Rise of the Horsemen – 1

We continue with the tales of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Elven:

A tiny hand laid in his, holding it as they both jumped from tile to tile in the rain on the streets of London.
This little light of mine Inanis sang, not caring about the few people there that glanced at him from under their umbrella’s, he had had one too, but had given it to the little girl beside him. Not that it mattered as she was already wet and the splashing didn’t help anyway. But she liked it, she laughed, and if it ever came to it he’d buy her new clothes anyway.
I’m going to let it shine She sang, jumping into the next puddle, splashing murky water all over his pants. She looked up at him with a devilish grin, and he gave her an overly fake shocked face before grinning back.
Hide it under a bushel? He half sang, half asked, while stepping into the next puddle, though it got more of him filthy than her.
NO! I’m going to let it shine! She got an angry look on her face when she adamantly said no, and he couldn’t help but laugh seeing her so worked up over the song. To put the deed to the words she stomped into the biggest puddle she could find, ruining her dress and shoes completely if they hadn’t been before.
Don’t let Satan put it out! It wasn’t as if he would ever put it out anyway, but she didn’t know that. Little lights weren’t his to put out nor light, instead he took all the little voids that hurt the lights.
I’m going to let it shine! “Satan won’t ever get my little light, it’s mine!” She let go of his hand and stepped in all the puddles she could find, and just at that point he got a phone call. For a little bit he let her avert her rage on the innocent puddle. The voice on the other end of the line was Bisur’s, and how she ever got a phone to work with those doggy paws of hers was a mystery to him. The only way he could think of was if she had a large tablet, but he realised that underestimating her ingenuity had cost many a man’s life. The news was bad though, another set of demons running rampant, this time somewhere in a barn in the middle of Nowhere, Alabama. “Erase their forms, throw the souls back for torture in the lower levels, whoever was their leader; degrade him to the lowest form of demon you can find, a squishy bugling or so. I’ll deal with the consequences later.” For some reason the demons had been particularly finicky lately, and honestly with the quality of souls he was getting keeping them in line was hard enough as it was. He somewhat envied God, having all those nice, clean souls. Perhaps that was what he needed, a really really good, loyal soul. But then again, who’d be loyal to Lucifer, the greatest betrayer ever apparently. Truth was, he had tried to take heaven any way he could, especially just after his fall, but lately he just couldn’t rationalize warring about it anymore. He’d made his own place in the world pretty decently without heaven, and honestly, where would the bad people go if not for Hell?
“Hey, Tiffany, let’s go look for your mommy one more time!” He said somewhat stern to the girl, having her stop jumping around in the puddles. There were too many people, and too few angels… and sometimes that led to lost little lights, who should’ve been guided by a guardian angel. Perhaps of all children she should’ve been the one most deserving of one, but some things took time to get rearranged and corrected. In the meantime, all he could do was take out the voids threatening her. He would get on it that same evening, and it was only by chance he found a lost light, most were never seen again until he saw them back as evil souls. Honestly all he had been planning on was taking her druggie parents, but now things had gotten infinitely more complicated. Lost or not, the rules of his banishment clearly stated that in no way he could influence good souls to become bad, and he tried to uphold that rule the best he could from his end, even if some demons were hard to contain and hold.
He knew where her mommy was… but it was not where she should be. She had dumped her dear little Tiffany in a toy store several hours ago so she could shoot up some heroin in an apartment, and she wouldn’t come to do her motherly duties for a few hours either.

Azure:

It was finally time for Michael to descend into the human world. The situation had gotten way out of hand and his subordinates weren’t enough. He had to enter the stage. He teleported himself in the area which demons were apparently the most active. As he arrived in the human world, in the split of a second, he could sense everything: the demons, the Horsemen, the humans in dismay, the angels which were starting to lose hope and his fallen brother, Lucifer.

A rather high number of demons was about to wreck havoc in the city where Michael teleported himself. The beasts already had some ‘fun’ and the humans in a certain neighbourhood were cornered. There were mostly elders, women and children. The men either fled and searched for a safe place, leaving their so-called loved ones behind, or they tried to fight the demons and got slaughtered. Only a few meters separated the demons from the defenseless humans, but Michael was not going to let them have their way. The archangel commander appeared in front of the demons, making them stop in their tracks. He was in his human form, wearing his celestial armor and a holy sword behind his back. He looked like he came from the old times and the whole scene seemed surreal.

The demons obviously felt the pressure of his presence, which is why they stopped in the first place. An archangel’s power was not for show, especially in Michael’s case. ”Return to Hell!” he demanded, on a resonating, but at the same time calm, tone. Even if those were demons, he would have rather not killed them. The beasts got angry. ”We don’t take orders from stinking angels!” said one of them. ”Don’t get so cocky just because you’re an archangel! Not even you can defeat all of us on your own!” said another one, and the others snorted in agreement. Michael sighed and pointed towards the sky. The demons looked up and what came from above was the last thing they saw. A gigantic ray of divine light came from the heavens and smited the tens of demons. ”It is quite unfortunate, but not even I am that patient when it comes to demons” he thought to himself.

Michael turned towards the humans and engulfed them in divine light, healing them, curing their diseases and making them calm down a little. A little girl with black, curly hair of medium length and green eyes, who was also holding a teddy bear, ran from her mother’s side and went near Michael. ”Are you God?” she asked, in awe. The archangel laughed and patted her on the head. ”No, but I am His will” he answered, smiling. A few other angels came where Michael was. ”Good timing. Please take these people to a safe place” he said, then he turned towards the humans and told them to listen to the angels.

After everyone was gone, Michael used telepathy to communicate with all the angels on Earth. ”Brothers and sisters, do not fear and do not be enchained by despair. We are all children of God and we are protected by His grace. We shall overcome this ordeal, as we stand for the Light! We will be victorious!” he said.

Leggo:

I intend to…Brother.”

Death of course showed no emotion, but the chill in the air only increased when Pestilence sasses her as he did. It was originally fated that she would claim the lives of a chosen few, and move on. But now it seemed that her task would be much longer drawn out than it seemed. However, she could forgive the other horsemen, his disease was hard to control and so it was not unforgivable that he would cause more death today than planned, but she would keep watch on her brother closely.

For now, there was work to be done, and even Death knew that this soup would be the hardest to reap…

Taking leave if the waiting room, Death made her way through the corridors of the offices and patients surrounding Doctors and Nurses begging for help, until she came across the room at the end of the long hall, where the mother that had previously been called sat with her child, holding the ill infant daughter in her arms as she cooed softly. The baby however cried nonstop, it’s forehead hot as fire with the fever, and in so much pain from the illness thrust upon it. Death silently watched the mother beg and plead with the child to hush it’s crying, and even she had to turn her eyes away from the scene. Even for her, this was going to be painful, the child could’ve lived a long life, found love and died happily in the end….

But it was not to be.

The silver eyed horsemen steadied herself and stepped forward, stopping just in front of the mother who now held her head in her hand, looking away from the crying baby in frustration and exhaustion, she only wanted her baby to be better. And soon she would be. Death leaned over the child, who still screamed it’s lungs out in sickness and anger, and opened its little eyes to gaze up at the angel of death before her.

It’s okay little one…the Angels will take good care of you.”

She promised, and closed those silver eyes and placed a cold chilling kiss upon the infants head, and the crying and screaming ceased at once. It’s eyes were closed, and it’s skinned grew colder as the moments passed. It wasn’t long before the mother noticed the silence and turned to check the her baby. Death was already out of the door and into the corridor again when she heard the blood curdling scream if agony from the mother, and she closed her eyes with a sigh. It was her job…the baby suffered no more and would be taken care of up above…she was sure of it.

It was then that Death sensed another presence on the Earth…two exactly. One completely divine, and one completely wicked. The two brothers, Michael and Lucifer walked the Earth. It was then, for the first time in a a very long time, that Death cracked a grin. It was time then. The next moment, she vanished from the hospital, her reapers could finish the job. For now, it was time to greet the arch angel.

Shadow:

Alora’s jaw muscles tightened as she tried to conceal her frustration. She knew she was no match for this being, but she couldn’t just leave him here to ruin whatever he wanted. She glanced down at the dying grass around his feet and stepped back unconsciously. She frowned, angry at herself for being such a coward.
“You know, you could just leave. Everything here is already dying, so why do you have to make it worse? And I’m not afraid of you and your ‘warnings.’ “
She said, feeling the need to let him know that she wasn’t scared. Suddenly she heard Michael’s voice in her head and stood up a little straighter thanks to his rallying words. She spread her wings again and folded her arms across her chest, subtly mimicking the Horseman. “You may be more powerful than me but if you know what is good for you, you will leave at once. There has already been enough death in this place.”

Axel:

“I do not do this intentionally. It is only how I am, as long as I am around things will either and die. Whether anyone likes it or not.” He stated firmly. Keeping his emotions in check as he stared down the angel. “There is nothing anyone can do to stop me either. I will drain all of life for as long as I am in this world.”
A shiver ran down his spin as he suddenly sensed something far away. One wicked, one divine. His attention broke from the angel to stare off into the distance. “Is it nearing the time already? This is most exciting.” He muttered to himself. “Try as you might to stop this angel, but there is nothing you can do alone. It is best you follow orders like a good little servant of him and hope for whatever outcome you wish to befall humanity.”

Diamond:

War stopped. He swore someone shouted his name. He wouldn’t normally give a damn, but something about the call, it’s demonic nature, made him feel compelled to stop in his tracks. The voice was one he recognized, but he wasn’t sure why. Was it that of an important demon? It had to be, but which one? It couldn’t be Lucifer… War decided to seek out this powerful voice. The Horseman turned around and began making his way through the now blood soaked streets. He was drawn to this voice.

War picked his way through the chaos as the war he had started in the seedy part of town. War found himself walking down a street directly towards a motel. Outside the motel was a woman, no, not a woman, a demon. A specific demon, one War felt he should know. The name Eve came to mind, but that was wrong. War walked closer. It was clear to him that this demon had power. Another name came to mind:

“Lilith,” said the horseman, still in human form, as he approached the female, “Your name is Lilith.” War looked her up and down. He felt like he was going to feel some sort of wrath for approaching the demoness, “The first wife of Adam. Interesting. As you know, I am War.”

Then it hit War. He was here, no, they were here. “I’m sure you have some thing to say to me, but something important is happening… It appears Michael and Lucifer are out and about,” War looked Lilith directly in the eyes. He held out his hand, “Care to go on a ride with me? Or you could punch me and I can leave. Up to you really.”

Eve:

“Yes they are here. Who else but those two emanate that ridiculous amount of ying-yang D-day power, yet can cross in one piece into this plan of existence?” Lilith grumbled more of a statement then a question. She hated Micheal and though she had respect for Lucifer his opinion on the equality of the sexes could do with some evening out in her humble opinion. Raising a brow at him she watched as he extended his hand to her and crossed her arms as she glared up at him,

“If punching you is all the revenge I get for you ruining my playground then I suppose there is no point in even wasting my energy on it.” She replied keeping her arms crossed her blood red lips snarling up at him. She hated being told what to do, and even with the options offered she knew she really had no choice as thanks to him all her local food sources were quickly killing each other all around her.

“Keep your horse.” She said with a sigh and snapped out her wings ripping right through the back of her jacket.

“Just lead the way.” She finished her large wings pushing her off the ground and up so she was at least a good four feet above the Horseman.

Azure:

After giving his motivational speech, Michael started moving around. He was searching for Death. If he wanted to end this madness as soon as possible, he needed to find Death and convince her to cooperate, in one way or another. He didn’t know how, but he had to try. For the sake of humanity, one of God’s dearest creations.

While searching for Death, Michael desintegrated whatever lesser demon he saw or felt close by, using divine light. The Pale Horseman wasn’t the type of entity he could simply detect. If Death didn’t want to be detected, then even Michael would have a hard time.

At a certain point the archangel stopped teleporting, or running. He streightened his back and shouted: ”Death, I wish to speak with you!”. His shout was on a frequency which no mortal could perceive, not even with tools. Michael then stood still and awaited her. Meanwhile, a few demons were lurking around, waiting to take Michael down with a sneak attack. ”Do you demons honestly belive I can’t detect you?” he asked them, calmly. The beasts were surprised. They clearly underestimated the archangel. They were not stupid though. They were around 30, but they knew that they weren’t strong enough to face an archangel in a direct confrontation, so they attempted to flee. ”I stand for the Light!” said Michael, while pointing upwards. Many rays of light came from the sky and smited the demons. Michael continued to wait for Death.

Leggo:

The best way to call Death is cause death you know.”

If one could ever detect humor in the horseman’s voice, it would’ve been in that moment. With that voice came the usual chill in the air and the appearance of the petite pale woman standing behind the arch angel as he killed the demons before her. Since of course they were creatures Lucifer created and birthed and they come from Hell they did not have souls that she claimed, so simply to appearance of death was enough to cause her appearance…that and she had been searching out Michael for herself. Death stood there in silence after she spoke, silver eyes searching over the angel as she awaited his big speech on how she should spare the human race.

Ha!

It was almost enough to make her grin again. Both Michael and lucifer both would try their damnedest to get her to sway towards their opinions and wishes, but it’d be in vain. However, she’s let the arch angel speak his piece, even Death needed some entertainment now and again.

I don’t have much patience angel. Speak.”

Shadow:

Well then, maybe you should leave. Go to the desert or something of that nature. I’m sure you would love it there.”
Alora said, beginning to lose her patience. Usually she would be perfectly fine debating all day with someone, but the growing patch of dead grass around the man was making her a bit nervous. She stepped back again but continued her defiant stance. She frowned slightly as she caught the last part of what he mumbled to himself. Anything that excited this dangerous man probably wasn’t going to be good. She tried to keep from replying to his last comment but the words just flew right out.
“I’m not alone and I’m not simply a ‘good little servant following orders.’ And if you think for one moment that you will win, then you are horribly mistaken. We will not stop fighting until the last of us is dead and we have powers you can only dream of. Now, thanks to you, I am feeling angry. So in all honesty, if you want to leave fully intact, you should leave now.”

Axel:

“I would be purposeless in such a place…And I would prefer to have a reason to live than wander aimlessly and wonder for what reason I existed. It’s more…comforting, Even for a being like me.” He sighed. Turning his gaze back to her.
“And I am sorry if I angered you too much. I did not intend on sounding insulting. It may be surprising to you, but I have yet to choose a side. I am seeing how things play out before I decide. So it is even possible that we may end up allies.” His arms dropped to his sides as she became more threatening. “Go ahead and attack me if you wish. It would only leave us both weakened for a while. I highly doubt you want that.”

Scythe:

Gabriel sighed as he held the throat of yet another demon, glancing bored at his nails while the vile thing squirmed in his grasp, struggling to escape. “W-who are you?” It hissed. “No human is this strong!” Gabriel finally glanced up from his nails and smiled sweetly at the thing. “Who ever said I was human?” He asked, before swiftly ending the creature’s life. “Bye bye, buddy.”

Gabriel walked away from the lifeless body that dropped to the ground, slumped over. The eyes looked like they’d been burned out and black whisps of smoke rose out the mouth.”Disgusting things. Lucie had always been more classy. Wonder what happened…” Gabriel let his thoughts wander as he walked out the now deserted ally way he’d allowed himself to be backed up into and looked up at the sun, eyes thoughtful. Strange things were going on. He didn’t know what it was, however. He’d been out of the loop in Angelic and Demonic news for centuries. Usually it was a good thing but now, Gabriel felt he really need to know what was happening.

