to try and detect the idle threat who thrived in settings like this. Where everyone was so busy that no one could take the time to notice one insignificant difference, that difference would be the thing that tipped off a chain of wrongdoings. Knowing this for sure, only because of the nature in Hell, and what Lady Gabriel had told him just before coming into this place. How he should not trust anyone, and more importantly be alert. These two things were different, the second one she did not tell him, it was what he implanted in his own mind. To be mistrusting would only be effective if he was also alerted to deception, while the man himself was not especially perceptive. This day could hold no endearment without the Lady’s presence steadily beside him, he felt that with her he could be happy. But every individual here could potentially end his happiness, and the most dangerous one would be where he least expected them to be. This result became more evident when the other princess in Hell had finally showed herself, drawing the attention of the crowd before her. Where she would look directly at Gabriel, bearing an altered expression for her specifically. One such look that the woman herself returned..

As expected she would follow up by getting her royal guard’s attention before making her move toward that one. The mere tap absorbed his thoughts completely and his eyes tracked this to even take a step before the woman, her words of promise bringing a skip to the beat of his heart.. It was very tempting to kill everyone here, and surf her to the feet of the one who she had been eyeing so closely. But the words before that were to tell him to be normal, which likely meant calm. Unless she was referencing his own form of normalcy, where he would be destroying anyone who gave her the wrong look.. Cecil was not idle with his movements unless it was for Gabriel after all. So his arm curved, as to make it an effortless move forward for the one leading him, and then he would be moving right along with her. They would brave it all the way to the space right before the other Princess.. His love was acting all nice again.. Just like before with that guy.. It was made clear to him now that this was the face and attitude she wore when she wanted to control a situation and put it in her own favor without directly applying herself. His mind flashed back to the failure that happened back then and he instantly considered snatching away this one with an overwhelming presence and forcing her to do whatever Gabriel wanted from her, all so she could stop this fake attitude and be the one he fell in love with…

Alas, that would have been wrong.. Or perhaps that would be his ticket to impressing Her. Now he was conflicted on what to do.. His eyes were wandering madly as he was stuck on what he should do. Doubting himself consistently until he noticed the other Princess nodding at him, for noticing sake. Taking the words spoken to him before he would nod as well. Towards what that woman said just now though his head turned to the side, and even tilted downward. Even if he was acting normal, it was too much to think about considering himself as the one escorting Gabriel, with it being brought to light for the first time- even minor he forced himself to swallow his ecstasy, lowering his eyelids to suppress visual excitement. “Yes… Very lucky..” He struggled to say, stepping out of the way when he noticed both women making their way to the dance floor.. If he was left idle then he would take the time to look over them, waiting for the bad feeling he had earlier to go away.

Moo:  The question the woman asked left both Oroan and Serin a little dumbfounded. When they had just explained themselves, this woman still expected them to know? What the hell did they look like? “We just told you–” Serin began, a little irritated. A quick thought directed from Oroan had her close her lips together in a line.

“Yes, we were attacked… it was dusk, so the man’s features were hidden for the most part.” Oroan continued the conversation easily, obviously relaxed. Years of dealing torture to pry a person’s mouth open definitely had its perks–aside from causing pain. Although her cutting in to request the princess wasn’t making this any better for the pair.
“From what I could gather, he had long, long black hair…he was unnaturally tall–taller than me.” The brute’s meaty hand rose well above his head. “At least by a foot or so. But he was smaller.” Some description that was. Oroan couldn’t have guessed the man’s hair color or eye color. “But I can tell you he dealt in magic and he was obnoxiously strong.”

“Black Elemental magic,” Serin cut in. “He manipulated the wind, lightning, and fire.” She paused for a moment, hearing the ruffling of heavy skirts accompanied by clacking of heels against the floor down the hall. “I don’t know if he was watching us the entire time we were in the square, or if he had arrived while we were tending to business.”
By the time she’d finished her sentence, Lydia entered the room. Or she assumed this was the princess, as she looked royal enough for the part. Serin had to take a breath to compose herself, being in the presence of the princess. The shit- storm was most definitely growing.

“We know nothing of the war because we were no where near wrath at the time,” Oroan replied. “Milady.” He was sure to add the last bit not to seem rude. Gluttony didn’t call for such formalities, but this was entirely different. And with a female, no doubt. There was a slight bow of his head in respect, in which Serin mimicked. “I’m not sure if your guard understood what was being said, but we are here on behalf of Gluttony.”

