Beware the Devil Woman.

Continuing on from “Dream Lover”, Nick has found the woman of his dreams.  But just as he thinks he is close…he couldn’t be more further away.

Co-written with SA.

SA:  Her fingertips kept moving along his chest gently, caressing his muscles under their feather-like touch, colder than ice, bringing both hands to his chest to only slowly lift them upwards, to his shoulders – Feeling each inch of his body, in her attempt to relax him while asking her question, to which she only got a non verbal response. A gasp escaped her at the rough tug, feeling his hands gripping her ass cheeks only to push her form so bluntly against his, until their bodies impacted together hard, with an audible noise between them. Chest pressed onto his bare torso, her hands clenching into tiny fists only to then loop them securely around his neck and shoulders, one moving even more upwards to clasp some of his raven strands between her long, slender digits. The kiss – That damned kiss of hers, scolding hot in comparison with the coldness of her body, those lips, scarlet and full, plump and sensually shaped now being genuinely molded with his, once more, only to let him know that the night they spent last night was no dream at all. To break apart from such a kiss seemed like an impossible task and yet she managed to, merely an inch away from his lips as they still brushed together ever so slightly as she mused out. “Why did you search for me…?” Sophia was genuinely surprise that he did. It was something new, something she never really experienced before – To be ~chased~. Usually, she would be the Predator chasing her Prey, the Crow chasing her Butterfly. Had the roles switched? Had she become the Butterfly?

RB: – The answer lay within her heated kiss.  Right there, he felt that same passion that had been ignited only in what he thought was a dream.  But this was no dream.  The room was not of her making, and there were no illusions.  She…was very real.  Feeling her hands weave their way around his neck to help secure her to him, he was reminded of how well their bodies molded together.  Almost like they were fused into one being – just for the shortest of time.  And so the moth entered the flame, and the rage that had been built over the last half hour started to ebb away, like the waves withdrawing from the sandy shore.  Only when she broke the kiss, and their lips were just touching; did Nick close his eyes and find an inner peace.  He still maintained his grip upon her.  One hand clutching her ass, the other now strumming the back of her neck – a favorite place where he loved to touch her.  Her whispered words begged the question…~Why search for me?~  The answer was so very simple.  That word that they shared, the same one they said to each other when they had fed on each other’s beings, kept playing over and over and over in his head.  It was the reason he left the kingdom behind.  It was the reason he was standing here holding her now.  Nick’s eyes slowly opened as he continued to nuzzle her with his nose and lips.  “You’re mine…”  –

 ~RB~

SA:  That was a surprise, even for her, even for the Crow – To hear those so very possessive words muttered out by him even made her freeze in place, incapable of any other movement as she simply stood in front of him, her lips parted slightly as if wanting to speak, though there was no sound to come out, only a short lived inhalation of surprise. Her arms came back down from their coiled state around his neck only to rest at her sides, before her whole body turned around, as she’d eventually escape his grip. “Yours…?” She repeated, as another question rested on the tip of her tongue while pivoting on heels to turn around and walk over to the window. Her arms did something he hadn’t seen her doing so far – They hooked around her own form, embracing herself tightly while her head canted downwards, seemingly staring outside to the snow-topped mountains. There was silence – No light but the moonlight, creating a dim glow which contoured her perfect silhouette, back turned to face him while she faced the outdoors.

RB: –  It was not the reaction he was expecting.  He was so sure that when they had been together that she said that same word.  That he was hers.  Nick believed whole heartedly that she was now his.  To feel her almost recoil was like a sharp slap on the face.  At first he didn’t know how to take it.  Watching her as she held herself within her own embrace.  Walking away from him towards the bedsit window as though to contemplate the gravity of his words.  Nick turned so he was now side on, his head turned towards her silhouette that was bathed only in the moon’s rays.   “You changed me.  That night, I have relived over and over in my head.  Sophia, I know I was more than just a meal to you.”  Nick still bore a dark expression.  His emotions now all over the place.  The vampire crossed the room to stand in behind her. As much as he wanted to touch her again, he refrained, as he made his point known.  “I am yours as much as you are mine.”  She was so deeply bound inside him that being this close to her was the closest he ever felt to being whole.  –

SA:  There were many who fell in love with the Wraith – Many who became entranced with her, after the first encounter – many more who promised her all the world’s jewels or the world itself, only to forget everything the moment the illusion shattered around them, the moment they were free from her embrace. Nobody actually took the effort to chase her down, nobody took the effort to try and relieve the night she gave them – but him. Why did he? Sophia had no answers to her question, even though he spoke the truth, the Wraith was incapable of understanding the meaning which lied behind those words. “This isn’t supposed to happen…” She wasn’t even able to grasp the sentence fully, when a wave of pain shocked through her body, from the inside out, making her yelp out suddenly. It was so odd to see a woman like her in actual pain, such agony that it made her lose balance and fall to one knee, one hand gripping at the middle of her chest while the other gripped the edge of the window, for support. Something went wrong – Like a short-circuit in her functioning system, for she was, indeed, more of a machine than a real woman.

RB: – How could she say that it wasn’t supposed to happen?  Surely she knew, since she herself said that the cards never lied.  He never lied.  From the moment that he sat down at that table and accepted her game.  Nick had to have done something that no other man had done before.  Was this so shocking?  The vampire brought nothing with him, but the clothes on his back and the card.  The card of strength, that she herself had given him.  He was not offering her gifts of untold wealth, castles in the sky.  He offered her the one thing he had power over.  Himself.  The will to find her and know the truth had been all encompassing.  “Before I met you, I was only hungry for blood of the living.  Then you…”  his voice trailed off as he watched her suddenly grip her chest and fall to one knee. In an instant he sped to her side, and caught her up in his powerful arms as thought he thought she was going to faint.  Nick held her close to him as he walked her to the bed in the centre of the room, and laid her down upon it – his face etched with concern.  Did he cause this?  The beast in him could be cruel, and deadly in one moment, and then tender and caring the next.  He reached up to brush her hair back from the black blindfold that covered her dazzling eyes.  The ones that stared at him unblinking in his dreams. –

SA:  That was when it all came down to the very moment of her collapsing into his arms, her body now resembling something that could even be categorized as frail, fragile. A fragile China doll, about to shatter in pieces, shaking and shivering in the male’s arms as arms came to loop around his neck in a sudden instinct to hold onto something, anything, those limbs shivering slightly against his flesh. He could feel her, looking at him even beneath that black mask which hid azure hues, he could feel her burning gaze on him, chilling him to the bone – She was pleading. “Don’t go… Please…” It was such an odd sight to see a woman who seemed so strong all throughout their little game since the Reading and until this very moment to appear so frail now, pleading for his company. When she was settled against the mattress, there was an audible sigh which escaped her, a pained sound as she curled up into a ball on her side, until nothing else was to be heard. To recognize whether or not she was asleep or even actually dead was a complex task, given her lack of breath, the way her chest remained still, immobile and without any respiratory function, making her appear fully dead now, that there was no sound coming from her. At all. Intuition was key in order to determine the fact that she was actually asleep, falling into a blackout state of exhaustion as only the digits of one alabaster pale limb moved in the air slightly, as she slept.

RB:  It was hard to describe the feeling, when this bewitching woman whose power was so great that it had harnessed him – was now begging him not to leave her.  Didn’t she just walk away from him when he said that she was his?  Sending out such messages that it was confusing.  Pushing away, then pulling him back.  What could he do but stand over her as she let fatigue wash over her.  Nick stood there, his lips drawn into a thin line.  The woman looked so frail, so delicate in this state.  Silver eyes swept over her form, and watched as her chest failed to move.  Acting almost as though she was a corpse – devoid of life.  Nick’s head tilted slightly before he let out an exasperated sigh, bringing his hand up to sweep back his wayward locks from his eyes.  He had travelled so far, and finally caught up with her – but so many things were unsaid between them.  So many things he wanted to say, to express.  Now she was out to the count.  Locked within her own being, be it from lethargy or something else.  Surprising since she had just fed.  The change in her was clear when she walked in the door.  Had something he said triggered this reaction?  He kept asking himself, why?  Sophia wanted this…she had to.  The wraith told him that he was hers.  He was only telling her that he felt the same way, yet it was wrong. Spinning on the ball of his right heel, he wandered over to the window and leaned to touch his forehead to the chilled glass.  His nails scratched downward creating an awful sound, that mimicked how he felt inside.  Being ripped apart by this bevy of emotions.  He’d left everything behind for her….was it for nothing? –