A sudden chill ran up Gabriel’s spine, causing him to shiver. Normally, he’d think none of it but it was a relatively warm day. There wasn’t much wind and the sun was pleasantly warm. He looked around, scanning the people who were around him before finally spotting a very suspicious looking person. From that distance, he could still see her amazingly blue eyes and unnaturally pale skin. Gabriel had his suspicions about who it was but he prayed to his Father that he was wrong. If Death was here, the others wouldn’t be too far behind

Razor:

You could never say that Pestilence was the sociable type. Sure, he liked to get into a crowd to blend in, simply to be able to spread his deadly diseases with the slightest brush of his hand, or even just by coughing without covering his mouth. A loner by most accounts, who was usually followed up by Death -as his deeds would lead to the need for the blue eyed bitch. Death had a coolness about her, though he found that hidden beneath that pale exterior was someone that did have a little compassion. It made them both like night and day, and while she may not find favor in his activities, she had to admit, it kept her busy.

Having ambled out of the hospital with red shiny marks around his eyes and nose, he found his way over to his beaten up Ford in the parking lot. A real crap piece of automobile history, with its noxious fumes, that filled the air. The interior was like a rubbish dump. Flies and other insects making their homes within discarded meal boxes and cartons that lay strewn in the back and the passenger side. Fumbling for his keys, he unlocked the car door, reefing it open and then sliding in behind the wheel. For a good minute or two, he just sat there as though trying to decide just where to head to next, to continue this terrible spree of spreading sickness. A movie theater perhaps. There was nothing quite like a captive audience. Pestilence started up the engine, that spluttered angrily into life. The tail pipes releasing large black clouds of carbon monoxide – the car had to be a diesel, for it smelt foul. That was part of why the horseman loved it so. It was foul and disgusting and a danger to the environment, like him.

Cruising out of the parking lot, and nearly hitting a poor pregnant lady being pushed in a wheelchair across a zebra crossing, Pestilence turned up the radio and it cranked out a heavy metal hit, as he took to the main road of the city. A bobble head of Lucifer, of all things was bobbing its head in time to the music, which made the ride more enjoyable. Pestilence was never really a fan of Lucifer….or the other winged weirdos. To him, his business was efficient, and in times a good way to lower the world population, which was way too big to the resources of the planet. In his mind, they should celebrate Pestilence, for his deeds. A ticket tape parade possibly. Another chance to spread his spores of death.

Driving down the road, he then spotted Death walking along the side of the footpath. Where was her steed? Pulling over to cruise along where she walked, he sung out.

“Walking the streets, Death? Didn’t I give you enough to do already?” You could see the flies buzzing around Pestilence, and smell the foulness of his car. He really was gross.

Rise of the Horsemen.

Then I saw when the Lamb broke one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder, “Come.” I looked, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.

Pestilence: Obviously has power over disease. Whomever this horseman touches will immediately become ill or it will take effect over time. Anyone can become ill by this horseman, even demons and angels including Lucifer.

When He broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come.” And another, a red horse, went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from the earth, and that men would slay one another; and a great sword was given to him.

War: This horseman’s strength is almost unbeatable. This horseman can cause a battle between even the best of friends. If decided to, War can turn any emotions to anger and is the second hardest horseman to battle.

When He broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, “Come.” I looked, and behold, a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard something like a voice in the center of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; but do not damage the oil and the wine.”

Famine: Will cause starvation and drought. In any area where Famine is present, no crops will grow and any lake or pond will dry up within a time. You will notice the people in the area have suddenly become thinner and weaker, and this horseman has the power to consume any living creature, sucking them dry until they are weak with Famine.

When the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come.” I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth.

Death: The final horseman, Death is the deadly combination of all the horseman and holds the fate of everything living in its hands. This is the one horseman that you cannot escape, for Death is everywhere and will always catch you. The single touch of Death is enough to stop the heart, and if Death were to touch an angel or demon then they would not die necessarily, but they will be wounded. This is the strongest horseman, and will ultimately decide if the end is fated to come or not.

******************************************************************************************************************************************************

The time has come
As predicted, the Apocalypse is upon us at last. A traitor has broken the seven seals and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse have been released and now walk this Earth among us. Only the forces of the pure and mighty are able to fight this new threat. God has sent his angels to protect his children from the wicked intentions of his once beloved son Lucifer, to keep him from causing the deaths and extinctions of the humans race.
Which side shall you be on? Will you protect God’s creatures, and fight the demons who dare interfere with life and change Fate, or will you be on the side of Lucifer, and fight for the death of every human being who walks this Earth. The fight has begun…
Leggo:

Hush my child…it’ll be over soon…”

The calm voice swept over the dying woman, wrapping her in a blanket of icy air as she lay there, dying in the street. Her blood was soaking the ground, her side nearly ripped open and glass shards inside the wound and on the ground beside her. She had been in an awful car wreck, thrown from her vehicle through the windshield and now she lay in a puddle of her own blood, grasping for life and gasping for every breath she could possibly take. But the icy voice that had sounded…was that just her imagination, or a hallucination? It had not been, it hadn’t been either.

Soon a petite figure hovered over the dying woman, a pale icy hand reached out and smoothed a stray hair from the woman’s face, and she understood now that she lay there, staring into the face of Death. The woman who stood above her with that calming voice and soft touch had such a gentle expression on her pale face. Her eyes glowed a beautiful bright silver, her pure white hair whipped around her as the icy wind continued to blow, not that the woman felt it. This woman…she looked so calm and peaceful, when would she feel that way again. The hand that pushed the hair out of her face now hovered just above her cheek, and Death spoke again.

“You will be at peace now Sarah, just close your eyes and let me embrace you.”

The woman did as she was told, and a peaceful smile graced her blue lips as she finally closed her eyes, and the moment she did, Death placed her icy hand to her cheek, and Sarah Humphrey’s suffering had ended. The corpse now lay there, a frozen calm smile on its face, and Death reached out and caressed her features once more before standing and walking away from the body. Sarah had been fated to die that day, as had many others. Morana, as she would be called in this human state, would be visiting many more that night as their fates caught up to them. Many would fight it, much like Sarah had, but no one can ever run from Death.

She left the scene, hearing sirens and ambulances rushing to the scene, but it was far too late. Sarah had been claimed already, and so would many others. She knew that the end was near…and she would reap every soul that was fated to die on that fateful day. Being the bringer of demise, Death had no choice but to end the lives of the many…but she too feared that the end would bring so much more. Fate was such a gentle and delicate timeline, and those who tried cheating their destiny would meet death sooner than they ever expected.

The pale horseman looked back, those glowing silver eyes surveying the area, before she turned, another icy wind roared through, and she vanished without a trace, moving on to reap the next poor soul doomed to be touched by her icy hand..

Axel:

“What is even the point of this young one? The ones before you have failed and so shall you.” The young, sickly thin man spoke coolly as he watch the challenger before him grow weaker and weaker. The ground they stood on had already withered and dried completely. Nothing but dust in the wind was left.

“Ever since you set foot in this town it has been nothing but misery! Our crops are gone and the cattle have been dropping like flies! It must end!” The poor soul glared at him, but Famine remained completely glacial and unmoving. Which only seemed to cause more anger and frustration to rise within them.

Why were they always like this? He could not help what he was or what he did nor could he control it even if he wished to do so. “I suggest you turn away and forget this now, leave if you wish. While there is still some bit of life left in you.” He was trying so hard to be reasonable, but to no avail. The challenger lunged forward, pure determination in their eyes. Until their blade passed straight through his cloak and the void rib cage below. All that remained then was utter horror as they realized what he was and as they watched their body quickly begin to shrivel up to the appearance of a mummified corpse. They looked to him as if he would know how to reverse this, but nothing.

“P…please…just leave us…I…I will give you anything at all if you want, but please just leave.” They croaked out as their body shriveled up further. Regret and fear filling their eyes.
Famine stared down at them expressionless. “Alright.” Without another word he turned on his heel and walked away. If only they had headed his warnings they would not have to suffer in this sorry state. Drained of energy and dying, they could have escaped and at least found another place to live until they met another fate. The were such a foolish kind.

TGWS:

Ipios flew in the city outskirts, somewhere he knew he would be out of sight of humans. He always enjoyed flying, few angels knew the gift it was to be able to fly and appreciate it thinking it as a right and taking it for granted. He remembered how he once tried to pass on that philosophy while teaching them to fly and wondered if they truly grasped that lesson, he sighed he would never find out from either of them now,, or see them for that matter.

He groaned the flight was meant to calm him, trying to get his mind out of what he had done but it was failing. Maybe it was what he deserved, he was expecting too much to think that he deserved any peace. He sighed as he flew back into town, finding a quite corner to change into his human form without being seen. Once done he walked the streets of the city aimlessly. Once a proud soldier of Heaven’s army, now a vagrant among humans who didn’t care about him and unaware of what was to come. He still had to protect them though, soldier or no, if not for what he believed in to spite the powers that be in hell and thin the horde. The deserved it of what they made him do.

Razor:

In the midst of a hospital emergency ward, few people ever really stood out. All that were waiting to be seen had some affliction, or a wound that needed treating. Some of the people waiting to be seen had been there for hours. Staffing cuts and changes in budget allowances meant that this once proud establishment, to heal the sick – was running on a shoe string and barely able to hold it altogether. The solitary nurse that was behind a laminated screen looked at though she had been working a double shift. There were noticeable bags under her eyes. She could keep drinking coffee in order to stay awake, but it would do her little good. The steady drone of the waiting room television and the cry of a sick baby in the arms of impatient mother melded together to create a sick lullaby. Some patients were actually asleep sitting up, having been there so long. Few people from this end of town had the money for private health cover, and so they had to resort to being treated like dying cattle awaiting to be herded onto a ship. The walls of the waiting room were a sad grey color – in some parts flaking off. A door to one of the consultation room finally opened, and a tired looking doctor with disheveled hair, sung out the next number in turn.

“Number 156….1..5..6”

The woman who had been holding the crying infant lifted her head and you could see the wave of relief on her face as she struggled to get up. Holding her baby with one arm, and trying to pick up her nappy bag with the other. All the other patients were either happy to see the back of the crying bub, or disappointed that it was not their turn. As she shuffled past the row of the sick, the doors to the emergency waiting room opened, and a shabbily dressed man ambled in. On his finger was a strange looking ring that bore an emerald colored stone. The jewel stood out, because it almost shone in the dull UV light of the waiting room. The man came to a stop, and looked over the hundred or so patients that were all waiting for their turn to see the Doctor. To some this scene might be terribly depressing. From the color of the room, to the sad re run on the antiquated television set on the wall. The stack of magazines on a side table looked like they were from the seventies. At some point in the Hospital’s history, this would have been a state of the art facility. Now, it was like the waiting room to Hell itself.

Pestilence couldn’t be happier.

Making his way over to the nurse’s station, he leaned on the counter with a droplet of saliva hanging from his bottom lip. The nurse looked up at him as though to look through him. She slapped down a clipboard, that had a pen attached. “Fill this out…and then bring it back. Waiting time is about two hours minimum.” She wasn’t about to offer excuses, or apologies for the long wait. Anyone with a brain could see why. Understaffed and underfunded. “Welcome to America” Pestilence’s head drooped as he reached for the clipboard, but not before two droplets of his saliva dripped onto the counter. Walking away to take a seat with the other sickly beings, he didn’t bother to look back to see if the nurse had cleaned the bench. He already knew by the look of her, she was beyond caring about hygiene. All she wanted was to go home to her one bedroom apartment and sleep.

Sitting down next to a young man that was nursing what looked to be a dislocated elbow, Pestilence took up the pen, and then licked the end of it – kind of like you would a pencil. Some people had such strange habits. The young man happened to look at Pestilence before uttering. “You’ll die here of boredom before anyone is going to look at you, Man” He had already been there for well over three hours. Instead of acting annoyed by this man’s statement, he actually smiled. “Oh, I don’t think so…in fact I am going to enjoy my time here.” Pestilence dropped the pen on the floor, only for another lady to pick it up and hand it to him. “You dropped this, Sir.”

Coughing, without covering his mouth: Pestilence took back the saliva covered pen and then twirled it between his fingers, sending a small spray of droplets through the air. It was all so easy. The old air conditioning system, along with the antiquated fans pushing around the air would soon spread his vile bacteria unseen to the many that were waiting to get medical help. You could say that Pestilence was doing them all a service, both staff and patients alike…….for soon there would be no more waiting. Death would become them all.

Shadow:

Smoke rose high in the air above what was left of a two-story farmhouse. A small distance away, one could see several out-buildings and barns burning as well. A lone rooster could be heard crowing somewhere not far away. Horses, cattle, sheep and chickens were scattered around the fields, laying down like they were sleeping. Of course, everyone knows that horses don’t sleep laying down and there was something off about the position the sheep were in. If you went closer, you would see a gaping hole burned into all of the livestocks’ sides. No one alive seemed to be nearby. The only movement to be seen was the rooster and the flames that were beginning to devour the dried grass. Suddenly, a figure in white flew down towards the house and landed softly near a man who was laying on the ground.

Alora sighed heavily as she went over and knelt by the farmer. He had a hole in his side that looked the same as the animals’ and he seemed to be gasping his last few breaths. She placed her hand on his forehead and closed her eyes, trying to see if there was anything she could to do save him. However, the only thing she could do for him was to reduce his pain slightly. Realizing there was nothing more she could do, she moved on to the farmer’s wife. She was laying not far from the house with the same wound as basically everyone and everything else on the farm. Alora tried to save the woman, but she was inches from death, like her husband. Alora ground her teeth in frustration as she moved away from the woman.

The thing that made her the most angry was that she had failed to avenge these people. She had tracked the demons that had done this for a long time, but something had covered their trail. She closed her eyes and tried to ignore the strong smell of smoke and death. She couldn’t believe any angel could do this, no matter how far they may have fallen. The fact that her father was now among them was unbearable. Who would kill animals just because they were there? And, she knew that there were three children in the burned and destroyed farmhouse. The only thing she could hope for was that the family would all go to Heaven together. She would have to ask Michael if he knew, the next time she saw him. She spread her wings and flew up to the clouds, needing a little time to forget what she had just seen. Those demons would pay for what they did and she would make sure of that.

Leggo:

It was just as Pestilence had predicted, for when disease manages to spread it’s filthy way across the world, it isn’t too long before Death makes an appearance nearby. In fact, the entire waiting room which had to have already been chilly in the first place became so cold so suddenly. If anyone in that room could be bothered, all they would have to do is blow out a strong breath and no doubt it would’ve formed a small cloud thanks to the new chill in the air. Not long after the chill took place, the door opened and a figure made it’s way casually towards the desk, hair whipping around her body slowly and her stride never faltered even once as she seemed to glide to the nurse’s station. Though no one looked up at the strange newcomer, perhaps because no one could see her, except of course her brother if he so wished.

Death had come on official business, and there was no reason to allow the humans to see their fate right at that moment, some of the anyway. It was rare that the horsemen ever allowed herself to be seen by the humans, except in certain instances much like with the young woman who had passed earlier that night. It was to put them at ease, it always seemed to calm them much more, perhaps gave them more of a sense of acceptance with their death with they looked into the face of their fate.

Her visit to the hospital however, would seem as though it’d take much longer that originally planned. You see, originally Death had only a few souls to reap that night from this dingy hole of a hospital, but now that Pestilence had been spreading his diseases around the place, it wouldn’t be too long before she would be back and claiming more lives at the expense. In fact, Death paused in her stride, and those bright silver eyes lowered to her brother and spoke quietly, the area around her growing much colder as she spoke to the other horsemen.

Continue spreading such as this Pestilence, and their demise will come too soon.”