“Or were,” Serin added with a shrug of her shoulders. “Yesterday, that is. We just finished explaining it to…” She looked to the woman before her. “I’m sorry…I never caught your name, ma’am.”

Razorbackwriter:  “Her name…is Mariela, Duchess of Greed.” Lydia said, jumping into the conversation as though she was in control of it. Mariela was keeping her lips closed, probably cause she had lost the little thief. Waltzing past the trio, with Scar dancing along behind his Mistress, she took her place upon the throne, and settled down – fanning out her skirts. With the pair explaining that they WERE from Gluttony, the Princess took that as being former employees of Gluttony. They claimed to be nowhere near the war at the time. The guard apparently mistook what the pair had said in his message from Mariela about them.

Drumming her nails lightly upon the arm rests of the throne, it wasn’t hard to see that Lydia was formulating a new and cunning plan.

“I was unaware that Baal allowed his staff to wander the kingdoms at their will. What a chap.” Lydia beamed a bright smile as she eased back, almost like a cat in how she presented herself. If she was any more feline, she would purr. “I am sure that Mariela has explained that we are in a transitional stage here. Mammon…the late…great…Prince of Greed fell to Gabriel at the battle of Wrath. Like you both, I was nowhere near the battle. But from our towers we could see….and hear it. Such a shame.” At this Lydia pursed her lips and then the smile formed once again.

“Naturally a new heir had to be chosen and of course with Mammon having no children, it was I that was made the new monarch of Greed. I am Princess Lydia Dominatus, also known as the Demon of Ambition.”

Scar leaned against the throne and tipped the front edge of his hat, as his Mistress introduced herself formally. Seeing her acting so grand was enough to make him chuckle, but he had to admire her style.

“Since you have both come so far, and it is such a long walk back to Gluttony, why don’t you both…stay for the night. Maybe….a bite. I am planning on a grand masquerade ball in the coming days. One to be attended by all the Princes and Princesses of Hell. The event of a lifetime.”

Lydia batted her eyelashes as she took out her fan and struck it open. “Also….there is a little thief loose in my grounds, and I would give a bag of gold to the first person to catch her. She has a chalice that belongs to me, and I want it back.”

The Princess shot Mariela a look, which would be hard to read. “No hands off this time, I swear it.”

Moo:  The pair’s eyes followed Lydia to her throne. As the demon sat, they both bowed in respect, having turned to give her their full attention. “A pleasure to meet you,” Serin directed to Mariela with a turn of her head. A brief smile passed over her lips, faked.

The princess’ prodding didn’t require any answer as she continued to speak. A small relief to Oroan as he couldn’t explain his situation completely. It would give them away if he didn’t word it correctly. While she spoke, he would think of ways to twist his story until it was satisfactory–until he heard the familiar name of Gabriel. “…Gabriel, as in Belial’s lover?” There was emphasis on the last word. Everyone knew she hated the man, as she often made her want to kill the man very clear. And rumors about the two spread constantly around the kingdoms. “I don’t suppose she went to war to avenge him.”

“So she finally killed Belial,” Serin cut in, voicing her thoughts under her breath. Her gaze moved from the floor in front of her to Lydia. The demon of ambition. It made sense for her to take over the throne, given her status. However, it was abnormal for Hell to let women take a seat in the throne. Serin had to avert her gaze to hide the narrowing of golden hues. Interesting that two women would take thrones in such a short time.

Serin and Oroan exchanged glances. Something about staying the night, much less eating the food in this place, was unsettling. However, there was something in the tone of the princess’ voice that made Serin feel like no was not an answer. The demon master straightened in order to look less casual. The mention of Nami gave her a tinge of worry. They were being offered gold to find the imp and return the chalice. To turn down this deal was also suspicious for a pair like them. An idea formed in her head slowly as the princess swore hands wouldn’t be taken. Of course, what punishment was left if not that?
“That is very kind of you, milady,” she answered with a smile. “The generosity is almost overwhelming. We could use a good rest and meal after last night’s events.” Of course Oroan would normally grumble at this point, knowing flesh and blood would not be part of the meal. However, he kept quiet. “A bag of gold is hard to pass up as well. We can start searching for her immediately if you would allow us.” She bent slightly before tilting her head to look up at Lydia, awaiting her response. Oroan had of course mimicked her movement.