 ~RB~

SA:  To see a Wraith asleep was such an odd sight to see. There was an odd feeling of peace to her, to the way Sophia slept, when she barely got sleep at all, usually – To her, sleep was not something she truly needed except from moments of full exhaustion, which now made her appear so… alive. Curled up in a ball in a fetal position, like a small child trying to fall asleep, she looked so peaceful – unbothered by anything in the world, when, in her mind, she was going through Hell. Sleep. Most welcome it as a completely natural state of being, a state of being in which mind creates temporary relaxation upon body and ones guard drops, leaving themselves open for a sudden attack – Most of the times, there was no attack – But a perpetual feeling of apparent peace dominating upon body and mind and spirit, in between, like a constant balance between them both. In sleep, people allow their minds to take control, control which installs such things the vast majority categorizes as dreams and yet, dreams were more than just simple, fickle imagery of one’s mind – Oh, no. Dreams were much, much more that just that. Nightmares, now, nightmares were something far different, a very different stage of dreaming – One, foolish enough to do so, would believe that nightmares were nothing but another form of dreams, just a state created by one’s own mind and yet, there was something else to it, in addition. Such an odd visage. Snap. It was an audible snap as if bones cracked, followed by a loud, agonizing scream that could be heard through the entire rundown tavern. A scream which made everything FREEZE, just for a second. The scream of a frightened woman, waking up from a nightmare. Or so, it seemed. Azure eyes burned brightly, deeply as she looked around her surroundings only to recognize the visage of her own room in the castle, recognizing the Tavern she was in. One hand moved up instantly to her black mask, making sure it was perfectly placed over her eyes, hiding them from view of others. Paranoia, going haywire as she shook from each inch of skin.

RB:  Those two hours that Sophia slept, the vampire hardly moved from his place by the window.  As though the moon’s view might in some way bring him solace for the way he was feeling.  Every now and again, he turned his head back to the sleeping woman, but she made no sound, nor moved at all.  He made a silent promise that he would not leave her, and he didn’t.  Though when she awoke it was going to be hard to know what to do, or even what to say.  Though she still had this bizarre hold over him, he was starting to feel as though it was something that she did to all men.  Enslaving them in this sinister way.  Her blood pumping through his veins – so vital and addictive.  It was like she had harnessed his very core.  As he continued to stand at the window pane, there came a God awful cracking sound, like the splintering of bone.  It was sharp enough to make Nick snap his head around, since the noise was coming from the bed.  What came next was a blood curdling scream, that was so loud in pitch, that it tore right throughout the entire building.  Anyone with sensitive hearing would need to cover their ears to save themselves from damage.  Nick’s image instantly shifted across the room, like a blur as the very sheer veils around the bed were whipped up and then floated back down as he reached her side.  He wasn’t hovering over her, but he was damn close to it.  Watching as she pushed her hand up to the black bandanna that shielded her azure coloured eyes.  You could see the terror in her facial expression, the sheer agony of whatever it was that had brought about this shocking display.  Nick reached out and with the full size of his hand, placed it over her own to assure her that the bandanna never moved out of place.  “You’re safe.” Nick uttered, keeping his hand over hers. –

 ~RB~

SA:  To an extent, she did this to all men, and not only men – It was her way of feeding, the Reading she performed being her way of actually choosing her victims, choosing the manifestation of Sin that she’d feed on. On many, she fed on Greed, Envy or Wrath, being the most common which she encountered towards her, and yet there were the very few she actually was impressed with, to choose Lust. To spend the night with them in a perpetual illusory state of mind, to offer them a night to never forget only to fill her own hunger. There were even fewer which managed to go past that level, their number barely managing to be counted on one hand. Nick was one of them – Impressing her throughout the Reading and to their oh so intimate private meeting to only break all the boundaries of true surprise when he followed her here. It was a shock, such a great shock that it massed up the natural balance of how things usually functioned, the system which she guided her action along with, the Woman who functioned so much like a Machine that it even needed to reboot. It was the only time he’d hear and see her breathing, her chest heaving sporadically and insanely strong with short lived gasps, breaths of air in such despair and agony that she’d almost lose it, soon enough. When she felt the hand onto her own, Sophia craned her head slightly to the side, looking at him beneath the mask to make grasp of his visage, close to her after such a nightmare. Instantly, she rushed into him, her body jumping upwards to bump against his, roughly pressing together, her head burying into his chest. Still shaking, still shivering – Still in such a fragile state.

RB:  Nick could feel the turn of her head.  See how it craned ever slightly towards him.  He knew she could see through the bandanna in a way that no one else could.  She could see straight through him.  His facial expression remained unchanged.  Deep concern shown through his black eyes as they narrowed.  To come from an almost breathless coma to this quivering and shaking being that was in a state of panic was alarming.  Nick had acted in a way to protect her in a sense.  Hope that she would not feel so naked without her black eye coverage.  What was surprising however was that she rushed at him – leaping from the bed in such a way that it nearly knocked him off his feet.  Nick staggered about with her now pressed hard against him.  Shaking and shivering as though feeling the death of cold.  But he knew it was fright.  The woman had always been cold to touch.  The vampire’s natural reaction was to envelope her in his arms –bringing her in to the safety of his hold.  Her head was nestled tight to his chest, and his hand instinctively moved to the back of her head, slowly brushing his fingers down over her hair.  Sophia seemed to be so much smaller like this.  Delicate…fragile like a wild flower.  The protective side of the vampire came to the fore, and he released a low grumble like murmur that was a way to try and bring her some comfort.  Nick brought his chin down so it just touched the top of her head, and he closed his eyes, swaying her gently.  Hard to believe he had murdered an entire inn full of men just hours before, and yet was being so gentle with her now.-

 ~RB~

SA:  There was genuine fright in her actions, the way her body shivered, the way her flesh trembled against his. Genuine fright in her voice as it started breaking off even before she started to speak. Her hands came to his chest, clenching into small fists and gripping onto pieces of his shirt. “I feel.. so much pain…” Pause. She tried to gulp out gently, pushing down the node stuck along the column of her throat as she continued. “…he hurt me… I don’t remember.. I just feel the pain…” One of her hands slowly moved around to her front, gripping her own shirt in the middle of her chest, where the scar was – That small, vertical scar which was such a clean cut that it looked like an operation slice more than a brutal stab. She remained in his embrace, still shivering lightly yet beginning to slowly calm down after awhile, shivering much like a caged bird in the middle of winter.

RB:  Bewilderment soon changed to anger, when Nick heard that someone had hurt her.  A darkness not seen before started to appear in his eyes, and though he would never think to harm her, his grip around her became more intense.  Fingers almost twitching as he tried to absorb what she was saying.  Then she pulled on his shirt, her small hands closing into fists – her voice was shaking, stammering as though the words were too difficult to say.  “Who hurt you?”  His only words were a question that she may not even be able to answer.  Sophia then showed the mark that he had seen before on her chest that lay between her breasts.  So, she had been impaled by an object, possibly a sword of some description.  The swelling of anger was building deep inside him and it was hard to make it stop, till he felt her drawing back into him – continuing to shiver like a frightened bird.  Nick brought his hand around to place his fingers under her chin, in the effort to make her reveal her face to him.  She would be able to feel the sharp rise and fall of his chest, as he swore then and there that he would protect her from all men – regardless of who they were.  “No man will ever lay a hand on you again…so I swear.  They do…they die.”  He meant every word of it. –

 ~RB~

SA:  She didn’t answer. To Sophia, it was more than a choice not to answer the man’s question in regards to ‘who’ actually caused the wound at the middle of her chest, but an incapability of knowledge, a lack of it – She didn’t answer because she didn’t have an actual answer for it, the memory of what actually happened years, centuries ago being a faded vision through her mind, one that she could not grasp yet but in small snips which transferred themselves in the shape of nightmares. Her body, so close pressed against him as if desiring his protection and warmth where there was now, her voice breaking off with each syllable and those trembling gasps she let out between her scarlet lips made her all the more fragile to him, a side of her which she hardly put on display for many – Slowly, without even noticing it, Sophia was opening up to him, letting Nick in on a territory he would never step onto again – The territory of the truth, behind this abnormal woman, letting him stand right in front of that scattered puzzle, as if inviting him to try and place the pieces together. A task nobody ever accomplished, so far. There was a sob, the moment his hand went up to place under her chin, a small sniffled breath followed by two solitary tears, rolling along her cheeks, from those masked orbs under the black bandana. How odd to see that her tears were perfectly normal, compared to how abnormal she was – Just two droplets of saltwater trailing down until they reached and caressed the man’s fingertips as they rolled off her chin in its angled position held by him. His words echoed through her mind as she slowly began to make full sense of her surroundings, the last images of her nightmare fading away, seeing him much clearer now. “Nick…” She murmured out, mostly to be certain herself that it was him, standing in front of her, holding her now. The only word she would have been able to whisper now.