Elven:
Lucifer walked the empty city side streets, or well, Inanis as he was called now. This form was by far his favourite, it felt right, but he knew that would change. Within a while he’d find a new form, like he’d always done. Sometimes a young girl, other times an old man, always with a different name, never with a different purpose. The only things that truly changed were the societies of humans, and while dwindling through the alleys he smiled back at the time when people were still truly afraid of him, his job had been easier then. Was it because there were less people to manage then, or because they still had this fear of God paddled into them…
A man passed him by, giving the boy an odd look. In the passing he mumbled about ‘damn disrespecting youths’. The boy looked back, not particularly afraid, more out of curiosity. In the end the man walked on, to the end of the street where a few people seemed to wait for him. Quietly Ina closed his eyes and put his hands in his pocket, then started half singing half talking to the tune of the old folk song Scarborough fair.
Are you going to scarborough fair?

The men talked for a bit, thinking he couldn’t hear them. “Do you think he has some of those fancy electronics on him?” of course he had, he had never been one to stray away from human innovation, as the devil he had to be open to new ways of torture of course. “I think so, those clothes look expensive too.” That was a half truth, they were no where near true expensive, but they weren’t on the cheap side either. He had to watch his appearance after all. “He’ll be an easy target boys, just go for it.”
Parsley, sage rosemary and thyme
The song had little to do with his situation, and he could’ve chosen any. That was how little he cared about those men, he wouldn’t even try to find a fitting song. Footsteps moving his way, of course they didn’t think he’d notice. But that was why he was here wasn’t it? And they took it, hook line and sinker.
Remember me to one who lives there
He continued his song, and now the thugs heard too. Why is he singing? Is he insane? Doesn’t matter, we just beat and rob him anyway. They would’ve… like they did to all those before, Paul, Jasmine, Hashim, Gerrit… and many more names had passed him by. Why he picked this one up, he didn’t really know, it just interested him. Hell got boring so quick, but the glance on the face of people who stared into the eyes of the devil and showed that kind of guilty fear only the sinners knew… now that got him worked up. They were worked up too though, three men, and soon they’d be dead. He wouldn’t mind seeing Death again though, she had this way of handling things that he could appreciate.
She once was a true love of mine

“What are you singing boy, how about you give me some money instead?” Two men grabbed his arms and forced him on his knees. The third one took out a gun and held it to his head. It was a real one too, with several people on it’s name. The iron against his forehead felt cold and nearly sad that he had been used for such atrocities.
“Don’t worry now… it’ll be fine.”
“You talking to yourself now boy? You really nuts aren’t ya? Going to ask it friendly one more time. Give us your money.” The man seemed finicky, like he didn’t want to kill another. The man had never wanted to kill, it was just situational, but that plea was reduced by the fact that all those situations had been created by him himself. All those murders were on his name, and his buddies there.
“Are you scared Mr. Porter? I am not going to give you money, but I will give you a little thing to think about… little Tracy never was a true love of yours.” A grin crept up on his face, showing his now pointy canines, and the last thing the man would ever see in life were those blood red eyes telling him the only truth he ever cared about. All his life was pointless, in fact, the world would’ve been better off without him there in the first place.Ina stared at the men, laying bloody on the wet ground. He had returned to his normal form, he didn’t like being in the other one too often. As much as he liked the face of sinners seeing his true intentions in their last moments, all the innocent and good people getting afraid of him only made him uncomfortable, as odd as that sounded. They were out of his league, out of reach, they belonged to an entirely different realm altogether, where there was light and warmth and kindness of heart. If his ‘work’ helped that realm exist then he would gladly bear it, that didn’t make him good or bad or anything inbetween, simply a necessary evil.
And tell her to make me a cambric shirt…
Now what punishments would he bestow those three?
Razor:

Pestilence’s eyes were rimmed with a redness that spread to his nose. Like the skin was aflame beneath the surface. You’d easily think that he was suffering from a flu virus, or perhaps a very nasty cold, when in fact this was his happy face. Unlike others, his way of causing such destruction was by the most subtle and unseen gestures. Humans really were the easiest marks. And what better place to spread disease, than to do it in a hospital. This is where many had such low immunity that they were in fact sitting ducks all lined up in a row. The Horseman of Disease fitted into this setting with relative ease. And just as he had predicted….Death did arrive, though it was earlier than she had anticipated. Oh yes, he saw her when no one else could. That was the beauty of her nature. Only exposing herself at just the right moment. For now, it would appear that Pestilence was speaking to himself. Hallucinating from his illness.

Continue spreading such as this Pestilence, and their demise will come too soon.” Was Death upset that Pestilence had just given her a larger work load? Taking out his dirty linen kerchief, he sneezed into it so loudly that it startled the man he was sitting next too. “Bless you.” Ugh, the Horseman shot the man a look of disgust. What was with people saying “bless you”…? Oh yes, those that remembered the Great plague. Now that…was a work of art. The Black Death. A third of Europe’s population was wiped out and Death was kept busy for the seven years between 1346 and 1353. Pestilence was capable of great acts of destruction against the living. He had truly been in his element back then..

Instead of being thankful, Pestilence pocketed his kerchief and then used placed his hand on the man’s shoulder to help himself rise to standing – only spreading more of his germs. Think of it as a parting gift. Turning away from the cursed waiting room, he went back to the nurse’s station, where the night shift nurse was looking a little…green. Pestilence tossed back the clip board with the slime covered pen.

“I never was one for waiting around.” The board clattered onto the counter, whilst the nurse picked up the pen and shook her head at the Horseman.

Now he was ready to face Death with a smirk. “Oh Sister…I saved time. Why, the morgue is just down stairs.” Meaning that those that died in the hospital were probably going to end up here anyways. Slowly he ambled out of the waiting room, not caring to see his effectiveness. It was more the fact that he knew that all that had been in that small room with him, were on borrowed time.

“Feel free to try and keep tabs on me, Sis.” Was that a challenge?

Axel:

“Hrmm…” Famine looked at the devastation all around as his horse trotted forward. Beasts of burden all around with holes burned into their sides. It was nothing but death and choking smoke from a farmhouse engulfed in flames. Truly a tragic sight, but nothing that could be helped. It was not like they could control the demons. “Well this is no fun…it appears as though some demons have gotten to this area already.” He spoke calmly to his steed. Patting it as he hopped down to get a better look.

Closer to the farmhouse a man and woman lie dying slowly and painfully. The must have been the owners of this place. What a pity, the weak creatures stood no chance at all. He grimaced as one reached out to him and swiftly moved his foot out of the way. They groaned and looked up at him in despair, as if he could do something. “I would not do that if I were you unless you wish to suffer more before you die…just lie there and enjoy whatever moments you have left..Death will be here soon enough.” He narrowed his eyes as they reached out for him again.

“Fools..” He scoffed. Taking a spear from the back of his steed and using it to drag the sorry human over to his wife. A more peaceful look appeared on their faces. “Do not look at me like that. This is not an act of mercy. It is only a small payment for whatever life you have left on this farm. I intend to take what’s left, until it becomes as desolate as the great deserts.” He flipped his cloak up as he turned sharply towards the barn.

Shadow:

Alora flew in circles over the farm for a while, watching the smoke billow up into the air. She didn’t know why she was staying here, in this depressing place. After all, there was nothing else she could do for the farmer or his wife. Maybe part of her hoped someone would come along that could save them. Then again, the other part of her imagined that her presence was soothing to the couple in their last moments. Neither of these fantasies were likely to be true, but it made her feel a tiny bit better.

Suddenly her thoughts were disrupted by the presence of something rather dark and disturbing. She made a quick dive towards the ground as she saw a figure moving the farmer’s body. She landed quickly, lacking her usually elegance as she hurried over to where the figure was.
What do you think you are doing? Stop touching them, you foul beast!”
She cried, moving between the figure and the bodies with her wings flared. She didn’t know who the young man was or why he felt so different from a normal human, but she didn’t want anyone near the dying couple. She glanced back at the humans, wondering what he had done to them. To her surprise, they both looked more peaceful as they held each other’s hands. She turned back to the young man, trying to hide her surprise and slight embarrassment. She slowly tucked her wings against her back again, attempting a more calm appearance.
Who are you?”

Axel:
Famine was startled by the appearance of another being. He hadn’t expected or sense anything else of significance around this area. So much so that he had to force a calm expression on his face as he swiveled around to see them….great. An angel, just what he needed to show up.. “No need to make such a fuss. There is not much more I can do here anyway..everything is dead or close to it so I hardly have any reason to stick around too long.” He crossed his arms over his chest as he stared at her coldly, the metal of his armor clanking against his ribs. “And I suggest the same of you unless you wish to meet a similar fate…and this is not a threat, but a warning, angel.” He made a slight motion to the shriveling plants and creatures at his feet. “I can assure you that it is far less pleasant than death…”

Diamond:

War walked down a street, a rather unsavory street at that. There were several humans dressed in what War understood was gang attire. All of the people seemed to be clad in the same color, which, as War had been told, meant that they all affiliated with one another. That meant they weren’t keen on fighting, which meant War was unhappy. War let his presence seep into the minds of the thugs on their porches. The gangsters began getting up, drawing their weapons, shouting at each other.

A smile tugged at War’s lips as a shot rang out. The two sides of the street erupted into gang warfare, bathing the street in the blood of the disgusting humans that lived there. War went on his merry way, enjoying the chaos he had caused. He was sure his sister would enjoy his handiwork. Still, something felt slightly wrong. War felt like he wasn’t quite doing his job. He wasn’t fighting, he wasn’t in the thick of the fighting. War wasn’t waging his namesake, he was merely causing skirmishes between small time factions.

War needed to cause something major, or he needed to get the war between Angels and Demons into full swing. Either worked for the Second Horseman. Until he could enact his plan, War walked down a now lonely road.

Evelien:

Lilith was in a dank little motel room in the middle of a gang ridden town with two humans, boyfriend and his beat up girlfriend. She had heard fighting in it as she walked past it from her last meal and decided to see what the matter was. Breaking the pathetic excuse for a door down she walked in only to see a shocked young man holding a bloodied motel lamp with a younger female on the ground crying, the blood coming from her head wound matching the dark dirty red carpeting.

“How dare you?!” Lilith exploded immediately her eyes turning black in the blink of an eye. She didn’t even for another of the ridiculous excuse for a man’s heart to beat once more before she was on top of him. He dropped the lamp as she attacked him her nails pierce the soft flesh of his abdomen like a hot knife through butter.

“You men are so stupid, thinking you are just god’s gift to women?!” She demanded but the poor man was too busy screaming in utter pain as she was gutting him, to even notice her speaking. How rude.

“Well guess what?” She smiled evilly showing him his insides.

“Now you’re the Devil’s gift for me!” She laughed manically as she emptied his abdominal cavity onto the cheap cockroach invested bed. Laughing with dark satisfaction she licked her hands clean and turned around. To her disappointment the woman was gone.

“What, no thank you?” She muttered walking out of the room and looking for where she went when she suddenly heard guns shots, and lots of them. Yelling, screaming and crashes began coming from everywhere.

“Hey!” She yelled suddenly as an explosion suddenly blew through the hall way she was in. “Holy Hell!” She bark ducking away and wondering what on earth was going on. Did the apocalypse come early? She half joked to herself as she left the motel still covered in blood. Usually only this much chaos was scene during a war, even with all the gang members around this was ridiculous, then suddenly it hit her.

“WAR!! Where are you?!?” She yelled out irritated at how much chaos was happening she couldn’t tell who deserved what, and this had the twerp of a horseman’s name almost literally written on it.

This in future would give Ernest a better understanding of how the different governments operate and align themselves with others.

1937 : Spent a year in France during his undergraduate studies at an affiliated French university.

After graduation, he was chosen to become part of British Intelligence. (MI5) His time abroad and studies, as well as being verse in several languages, made him perfect for undercover operations in this dire time that faced the United Kingdom.

Sporting interests; Rugby union, Chess.

Parents: Lord Wilson (Deceased) and Lady Mary Faulkner

Date of Birth: 7th July, 1916

Place of Birth: Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.

Appearance: Approximately 5’9”, solid build, weighing around 196 pounds. Dark hair with brown eyes. Ernest has an olive complexion. He wears glasses for reading. Shoes size 10.  Always well dressed and neat appearance.

History; Born to Lord Wilson Faulkner and Lady Faulkner on the 7th of July, 1916. A dark time for the British Empire as the First World war was now in its second bloody year. Lord Wilson was already in service to fight (in the Somme) when Mary gave birth, to their only son. While he was a fine Commander and leader of his men, he witnessed events that would go on to haunt him till his death in 1924. Suicide was viewed in poor light by those of the society in which he was from, as they did not recognize at that era the affects of PTSD.

After his death, Lady Mary coddled her son, fearing of what would happen to the family name. A bright and studious child, he showed great potential in academics, and grew to be a fine strong lad, with a love of rugby, but also Chess. Yearning to learn more and do more for his country, he went on to Cambridge to learn not only law, which was an upstanding field to enter, but also had a taste for political science. He was determined not to let his Mother down.

When Ernest had graduated, he was more than aware of the dire situation in Europe, after completing his undergraduate course in France. This was a window to what was coming, and on his return, he sought to obtain a position in the Government, where his talents would be able to help the King and country. He…like his father, would come to see the worst of mankind in yet another World War.

Where is the Humanity?

The visions on the screen haunt my waking hours

People suffering in so many ways, so many places

It’s hard to fathom it all

My heart cries and my voice shouts at the screen

The world is mad, I tell myself

The compassion and humanity I yearn to see, replaced by desensitization

What ever happened to the Great Australian nation?

Men in suits with agendas that have nothing to do with the chaos

Twisting their words, spun into grand ideals that bare no fruit

When did the public voice go unheard?

Even the average Joe knows dropping bombs won’t solve a thing

It’s a war that no one can win

I want to believe

I want to believe

In the words they say

The promises they make

The plans they lay

But everyday

You get a different view

The people are now

So very confused

We want leadership

Someone to admire

Someone to trust

But the dreams

of the people

are turning into dust

More talk of war

Less on equality

Less on love

All I see now

Is the death

Of the white peace dove

The Captain and Xzilia – Part Two.

It’s amazing how a story created by two writers can suddenly take on a life of it’s own.  The Captain and Xzilia; a collaborative piece – is now in it’s second installment, with a new and exciting twist of events.  Not all is what is seems.  Written over eight hours, dreamcircle125 and I are proud of the results.  Please enjoy, part two.

Genre – Fantasy, Vampires, Time travel, sci-fi and vampires.