Razorbackwriter:  There was a bowl of fruit beside Lydia’s throne, and she reached out to pick up a bunch of grapes, while speaking. Rather than be overly formal, Lydia started to pick off a grape at a time and popped one in her mouth – chewing thoughtfully as the pair spoke about what they knew of Gabriel. “…Gabriel, as in Belial’s lover?” The male asked and much to her pleasure in this, Lydia answered simply. “Yep.” The Demon of Ambition had heard the report first hand from another pair that she had given a ride to in the park, thus then forwarding this information on to Mammon – who reacted just as she had imagined. “I don’t suppose she went to war to avenge him.” He continued. Lydia smirked and then waved her gloved hand dismissively. “Oh no. Mammon was furious at the idea of a woman being on the throne of Wrath….and how the poor Prince Belial had been betrayed by his lover. He found women to be untrustworthy.” Now, if you were to hear Lydia say this, and then of course put all the pieces together about the fact SHE was now the Princess of Greed, you would have to wonder. “Mammon was the one that started the war.” Course, Lydia didn’t let on that he was given a little push, but in a very cunning way. “I dare say he would roll in his grave if he knew….heh.” Lydia didn’t finish her sentence but if you could see her eyes they were positively glistening. Be it from the fact she had used her very nature to secure the ultimate prize. His own kingdom.

Taking another grape and popping it into her mouth, Lydia was pleased to hear that the pair would seek out the cheeky little brat that had stolen the chalice. Snapping her fingers, a servant appeared and then handed the bag of gold to the pair. “Now. I am trusting you both to return that girl and of course the royal chalice she stole from me.” The gold coins jingled in the pouch and it was safe to say it was a considerable sum.

Business having been concluded, Lydia rose from her throne and then decided now was the time to write up those invitations. Devil knows they weren’t going to write themselves. “Good day.” Lydia said, taking her leave and with Scar following along behind her like a shadow, they departed from the room.

Going out into the corridor, Scar asked about Mariela. “Little witch seems to be a bit quiet. You really think she is up to the task of being Duchess of Greed? She couldn’t even use her powers to catch a thief.” The Demon of ambition just tutted as she walked along. Her thoughts were on other matters. The ball was to be a significant event in the history of Hell’s royals, and nothing was going to stop her from planning it. “She’ll find her feet. Eventually.” Lydia said dryly, before turning back into her study. Reaching the desk, she took out a large wad of parchment and started to write out invitations to each of the Prince’s of Hell….and of course, one Princess. Each invitation was to the reigning Monarch and a partner of their choice. Other nobles invited included the Warlock Raul – owner of the Red velvet, and the famous Doctor – Doctor Wilhelm of Hell’s Kitchen. There were bound to be other nobles and all would get an invitation.

One after the other the invites were written out, and rolled up by none other than Scar, who wanted to be helpful. As each rolled parchment was tied off and sealed with a wax seal from Lydia’s ring of Greed, a black raven would be perched on her window sill and for each invitation another would come and fly off in the direction of the kingdom or business that the invitation was destined to go. Once all the invites had been sent, Lydia eased back in her chair and drummed her clawed fingers together. Her eyes danced as she thought about the ball and just who would attend. Each would have a reason to come. But Lydia had plans…..oh…grand plans. It would be a night that no one would ever forget.

Moo:  Serin felt wary of Lydia, due to the irony of her position and timing of Mammon’s death. She would not give this away as she nodded, smiling gratefully. The pouch of gold was jingled before being dropped in her hand, as a sign that there was plenty within it. The woman pursed her lips before glancing up at the princess, who was already rising from her throne. Her lips parted, wanting to protest being paid before the deed was done. Now the trio couldn’t wouldn’t get away as easily.

“Maybe we should leave it here,” Oroan muttered after Lydia’s exit. It was quiet enough so that Mariela might not hear. “Taking it would only put a target on us as well.” He stared at her from the side, having to lower his head to make eye contact.

Serin nodded her head after a moment. She turned to Mariela and set the pouch in her hand before taking a step back. “We wouldn’t feel right in taking the gold without catching the thief first.” A brief pause while she smiled reassuringly. “I got a good look at her, but it might be a little tricky. We’ll look for the chalice at any nearby shops as well.”
With that being said, the two were on their way, being led from the throne room back out to the front gate. And from there, they would wander into the courtyard to look for Nami. They did not plan on coming back.