RB:  The vampire towered over the diminutive wraith, his head bowed as he swore his undying oath to protect her from harm.  The most bizarre thing then occurred.  A great set of wings tore through his back and he had to suppress a roar of pain, though this was a natural part of his being.  Large leathery wings flapped out proudly, nearly touching the roof and the floor, before they started to enclose around them both.  It was his way of showing his true self – the real beast behind the man she knew.  His hot breath could be felt as he let his head lower and he began to kiss away the tears that were falling from her cheeks.  He was a such a contradiction.  This beast was being so protective of her, a clear sign that he was of a greater power than he truly let on before.  When Sophia whispered his name, he took this as acceptance of his oath.  He brought his forehead to touch hers once more, his arms tightening around her form as he brought her hard up against his bare torso.  His scent would be heady to her, if she remembered it from their last encounter.  Nick’s sharpened nails drew along her back, but not so much to scratch her – he’d never want to hurt her, especially now.  That word that he had said before and again was repeated.  “Mine.”

 ~RB~

SA:  The wings were a nice added touch. It brought a surprise from her as her eyes roamed over the extra appendages, letting one arm extend out, brushing those soft fingertips of alabaster digits along its edges, feeling the feathers out ever so carefully. When they looped around the both of them so protectively, it only forced her body to press closer to his, her arms soon coming to wrap around his neck, in a possessive hold which only matched his. That word was muttered out, soon after, bringing a small murr out of her, a rumbled purring noise as her head moved in, only to allow their lips to press against each other. A deep, yet gentle kiss, lip on lip contact, mumbling into it gently. “Mine.”

RB:  There it was.  The word he had been waiting for, the one that he had heard her say in his mind over and over like it was a dream.  He knew now it was so very real.  She was his.  The kiss only sealed it .  Those soft lips that he had come to think of;  and cherish were now his once more.  “Sophia..” the word whispered as he broke the kiss, to look at her face one more time, before practically lifting her off her feet.  Nick started to kiss her again, only this time it was fueled by pride, and passion.  There was a rumbling sound from the pit of his stomach as it swelled up through him till reaching his throat.  Animal like and fierce.  The dominant nature now on display.  He was marking his territory by the way that he kissed her, so that she may never forget what had transpired between them.  No matter where she went, no matter what she did, Nick would be ever present.  She was his….and she knew full well by now, that he was hers.-

One last kiss – GS.

Tommy knew that he had to get on with his day.  As much as he wanted to stay with Elissa, he had a job to do.  Course, he needed to check up on Frank.  Little did he know what he was getting himself into.

Scene setting : Elissa’s apartment – Gantz Series.

Co-written with VunG.

VunG:  A Muttley-style laugh would slip out from behind the shower walls before the water was turned on, amused at his startled response. Ah, she loved it when she was nasty. Only thing that could’ve made that better was a Zoidberg ‘woop woop woop.’ Oh well, what could you do? She would continue cleaning herself, actually half-expecting to see Tommy come zipping through the door for another round. That said, it was probably for the best that they held off, they needed to get on with the day; they could think about more bedroom adventures later. Would probably be better if they did it at night anyways; no risk of being late… well at least for Tommy. Sometimes being self-employed was awesome.

Of course, she was fully aware that he was watching her outside, and as she lathered up she made sure to make it as sensual as possible, all too happy to tease him. Eventually though she’d get herself all cleaned up and out and get her hair washed, letting it drape down, not that it was particularly long. Exiting the shower with a content sigh, she smirked when she saw that he was still present. Drying off quickly, she made sure to apply special attention to her wound area before wrapping it around her torso and sitting down on toilet (lid down of course) and began changing her bandages. The area hadn’t broken, thankfully, but it certainly was a bit red… she was going to be hurting later; thank God for painkillers. Heh, would probably help with her ass not aching too. Being shot aside, this was probably the best morning she’d had in a long time.

Once she had the bandage on, she walked over to Tommy and shooed him out of the way so she could reach her medicine cabinet for her prescription. She smiled the whole time though, and she went ahead and gave him another peck on the lips once it was down. Whether he realized it or not, Tommy had Elissa’s attention now. When she had said she wasn’t necessarily in love, that was her going into semantics; this wasn’t a one night stand for her, and she had no intention of giving him anything more of that impression.

Razorbackwriter:  Tommy allowed Elissa to get into the medicine cabinet, by stepping back on command. The light wave of her hand, shooing him from the vanity worked. No words were needed. It didn’t matter that she couldn’t speak. Her body and that gorgeous face said more than a voice ever could. The reporter had been entranced by her, as he took on a voyeuristic nature. Silently observing her from the moment she left the shower and attended to her wound – that still looked to be quite sore. Pain killers were going to be the order of the day. Tommy continued to watch her. She took her medicine and washed it down with a glass of water, before turning her attentions back to him. His prize for behaving. A soft kiss. A peck, nothing more, but the softness of her lips was well and truly worth it. Tommy winked at her as she drew back, then started for the door. He tossed his clothes from the day before into the sports bag, and zipped it up tight. In a way, he didn’t want to leave, but he did have obligations, such as his job. His editor had instructed him to report on the hospital, but he always knew that the big scoop was the failings of the Commander, and his indiscretions. The parcel with the incriminating evidence was still out on the coffee table and had to be packed back up for when he caught up with Frank.

Frank.

Tommy rolled his eyes at thinking of his friend. He’d left a damning message that the detective call him, but as far as he knew Frank didn’t get back to him. Was he okay? Strolling over to get his jacket, he dug about in the pocket and fished out his cell phone. Looking back for a sign of Elissa, Tommy said.

“Going to try and call Frank before I go off to work.”

He pressed in the number and waited for it to be picked up.

~RB~

VunG:  It was hilarious how little needed to be said with Tommy, even excluding her sign language. It was like they were so in-sync that they just understood each other without any need for communication at all. It was… odd. She had become so used to having to work to communicate with people and get her emotions across, and here was Tommy understanding her like they were telepathically connected. Once he left the room, she would be pretty quick to finish tending to herself and would be just about to leave when she caught Tommy’s intent to call Frank.

That certainly brought her euphoric mood crashing down, though less out of concern and more out of anger towards the detective. Of course, he would likely be able to tell she wasn’t thrilled about something or another, but she’d nod and urge him to do so before heading for her room to change. Oh, she was concerned, she hoped he was alright, but she was still ticked that he had just jetted out on her with the last words being that he was pretty much intending to kill himself. If he was still alive, she’d have to restrain herself pretty hard not to punch him in the gut… though she would probably feel bad if he really did kill himself and she hadn’t done anything to stop it.

Razorbackwriter:  Tommy’s change in his demeanor might have come as a shock to Elissa as he was now barking down at the cell phone at Frank. Frank was alive. This was a good thing, but Tommy was still angry at him for the way he left Elissa’s and gave little or no explanation as to what he had been doing, or why he had not called before. Tommy had his back to Elissa as he spoke, but if she was paying attention, she would have seen him rub the back of his neck in a show that he was frustrated by his friend. The conversation seemed to be one sided. With Tommy barking questions repeatedly and not getting the answers he wanted. Let alone an apology. It was then Frank said that he would be there shortly with…a friend. The hell? The phone went dead and Tommy just held it out in front of him as though in disbelief that Frank hung up on him.

“Son of a bitch!” Tommy couldn’t hold back and then spun on his heel as he threw the phone down on the nearest chair. You could see the anger in his face. The gritting of teeth and the snarl in his voice. It took him a moment to get his composure. Did Frank have any idea how worried Tommy had been? They were supposed to be best friends. Tommy brought his fingers up to the bridge of his nose and pinched the two together as he muttered a few obscenity’s. He really cared about Frank, and often felt let down when the detective acted on impulse.

Finally getting his composure, he lowered his hand and then realized that he had lost control in front of Elissa. The one person he didn’t want to offend.

“Frank. He’s fine.” A roll of the eyes showed that his words were being with veiled sarcasm. “Apparently he is on his way here. You want first punch?” He was offering Frank up like a punching bag. All Tommy knew was he wanted to hit the guy….before he hugged him.

~RB~

VunG:  Elissa wasn’t bothering to actually change in her room to begin with, but as she passed and saw how agitated Tommy seemed, she definitely knew that it would be best to be on hand, for his sake. As she got into something closer to her usual attire, she quickly realized just how angry he seemed to be getting. Unless he had decided to call his boss after failing to call Frank and wound up in a shouting match, then those two friends were having a serious fight. As angry as she was with Frank, she had to admit that he wasn’t a bad guy and was probably under a lot of stress… she still wanted to punch him, but it was still rough seeing Tommy so angry. When he finished and sent the phone flying, she watched for a moment with wide eyes, glad she hadn’t been in the path. Letting out a sigh, she walked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder as he waited, looking up at the man with concern as she waited for his response.