PART TWO
RB-  Louis stood with his arms folded as he regarded the woman who had not only taken them from the reality of the modern day world, but from the shadow realm to her own time.  It was not exactly what he had planned, but she was not exactly what she seemed to be either.  A witch perhaps?  More than a simple Vampire that was for sure.  Able to time travel as well.  This was starting to add up to a creature that was able to walk the void and beyond that.  He said nothing as he heard her fingers snap and the teeny tiny ship that had been bobbing about in the water like a cork in the bathtub was now full size and the damage that it had suffered was substantial.
Louis groaned and slapped his palm to his forehead – dragging it down his face, before rubbing his fingers along his stubbled chin.  The woman had darted off, leaving him there to ponder all that had transpired.  With a light shrug, he found a barrel on which to sit since he figured that he wasn’t going anywhere soon in a hurry – not if this world was another of her making.  Since he had some time, he did let his eyes wander up and down the jetty.  The strong smell of sea air was a comfort, though the stench of rotting fish he could surely do without.  He reached into his pocket and took out his fob watch, unlocking the hood and checking the time.  Louis shook his head when he realized exactly what time in history they were in.  His motorcycle back at the club was bound to get impounded, if he was going to be away as long as he thought he might be.  Pity.
Seeing the woman finally return with a crew of men that all jumped to attention and acted on her orders to get the ship back to being in tip top condition, Louis cocked his head to the side, and spoke with his arms still folded.
“How exactly do you plan on paying them, lovey?  By giving them a good view of what lay beneath your skirt?”
~
DC:   A sour look went to the man and she gave a smirk. She figgled with a ribbon in her hair and looked towards the men.
“I would never allow these men to see the fruits of my body, however a hefty increase in their shillings would be nice. Because what you don’t know is that i own half this town.” She tilts her head and allows hair to flutter into her face. Eyes were a chocolate brown that glowed in the sun as she stared at him pleasantly, right now she posed no threat only showed something calm and sweet.
Looking back at the ship being repaired she raised her arms over her head and yawned. Spring weather had always made her sleepy and she rubbed her eyes to remove the tears. Groggily speaking she looked at Louis.
“Do you want to go look at the other ships in the port?”
~
RB- One thing about the change in time periods, was that Louis was now dressed as he would have been the day that he first stood behind the wheel of his ship.  It suited him a great deal better than the ordinary club attire he had been wearing at the start of the night.  In fact, you could say that he truly belonged in this era…just not this particular place.  Watching the girl fidget with the ribbon in her hair, and saying that she’d never allow  them to see the fruits of her body, the Vampire interjected.
“Yes….well, I guess they can’t be as lucky as I was to be privy to catch sight of your melons, lovey.  And…all for free, I might add.”
Louis didn’t mind at all, reminding her of the naked romp that she had done in the shadow world that she created.  But here, in this place she looked as though butter would not melt in her mouth.  He…knew otherwise.  A walking contradiction.  Pushing himself up off the barrel on which he had been sitting, he didn’t appear impressed by the wealth that she proclaimed to have.  He just dusted himself down while she raised her arms up over her head and yawned.  Was the poor dear tired?
“And here I thought you were a night owl.  Be careful to close that pretty little mouth of yours, before something fills it.”
Louis waltzed on past her and simply threw a remark over his shoulder.
“Well, come on then, Queenie.  Let’s see the other ships you own.”
~
DC:
All types of ships bob in smaller ports as she leads the sailor to the much larger area. Slowly they began to grow in size and detail and she reaches the battle ships with a smile. Turning to Louis, Xzilia swept a hand over the three she had prepared for him.
“They should be able to fit your needs, I noticed only a few cannons on your ship when i studied it earlier and I felt sad if it were to battle one of the, more, forbidding ones.” She then regarded the previous statement this man brought up and threw in the payment.
“Now, you are not one of the lucky ones. All because you seen a glimpse of this body does not mean you have seen it all. For the fact of you catching a ‘glimpse’ you will now work for me as a ship captain, attacking and pillaging some of my more annoying enemies along the sea.”
~
RB – The boards of the wharf creaked and groaned as the pair strolled along.  By the way that Xzilla walked, he could see that she was definitely a woman of worth in this society and era.  Complete opposite to the shot guzzling beauty at the bar.  In fact, it was amusing to see her with grace and airs.  If she owned the town as she said she did, Xzilla acted like it.  All pomp and ceremony.
Louis stood stoically when she passed her hand out to the water at a row of battleships, all armed to the teeth with cannons, and worthy of any deserving Captain.  Xzilla boldy said that they would suit his ineeds as she took the time whilst almost crushing his ship, in seeing what it bore.  They were impressive, the vampire could not deny this fact, but what he had said earlier about catching a good glimpse of her naked form, left her with a little bit of a sour taste in her mouth.  More than happy to let him know that although he had only seen a glimpse, there was more to her than met the eye.  Now, this could have brought about a flood of rude and rather suggestive series of comments that would see him going down into the gutter, but it was her next statement, that truly had him laugh loudly.
Was he to be on her payroll?
“Me?…Work for you?”  Louis placed his splayed hand upon his chest as thought mortally offended by the very idea.  He strolled around in a circle, a real bounce in his step as he looked to the sky and chortled.  “Attacking…pillaging your ‘more’ annoying enemies?”  When did they suddenly become bosom buddies?  He twirled on the ball of his right foot, his jacket rising and spinning with him.
“Who exactly are your enemies, Queenie?”  Were they worth the trouble?
~
DC:  She sighed heavily, she was trying to be nice to him but as a natural vampire he was full of surprises. Well, for her she may not be bloodthirsty anymore, her recent feeding had cleared and calmed her nerves, but she could still have a few tricks up her sleeves.
“Xzilia, and I have had some troubles with both Britain and France being against my – ways of the sea. Only humans can captain human ships they say, then decided to take it upon themselves to attack them.” She rolled her eyes finding even the thought of them too troublesome. She was about to explain herself more when in the background drunken cheers chimed out, a smile appearing.
“And as if in a drunken stupor your first mate comes to greet you. Would you like to see?” She turns to see a jolly crowd soon singing one of the taverns favorite songs. Xzilia’s foot taps along to the beat as the entire port begins to sing to the catchy song.

RB-  Louis was not an easy fellow to impress, and Xzilla was going to have to do a lot more than just announce that for the sight of her breasts, he was now in her employ.  Every deal required a sweetener, so to speak.  As he listened to her, it became obvious that she was truly different from the others of her time.  More like he had been, so long ago.  Did they have more in common, then first thought?  It had been hundreds of years, since Louis had been to a place like this.  In fact, the more he inhaled the scent of the sea air, the more his memory was returning to him.  Naturally, he was guarded – as he had a right to be.  This woman was more fickle than a winter storm.  Changing direction from this way to that.
So her enemies were France AND Britain?  Xzilia sure knew how to pick her enemies.  The reasons were that the humans, as he learned were still dominant in this era – were against the supernaturals from having the right to captain ships.  Louis continued to stroke his chin, while listening.  A gruff sound coming from the pit of his belly in indignation to the ways of the fleshies.  Louis caught the eye roll by Xzilia, and this was also noted.  They did have a common enemy after all.
But the conversation was to be interrupted by the raucous sound of drunken singing, that came from the direction of the local tavern.  It was not just the tavern folk that were raising their voices either, but it appeared to be all those in ear shot.  This was turning into a musical of sorts, and the Captain let out a sigh as he stood by the toe tapping woman.
“Lead the way…Xzilia.”  Yes, he just used her name.
~
DC:   She shook her head and turned away to walk back up the shore. She listened to the singing turn to boisterous laughter and followed the only drunk female voice among the crowd. Shoving through the crowd Xzilia makes her way to the door where a pink hair woman clanks her mug with someone elses. When she spots Xzilia she grins and yanks her under her arm, holding her head tightly.
“Ya shee this gal! Shee’s the best daymn gal arwound!” Her head sways as she leans in close and whispers something into Xzilia’s ear. With a nod the woman’s head is released and she stands, fixing her hair. Looking over at Louis, Xzilia places a steady hand on the woman’s shoulder and introduces her.
“This is Louana, she was a navigator on a British ship, until she betrayed them and sunk their ship by guiding them into jagged rocks just off shore. She is a siren when provoked. I was hoping you could take her under your wing so she can get her drunk ass out of the local taverns.” With a firm yank on the womans collar Louana is forced to stand, causing her to drop her mug of spirits.
~
RB – Trudging along behind Xzilia, the Captain wasn’t sure what to expect from the sounds of the voices raised in song.  But on opening the door, there was one that stood out from all that were swaying in time to the beat of the musician’s drum.  A pink haired lass, with tresses that went down to the very base of her back.  You could say that she was fetching, but there was something else about her that made the Captain quirk a brow.
It was her voice.  In stark contrast to that of Xzilia, she spoke as though she had salt water in her veins.  Not to mention a few litres of rum.  Louis tried to hide his amusement, when he saw the pink haired vixen take Xzilla into a head lock.  They were more than just friends, that was clear to see.  He couldn’t imagine Xzilla holding still for too long if he tried such a form of greeting.  What words were whispered between the pair, that had the pink lass start to act more formal.  Women….seriously.  Can’t understand them…no…you just can’t understand them.
Introduced as Louana, a former navigator of a British ship; Louis gave a polite nod in her general direction.  Any navigator that could drive a ship to the rocks, must know what she is doing.  NOT!  Course it had been done on purpose, for vengeance.  That part of women he DID understand.  Nothing worse than a woman’s scorn.  But when Xzilla gave the girl’s collar a hard yank and made her stand to attention, and spill the contents of her mug of grog – the Captain considered the worth of having a near drunken slush as a member of his crew.
“Hmmm.”  Louis strolled over and walked around the woman, as though he was at one of the slave yards, or cattle markets.  She had a nice arse, that was for sure.  But bums don’t navigate ships.  He needed to know she could be trusted not to run his ship aground like the British.
“Sober her up….and I’ll consider it, Xzilia.”
How she did that, was her business.
DC:  “Not the best idea, but if you will consider her that way then fine. I’ll meet you at whatever ship you choose.” Xzilia grins and tugs Louana along, who is obviously fighting against her. Eyes bugged out she knew what was to come if she grew sober now.
“No! P-please don’t let her sober me!!” The siren pleaded, kicking her booted feet about, until they were no longer in sight anymore. The tavern however began to calm down, some people even left the area to continue on with their activities. An hour passed and the pair walked down the street, a very sore looking Louana regretted every action she did up until now. Touching such a lovely woman in such a hasty matter resulted in a heavy ass whooping to add to the vulgar liquids that was forced down her throat.
Xzilia was feeling somewhat better now, having beat the stupidity out of the stubborn siren. She felt confident Louana will get back on the sea and stop being so lazy in the taverns. Arriving at the sea port they looked for Louis, just to see what boat he decided to pick.
~
RB – Louis didn’t hang around in the tavern while waiting for Xzilla to get the navigator sorted.  He was certain she had her own methods for a quick sobering lesson, and with the turn of his boot, Louis strode out of the establishment, whistling to himself as he walked.  Most of those that had been in the tavern were now making their ways to their own jobs for the day.  It was not the kind of place that had the sailors and dock workers being drunk off their faces the whole time.  They wanted to earn their shillings, then they needed to work for it.
Now, the only thing left to do was chose a ship.  Louis was interested in one that was fast, not overloaded and huge.  So, with this in mind, he strolled along the jetty – passing numerous vessels.  It was not just frigates that were moored at the wharf, but also fishing vessels.  On the docks, there were sailors telling tales as they worked on their nets.  Laughter and of course the odd swear and cuss thrown in.  Every man had some sad song in his heart, and then of course there were the songs about the girl that they lost their hearts to.  A few threw him the odd glance, perhaps because of his attire, but Louis did have a certain way to his stride that had him appear to be more regal than the rest.
Finally, he came to be in front of a frigate that had just the right amount of sail.  A fast looking ships.  Guns of course, and a busy crew.  Louis turned and folded his arms as he surveyed the ship with a critical eye.
“This might do nicely.”  It wasn’t new by any means.  There were a few odd battle scars, but this was a good thing. It meant that it survived whatever was thrown at it.  He glanced at the name that was engraved on a plaque on the side.
“The Devil’s Mistress.”
How appropriate.
~
DC:   “You choose the Mistress and not the Maiden? Why am I not surprised at your decision.” Louana commented aridly as she waved a hand in the air. When she approached Louis she placed her hands on her hips and leaned to put her weight on her right foot. Her eyes scanning the man that stood before her she clicked her tongue as if to expect something more to come to her. “Your suppose to be my captain? Why should I follow your lead upon the sea and not just my own wraith that calls?”
Her one good eye stared at him with the swirling of the seas whirlpools. However, she turned away and glanced at the watery mother herself and she sighed. It had been years since she was upon its rocking tides and she missed it, but she didn’t miss the commands that came with the boat. Drawing a sharp breath, and ignoring any answer this new Captain of hers had come up with, she made her way to the boat, her heels tapping the planks she walked on.
“Lets get going, all I need to show you is how I can steer right?” And up on the boat she went in one graceful leap. She meant business if it meant getting back onto the waters again and living her passion.
~
RB-  Louis was starting to prefer this girl a little more tipsy, now that she had sobered up, she was turning into a nagging nelly.  The Captain stared down his nose at her when she stood in such a fashion, as to be giving him the once over.  Hands on hips and that cocky swagger.  Great….  Just what the Captain needed.  She was like the kind of wife you kept at home.  Yes, that is what she reminded him of.  Add a few curlers, and a cigarette hanging from that pouting bottom lip – in a shapeless nightie.  Every man’s waking nightmare. The thought was enough to turn his stomach.  And he had to sail with this?
“I am just THE Captain, not your Captain, thank you very much.”
Oh they were off to a rocky start. No wonder she was a siren.  She belonged on a rock.  Hmm, maybe he can push her onto one and then continue on with his sailing.  That made his lips curve up into a smile of sorts.
“Because, my dear.  Your wraith might have a tendency for running a ship aground, that’s why.”
Did he need to explain everything about the lore of the sea.  One thing he knew for certain was that women on ships, was not the done thing.  That is what they had cabin boys for.  Seeing her leap up onto the ship after traipsing up the ship’s plank, he rubbed his temple.
“Its a well proven scientific fact, that women bring bad luck when they board a ship.”
Yes, he could feel it in his waters already.  This girl was going to be more trouble than she was worth.  He marched on up the plank after her, as the crew continued to load supplies.  On reaching her side, he leaned over and said.
“Do you even know where the wheel is?”
~
DC:   She rolls her eyes and they land on her ‘Captain’ before giving her usual line. “You can either have me at the wheel or staring at a map, sir. But even if your not my Captain I’ll still follow your rules.” It may be a line she says often, always being told a woman wasn’t allowed on board a ship was the same as the humans laying the law down about only humans steering ships.
A flick of her hair and she sidled up to the wheel and leaned against it, awaiting Captain’s orders. Meanwhile, Xzilia was at a small home knocking softly on the wooden door. A man answered, looking as if he had just woke up before scowling and slamming the door in her face. Xzilia furrowed her brow in anger and knocked again, a little harder again.  Again it opened to the same man and again that same man slammed the door, but not without flashing a smirk.
“Go away Xzilia! You are not welcome!” He shouted flopping on his couch, but no was something Xzilia didn’t take. She splintered the door with a single punch, causing the young man to duck for cover, then she politely knocked with a carefree smile.
“I’m coming in anyways, I have something to discuss with you.”
~
RB-  Twirling the large signet ring upon his ring finger, the Captain could smell the scent of the Siren as she saddled up next to him.  Fair flicking and still cocky as they came.  Was this some sort of joke on Xzilla’s part to put this woman on his ship, with an important job no less?  He had to wonder just what was said between the two, in between dunking Miss Pink’s head in a vat of ice cold water to sober her up fast.  Louis’s lips thinned as the girl was simply not going to go away.  The words…”shark bait” kept creeping into his mind.  All these wicked ideas of how to dispatch her from the ship in the most hedonistic ways possible, were now his only source of entertainment.
The crew were now pulling up the gang plank and readying to bring up the anchor, as well as untie the ropes that kept the ship moored to the wharf.  Truth be told, he didn’t have a freaking clue where they were, as far as location.  He needed to see a map before he could even give orders.  Taking out an eyeglass, he extended it and then scanned for the outlet to the ocean.
“Bring her about and have her make for open waters.  I’ll be in my cabin checking the maps.”
“Aye aye, Captain.”  A first mate gave a salute of sorts and starting barking orders at the crew.  This gave Louis the chance to go and see what state the Captain’s quarters were in, and also to find out just what stocks of blood were kept on board.  Or did they have bodies down below.  He walked silently past the siren and made his way down the stairs, to head for his cabin.
~
DC:   The sails dropped and the boat had a sudden jerk as it caught a strong wind. Spinning the wheel sharply Louana misses an incoming boat by a hair and snickers as she watches her dear Captain almost loose his footing. However she was only running on half visibility and still was in the busy port. Navigating through the tight spots of the boats to get to the precious open waters, but eventually they reach then and she whistles for the Captain.
“Captain, the open waters await you. That and one massive French battle ship…” She shouts as the glitter of the ships sails insignia comes to view. If she could remember right they attacked the city last week, were they trying to surprise them again?
Flipping up her eye patch she counted the numbers against them, one ship and about 300 men on top and stored below. About 50 cannons, the front equipped for ramming, it was a monster to any normal boat and crew. As the ship grew nearer she heard the city sirens echo behind her and she grinned with excitement, her captain better hurry before she takes matters into her own hands.
~
RB-  The Captain had been on his way to his cabin, when the ship was caught in a heavy turn of the wheel – sharp enough to almost make him lose his footing.  His head instantly looked skyward, as he wondered what in blazes that girl was up to.  Turning on his heel, he bolted back up onto the deck, only to see the girl steering her way between other vessels and taking the ship out of the inlet.  What awaited them however, was a ship that was flying the French colours.. And not just any ship, but one of the Royal fleet.  Grasping the side railings of the ship, he growled under his breath.  That ship was one that was well built, armed with as many as fifty cannons and a large crew of hardened sailors.
He felt like he had not even been in the ship an hour, and it was already about to be tested of its might in battle.  Louis pushed himself off the railing, and barked orders for the crew to prepare to face the enemy head on.  He took the stairs, two in his stride as he made it up to the ship’s helm.
In the background, the city was on alert of the oncoming threat.  Loud wails coming from the shore and the docks.  It was as if the whole thing had been planned.  No wonder Xzilia was no where to be seen.  The Captain grabbed the wheel, near knocking Louana from her feet, as he tried to get the ship to pitch to the right.  A full on ramming would do neither ship any good.
“Arm the cannons!”  He roared.
~
DC:   She stumbled some and growled, but took nothing back as she flipped down her eye patch. Looked as though she wasn’t going to show her skill and therefore she went off to help the crew. She steadied one of the cannons as it rolled up and had one of the others take hold as she loaded one other.
The France ship kept a steady speed as you could hear the men hoot and holler their war sounds. Louana smirked solely to herself as she steadied another cannon.
“Cannons ready captain!!” She shouted as the ship sped towards them. At the moments before the cannons fired she enjoyed the most. Her lungs filled with salty air and the breeze that lifted off the water sang to her sense. A power rang deep within her soul and right when the cannons rang out she began to sing.  Her voice caused the France ship to jerk to the side, making both the perfect target and a few men to go overboard.
~
RB-  With the ships coming alongside each other, thanks to the Captain’s good steering, his order to arm the guns came to herald the opening fire of many a cannon, with Luana manning one of them.  Cannon smoke became a mask of sorts, as some of the crew swung across to the French ship to begin cutting down the french sailors were they stood.  Massive blast holes caused shrapnel and splintered wood to fly in all directions, some becoming embedded in the bodies of those fighting on the opposite ship.  The water was turning to the colour of blood, as the fighting picked up on the French ship.  The Devil’s Mistress was certainly keeping true to her name, as the Captain withdrew his cutlass and reached for the nearest rope on the side of his ship.
“Take the wheel!”  He ordered Louana, and then swung across the sea between the two ships, to join the fighting with his crew.  They say a Captain should never leave his ship, but on this occasion he was not about to let his crew have all the fun.
On landing, he skillfully wielded his sword and cut a man across the stomach – the sailor dropping forward and his guts falling out on the clean deck below him.  The scent of fresh blood flowing, only heightened the Captain’s senses, and he went on to take up swords against another – this time an officer.  The two swords raised and clashing with the hum of steel.  It was a sight to see Louis in his element.
~
DC:   Louana did as told; she stopped her singing and reacted to the captains words. However, now the enemy ship was able to move as the open sails reacted to the wind. It thrust forwards a bit and Louana shifted the wheel to avoid unnecessary collisions.  Somehow though the ship had a mind of its own when those sails were open. She had two choices, avoid unnecessary accidents or take care of the enemy sails.
She decided to do both and called out for a sailor for assistance and she spun the wheel to avoid the ship once more. Demanding the man to scour the enemies sails above she sent him off.
Meanwhile, Xzilia found herself arguing with the man in his living room. She demanded to speak with him and his daughter and he was fussing over the door. All the while a small girl, not any older than 10, stood in the doorway with wide eyes. She watched her father argue with some woman and she was thoroughly confused, until she seen the woman’s face and shook her head.
“Hey!! Shut up you old farts!” Her voice rang loud and she crossed her arms, tapping her toes in anger.
~
RB- The sound of the blade as it pierced right through a man’s skull would be a sound that you would not ever want to hear again.  It was a wet crunching sound, and when added to the sailor’s dying screams the combined effect was spine chilling.  Louis reefed back his blade as another fell to the deck in a bloody heap.  Eyes practically hanging out of their sockets – staring outward at nothing.  The Gods would gain many a soul this day, if none did not make their way to Hell first.  The French ship lurched and pitched heavily as the man at the wheel was trying to make his ship collide with the Devil’s Mistress.  The Captain vanished in a black haze before appearing behind the wheel’s man and bit down savagely into his neck – the shock of which had the man release the wheel from his grasp and madly try to put his hands around behind him and stop this vicious assault.
No sooner had the ill fated sailor tried this ill advised move, did the Captain snap his neck in two and drop him to the ground.  The pirates from his own ship, were doing a damn fine job in giving the frenchies what for – bloodied bodies laying strewn across the deck, their finery of uniform now tainted with their own blood.
Next thing the Captain knew, the sails of the French vessel were coming under attack, and this would only serve to cause the ship to lose its power in the water.  Without the sails, they were a sitting duck.  The guns continued to fire between the two ships, and the damage was considerable.  Only one would survive the onslaught, but which would it be?
~
DC:   Leaning heavily on the wheel Louana steadied herself between the jerks of the colliding cannons and dodging the ship. Only when the sails were torn could she stop worrying, but she wasn’t out of the clear. Sitting beside this ship made them easy targets for the blasphemous cannons, a great amount more powerful.