Razorbackwriter:  The last of the Ravens had been given the invites to the Masquerade ball much to Lydia’s delight. Seeing them fly off into the skies of hell, the Demoness of Ambition wrapped her arms around herself and smirked a child like grin. Oh, she was always up to something. Plotting and scheming, but she never let anyone on to it. Scar set down the royal seal and then asked of his Mistress; “So…going off to bed then?” That alp didn’t miss a trick. He was hoping she was going to lay down and sleep for that was the time when he could invade her dreams. Not to mention sit upon those ripe breasts of hers. Oh how he loved them. Often when she wasn’t paying attention he was admiring her rounded and ample bosoms that always peeked out of the top of her gowns. She flaunted sexuality and well, if Scar had anything to say about it. Lydia, on the other hand was wise up to Scar’s devilish tricks and rounded on him. “I’m not even tired. Might have an all nighter.” At the mention of this, she stuck out her tongue playfully at the alp, before taking her leave from the room. “Go bother Mariela. See if you can’t get a cuddle with her.” Lydia’s words floated back, and the cheeky Alp grinned, before turning himself into a tiny butterfly – with that odd hat still on it’s head, and went fluttering off after the unsuspecting witch.

Greed : Blacksmith shop

Down the winding stone stair case Lydia went with a light click clack of her shoes. Her gown making a delightful hush like sound against the stone stairs, till at last she came upon the Blacksmith shop. Thankfully, that annoying dwarf was off on an errand, and that left Lydia to her devices. With a cat like walk she entered the room that was to the ceilings high with all manner of weapons, swords, shields, axes and of course one particular suit of armor. Beserker.

Slowly Lydia approached it – walking around the perimeter as her slender digits caressed the outside of the metal suit. The eyes of the skull helm started to flare up to a sight of burning coals. The helm itself following the Demoness’s movements as she was almost being affectionate to it.

“You never did tell me just how Mammon fell.” Lydia purred as she came around to stand before the suit of armor, that tilted its helm down towards his Mistress. A long and slow sound emitted from its mouth grill.

“Swy xdoky ab Qlosw heylpyk tu xaku, uail Werwfyzz.”

(translation : “The blade of Wrath pierced my body, your Highness.”)

“Oh yes…Gabriel’s blade. Poor Mammon. I dare say he was too far gone by then.” Lydia added, her hand reaching up towards the skull helm and then caressing its cheek. At this the suit started to chuckle and loudly.

“Wy kekf’s dyojy qeswais o holsefr zwas. Zofy yfairw sa rejy swy Hlefpyzz o holsefr…rebs.”

(translation : “He didn’t leave without a parting shot. Sane enough to give the Princess a parting…gift.”)

Lydia’s eyes lit up and she even chewed her lip. Her head turned slightly as though eager to hear more about this gift.

“Gift? He hated the woman. Why would he give her something as he was dying?” She asked, now that curiousity had gotten the better of her. Much to her delight, the armor would answer.

“Ef talfefrz derws, swyly qaidk xy o zerws – bal afpy o qatof, o tof qaidk xy ef hdopy.”

(translation : “In mornings light, there would be a sight – for once a woman, a man would be in place.”)

“WHAT? He turned her into a man? A curse? Ahahahaha….really?” Lydia drew back her hand and placed it over her chest as she was in shock by what the armor had just revealed. It was scandalous…and almost too funny to be true. Lydia’s laughter would be infectious and even the armor could not resist as he chuckled along with her – though his voice much deeper.

“Mammon was really keen to see men retain the thrones of Hell, but this…..this is insane. OH…OH..imagine waking up to see a dick when you got to pee. AHAHAHAHAAHA!” Lydia was nearly doubling over in laughter but then she started to right herself as the cogs and wheels started to turn in her mind. If Gabriel had been turned into a man, then surely she would want a quick fix. A way to break the curse. Lydia’s face became almost gleeful at the prospect of being able to right the wrong. But would the price be too high? Again Lydia smiled at the armor and blew a kiss.

“This ball….is going to be more exciting than even I had dreamed it would be. Ahaha……AHAHAHAHAHAHA!”

Fade to black……..