To his words, a mixture of relief and frustration passed through her mind, grinding her own teeth at the thought of how long it took for them to find out whether or not the idiot detective was okay. She was a bit thrown off by the fact that he was coming here, but she supposed that he would have his chance to explain himself. ~Assuming he doesn’t flee before he steps through the door?~ she asked with a scoff before continuing, ~You first. I need to decide whether to punch or slap.~

Razorbackwriter:  Tommy hated how intense his anger had become and the timing was so off. The last person he wanted offend was Elissa right now, and it took a moment for him to reign himself in. Only when he placed a hand on his shoulder, did he remember himself. His eyes searched hers to see if she was dissapointed in him. But what Tommy saw was a look of both frustration and relief. Odd as it was. He felt the same way, and in a sense it was good they were both on the same page. It was amusing though how she signed that Frank might do the bolt before they get the chance to get him through the door. Yeah, he might see their faces and rethink his visit. Truth was they both felt the same way about the detective. At times he was his own worst enemy.

~You first. I need to decide whether to punch or slap~

Tommy beamed as Elissa signed this. In fact, he started laughing at the very idea of Elissa slapping him across the face. It’s not like he didn’t deserve it. Tommy reached for Elissa’s hand and then kissed the back of it, a smug expression coming to his face.

“Save the slaps for me. I kinda like it when you get rough.” He wiggled his eyebrows playfully, then now filled with a renewed sense of warmth for her, he leaned in and planted a soft kiss on her lips.

“I want to spend another night with you. Tonight, maybe?” He was so hopeful that she might say yes. Tommy had his own apartment though, and by rights he should invite her over there. But that was for later, unless she agreed.

~RB~

VunG:  Ahaha, it was so good to see that her response was able to cheer Tommy up a bit (not that she hadn’t meant what she said). Whether just the thought of her slapping him or Frank’s reaction that did it, she couldn’t help but grin a bit in turn to his diabolical glee. The kiss on the hand was a curious action, but certainly not an unwelcome one, even if she did roll her eyes a little. His words about liking her getting rough though, that got her all sorts of warm, the thought of how aggressive she could get with him shooting through her head a bit. Yeah, she’d save the slaps for him, all he wanted. That said though, the tender kiss he gave her was equally welcome, and she gladly kissed him back.

And then he went ahead and asked if she wanted to repeat this tonight. Oh… how to respond to this… hrmm… well, she could make a joke about making sure it was at his place so they could tear up his sheets this time. But… no, she wouldn’t bother with words. Instead she reached up to bring him down a bit and kissed him deeply on the lips, but as she did so she gave his crotch a light squeeze, just enough to get her point across. Once she pulled away from him, she just stared back at him, a coy smirk on her face saying what little hadn’t been said already. All she added was a quiet sign of, ~Your place or mine?~ Oh, she was more than willing to continue this dalliance with him; keep it going until they both got tired of each other.

Razorbackwriter:  A sizzling kiss. That was all Tommy needed to lick his lips and mouth “Yum”. The reporter watched her sign the question of whether it was her place or his and he was quick to answer. “Mine. I’d like to cook for you. But we might have to make it a late dinner. Once Frank gets here and we deal with him, then I have to get to work.”Tommy glanced down at his watch, and then grimaced. It was getting on already and he wasn’t sure how long it would take for Frank to get from wherever he was to Elissa’s place. He hoped that Elissa would be okay with this arrangement. Tommy didn’t normally cook for anyone, as most of the girls he had dated seemed to enjoy doing it for him. He got lazy after a while and simply either took girls out to a fancy restaurant or ate whatever was on offer.

This time round, Tommy wanted to impress Elissa. For some reason, he just felt this need too. It was odd, especially for a guy like him. Hell, he’d even take her back to meet his parents if he got the chance. That was how serious Tommy was becoming. He didn’t want to bring up the “I love you” line again, since it got him in over his head the first time he had said it to her. When the time was right…..when the feeling was mutual, he wouldn’t hesitate.

Tommy took up a lock of Elissa’s hair and curled it around his finger, as though he just wanted to play with her while they waited for Frank to show up. He did so without saying another word, though he kept looking into her eyes, before showing a special kind of smile. He moved a touch closer to her so he practically had her up against the wall. Deeply, he inhaled her smell. Even closing his eyes as he did so. The edge of his hand touching her cheek. Feeling the softness of her skin. There were two sides of Tommy Xo. One that could be so gentle….and the other that could be rough and ready. There just wasn’t time for another tryst, but instead he was going to quietly enjoy her. Even if she did just squeeze his balls.

You know, he didn’t mind one bit.

~RB~

VunG:  Huh… Tommy… cooking… that was an interesting thought. Truth be told, Elissa had no preference one way or the other as for whether her significant other cooked or she did. When she was married, her husband usually did most of the cooking, but that was because she had longer work hours, and she made sure to treat him every once in a while. She wasn’t an amazing cook, but she knew a few foreign dishes that she mostly learned just so she wouldn’t have to dump twenty bucks if she wanted to have them. Regardless, she was definitely curious to what he could do in that regard, and she gave an enthusiastic nod, agreeing full-heartedly to the plan… and like she’d been thinking before, it would be nice to alternate locations.

Eventually their decisions would slowly drift away, and slowly a very different mood would begin to fill the room. As he proceeded to play with her hair, she would look up into his eyes, her own blue ones sparkling thoughtfully, trying to figure out what was going on in his head. One of her hands simply dangled while the other rested on his side, and as he closed the gap her hand gladly rested on his hip. The closeness was pleasant, and as he began to caress her cheek, she would feel a strange, nearly-forgotten sensation filling her. This tender affection, this… gentle treatment, it was something that she hadn’t had in… well it felt like a lifetime ago. She had been more than a little rough, and nowadays that was the usual her–that or ice queen–but once upon a time she had been more like Tommy, able to show a far more tender side. Slowly she brought her free hand up to meet his, but she wouldn’t move it or try to control it, she simply laid it there and leaned into his hand, closing her eyes happily. Hmm… perhaps she had been hasty with him… simply calling this the beginning of them simply dating…

This felt… right.

Razorbackwriter:  It was strange, and wonderful all at the same time. Tommy didn’t have to say anything. It was right there. The way that he touched her, the way his eyes held hers and both closed at the same time. Two silhouettes that stood so close now it was like one being. Tommy didn’t even think about stealing her away into the bedroom again either. This…connection that they were sharing gave him so much more, than a wrestle between the sheets. He could feel a tightening in his chest, like he almost couldn’t breathe. He was right. Tommy had fallen. Fallen….crashed and burned in love with Elissa. He knew he didn’t have to say it this time, cause the feelings were there. Her face….the touch of her hand to his. A new happiness was spreading through him and he wanted to laugh. If she opened her eyes, she would see it. A smile fixed to his face that couldn’t be wiped away.

His free hand moved to cup her face with the other hand now. Closer he moved to her and then he kissed her. Not hard and hungry. This was different. He was professing his love without words, but through his actions. She must know by now. There was a sound. Not a growl, no. Almost like he was moaning her name, but he kept on kissing her. Pushing her back hard to the wall.

Damn Frank….if he turned up now. Tommy didn’t want this kiss to end.

Darkness – The Hub : Part Two.

This is the second installment of lpstribling’s and my collaboration of “The Hub” – Darkness.

LP – “Lock it down!” The man standing over Rory belted out the words as he straightened up and twirled an index finger in the air, giving some signal to a larger group of people.

Everything stopped. Everything. The music, the lights, the clinking of the glasses, the dancing. The occupants of the Hub now followed some strange automatic call and moved from wherever they were to huddle around a still-frantic Jacinta and her not-so-conscious birthday boy. The only sound holding in Jacinta’s ears was the ringing from what sounded like Duster, the band she was hoping to see with Rory, yet under slightly more normal circumstances.

She watched them crowd around and a strange chill scurried down her spine, almost to the steady buzz of the fading ringing from the now non-existant music.

As she knelt over Rory they were looking down at her – all of them. She turned her head, looking at each of them in the eye, and then moving on to the next one.

“This is the girl?” The tall bearded man asked. Jacinta had seen him before in the Hub. He hadn’t been there all that long, but he wasn’t a newbie, either. He worked behind the bar and, from what she had heard from people, he was pretty good at what he did. She didn’t have any complaints. After all, she usually managed to leave the place drunk, so he must have been doing something right. But she didn’t know his name. Worst of all, she didn’t know why he was asking about her, especially now, here in the middle of the Hub with the doors locked and the sound off. What exactly was happening?

“I guess.”

Jacinta’s head snapped around to the girl who answered – a short redhead dressed in black. Her creamy white face looked all-business above two arms crossed at her front.

“I don’t really know. He said he was waiting for some girl named J. I don’ know; I’ve never seen her before.”

“You J?” The bartender’s finger dropped down to Jacinta with a stern lock.