Without any orders, which was strongly against what she lived for, she steered the ship forward and around to the back of the French’s. No threats seemed to come from here as she rested; she seemed oddly weak for just sitting behind a wheel. Something wet trickled down her leg and she chuckled, not even needing to look at the wound. Checking off her vital signs she found no need to remove the large splinter in her side and the smaller ones in her left leg.

“What a fine experience for my first time on sea in years.” She shook her pink hair and hefted a heavy sigh as she listened to the chaos of war. Yet from back here she wouldn’t know when they would need her. Stepping from the wheel she walked to the front of the boat and watched up the side of the French’s boat.

~
RB-  Loius thundered along the deck like a man possessed.  Any crew man that was in his path of destruction, soon met with their maker, as his sword made short work of them.  Slashing with supernatural force, that sent blood flying.  The deck was now awash with the blood of french sailors, and the Captain of the French ship was now backed into a corner.  Three against one, as most of his crew were either fighting to save their own lives, or dying off like flies.  The Captain dropped to his knees, speaking rapidly in a language that many of the Devil’s crew did not understand.  Louis came through the throng like the sea itself was parting in the wake of a great animal.  He stared the man down.  What a coward to not fight for his life, and instead wait for death to come…on his knees, like a woman.  Louis spat at the man.  Blood of his own crewmen mixed in with the foul saliva, that drenched the French Captain’s face.  Grovelling like a beggar on the streets, he crawled on his knees to Louis.  Babbling in french about his wife…his children.  His home.  Louis cared not for this man, and grabbed him by the scruff of the hair of his head, and drove his sword deep into the man’s neck.  It was a cruel and horrible way to die, the French Captain jerking and going into shock, as his lungs filled with blood.  Soon blood was pouring out of his mouth, and his nostrils, till Louis released him.  The French Captain fell back as Louis stepped on his chest and withdrew his sword with one powered jerk of his hand.
With the French Captain dead, the crew fell away from the cannons….the battle was lost.  Louis held his blooded sword up over his head and roared in triumph, a sound that would carry across the waters….all the way back to Xzilia.
~
DC:   Xzilia’s head raised to the sky and she smiled, he had done his part, he was worthy of her heart. She chuckled and looked back to the two before her, shaking the daughters hand politly.

“Please, Miss Xzilia, pass our good word to the captain that has defeated our enemy. If he needs skilled marksmen we will gladly be of assistance to him.” The girl bowed her head and shut their newly fixed door. Xzilia nodded her head and made her way to the port to see the ship in the distance.

Louana smiled small as she went back to the wheel and sailed the ship around again. Stopping, she looked at the mass bodies littering the French ship as the crew began to load back onto the ship.

“You sure have out done yourself Captain, was it fun?” She noticed he was covered in blood, what a stupid question to ask her captain.
~
RB-  The words and tales of Louis had not been heard for nearly four hundred years.  Though in the modern era, he had no ship, nor crew to call his own.  He was a traveller.  Born of a different time, and belonging nowhere.  This moment however, as he wiped the blood of the French Captain off his sword, with the flag of the French as a rag, he was once again in his element.  He took a moment to inhale sharply, so he could savor this win for what it was worth.  All around the fallen were now massive piles of corpses that would be picked apart by the scavengers of the sea.  The Captain was about to disembark before swinging back to his own ship, but not before setting down a torch that had the French ship burst into flame.  It was like a tinder box on the seas, and its flames would be seen far and wide.  Dare anyone to mess with the Captain and his crew and they would soon see themselves at the bottom of the ocean blue.
The Captain landed back aboard his own deck with a dull thud, and the roar of the courageous crew met his return.  They had casualties, but nothing that rivaled their french counterparts.
Hearing Louana speak over the top of the din, asking if he had fun since he had out done himself, the Captain stared down at her as though she had something weird between her eyes.
“Bring on the next ship of lily livered bastards…I’m ready.”
~
DC:   She chuckled, as much as she was begging for fun she was also begging for medical help. But not daring to disobey her Captain she steered the speeding ship further out to sea. They were leaving safe waters, out at the open the waters are more dangerous and it wasn’t just the ships. Legends be told of Louana’s old crew sailing the waters around the city. A ghastly ship that outnumbered any ship on the seven seas. They would more likely attack if they knew Louana had taken to the sea once more.

A wave crashed into the side and she gritted her teeth to keep it on course. The ship rumbled its protests, the holes drinking in water that the crew hurriedly tossed out. Were they in any shape to take on another boat? She glanced at her captain, was he prepared to lose his ship so soon? She shook her head and steadied the violently rocking mass of wood, spinning the wheel to ride with the waves. She flipped up her eye patch and scanned the sea for targets.

“Captain, I do not see a soul on the waters. Should we venture further?”

~
RB-  The Captain took out his eyeglass, as she took off her eye patch.  The pair of them both staring in the same direction.  Only for a moment did he actually let his hand lower, to cast his eyes back down at the girl, who was bleeding all over the deck.  Not exactly a wise thing to do right next to a vampire…Siren or not.  He shook his head a little to snuff out any desire to feed on her.  Really, he was covered in more blood than what was on the deck.  Still, she had a nice allure to her smelling the way she did.  Louana was right of course, the seas were deserted.  All hopes and thought put into using just one heavily armed ship, as opposed to a fleet.  Reckless and foolhardy were words that he would use to describe the French Admiral’s folly.  Snapping closed his eye glass, he spun his finger and gave the order.
“Back to port.  Guess we gotta patch up the ship….and some of the crew.”  Was this a touch of humanity, seeping out from the Captain’s own wounds?  Nah.  He was a bastard and everyone knew it.  It was why he was the Captain.
“Well, go on.  Turn her around.”  Louis grumbled, then made a lip smacking sound.  “And…get your leg looked at.  Before I bite it off.”
He then left the helm to her watch.
~
DC:   Louana almost giggled, but gave a smile when he made such a comment. Violently spinning the wheel she lead the ship back to port and was relieved to see the finest medics waiting. She and the rest of the crew filed off, helping wounded along the way. Louana stayed seated on a nearby crate just off to the side as someone wiggled free the smaller splinters in her leg. Somebody else would have to tear out the larger one, nobody dare attempt to try. She spotted her captain and quickly got up, ignoring the pain of having a splinter rip from her leg.

“Captain! How did I do? Would you accept me as part of your crew?” She may be a bitch on the sea, but she was eager to sail upon it. Being this eager may get her denied, but she had – other annoying ways of getting the job. Even if she had to use bloody measures and starve the man, maybe even leave him on the brink of death, whatever it took for him to accept her on the boat.

~
RB-  The ship was now moored back at the docks, and the sound and commotion from both those on the wharf, and those getting carried off was enough to make a man want to stuff his fingers in his ears.  Louis strode around the deck, pushing the odd french body over the side as he did so.  The large splash being heard now and again as he cleaned his ship of french filth.  Course, his thoughts would be interrupted by that pink haired siren yet again.  She was a persistent little thing.  Great hunk of a splinter clattering to the deck as someone had tried to prize it out, and she managed to do it herself, just by getting off a box.
Louis placed his hands squarely upon his hips and regarded the girl again with that critical eye.  Yes, she did manage to keep the ship from being blown apart, that was one good thing.  Didn’t bitch and moan about being hurt.  Carried on her duties while making a mess of the deck.  He’d seen men act more girly than this woman.  As much as he hated to admit it, she’d done a bang up job.  Maybe this whole…curse of women on a ship was just a fable after all.
“You be on trial.  Say, a month. Then, after that…we’ll talk.”  It was as good as she was going to get, in fact, this was the most generous he had been to anyone.
~
DC:   Eyes widened and a wave of shock washed over her, she passed the first test and impressed the un-impressible. She may not have gotten a straight forward yes, but she didn’t get a no either. Without thought she grabbed the mans face and pulled him to her, delicate and soft lips pressed against his as she gave him an unforgettable kiss. Pulling away she now looked like a wreck as she whispered her words.

“Thank you sir…” And she fell to the ground, raspy breathing and fast heartbeat, the blood loss put her in shock as medic carried her away. A few crew mates whistled at the captain and patted his back, getting a kiss from that siren was damn near impossible. Even if she was in a drunk stupor you couldn’t even get her into bed.

~
RB-  The last thing that Louis ever expected this woman to do, was grab his bloody face and plant a kiss on his lips.  Delicate and soft like being touched by a feather, only it felt a whole lot nicer than a feather.  In fact, the Captain completely forgot himself for the moment.  His eyes wide in surprise but those eyelids of his fell as he returned the kiss.  It was only when she pulled away and he heard the roar of the crew.  A mixture of emotions riddled his face, and he looked…embarrassed.  That was until she fell to the ground at his feet.
“Yes…*grumble*…Hmmph.  Get back to work you dogs!”  He barked at the other members of the crew, who were still enjoying the Captain’s moment.  He watched her being carried away by a few of the medics that were on hand from the wharf.  Only when she was down off the ship, did he turn away and place his fingers up to his lips.
Being kissed by a siren….well that was a notch on his belt.
~
DC:   Xzilia was posted a few yards away as she watched the men fix his old boat. Was this worth her time? She had seen the kiss, Louana was far more fetching than she was. Looking down at herself she sighed and stared back at the boat. A worker came over and conversed with her, there were some problems getting the main mass to stay in place; they were fixing it outside of their normal area.

Agreeing to help she pushed herself from the barrel she was leaning against and followed the worker up to the boat. A few men struggled to keep it from swaying, but when Xzilia took hold it was in solid place.

“Get this thing sturdy before my arms give way!!” She shouted and they immediately scurried about to fix the mass in place. After the hardware was finished all they had to do was add ropes and sails.

Xzilia removed herself from the boat and headed back to the barrel to think. She had so many questions and concerns in her head that now she didn’t know what to do.