Jacinta’s eyes fell from the bartender’s and drifted again around the room of all the Hub-goers. They were all there, all the regulars. The bartender’s staff (how many times had she seen these people there) the cocktail servers, the bussers and the band. And then there was everyone else. Everyone. The patrons, the guests, the daily drunks, and business men, the hookers and the first-timers. It was just a regular crowd. Just regular people.

Then a slow smile grew across Jacinta’s lips. “Oh ha, I get it. Right? Right? I get it. This is a joke, right?” She stood slowly as she looked around more. “Like this, all of this is a joke..Ha ha!” She clapped twice and walked around slapping a couple of shoulders and pinching cheeks. “Even you Rory, you sick fuck.” With her foot she nudged the quiet tip of one of her heels into his ribs, waiting for him to laugh. “Right? I can’t believe you fucked me like that.”

Rory’s eyes were glazed over, glaring in a vague wide loose grasp at whatever the view from the ceiling brought him. His lungs still rose and fell in a calm rhythmic repitition.

“C’mon birthday boy! it’s over. I’m done. I got it. Let’s go. No more.”

No one moved. Not an eye, not a smile, not a subtle reach for a cigarette.

The clear drinks on the bar still held their shape within the glasses they’d been given.  What happened to the Tongan bouncers?

It was frighteningly quiet.

“Lights,” the bartender said.

Everything went dark.

~

RB – Why wasn’t anyone speaking, other than the bartender and the ginger haired girl?  Surely this was some sort of stitch up.  People all playing along to make the prank seem so real.  Jacinta practically fell for it that was until Rory didn’t yell out “Surprise!”  He just lay there.  HIs eyes had this  glassy look about them.  Had he been drugged?  This wasn’t funny anymore.  “Heh..”  A nervous half hearted chuckle escaped Jacinta’s lips, but no one cracked a smile, let alone moved.  After the experience of being chased down, then having the homeless man tries to attack her; this was now the icing on the cake of what was a dreadful night out. Why wasn’t the band playing?  Why was everyone staring at her?  She had tried to get the stains out of her dress.  No, that can’t have been it.  Where was Trevor?  Why were the doors closed?

Jacinta swallowed hard as a wave of shock raced through her system.

“This isn’t funny anymore.” A light waiver in her voice as her courage all but left her.  Eyes turned to that of the bartender, but he stared at her coldly then simply said…”Lights.”  The club then fell into darkness, which made the whole situation all the more terrifying.

“Rory?  Please…get up.  Say…something.”  Jacinta could no longer see any of the faces of the patrons and staff.  All they were was shadows. Hovering.  Close.  Too close.  Jacinta backed up just a step and felt something or someone big in behind her.  She suspected it was a male, by the feeling of their body in behind her.  But what she hadn’t anticipated was how cold his flesh was.  There was the chilling touch of his breath on her shoulder, that made her jump in surprise.  Without warning, a large set of hands seized Jacinta by the arms, locking her in place.

“Let me go!” Jacinta screamed in protest, kicking and struggling from her captor’s grip – trying in vain to wrestle herself free.  But the harder that she struggled, the tighter the man’s fingers bore into her flesh.  All she could do was lash out and kick with her feet, one foot accidentally kicking Rory who was still on the ground.

“Ahaha, she is feisty.”  The Cinamon haired girl let out a twisted laugh at Jacinta’s expense, like she was actually enjoying the show that the frightened girl was putting on.  Jacinta’s hair was now partially covering her face, but she could just make the outline of the girl that spoke.  Jacinta heard her when she first found Rory on the floor.  Why was she laughing?  Jacinta had never seen her before in her life.

“You think this is funny, bitch?”  Some of Jacinta’s spark had returned as she fumed at the treatment she was receiving.  None of this made any sense.  It was supposed to be a night out to celebrate Rory’s birthday, but everyone was acting like extras from a horror movie.  Jacinta snapped her head towards the bartender and screamed “Turn on the lights!”  It was amazing what adrenalin could do. Her eyes darted towards all the shadows that were standing there, silently.

“Rory did say that I’d like you, J.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”  Jacinta hissed back.  She looked down to where Rory lay on the floor.  Had Rory been drinking and socializing with this bitch before she got there?  How did she even know who she was?

“You drugged him!?”  This was the first thing to come to mind.  It was the only reason as to why he would be on the floor like this.  Kim stepped over Rory and came to stand right in front of Jacinta, cocking her head to the right slightly.  “Maybe..” A cruel smile was forming upon her lips.  For some reason, she was easier to see in the darkness.  Why that was however was a mystery.  A slender hand, again cool to the touch graced the right side of Jacinta’s face causing her to inhale sharply.  She tried to draw her head back but it hit the man’s chest behind her.  That was enough for her to jerk forward again.

One of the bar staff handed Kim a champagne glass that was filled with a clear liquid.  She placed her finger in it and gave it a swirl before glancing up through her long eyelashes at the well restrained Jacinta.  “You can join him, you know J.”

Without warning, Kim gripped Jacinta’s jaw and tried to make her drink from the champagne glass.  Her nails cutting deep into Jacinta’s flesh. There was a burning hatred in her eyes.

“Rory!” A garbled cry coming from the poor girl who was being forced against her will.

~

LP-  As scattered as they were, Rory forgot his dreams as soon as his eyes blinked open. Things blurred for him. A deep heavy blur. There was consciousness and sound, and there was a mix of dreamy memories.

He remembered screaming, something with struggle. There were solid voices, stable, those which spoke of confidence and promise. They mixed with the fearful, the unsure, and the timid. Something was wrong with the second set of voices – they were unstable, although they were few. Or was it just one. He heard J’s voice. It sounded good. And he saw her too. She was running. She was running to him and it was outside. But she was running not because she wanted. She wore walking clothes, business clothes, clothes she wouldn’t use to run. And it was dark, and it was outside. Her eyes showed her to be afraid. Rory tried to look behind her in the blur of his dream, but there was a point at which his vision dropped off – low beams in the woods at midnight.

“…sure no one knows. Not one bit of what….”

That girl was there then. He smiled when he saw her. Something in his heart felt bad when the thought of J while he was still with her. But what she gave him was good – it felt so good. There was her color, her smile, her wit. There was the way she walked right in and moved his social borders to the side, as though they had no purpose whatsoever. It was as if she said, ‘We don’t need these here, do we?’

“…the two of them. I don’t need another Shastin brothers incident. As soon as he wakes up, I want you to…”

The cinnamon girl was there too. She smiled with her big bright teeth, clean teeth, and her laugh…her lips were just so natural and she knew it, didn’t she? She wore black, and Rory was helpless. In his warm slumber a gurgle escaped his mouth.

‘Simmen grrl.’

The sound and quick rumble of his own vocal chords brought him back into a state of fuller waking. He let the weight of his head drop to one side and saw another form there. J was sleeping in the quiet dull of a rusty yellow ceiling lamp, the wires of which were lost in the dark above it. Her body lay recumbent on a table, a white blanket covering her. ‘That’s good,’ Rory thought. ‘There’s a lot of scary things happening in this place. Sleeping’s best.’

“He’s awake.”

The incoming footsteps brought Rory closer to full consciousness.

“Mornin’, Sunshine.” The man’s voice was gruff; it matched his stature and color of his blurred form as Rory’s eyes made blinking struggle to give his body clarity. His stature loomed in the dim room, his head almost brushing the hanging light as he and a shorter girl crowded in on J’s resting form. The blur of Rory’s eyes eased into a slow clarity and the man’s dirty trench coat and worn boots gave him the away – a street man, someone who lived outside, survived on the concrete. And from his beard, unkempt and frayed, there was something worrisome about him, something that showed he wasn’t concerned with how others perceived him, moreso how others felt in general.

“Mmm?” J stirred as the two stopped over her.

“She’s still out for a bit. We can still get some work done, enough for starters anyway.” The large man’s form was blocking the body of the girl who spoke, but Rory recognized it without having to see her. “You sure this is the girl, though? The one you chased?”

“Yeah,” grunted the man. “‘At’s her. A real runner, too. I would have had to chase her more, but when I realized she was still headed here, I figured I’d save the energy.” He bent down to J’s face. “Probably got all your runnin’ for the week tonight, didn’ yeh?”

Rory listened and looked. The voices inside him were too scared to make a sound. He wanted to yell at J, tell her to look out and to find someway to get her out of there. Things were too scary. He wanted to get out of the scary parts of the night. They could talk about it later, but right now his dreams and things he was seeing weren’t very…where was this place? Things were wrong, but Rory didn’t quite know where.

I hear you, he thought. I hear you when you tell me this is bad. Every one of the voices in his heard were pounding. They told him, screamed at him to do something. I know, he thought. I’m trying.

And he was trying – he was trying to move his body, but all he had to himself were his eyes, his mouth, this throat and the automatic breathing of his lungs. Yet his arms weren’t working, neither were his legs. Not his toes, his fingers or his torso. In several instances, he made a full body trial. ‘Where am I not working?’ was the thought. Nothing moved.

Frustrated, he began to sniffle. Tears formed in the ducts of his eyes, and one rolled over his cheek and dropped to the surface. He sniffled again and murmured through a pair of semi-functioning lips, “J-j-Jacin-ttaa.”

Another sniffle, and the tall man turned from J’s quiet form to face him. In the background, the girl behind was visible as well. It confirmed what he already knew.

Again, he tried to speak. “Simmen grrl.”

RB –  “Hello……Hello?”  A room without windows, without doors. The walls were like glass – black glass.  Shiny and smooth to touch.  Jacinta ran from wall to wall – pressing her hands up to the glass surface but she could only just make out her own reflection.  She was still dressed in the same clothes as the night of Rory’s birthday.  A strangled cry came from the very pit of her stomach as she continued to smack her palms to the glass walls.  There was nothing to grip onto.  No handles, no latches.  Just the cool smooth glass that formed the four walls, ceiling and floor of what was a prison.  Surely this was a dream  A dream from which Jacinta had no way of knowing how to wake.  This was one of Jacinta’s fears.  Being trapped in a  glass box with no way out.  Her heart started racing as the wave of panic started all over again.  “Why is this happening?”  The girl brought her curled fists up to the glass and beat at it repeatedly, till her hands were swollen and bruised.  The glass remained unaffected by her efforts however, and soon the girl turned and pressed her back to the glass – sliding down slowly into a crumpled heap.  Her head soon resting on her knees with her arms curling around her legs as she rocked back and forth.

The reality was far different from being trapped in a glass box.  Jacinta was laying still on an observation table beneath a rusting yellow ceiling lamp, much like the kind you would have seen in an old World war two movie,  like old war bunkers.  It was a far cry from the strobe lights of the Hub.  Whatever happened after Jacinta had been forced to drink from the champagne glass was all but a haze.  The last thing Jacinta remembered was the room spinning as she was consumed by a terrible darkness.

An assortment of coloured wires that were from several monitoring machines, were fed up and under the white blanket that covered most of her body up to her neck.  Her head was resting on a small u shaped support.  Jacinta’s face looked calm, serene almost.  How looks can be so deceiving.  Though the scruffy bearded man enjoyed seeing her like this.  Different from how she was when she was practically sprinting down the main street to get away.  Fast and in such serious footwear.  Jacinata made a sound, like she was rousing.  Perhaps it was due to the scent of his breath as he leered over her.

“Yeah, this is the one.”  A certainty in his voice when he looked over at Rory, who was now mumbling what sounded to be Jacinta’s name.  The trail of a single tear down his face indicated that he was starting to come around, and knew that his friend J was there.  It was the other name he said, that got Kim’s attention.

“Simmen grrl.”  That was what he called her.  Almost like a pet name, a nick name. It was almost cute.  His quiet sniffle brought Kim from her place at Jacinta’s side to walk over and caress the forehead of the incapacitated Rory.  “Shhhh.  You’ll only wear yourself out.   Don’t worry about J, she’s in good hands.”  A light head tilt and Kimmy assumed a more caring expression.  “You’ll thank me later.  I know you will.”  The corners of Kim’s mouth curled ever slightly as she continued to stroke the top of Rory’s head, before leaning in to plant a soft kiss on his lips.

“Miss Lloyd?  I thought I told you to bring me the Kenner file.”

The sheer glass walls warped and changed into that of her boss, Mister Hinkley’s office.  Jacinta had gone from being curled up near one of the glass walls, to standing in front of her boss’s desk.  She couldn’t remember why she was suddenly there, and why he was looking at her so oddly.

“Miss Lloyd?  Are you alright?”

“I…uhm.  I…”  Wide eyed, the young secretary looked at her reflection in the mirror, and she looked just as she had before she’d left the office the night of Rory’s birthday.  Why was this like experiencing a repeat of the same day?  Jacinta was completely lost.  Clueless as to what was happening.  Where were the glass walls?  Her breathing became shallow, as she fumbled with a folder that she was now clutching in her hand.  It was marked “Kenner Inc – Classified.”

“Jacinta…this is highly unprofessional.  I really did expect more from you.”  Her boss rose from his chair, and made his way slowly around his desk.  Raising his hand to button his jacket as though taking on a more formal appearance.  Jacinta was ready to hand over the file that was until the body outline of Mister Hinkley flickered.  Much like the way a television screen does with bad reception.

“Hand it over, Miss Lloyd and and then you can make a start on those presentations.”

“J-j-Jacin-ttaa.”  It was another voice and not just any voice.  It was Rory.

“Rory?”  She could not help but answer him.  Why did he sound like he was crying?  Better yet, where was he?  Jacinta clutched the file closer to her chest and took a step back from Mister Hinkley, who was now scowling at her angrily.

“Hand it over, Jacinta.” His voice had a gravel like consistency, which was nothing like how she knew him to be.  Her boss went to snatch the files, but it was at that moment his face changed to that of the man that had chased her through the streets.  That horrid man.

“Probably got all your runnin’ for the week tonight, didn’ yeh?”  The smell of his breath made her want to be sick.  The room started to swirl and break away, as a bright light shone from above.  Jacinta could feel the grip of a man’s hand upon her and though she tried to pull away, she was incapable of moving.

It was like she had no control over what was happening, but instead of going back into the glass walled room, she found herself lying flat on what must have been a table.  The steady hum of machines that blinked rapidly, along with an array of lights and stats started to come into focus.  Her eyes were opening, ever slowly.  Jacinta’s pupils changed to try and adjust to the light of the room that was directed down upon her.  There were tubes in her arms, IV’s and all across her chest and abdomen; small sensor pads that were stuck to her with a special tape.  Only when the face of the hooded man came into view did the true horror start to set in.  Had she been operated on?

“Simmen grrl.”

Jacinta turned her head towards the sound of what was Rory’s voice and what she saw made her physically sick.  It was the girl from the club and she was leaning over Rory, kissing his lips.  Was this another nightmare like in her boss’s office?  A surreal kind of dream?  Jacinta struggled within a body that simply would not obey her commands.  All she could do was turn her head.  Turn her head and watch the cruel display of Kim being affectionate to what she thought to be her man.

“J’s awake.  Just enough time for one last test.”  Again the bearded man spoke, and what he said made Jacinta’s blood run cold.  ~Test…what test?~  Kim glanced up from Rory, who was still unable to move or respond to what was happening to him. She took in the terrified look on the young girl’s face and smiled in triumph.  All she did to respond to the bearded man was nod…..and only once.

A quiet whimper was all that Jacinta could muster, as the bearded man was handed a needle from an unseen accomplice.  He forced the tip into the saline drip and started to press down to release the clear liquid that ran down the tubing and into Jacinta’s arm.  There was a sharp stinging sensation, before Jacinta’s eyes rolled into the back of her head.  If only she knew what they were doing.  Why she replayed her day before the party.  Who was this evil man and the cinnamon haired bitch?

As Jacinta once again lost consciousness, a door opened and a well dressed man in a grey suit entered the room. He looked like a banker, or lawyer.  Clean cut, perfect hair and chiseled chin.  Steel blue eyes coldly surveyed the room and then the two that were layed out on the tables.

“Good work.”  His words were curt as he closed the door behind him, only to face Kim who had stopped preening Rory’s hair.  This man in the suit.  He must have had some authority, since Kim backed away from the tables for him to inspect.

In the crook of his arm were some files, and on the one that faced outward was a snap shot, similar to a government photo.  The woman in the photo had much lighter hair, but the eyes were unmistakable.

It was Jacinta.

A Little Red Dress – Chapter two

red animated GIF

The second in an erotic series that started with Cafe Discretions.  The new chapter is “A little red dress”, co written with TA, and is adult fiction – so reader beware.