~
RB-  Louis came down the gang plank with his boots still covered in the blood from battle. In fact, he was caked with it.  Splattered across his face crudely, even dotted through his hair.  Here was a man that lived and breathed to fight, only in the modern world, they were not ones to celebrate such a man.  He’s most likely be locked up for life.  Xzilla stood out like a sore thumb against the backdrop of all the others that were going about their duties on the wharf.  She was heading to a barrel for some reason, the Captain knew not why.  Louis came up behind her and coughed loudly.
“So…got rid of one of your enemies, Xzilia.”  Louis said, brushing his blooded hand back through his disheveled hair.  Lowering his hand, he regarded her for a moment.  She didn’t look all cocky and stuck up like before.
“What’s eating you?”
Louis folded his arms and awaited her answer.
~
DC:   She didn’t even hear him come up behind her, but when he coughed it only made her heat race as she gave him a short and sour look. She felt proud that he rid of one pest, get the word out about us having a new captain. But when he mentioned her attitude she looked towards the boat for an excuse.

“I was sitting here watching these men, they may be following the framework of your old boat but none of it is correct. I was pondering on how to fix this problem at hand, then I thought about it…we stain the wood with the death and blood it ever so craves.” She may have spoken those words, but she didn’t entirely believe them.

Looking back she wondered why she so hastily decided that he was to work for her and then be greedy enough to claim him as hers. He could down right hate her right now and only be putting up with her because there was no way back to the modern world; even though her city was only a few years behind.

She leaned against the barrel and crossed her arms, how was it that this all started. She could have easily let him have his way at the parking lot, let him do what he wanted. Then she could have been on her merry way and so would he, but there was something about him that made her want to introduce him to her home, her world. It was his inner self calling and craving for the action. She took it upon herself to give him what he wanted without even asking his permission, she was selfish.

~
RB-  :”Bullshit.”  One word.  Oh, he listened to her muddle on about how she had been watching the crew and the way they were following the framework of his old boat, but there was not an ounce of truth to what she was saying. It was like listening to the Secretary of State address the media about the latest bill.. Utter bullshit.  “That has to be the first time I have ever heard you lie.  And to my face.”
He was right, she knew he was right.  Why?  It was all in the way she held herself, her body language speaking volumes.  Louis reached for her arm and turned her so she had to face him.  Had to stare up into those dark eyes that narrowed as he gained focus.
“You were in such a rush to make me a Captain.  I was to be…under your employ.  Controlled by you.”  These words might seem harsh, but often the truth was brutal.  “THEN you go and put a bloody siren on board.”  He gestured to where the siren had been taken by the medics.  She had to have seen the pink haired minx kiss him.  The bloody crew made enough noise afterwards to wake the dead.
“If you think…for one moment I am interested in that pink haired waif….think again.”
There…he said it.  How would she react?
~
DC:   What? What did he mean then, if he wasn’t interested in her? No, this was not settled just yet and she glared coldly at this man and jabbed her finger into his chest.

“Don’t YOU lie to me, if you were not interested in her you shouldn’t he returned the kiss. Nor acted like you enjoyed it.” The thought of this man playing around with Louana’s feelings, made her rage boil out of control. There was no denying anything when you witness everything, she wasn’t stupid.

Releasing herself from his grasp she had to back away and cover her face, weakness is not an option and when she looked back she was blushing and almost crying. What was wrong with her? What did she just get into this time?!

“We are not toys to be played around with…” She had to get out of there or everything would be shattered, the backed away and then turned and ran.

~
RB-  Feeling each prod that Xzilla made with her finger to his chest, was like a bird pecking at a silver backed gorilla.  It wasn’t that he didn’t feel it, it was seeing how her face flushed a dark crimson.  Those eyes, they were cold as ice but it was the heart inside of her.  Twisting and getting in a knot.  SHE WAS JEALOUS!
He opened his mouth as though to say something in reply as she ranted, but was quickly made to shut it again when she accused him of acting like he enjoyed it.  The girl was a siren.  Her kisses were unlike anything that was on God’s earth.  Of course he felt the tingle that one gets, but it didn’t mean he took it as a fancy.  He’d been berating the girl the entire time.  Even having a go at her and one point near knocked her flying.  Seeing Xzilia this worked up, to the point that she looked to be in tears had Louis look completely bewildered.  Women were so…bloody confusing.
“We are not toys to be played with.”  Her final words on the matter, as she backed away, as though trying to flee. THIS was a whole new side to Xzilia.  Vulnerability.  It was shocking to say the least.
“I didn’t damn toy with her….Xzilia…you’re being foolish.”  His words seemed lost to her, but as she ran from him he snarled and then vanished from where he stood, only to appear right in front of the direction she was running.  She could well run straight into him.
“What do I have to do to prove it?!”  He roared, before grabbing her face roughly and kissing her as hard as he possibly could.
~
DC:   And that she did, colliding with his massive chest. She was stunned by his sudden appearance but even more so when he grabbed her face. She was barely able to utter a word when he kissed her, and at first she was confused, but she squeezed her eyes shut and wrapped her arms around his neck as she began to cry. Her kisses may not be as pleasant, but they were sweet per say and conveyed all of her emotions.

Time didn’t just seem to stop; she made it halt in its place when their lips met. It was like she was flying in a whirlwind of her own foolish emotions and love it.
Nothing could ruin this, even the way he seemed to get angry with her nearly pulled her heart from her chest. When they finished she caressed his cheek before dropping her arm and turning all flustered. It truly happened, in over 5 billion years she had her first kiss with a man she truly cared for.

Looking up at his tall stature she would listen to anything he had to say before she herself commented an I’m sorry.

~
RB- There wasn’t so much anger in the kiss, more frustration at her actions that led him to have to be bold in a move to stop her.  Yes, his lips could easily bruise hers, but it was the muffled sobs that came in between each time he took a breath that he started to realize that she actually wanted this.  Wanted it more than a woman could want anything.  Her arms wound their way around his neck tightly, as though afraid to let go of him.  How long had it been since she surrendered to what was her own true desires.  To be treated like the woman that lay beneath the cool exterior.  Louis had managed in an instant, to peel back her layers till she was completely raw…practically emotionally naked.  Only when her arm came around so that she could run her fingers down his cheek, did he see the true woman behind those cold eyes.
Her words of being sorry were met by a reaction, not more words. He scooped her up so her feet were no longer on the ground, and this time he kissed her as a lover might.  It was what she needed….and maybe he did as well.  He may have kissed a siren back before, but kissing Xzilia was the greatest gift a man could ever get.  Louis placed her upon the barrel, though her legs might well be wrapped around him.  He only broke the kiss, to rest his forehead to hers.
“Don’t ever run from me again….”
~
DC:   It was all bliss, she expected something sly or rude to come from his mouth but what happened was even better. He made her fly and brought her back with a loving and tender kiss. Hands cupped his face and hair slithered down her shoulders as they rested their foreheads together.

“Don’t ever run from me again….” Hopefully she wouldn’t have to, no, there was no hopefully because she wont ever have to. He may be just as cold as she is on the outside, but they are the same inside. Lusting, at least she was, for another to call her own. Someone no one would take from her unless they wished for death, it was all a dream come to reality.

She traced his lower jaw and hummed a happy tune, a Celtic song of legend love. Having her finger rest on his lips she had a thought come to mind and she looked him in the eyes some. Taking the finger to her lips she gouged it with a tooth and traced his lips once more hoping he would accept her gift. Hoping he would become hers fully.

~
RB-  No one could ever say that Louis had a romantic bone in his body.  Yet when the moment came to silence Xzilia, he was able to do so in a way that brought about not only tears but unbridled joy.  Had he expected that she would react to his kiss…the second one with such happiness?  The woman practically radiated it.  From the cold of her touch, she soon warmed, as though basking in the rays of a dying sun.  The sounds and voices of those that went on with their work dulled out to nothingness, as the pair were only hearing the other.  Louis actually closed his eyes when he heard the faint tune of a Celtic song of love.  Old as time itself.  His eyes only opened when he watched her bite her only finger – enough to draw blood.  This same blood she traced along his lips.  Wetting them till they were as crimson as her own.  He gazed at her, without word.  Only to run his tongue along his lips and taste the absolute sweetness of her gift.  He may have been kissed by a siren, but this…this was by far a greater prize.  Watching him.  He actually started to change, as the blood ran throughout his veins.  Awakening him and even making him appear a little less ragged and worn.  Like the fountain of youth, her blood was like the key to the ultimate prize.
Only then, did he show something that could be considered a genuine smile.  Set against his weathered features, it was unique as it was handsome.
Louis may not have realized it at that moment, but he was now hers….for eternity.
~
DC:   “Well look at this pair of birds, the annoyance of Xzilia actually bewitched a man?” The sharp and annoying sounds of a particular man ruined her happy thoughts. A scowl formed as she looked at Thomas and his daughter, apparently about to shop.

“Oh my! Is this the captain you spoke so highly of?!” His daughter grinned and rushed over to shake his hand. She was not from this time, but had her best in showing she was. And you could tell her color was yellow of any shade.

As her father teased Xzilia to extents unknown his daughter praised the Louis a little too happily.

“We are really grateful you kill those men with no mercy. I don’t know if Xzilia was able to tell you, you two seemed to be doing other loving things, but we are skilled marksmen. At least my father is a marksmen and I’m a scout. What I am saying is we are both highly skilled with guns.”

~
RB-  Louis only pulled away from Xzilia on the sound of a man’s voice as he approached the pair.  Talk about bad timing.  The vampire Captain and his lady were enjoying a quiet and private moment, only to have this buffoon spoil the scene.    it didn’t take much for Louis to see that Xzilia was just as annoyed if not more so than him.
Before he knew it, a young girl was boldy trying to shake his hand, whilst gleefully asking questions as to if this was the Captain that Xzilia had spoken of.  Louis’s eyes darted back to Xzilia with shrouded annoyance, before looking back at the girl and allowing her to shake his hand, before withdrawing it and letting it fall to his side.
“How did you know what had happened on board my ship?”
It was a reasonable question.  What happened out in the bay had not been relayed word for word, though the young girl acted as though they had been on the ship went the massacre took place.  It was almost as though the girl was trying to sell herself – as in explaining what she and her father were and how that made them useful.  To who?  Certainly not Louis.
“Why are you telling me all this?”
Louis raised a brow, his suspicions now on high alert.  The young girl’s eagerness was in contrast to her father’s jibes at Xzilia.
~
DC:   “Oh, I know everything that happened on that ship. I’m clairvoyant and Xzilia came to me earlier today to ask me to watch you.” She chuckled softly and answered his second question. “Plus, before we came to this era, my father was once a sailor. He didn’t do much but pillage the sea for his own gains. Then by force he ended up here. There is a lot of boring details but the reason I’m telling you this is maybe you could accept us as crew mate too!”

She may have been bold and acting beyond her abilities, but if it was to see her father happy instead of always fighting she would take the chances. As she was talking with Louis, Xzilia was doing something less cheerful.

She rubbed the bridge of her nose, arguing for Thomas to leave. Obviously he was having more fun than he thought and he wasn’t going to back down. He laughed darkly and ruffled her hair, skillfully and purposefully pissing her off. His daughter paid them no mind until she noticed the shadows pouring off Xzilia. A roar of anger possessed her and she stamped her foot as a scythe rose form the ground.

“I told you to LEAVE!!” She went after the laughing idiot, swinging and slashing at his running backside. His daughter gasps and called after him to stop, running off too. After a few moments of that Xzilia reappears from the shadows annoyed. “I am sorry Louis, so very , very sorry.”

~
RB- It was like experiencing something that you would see only on Jerry Springer.  People that came out of nowhere and started to mess with Xzilia, and of course, the ever chipper daughter talking up her father and his qualities.  Why could Louis sense that the pair of them would be even more trouble to him then Louana?  A sixth sense perhaps.  What bothered him most was that Xzilia had asked the girl to watch over him on the ship – like a second pair of eyes, to see how he performed in the course of duty.  He didn’t know whether to be extremely mad at this, or to think that she actually cared about how he acted on the high sea. Enthusiasm was one thing, but it was the father’s behavior towards Xzilia that really pissed him off.  Going as far as to play with her hair, like he was familiar to her.  Had Xzilia herself brought them from another time to this one, just as she had him?
Questions were starting to form in his mind, and none of them he liked.  He had just opened up to her in a way he had not with a woman in hundreds of years.  He tasted and accepted her gift….now this?
Seeing her run off after the man with her scythe slashing and swinging at the running man, Louis folded his arms angrily.  The girl gave chase, forgetting why she was even there, it seemed.  Only when Xzilia appeared out of the shadows, and offered repeated apologies, did Louis speak.
“Care to explain what the hell that was all about?”
Xzilia might have been annoyed, but Louis was far more.
~
DC:   “Yes, I will. You see I was in the future way before your time and was trying to travel back here, drunk off blood and the fact that I was a wanted felon. I wound up about a few years behind and was taken in by his daughter, who was basically raising herself. Spent a year there recovering from a time travel mishap when she admitted to me of her power. She was expecting me and therefore wanted me to bring her along. Well, at the last week of me staying I got so annoyed with her nagging I agreed, that was also when her father decides to show up out of the blue. He notices a giant time hole in the air, his daughter holding some strangers hand, and the fact of us walking though. Following us he wound up here on an extremely hateful term with me, his daughters explanation cooled his head to where he has to annoy and ruin my life but we have never been on good terms.”

As she spoke her shadows slowly dissipated and she calmed, as she walked to lean on a barrel her clothes changed without warning and turned into the ones she wore when she was leaving the bar. This meant either trouble was near or she was hungry. Xzilia talked about how a warp hole opened and that she did, right in front of her she subconsciously opened a time hole. A rough wind blew about whipping up debris and her hair and coat.

~
RB-  Listening to Xzilia with a raised brow, it was now becoming clear that she was nothing short of extraordinary.  The fact that she was able to transport herself and others to another dimension in time and space meant she was a time traveler – the kind that was only spoken about in legends.  Louis had his own secrets, and trinkets that he had gained along the span of his un life, but it did not compare to what Xzilia was.  Did it change the way that he felt about her?  No, it did however clear up some of the questions that he had in his mind.  Being a vampire as long as he had been, he had stayed youthful for so long, but his mind and his cold heart were old…very old.  She was far older.    At least now, the annoying little girl and her father were no longer bothering them, since Xzilia had scared the chap off with her scythe.  He could hardly blame her for the way she acted, he was far from amused at their familiarity.
As he was about to speak, Xzilia changed in her appearance – to the very same clothing that she was wearing when he first met her.  Why did she change?  The answer to that came quickly afterwards, with the opening of what must have been a time portal.  Wind blew about them both, and as he watched her hair flying about, her coat lifting and falling with the wind gusts, he could see she was about to leave him.
Did she bring this about on purpose, or did this time not have what she needed.  Louis went to reach for her, just as a powerful wind blew him back and he tumbled to the ground out of her reach.
~
DC:   She looked at him snapping out of a trance when he went tumbling. Not something that usually happened, shew wanted him with her but then again she wanted to surprise him with another gift. She smiled lovingly and whispered the tree magic words through the wind. She would be back in an hour, all he had to do was watch for the hole as she entered and it closed.

The wind ceased and she walked the silent black void of the Shadow Whisper, it had been awhile since she did this. Xzilia arrived at a particular time in an ally, a few minutes after she Louis followed inside the club. Eyeing Louis’s bike she made her way over to it and inspected it closely, nothing too complicated it could travel well. Placing her hand on the seat she shrank in into keychain size and picked it up.

Before she left however, she eyed to two beefy bouncers and found her stomach growling in pain. “Food, they will be food for giving me sarcasm…” And she made her way over, not even luring them completely into the back ally of the club. She gouged out their throats before they turned the corner, and covered in their blood she headed back in time.