RB–  It had been about a week since Alana had enjoyed the pleasures of the unknown gentleman at the Coffee house.  She had toyed with the business card he had handed her right before she had taken flight – sated and wet.  Thoughts, wicked ones had crossed her mind as she ran her thumb over the gold embossing.  Every so often she glanced at her phone.  Should she call?  It was not like he knew how to find her or even where she worked.  She was still very much a mystery to Alec, but one that he probably wanted to explore in more detail if given the chance.  It was tuesday evening, just about time to knock off work when Alana finally gave in.  Taking out the card once more, she silently stared at the card.  There was to be an office Christmas party hosted by her boss, Mister Ferguson.  Everyone was said to be going, and her boss had made it clear that he hoped she would give him a special surprise for his Christmas present.  He’d made advances towards her through the course of the year, and always liked a drink at the Christmas do.  She could imagine just how bad he would get, but then she thought of Alec.  Letting out a breath, she took up the phone and then pressed in his number.  Would he answer?  It was his business line.  Chances were he had a secretary of his own.  The phone started to ring….
~
TA – A couple of days had gone by since he experienced  that lovely moment with Alana – he wondered if she would ever call. He had actually stayed away from the bistro for a time, just to let the aura of the encounter fade away a bit in the event they were noticed. However, he cared more about that killer body he had been able to have liberties with, and whenever he walked the block or two from the office, his eyes were always open. He tried to imagine what her life was – of course they hadn’t talked about themselves beyond their wants, so did he want to know more, or did he just want to bang her. His desk was covered with paperwork that wasn’t going to get done on its own, so he thought about spending a few more hours at work. He knew with the holidays coming normal schedules would be different so she was probably out of town, a lot Englanders liked to get out of the city for the week, and he wondered about driving out to spend a few days with his family. He looked at the paperwork, glanced out the window, and decided to get up and stretch a little bit, get the blood flowing. He imagined again Alana in her own world, wondered how she spent her evening and began to fantasize a lovely woman that tossed everything aside at night to just lounge with her legs spread over a divan, like any stunning woman would in her free tie. He imagined her taking her fingertips and beginning a slow tease across her skin, sipping wine, and then he wondered if he might be the image in her mind. Hiss phone began to vibe in his pocket, and he reached inside pulled out the phone and a number appeared that wasn’t familiar. His policy to not answer unknown calls given his profession, so he let it go to voice mail. He thought if they really want his attention they’ll drop him a message. He didn’t even think about her actually making the call, but after it moved to voice mail, he returned to his desk and began hitting the paperwork.

RB– Alana waited for the sound of Alec’s voice on the other end, and she got it….but it was his voice mail message. ‘Great..’ she thought for a moment, as she waited for the right moment to speak.  Alana swiveled in her chair and stared out of the office window at the city that was spread out before her.  He was out there, somewhere.  Finally the beep sounded, and that was Alana’s cue.
“Alec.  I don’t normally leave messages, but in this case I guess I will.  I’m not sure if you remember me.”  She paused for a moment and frowned.  God, that sounded pathetic.  She could do so much better.  “It’s Alana.  I happen to be attending a little do here at the office tomorrow night and I wondered if you might like to come….come..and have a drink.”  Her voice became softer as a client entered the office and nodded at Alana – he had an appointment.  Knowing she had an audience, Alana changed tact.  “I believe I owe you a drink at least.  You have no idea how much I enjoyed your company.”  This was said with a sultry tone, as she then went to give him the details of the address and the floor – along with the time.  Alana closed the phone and set it down as she looked back at Mr Jansen, the new client.
“You’re early.  I like that.  Let’s get down to business.”

TA – the ding went off on his phone so he decided to listen to the message. The moment he heard her voice his demeanor changed. He immediately got up and shut the door to his office, and walked to the windows. Her voice was in his head, and he chuckled at the first couple of lines. He certainly didn’t expect that vulnerable tone from this delicious barracuda he had submitted to the other day, but then realized we don’t always know people beyond their exterior facade. He listened with intent to the address she’d given him, “17th floor, 2042” he scratched on his notepad, and then put his phone down on the desk. He stood there for a minute and looked at the phone. He immediately thought he might be staying in town for the next couple of days.
‘Heh” he laughed to himself. She called him. It wasn’t an arrogant laugh, there was no tone of confidence, he simply remarked at the fact she reached out. He walked over to the window and looked directly at her building, surveyed the floors and tried to determine where the law offices began. He knew it was around the 14th or 15th floor and then stretched upwards five floors. He has sent a few clients that way. He imagined their offices being directly across from each other. He imagined he might be looking right at her, but had no idea of that even being a remote possibility. He picked up his phone, threw a few papers into his satchel, walked over to the windows and dialed … feeling a sense of arousal just with the notion of her making a connection.

RB– The night of the Office party had arrived, and thankfully Alana had been able to duck back to her apartment and change into something a little more festive.  A knockout red cocktail dress with matching heels and sheer stockings.  Gold diamond earrings finished off the dress nicely, and she wore her hair in a loose bun, with the curls that framed her face giving her a much softer look.  Alana checked herself in the mirror before she was to head to the door, and was happy with the effect.  Very festive.  She was practically a present waiting to be unwrapped.  If only by the right person.  Thoughts again returned to Alec, and she felt herself glow at the idea of his presence.  How he made her feel, his touch.  They had seen each other so many times before the encounter, but not in the days that followed.  This made the want for him grow all the more.  Oh yes, the nights she lay upon her cotton doona – imagining that her fingers were in fact his.  His face, his voice had filled her nights, if only it was just her imagination.  Alana hoped that this night might lead to more.  Happy with herself, she grabbed her clutch and headed for the door.

Driving into the underground car park of her office building, the silver Mercedes pulled up in the last row of spaces.  The lights dimmed, and Alana quickly checked her phone.  He hadn’t called back, but maybe that was done on purpose.  She called him.  Usually, it was the other way around.  Would he even come?  Alana undid her seat belt and opened the door of her car, stepping out gracefully, and reaching for her purse.  She slammed the door, which caused an echo in the car park.  The alarm triggered and the flash of yellow lights faded.  Looking about and not seeing anyone else about, she headed for the lift.  Her hair bounced lightly upon her shoulder as she walked with a pronounced strut.  Her red heels clacking on the concrete floor of the car park as she stopped before the lift and tapped the up button.

TA – He held onto the phone and just looked at the number, and wondered if he should hit send or just walk over and surprise her. He thought, hell, everything has been spontaneous, I’ll just walk over. He took off his tie and dropped it in his office drawer with the others, loosened up the top button, rolled his sleeves back a flap or two … going for that casual, and hot enough outside he didn’t need his sport coat. He walked over to the bar, and poured himself a scotch, leaned into the cherry wood counter and caught his eyes in the mirror. “Okay, so who am I today?” The lonely bachelor, or the ‘everyman’ that women want. He knew the scotch would help define that and slugged it down.

He walked over to the window and imagined her readying herself for the Christmas party. The fact she was inviting him indicated she would be bored as hell, and this would be an easy invitation to ask her to get out of there soon after they arrived. He walked out of the office, and pushed the down button on the elevator. Sally said good night and he realized he had ignored her, and turned around and smiled and said, “oh, damn I didn’t even say good night” “you have a wonderful holiday alright, and drive safe, I’ll see you on Monday.” She smiled and nodded that knowing glance that said to him she would always hold onto that night last spring. The doors opened and he got on – leaned against the wall, and as the lift began to descent imagined doing it with Alana in this little square box. Hmm, could work.

He walked into the evening heat, and strolled across the street in sort of a brisk jog seeing a gap in the normally constant traffic, and walked into the glass doors fo the office building. The attendant asked him to sign in, and said ‘office party right?’ He said ‘yes’ and was glad he didn’t have to explain, and realized his demeanor was inviting. He walked across to the elevator and before pushing the button, scanned the directory to see if her name came up in the listing. The print was very small and only listed last names.
 The elevator door opened …

RB–  The door to the elevator opened at the foyer, much to Alana’s surprise.  She thought that the lift would go straight up.  Castling her blue eyes up to who it was that had rung for the lift, she was taken in by the man standing there waiting.  It was Alec.  At first, Alana was left speechless to see him there.  He looked incredible.  No, wrong word. He looked fuckable.  Alana chewed her lip as she asked demurely.  “Going up?” Almost like she pretended not to know him.  Well, she didn’t know him as well as she had wanted too.  Alana moved to the left side of the lift, so that he could easily come in and press the button to make the lift close.  Something told her it was going to be a long ride to her floor.  One of her core fantasies was doing it in a lift.  Something about being trapped in a confined space and no way out.  Alana reached for one of the hand rails, and curled her fingers around it. This showed off her perfectly polished nails.  Fire engine red, just like her dress.

No one else was there to use the lift, so it would just be the two of them riding up.  Once he got in….who knew what would happen.  Needless to say, the security officer in the foyer would be the only privileged to get a special screening of their second encounter.

One of Alana’s pencil straps slid off her shoulder, and she gently moved her hand to draw it back up into place.  Her perfume was scented with rose and lilac.  The fragrance intoxicating as the doors closed.  Sealing them in.

TA – Shocked by her presence he was immediately drawn to her red dress, and glanced around for a minute and casually strolled onto the lift and closed the door, winking at the security guard as he disappeared behind the metal. He then turned immediately to her and reached her hand and casually let her let go of the strap, and wrapped his fingertips underneath and slowly slid it down her shoulder letting his fingertip slide along her naked skin. He was intoxicated by her perfume, and immediately took his other hand and began to lower her other strap, not to undress her but simply to have access to her naked shoulders. He knew her delicious bodice would have no issue holding her dress in place. As his lips sought her he watched her fingertips reach the stop button on the lift, and while in motion, she pushed it in, and the car slowly slid to a gradual stop. At that same time, their lips connected and he welcomed the beauty of her passionate kiss driving his tongue inside in a manner that only spoke of his need to show her how much he wanted to continue penetrating her. She reciprocated by putting her hands on his ass and pulling him into her waiting hips, his hands sliding down her arms, while he let his tongue slide out of her mouth, and upon her neck. He wanted to take time on her shoulders, feeling her gasps as he sensed her shoulders coming alive with the soft touch of his teasing lips, her hand now reaching the back of his head and fingertips wrapping in his hair as she pulled his head upon her aching skin. His hands met her hips and he gently moved her body, in a manner that said “I want your ass please’ and turned her around, she letting go of his head and letting her hands wrap around the rails feeling him pressing his erection along the side of her body as he moved her into place. While sliding his tongue along her neck his hands slowly pulled the silky fabric of her dress above her hips, and yes he discovered she was pantiless. Just as he began to slide his hand under her ass, she placed her fingertips around his wrist, to indicate a pause, and spoke …
~
RB– Of course she wasn’t wearing panties.  Her purse was only so big and after their last encounter, Alana wanted to be ready.  She was already heady from the way he entered the lift and took to her.  Tasting the sweetness of her lips, moving his fingers to make the pencil strap fall so he had full access to her naked shoulder.  Oh, she had dreamed of this moment, and it was every bit as good as her imagination had explored.  In the coffee shop, Alana had been bold in what she wanted and how she got it.  A public display and yet kept so discrete.  This was different.  No doubt the security guard was enjoying himself as he watched the events unfolding on his tiny screen.
In the lift, things were hotting up.  Alec had turned Alana around so that she was gripping the railing now with both hands.  The slight feeling of air was growing, as her dress started to raise when Alec picked at the hem and moved it slyly up her thigh and over her bare ass.  Alana caught her breath, and reached around to take his wrist.  They both paused for what was the longest few seconds till she said.
“Don’t hold back.  I want you to go as hard and fast as you can.”
Alana gave a little wiggle of her hips, then pressed her backside out invitingly towards him.  She slowly released his wrist, and instead reached up for her hair pin, which she slid out slowly, allowing her dark hair to cascade down in a torrent upon her back.  Alana purred with a throaty richness.  A light trickling was already going down the inside of her inner thigh.  She was aroused beyond measure, and wanted him to seize the day. Alana glanced over her shoulder and he saw the flash of lust in her eyes.

TA – This was all he needed as he listened to her words feeling his erection wanting to pop. He didn’t need her hands yet, this was the moment, the zip less fuck that he first experienced when reading Erica Jong’s ‘Fear of Flying‘ when he was a teenager. He reached his fingertips inside of her and spread her lips knowing her readiness, and unbuckled his slacks with his free hand while swallowing her shoulders, lost in her aroma … He slid his slacks down with his free hand and brought his wet fingertips up to his lips and dripped his saliva into the palm of his hand, reached the tip of his cock and an saturated it with the sweet gel of slide to make the entrance easy, grabbed his shaft and slid his dick underneath her ass, with fingertips guiding the head of his cock felt her lips and slowly slid the head inside guided by her gasps, pushed more, suddenly feeling her grip his cock and relishing in her strength. Now inside he placed his hands on the elevator wall, stepped away from her legs just a tad, while she grabbed onto the rails and let her breasts ease into the cold metallic of the wall. The only thing connecting them was the girth of his penis in her tight vagina, and he now slid slowly inside, and retreated, slowly inside and retreated, being careful to not touch any other skin. She reared her head back and her flowing her teased his chest while he continued to play with her anticipation, finally letting his lips fall back onto her shoulders, now beginning a more steady and necessary rhythm, her gasps turning to moans, her ass pushing against him with every thrust. He was going to cum, rather than fuck around with any affection. He now decided he was just going to slam her until he exploded. He wondered about how she was reacting inside at this point.
~
RB–  The cold of the metal wall seared her nipples to the point that they were taut beyond belief.  Her sweet mounds being pressed up hard to the elevator wall with each thrust.  Course, she let him take charge, holding her in such a way, that only his engorged cock was touching her.  It was doing more than touching though – drilling her slowly.  Teasing.  It was like he was torturing her to see how she would respond.  A small cry emitted from her lips, as she clearly wanted more than this.  Her ribbed insides squeezed and locked upon him each time, only to feel him withdraw from her slowly.  It was driving her insane, and she started to push back in a show of eagerness to please and be pleased.  Her own hair was now tickling her naked back, and it wasn’t until she felt the press of his lips on her skin that she let out a moan of aching need.  Alec had changed his rhythm to now being slightly faster.  Alana grit her teeth.  Between her thighs the ache was growing.  She could feel him thicken inside her and in her mind she could picture him behind her – ready to hunch over and hammer her wildly.  Suddenly, Alana wanted to make this last.  Not to have him simply explode in her, but change gears and have him experience her in ways she had only dreamed.  Hardly believing what she was about to do, she pulled forward so he would have left her body.  Turning sharply so that she now faced him, she licked her lips and whispered in a hoarse voice.
“I’m dying to taste you.”

At that moment she sank to her knees before him.  Luckily the bottom of the lift was carpeted.  Alana’s dress had now dropped to expose her breasts and she gazed up at him as she placed her hands behind her back.  Ripe red lips waiting for him to take her by the head.  She wanted to be his gift for Christmas.  At first she nudged his cock with her nose, then let it slide along her cheek.  Her tongue danced around the head teasing.  She knew that he could not resist such an invitation.  To take her head and then guide himself into her waiting mouth.  Her red lips parted as she slowly started to take him in…down to the back of her throat.

TA – Where did this woman come from he thought to himself as he put his hands on her the side of her head and just held on. She was doing all the work, he didn’t have to pump, he just let her tongue and lips drive him crazy. The way she took her tongue and ran it along the base of his cock and slowly crawled up to the head was delightful, and then when she with desire spent time sucking on the middle of his shaft, it was like she was designed for his cock alone. No one had ever caught the sensation of his cock in such a delicious manner. As she worked on his cock, he slowly took a couple of steps back so he could lean against the wall instead of falling on top of her as her prowess was causing his legs to turn to rubber. He hit the wall, and just submitted, feeling her lips now sliding him towards orgasm, her hand cupping his balls. He was about to explode, and looked down at her, and noticed her eyes looking for him as her mouth made deliberate slides on his cock. She gave him a nod with a smile, and went to town. As he began to anticipate his explosion he wondered about how she would handle it, I mean ‘Jesus Christ’ he said in a whisper they were in a public elevator. She focused on the head of his cock, knowing it was close, tasting his precum, and now stroked his cock feverishly feeling him grow more restless, his breath giving moan to each stroke of her hands. His hands on her head now he held on for dear life as he began to cum, expecting her to pull her head away but instead she stayed firmly attached – her mouth with phenomenal strength holding onto to every squire of cum releasing into her mouth. She tightened her lips around him and rode him to orgasm, waiting a couple of seconds to be sure, and then audibly swallowing, letting his cock free while she took her tongue and cleaned the shaft of his cock. He leaned back on the wall, and felt her lips begin to kiss his abdomen as she slowly rose lips now kissing his nipples, sliding upon his shoulders until he
felt her mouth reach his ear. She whispered, “Fuck the party, my car is down a couple of floors.” She let her dress down while he pulled up his slacks, lips pressed together while they readied themselves, and turned and pulled out the stop button …

RB–  Alana slyly raised a finger to the corner of her mouth, where there was just the hint of his jizz on her lips.  Skillfully she wiped it off then sucked her finger as she went to pull out the stop button and allow the lift to move once more.  Alana herself had yet to enjoy an orgasm with her newest lover, but that was going to happen.  Just not in the lift.  She still could taste Alec’s come in her mouth and she made a purr like sound at how good it tasted.  The door to the lift suddenly opened at the floor of her office and her boss was standing right there.  He looked shocked by Alana’s appearance, and least to say the man standing in behind her was one he had never seen before.

 “Alana…you’re late.”

“No, actually I just came up to wish you a Happy Christmas.  Sorry, something just came up.”  She giggled as she wiggled her fingers at her boss and then pressed the button for the car park.  The doors slid to a close with a very annoyed looking man left to explain Alana’s behavior to the rest of the staff.  That wasn’t exactly the kind of present he had wanted from her.  That….was going to Alec.  Turning around slightly as the lift started to descend back to where she had her car parked, Alana said  “I don’t live far.”