~
RB-  And just like that she was gone.  Louis could hardly believe it.  He scrambled to his feet, and ran a few steps but there was nothing there.  The portal had closed and left him in this time, while she was off….somewhere, doing God knows what.  “Well shit.” he swore, raising his arms up and slapping them down against his side, before running his fingers through his hair once more.  This was when he remembered that he was still covered in blood.  He actually raised an arm and he reeked.  Louis’s face crinkled up as it wasn’t all that pleasant.  With the girl and her father gone, and of course no sign of Louana.
Not knowing how long Xzilia would be, or if she would return, Louis decided he needs to bathe, but where?  In this day and age, it was not like they had bathrooms.  Or even if there would be something he could use on the ship.  Thinking for a moment, he then remembers the tavern.  Maybe they had a wash room there, if he paid.  Course, he had money, so that was not an issue.  With the ship now being worked on, and no need to rush off and fight any more frenchies, he decided to go back up to the tavern and have that much needed wash.
Reaching the tavern, he spoke to the inn keeper, who pointed out where they had a copper bath.  In the room, a young servant girl was ordered to bring heated water from a large kettle out the back.  It would take a while to fill, and Louis took off his clothing behind a screen tossing them onto a chair, where they would be taken to be washed.  Coming out as naked as the day he was born, he stepped into the tepid waters, and sank down  till he was now leaning back with his arms hanging over the sides.
~
DC:   Walking back across the black void she found that bubbles were floating up around her. Feeling strange she tried to take a breath only to have lungs filled with water. Freaking out she basically swam to the other end and burst through the surface of the water coughing and hacking over the side. Where the blazes did she end up??

After catching her breath she noticed where she was and her eyes widened, knowing exactly where she was now cause her to whip her head to the side and notice she was between the legs of Louis and his smug little face.

“Jezzus!!” She shouted and fell out of the tub, smacking her head with a loud crack. Growling in pain she curled into a little ball so she didn’t have to look at Louis. “I brought…” The rest was mumbles. Not only was she soaked but the clothes and blood clung to her as if to say don’t let us go.

~
RB-  It is the oddest thing to have the water suddenly have bubbles popping as though he had just let one rip.  Course, he hadn’t, which is why his eye twitched.  Suddenly there was a rumble beneath the surface of the water and it was then that Xzilia made her spectacular return from wherever in hell she had been.  Her shrieks however made him second guess himself and he looked down into the waters at his flacid member.
“What?  Not seen a man naked before?”  He asked her as she fell out of the bath and cracked her head on the stone cold floor below.  She was bloody, wet….and oddly enough curled up in a ball.  Lazily, Louis made his way over to her side of the tub and looked over with his arms folded just hanging outside of the bath.
“You sure have a way of sneaking up on someone.” Louis shook his head and then suddenly had a wonderful idea.  “This bath is big enough for two.  Why not take off those clothes and let me scrub your back.”
What an offer.
~
DC:   Rolling over she looks up at him in a blazing blush. To answer his question, the nearest she seen a man naked was underwear. A 5 billion year old virgin lay in his wake and she basically had her eyes raped by unlucky surprises. However, the offer of a warm bath did sound inviting and she wouldn’t mind if it was with Louis.

Sitting up, her coat making a wet peeling sound, she crawled her way over to him and smiled. Softly pecking his forehead she withdrew his next gift, the bike he rode on the night they met. Considerably smaller and more durable the tiny bike had not broken and could even start with a button pressing. Much better shape than the measly boat.

“I went back to get this, didn’t know if you missed your time period or not.” And with that said she stood and started to peel of her clothes, while blushing heavily.

~
RB-  The blush that rose to her cheeks was an instant hit with Louis.  Nothing beat that.  Nothing at all.  He watched her with a cocky, amused expression as the slow peeling off of her wet clothing began.  Lucky Louis. That was what they should be calling him right now.  It was then that she produced something that he never thought he would see again.  His bike. Mind you, it was the size of something you would dangle on a key chain, but it was all in one piece.
“My bike.”  Yes, it was his bike.  He took it from her and toyed with it for a moment, before setting it on the small wooden stool that was next to the copper bath.  As much as he enjoyed her gift, it was what she was about to do, that he was looking forward to even more.  Louis slid back in the bath and let his eyes drink her in as she started to shed the wet clothing, that landed with a heavy splat upon the ground at her feet.  They had servants there that could pick them up, but that could wait.  He reached for the bath sponge and dunked it into the water, making light waves as he kept looking up at her.
“You’re blushing.  I like it.”  His voice had a deepness to it, as he gestured with the crook of his finger that she get in.  “Just turn around as you get in the bath, and let me do the work.”  Louis had no idea that she was a virgin of course, that was something he would need to find out…for himself.
~
DC:   She bit her lip nervously and made her way to the side of the tub. Spinning around she stepped her right foot in first then her left before sitting. Squeezing her eyes shut she relaxed herself closer to Louis and rand her hands along his lower legs. She felt his eyes always on her and found it to make her happy inside. Heart racing she removed her hands from his legs and played with her nails. What was he thinking right now?

Moving her hair out of the way she looked back at him and smiled. She didn’t care what he thought, why would he think so badly of her?

“Louis? I love you.” She hoped the words weren’t too strong she did in fact say those three magic words before she entered through the hole. Would he change his mind since she announced so soon?

~
RB-  Louis caught on quickly that she was nervous. It was the nervous way that she bit her bottom lip.  Gone was the wild girl that he had met at the start of their adventures, no this was more like the girl behind her.  One that Louis wanted as much to make his, as he was hers.  She should have known that in accepting her blood, that she was already inside of him.  Now, he wanted to do the same.  But only in a different way.  It was almost as though he could hear her heart racing.  Like a horse galloping across the wide open plains.  He watched as she sat herself back down, and then glanced back over her shoulder.  Her hair carefully moved back so he could see the nape of her neck, exposed – much like the rest of her.  He brought the sponge up out of the water, and it trickled back into the bath, making it the only sound in the room aside from her voice.  Louis started to wash her back, moving his hand across till she said those four words.
His hand stopped midway, the sponge getting squished between his fingers, till he let it fall back in the water.  Louis then used his arms, to wind around and bring her back properly to him, so that her head could rest on his shoulder – her face turned to his.
“I loved you from the first moment I saw you, Xzilia.”  His eyes burning into hers, as he bent his head and kissed her with all the love that he had inside of him.  The water sloshed up and over the bath, as his free hand caressed her lovingly.  There was no rush in his movements, but she would know that with him, she would always be safe.
~
DC:   She questioned why he had stopped, was her words that powerful. Her answer came when he dropped the sponge and wrapped her in his arms. Louis? She didn’t know what to do but accept the warmth she felt when he pulled her closer. Was this his way of love?

Love at first sight for him? She wanted to know how that was possible, but didn’t want to ruin the moment as her head was tilted upwards. She stared into his eyes and they spoke volumes as he came in for a kiss.

Wrapped in warmth and undying protection she ended the kiss with a giggle; that turned into happy laughter. She was aglow in her shadowy arts, the only light shining. She turned to Louis and rested her head on his chest as she giggled softly.

“Stone cold and sarcastic falling for me so easily, and being a vampire pirate.” Her fingers traced his chest gently, gathering little water droplets along the way.

~
RB- Was love at first sight possible?  Was the fact that this minx being able to create holes in space and time possible?  Truth was, anything was possible if you wanted it badly enough.  She reciprocated his kiss, and welcomed it with a shy giggle.  This then turned into greater laughter, as she relaxed within the tepid waters.  Louis now had an amused expression that she found his statement to be comical, when others might be taking it in a more romantic vein.  Yet the joy of her laughter was melded with the art of her shadow making, and she actually glowed as she spoke.  This showed that she did mean every word she had said to him.  Course, she had to tease him lightly for it – that went without saying.
“When is love ever easy, Xzilia?”
In any time, regardless of where they would be, the very fact that they could share a tender moment like this would be rare. Her fingers delicately tracing along his chest, as though toying with him.  Louis brought his own fingers up, to wind a lock of her hair around them, deciding to play along with her.  He could sense she was much like a skittered deer in her actions, and then he whispered something that might take her completely off guard.
“Have you ever laid with a man before?”

The Death of a Prince – SS.

Scene setting – Wrath Castle.

This story is co-written with five other writers; Temp, Candle, Moo, Zetta and Fu.

Temp:  Astaroth wasn’t having any trouble in the battle so far, but it seemed that Mammon’s army sure was. The two clashing armies were definitely taking casualties, but from what he could see…Greed’s army wasn’t winning. It was hard to tell though, considering the scale of the battle.

His mind was busy thinking about the best way to support Mammon’s army, and at the same time defend himself. The same warrior from Wrath had been pestering him throughout the battle, and he was getting rather sick of it. The elephant that he had tossed seemed to have been completely ignored by the warrior, as it flew past him entirely. The man had jumped up and over it mid-launch, giving him more time to think about what to do. Astaroth decided that he would go all in, and shot forward into the air, flying straight towards the warrior. His mouth was wide open as he flew towards the warrior in the air, magma spewing forth while he brought his large clawed hands forward. There was magma, claws, and the jaws of Astaroth now heading straight for this pesky warrior of Wrath.

While all this happened it seemed Mammon had decided to take on Gabriel himself, which was not something Astaroth had expected…or wanted. If he kept this up, Mammon was going to get himself killed.

– His aggravated mood just caused his body to twitch as his attention immediately went to the dick who dared to speak to him in such a tone considering he was missing a arm and was greatly at a handicap in this form. Leviathan’s sharp eyes looked straight into his soul as his arms gripped one another as tense as they possibly could as he took two steps closer , before a large lance appeared in his normal hand. The Prince of Envy’s hair began to float upwards as he held the lance behind him as if he was charging it , the air around him began to blow violently in a swirl before he uttered out –

”You don’t know how to shut the hell up. You are first…. ”

– Leviathan threw his lance towards at Gluttony with all of his strength . The Lance was coated with flames and it continued to spread outwards but the lance itself disappeared before it had touched Gluttony. A tunnel of flames would swirl around the two if successfully caught –

– The Veiled Male would appear next to Cecil as he was battling as he revealed his fully detailed form to him , intending on giving him aid.-

” You seem to need assistance. ”

– The Demon had said to him. He began to release more of his strength outwards which would seem vaguely similar to Leviathan’s himself . He threw a blade to the male to catch , a spare one he had alongside his main sword Eclipse which was known as Transcendance . –

” Take this , this will help you fight. ”

Moo:  Oh, this was brilliant! Mammon looked crazed…more than that…he looked beastly! The armor was something unrecognizable, intimidating, and just down right scary. But Gabriel loved the new look. Much more approachable! Her grin never faded even as she watched the armor morph. Instead, she looked more crazed, chuckling under her breath as she stared intensely. His first attack was to lunge at her. So they would be in close-combat after all! His sword came forward, directed for her throat. She hardly required a moment of thought before her flames were present over her body once more, working to manipulate her defenses.
Gabriel’s armor morphed suddenly, the chest plate adding its own new addition in Hell-Fire. It was as simple as a piece of metal that jutted up and out–square in shape, though it came out to a point. His blade would simply make impact and slide along the added plate, skimming past her throat instead. If there had been any cut made, she didn’t feel it. She erupted with laughter as her blade was brought up full force. Much like Baal’s fist had made impact with Mammon’s gut, she planned to do the same with her sword. The impact would surely cause it to crush through the armor. If her foe would attempt a killing blow in the first minute of battle, so would she. …If the blade made contact with his body, it would protrude from his back and the flames would roar back to life. Hell-Fire was known for never-ending pain and suffering. She could have him engulfed in a matter of seconds.
However, her foe was not to be under-estimated. Gabriel’s claw would move rather quickly to attempt to catch his blade, although the screams filled her ear and never seemed to end. In fact, her metallic claw would give them higher pitch due to the vibrations and scraping. She thought she would be driven insane with pleasure! “So much pain! Agony! Fear!” she cried out in excitement.
The crazed woman had no intention of noting her surroundings. Anyone who would dare interrupt their battle would be engulfed in her flame, no matter who’s side they were on. No, she would enjoy this! Let Mammon die!

Candle:  Completely missing the lance that was throne at him, Baal looked at whoever the person who’d threw the lance at him and made a dull facial expression. He only had one arm so fighting would be pretty interesting, especially since he was able to create a hellfire arm.
“A lance? Haven’t seen that in a while.” He said out loud while backhanding someone and sending them flying into some lava. Fighting Leviathan wasn’t really what he wanted to do, after loosing a arm he wanted to go back to his kingdom and get a new one.
With the darkness consuming the fighting, Baal decided to go ahead and slip out of the fight. Why fight when you weren’t fully capable of giving a good fight? With that in mind he began shoving and smacking the life out of people to leave this fight.

Zetta:  Cecil was so focused on stopping this problem for Gabriel he hadn’t put any real thought into a defensive for him, his maximum offense would maybe challenge the Dragon. But as he saw the beast finally turn it’s monstrous form completely towards him he was overcome with a feeling of disdain.. If he died here, how could he continue to protect his love!? Who would remain after this to make sure she remained on the throne!.. His eyes opened wide, he would just have to charge forward and hope to get through that torrent of black magma, which normally he might have been only able to fend it off for a few moments with his giant, organic boomerang but then he would still meet problems when completely engulfed in the incoming pit of a mouth. Unable to shift himself in mid-air he accepted his end; But would do as much damage as he could to the beast before then…
Yet that thought faded as he noticed another beside him, flying with him while he swung himself towards the jaws of the beast. That one handed him a blade, to which Cecil gladly released his other weapon, which would proceed towards the Dragon as par the carrying of momentum. He hadn’t known a thing about it, but he recognized a rune-blade, one capable of several special effects with the only guide-lining order being Cecil’s own will.. Then; He would continue with his attack, though with much more confidence this time. As the meters closed between the two opponents, the man told him that he was only here with the Gate-keeper now because he would help him. This was much needed as he was considering his end would be here, swarmed in a fire that his organic material could not completely resist, and he had put himself in a direct confrontation with it..

This weapon would be his, for at least this battle sequence, and he would carve out victory for his Lady, she would likely prevail against that wounded Prince. While he, her underling would subdue this beast with the help of a new ally. His arms were still bulk with additional massive strength, while he already had a great strength to boast, with this he could face those pyres for a decent bit. But upon clenching the blade in his hand his collective of might was bolstered to greater heights, seemingly doubling as his veins thickened and became much more denser and defined.. As the flames approached he swung his new-found sword horizontally, splitting the flames in two while charging a torrential attack of his own. He would dive inside of the beast as it’s mouth was opened wide, continuously clearing a way through the magma with the enchanted weapon. Waves of force swarming the internal sides of the dragon would slice the insides of the dragon, along with whatever the blade directly came across, intestines included.. Like this he avoided contact with those pesky scales, and like any dragon would exploit it’s weaker innards in it’s huge body. He willed a rune to break within, unaware of what exactly would happen but it seemed to allow him to slice through even the bones he came in contact with easily he would use one rune after another. After coming past four bone structures though the effect faded. But Cecil rapidly swung his arm back and forth, fanning away what would be certain doom as rushes of magma continued to form, burning his clothes, but the blade cut away most of what came at him. With his organically enhanced body, though the man was not charred quickly enough that he succumbed to enough pain to drop the blade. For each ember along his jacket and eventually skin he grunted in pain. The beast flew through the air and Cecil moved throughout it’s body fast through his way of projection.

All he could hope for if he was not sooner burnt to a crisp was that the body did not collapse as the ton of weight and gravity would have him unconscious for a good deal of time if not the entire remainder of the fighting. While then the swarming magma could pool on his fallen body. Cecil was prepared for a lighter landing though, he could recognize a descent however and act against impending death.

Razorbackwriter:  This was the moment that all had been waiting for. Gabriel and Mammon going head to head in a battle that was fast as it was brutal. The Beserker armor was now in control. The wearer – Mammon was nothing more than a puppet within. A life force that continued to live till the last drop of blood was to spill from his body. Without a doubt, Gabriel was a formidable opponent. She had talents and abilities that far outstripped the weaker Princes of Hell. She had proved this in her fights previous and it was the reason that Belial and her son were now dead. Course….not everything always goes as planned.

In the effort by Mammon to strike Gabriel through the throat, she had conjured her hellfire to create armor plating that would block the strike of the blade tip and send it off course to shoot down the side of her neck instead. The strong sound of the blade striking the hellfire armor would be like nails down a black board. Sending a shiver through the spines of those with weak minds. The armor, then did something unusual. In a reaction so swift, the Prince of Greed flung his arm outward and released the blade handle from his hold as he muttered an incantation in rhefugi….which said simply.

“Wah-teae!” (translation : “Home!”)

The sword shone as it de-materialized and vanished from sight. Where would it land, you might ask? Right at the feet of Lydia. The Beserker’s armors owner.

The oncoming sword strike from Gabriel would strike true, slicing right through Beserker as it was planned all along. The armor was spliced, the sword going right through the body of Mammon – who screamed out in shock, but not in pain. He was too far gone for his mind to feel. Blood was pouring out of his back forming a rich puddle upon the floor. The hellfire of the blade now ripping through the insides of suit and lighting up the eyes of the Skull helm like a jack-o-lantern. Gabriel’s attempted grab of the sword that no long was there could have left her flailing, but it was doubtful. She would no doubt be delighted to have made the sword strike.

Now the Prince of Greed was face to face with the Princess of Wrath. The final moments were going to be the most sweet. The jaw of the skull armor opened and a foul green looking mist appeared as the dying words of Mammon rang out a curse that was to plague Gabriel till she could find a way to stop it.

“Efzofesu ez fas uail afdu pilzy, bal es qedd xy qalzy. Sa berws deny o tof, uai qedd xypaty afy. Sez tu kuefr qezw ofk za rlofsyk qesw WEZ xdyzzefr. Sedd kyosw patyz, uai qedd xy deny OKOT! O TOF YFYL TALY!”

(translation : “Insanity is not your only curse, for it will be worse. To fight like a man, you will become one. Tis my dying wish and so granted with HIS blessing. Till death comes, you will be like ADAM! A MAN EVER MORE!”)

The castle was then rocked by a massive shock wave as the Beserker armor started to break apart. Each piece vanishing and only to leave the pathetic form of Mammon on his knees. Clutching the blade that was within his body. Death like eyes stared up at Gabriel till rolling back into his head and he fell forward.

No other word said.

Do or Die – SS

Scene setting : Wrath Castle.

This story is co-written with five other writers; Temp, Moo, Zetta, Candle & Fu.

Temp:  Astaroth had been stomping towards Mammon from behind, still at a decent distance from him. It was becoming more and more clear that something was wrong with his fellow Prince, but there was little Astaroth could do about it. Whatever was causing this change would have to be addressed after the battle. As the massive demon marched forward on all fours, he once again caught a glimpse at the persistent warrior from earlier. This warrior seemed obsessed with doing whatever he could to try and hamper his actions, though was unsuccessful. Now the warrior seemed to be hurling things at him, which seemed to consist of balled up chunks of soldiers. Honestly, it made him laugh just seeing other soldiers used in such a way. It was actually pretty interesting to have giant balls of living and dead soldiers chucked at you. Astaroth continued to march forward towards Mammon, despite the objects being hurled at him. He didn’t bother dodging them, and instead relied on his armored hide to protect him from any damage. When the ‘balls’ actually hit him they exploded into chunks of meat, bone, and armor. They were similar to the cannon fire that he shrugged off earlier, but they carried much more impact than he anticipated. While the damage they caused was minimal, it did actually make him stop for a moment to shake it off.

And then there were the elephants. The warrior actually managed to snag up these large creatures and toss them at him. Astaroth knew better than to ignore these, based on how the much smaller ‘balls’ had surprised him. He immediately stood up completely on two legs, now towering over everything in the battlefield. As the elephants got close to him, he would smash them back into the battlefield with his arms and tail, using the limbs like a baseball bat. This was of course stalling him from moving forward as fast as he would like, but he did manage to press forward regardless. As he got closer and closer to Mammon, he actually caught one of the elephants by using his jaws and his hands. With the creature now in his grasp, he began to pour the magma from his mouth onto it. As soon as the magma made contact with the creature, he pulled his arms back and then hurled the giant magma coated creature directly at the warrior that had thrown it.

Prince of Envy’s Entrance Theme

– In the skies above the war , a ear popping noise can be heard and felt as clouds parted as a speeding winged figure could be seen with a trail of clouds at the tips of his feet ; his wings would soon close as the person descended and crashed into a large group of soldiers hailing from Mammon’s land and in that following moment would be thrown into the air and flew in varying directions . A large cloud of smoke had covered the crater in which the person flew in from , a soft sighing sound was heard from within the smoke and what followed was a giant release of purple flames which went skywards towards the sky. –

” I can’t stay away . . . . ”

– The voice said and all who knew him would instantly recognize it to be Envy , but in the next second the smoke had cleared and they would see Envy’s back and his arms as he had his back turned to them . His muscles tensed up until some of his veins were present and bulged outwards , something which was quite odd as Envy was not known to display any emotion of this caliber before. He would then at this moment finish his sentence and began to turn around –

” WITHOUT SOMETHING HAPPENING TO THE NEW PRINCESS OF WRATH ! ”

– Envy’s face had shown a fierce glow to it , he yelled from a distance , although he was more closer to Gluttony and Mammon then the two which was getting closer . He didn’t know which one of them incited the war but his eyes were sharp , sharper then anyone that has ever been seen before . His demonic clawed arm would engulf itself in a thick ball of flame as his other arm began to swirl inwards as if summoning something –

” This balance of power is always tipping , but I swear this will be the last time someone causes trouble today in the kingdom of wrath ! ”

https://i1.wp.com/i58.tinypic.com/ftzc6a.gif

” It would seem my time on this battlefield is done for now. . ”

– The Veiled Figure at this moment of noticing the Prince of Envy had jumped backwards into two soldiers clashing and absorbed them into a void , apparently dissappearing from the battlefield . For what reason however was unknown but it could be inferred due to the Prince of Envy’s appearance that had changed his decision of participating in this battle or there was the case scenario he would wait until there was a reasonable objective worthy of his hands to resume his battling , even though he took a passive approach to it all –

Candle:  With his arm severed and his now gone arm bleeding profusely, Baal looked at the arm and looked back up at Mammon. “Cute.” He said while grabbing his former arm and squeezed it tightly. Loosing the arm wasn’t such a big deal, he’d always get a gold one or perhaps a weapon.
With the arm gripped, Baal backed away and transferred his hellfire into the limb and watched his arm engulf in flames. It was too the point of which he couldn’t hold it anymore so he backed up and chucked it at Mammon. Basically his arm was like a grenade except the shrapnel would be flesh. It certainly was something new he’d done before and it seemed like a nifty idea.
Gaining his distance, Baal was pretty useless without his other limb. But he could still take down soldiers even with a handicap. Tripping a passing by soldier he laughed slightly and then stomped down on his head. The sound of a head caving in with just a simple stomp made up for the blood squirting out.
Letting Gabriel take hold of him seemed like a good idea, after all she did kill Belial. But Leviathan’s appearance to the battle just made his head cave in. Why would a Prince who absolutely did nothing except have the most annoying personality be here? “Oh look boy wonder came to save the day, I hope you didn’t bring girl scout cookies you bleeding cunt.” Baal said annoying while elbowing a soldier hard in the chest and waited for Leviathan to die.

Moo:
The war cries, clanging of weapons, and the piercing of armor melted together in a perfect symphony. It was as if this was Gabriel’s orchestra. They played just for her, screaming in agony or anger. The smell of death polluted the air about her kingdom, possibly drifting toward the others. A play for all to see. And when the curtain would fall…who would be left to bow before the audience? Gabriel smiled as she crossed the battle field at a swift pace, feeling joy bubble within her. Oh yes, the play was coming to an end.

Her forces had ferociously taken care of Greed’s army, and with less time to prepare. If they had marched into battle themselves, who could have measured the destruction the kingdom’s forces would cause! She felt utterly giddy, even in watching the scene play out before her. Movement within the air had especially caught her attention. Large masses of bodies flew through the air and she grinned, a wholehearted laugh sounding. Elephants? Her laughter only grew. Mammon’s forces were dwindling far too fast for him to rely on. How would he retreat now, if given the chance? A wild look came to her eyes while her grin pulled from ear to ear, fangs protruding quite nicely. Her attention was back on him.

The scene in which was taking place could hardly phase her now, as she closed in. Only yards away. She took note of the close range being an issue. Yes…Baal did nicely in a sort of trial-and-error. Now Gabriel could work around that. And while Baal’s attempt had been…admirable…it was so damn stupid, she had to laugh again. More of a chuckle, as she watched him fling his arm at Mammon. He was certainly an interesting man.
Perhaps it would work as a distraction. She slowed to a trot, then stopped as she watched flesh explode. Whether or not it actually did anything for Baal, she didn’t care. She swung her sword to the side, blasting a wave of Hell-Fire toward her opponent. Perhaps testing the limits of this man’s armor was necessary, as the blow to the stomach seemed to have had done very little…if anything at all. The heat from the Hell-Fire came back in a rush, sending her hair back in a gust of wind. “I’m here for you, Mammon!” The excitement was very much present in her voice while her eyes lit up. Her sword swept back behind her, and her stance became more serious, despite her playfulness. She had a slight bounce to her step, and she couldn’t stop smiling. Her right hand–or claw, rather–lifted beside her head and balled into a tight fist. The sound of metal scraping against itself accompanied the movement. The fist uncurled and she lowered her arm slightly, cocking it while her claws spread themselves…she looked as if she was ready to grab his head within it and just…crush.

Zetta:  Cecil had actively been throwing each and every one of those massive animals with all of his force. While his target seemed to be mostly shrugging off his opportunistic projectiles. The might of them both along with the distance between them made for even greater catapult-boulders being launched throughout the sky. As a meta-human he was only competing with the bestial one because he had enhanced himself beyond humanly possible, with tons of mass applied to a self-controlled powerful body. But even then, if he was to meet one of the elephants countered upon him he would have much more difficulty in catching it. So he began thinking ahead, after the first few where the Dragon had swatted them away he planted his arm into the ground.. He would create something huge with his own organs to be even more effective than he had already been. First; his hand dug deep into the ground, stretching beyond his normal reach like an extra-appendage and formed a large spike protruding upward. He had done so by planting his own cells into the ground below he was able to spread an influence inside of the Hellish earth itself. That spike spread out, gaining multiple other protrusions which would also seep into the ground after growing out a few meters.

This slaughtered most of those still alive on the side of the Greed army near Cecil and cleared him of worry from the grunt soldiers and magma creatures alike. The organic spiky appendages allowed that initial spike to reach 15 meters off of the ground, seeming more like a pinkish tree rather than an extended organ. This far above, the man who created it no longer could control his cells within them at the very top. While the Dragon tossed one flaming elephant back at Cecil, he had begun running along his extended organ. At the time of his leaving he would grab onto the tip of the organ and rip it off along with him, using it for additional momentum in this next move.. Leaping far above the projectile, at the exact same time it was thrown, making for a nice preemptive strike. In the midst of the air he spun himself rapidly, like an organic boomerang in the sky, it allowed him even more force as he’d challenge his target directly once more. He propelled himself forward now that he had the beast’ attention and would smash down onto him with the combination of his enhanced strength, gathered weight, and built-up momentum to try and match that monstrous might.

Razorbackwriter:  Standing upon a distant hill, Lucifer was now watching the spectacle below as his own creations were now all going against each other in a massive battle that rivalled anything on Earth. With arms folded and a sneer played out upon his lips for he could see the outcome from afar. There were to be great changes in the days that followed the death of the Prince that was for certain. The Greed army was suffering massive causalities at the hands of Cecil; who was using the Greed armies own battle elephants as living projectiles. The Dragon like Astaroth was doing all he could to strike the elephants back, but the losses beneath the falling bulk were of the hundreds. The lands were broken, black and blood estuaries ran throughout the trenches. The disembowelled and decapitated bodies lay scattered as far as the eye could see, whilst torn banners were flapping lazily in the wind.

And to think…it was women that caused all of this.

At the mouth of the Castle, the two former allies; Baal and Mammon were now locked in battle as the Prince of Gluttony had taken Gabriel’s side. It would be a choice that proved costly. Baal’s arm was completely severed by Mammon, when his blade struck true to the elbow of his foe. While Baal backed up and tried to stop the bleeding that was spurting out of the torn nub, Mammon snarled violently at the Prince of Gluttony. Baal charged his own arm with hellfire as he chuckled at the Prince of Greed. With a forceful throw, he hurled his torn limb at Mammon which hit with an explosive squelch. The arm disintegrating into disgusting flesh remnants that slid down the front of the Beserker armor and formed a puddle upon the floor. Was that supposed to hurt? Within the amor Mammon felt nothing. No pain…but he was slowly losing his mind. Mammon took a step towards Baal, but this was when Leviathan – Baal’s true rival finally decided to make an appearance. Naturally, Baal would want to face that bastard, even with his loss of limb. To Mammon, Baal was no longer a player in this game. He had just been a tool to Gabriel’s needs. Whether he realized it or not. Now, Mammon changed direction after hearing that the sly slag was singing out for him.

“I’m here for you, Mammon!”

The skull helm turned towards the direction of the voice, as the background behind him was apocalyptic. This was what Mammon had come for and this was to be his greatest moment – with or without an army. The Beserker armor appeared to grow – the chest expanding, and the skull face now more inhuman than ever. Chitorous like plates were now locking together right across the front, back and limbs. It was like watching the final preparation of a tank like creature – more than a normal suit of armor. The head had massive spikes protruding and the shoulders now had bone like appendages that gave it a terrible menace. The eyes of burning fire watched Gabriel almost go into a dance as she made her approach. The hell fire causing her hair to be blown back – as she swung her weapon with her left hand to create a surge of fire that was to engulf the beserker armor worn by Mammon. The roar of the heat of the flame was met with a sick and twisted laughter that emitted through the mouth of the skull helm. ”Trying to roast marshmallows? Typical!”

Time for talk was over, the Beserker armor now more skeletal in form with the fire blazing upon it, started a run at the Demon of Wrath. His own right hand clutching the Soul collector, which he wielded directly towards Gabriel’s throat in a move to drive the blade of the weapon straight through. This was a split second decision, which was unusual as he was taking the girl head on. He could not see her wearing anything that would block such a strike .

The point of no return – SS

Scene setting : Wrath Castle

This story is co-written with five other writers; Temp, Moo, Zetta, Candle and Fu.

Temp:  The battlefield, if you could still call it that, was a nightmare becoming reality. Blood and bodies littered the floor. Lost limbs and organs bounced around among the soldiers feet. Fallen weapons bounced about and stabbed those that fell or stepped in the wrong direction. Cannon fire blew living and already dead soldiers into bits. Arrows pierced everything in sight. The ‘battlefield’…was a fucking mess.

Astaroth narrowed his vision and spotted the pesky warlocks that were doing everything they could to contain his Magma creatures. Now that he caught sight of them, he began repeating his earlier attacks at the battlefield, but instead focused on the warlocks. He hurled the Black magma fireballs at every single one he could see, blowing them up mid-cast. This of course created more Magma creatures, which were now devouring all they could find within the inner walls. He hadn’t followed the actions of the warrior that had tried to fight him earlier, but he eventually took notice of him. Whatever the warrior was doing, was definitely…different. Though, he still really didn’t care about this warrior, as he was busy dealing with the more pressing issues. While one warrior of immense strength was definitely a problem, he would never put a one-on-one fight before taking out the main forces.

Eventually some of the forces of Wrath decided to try and attack him, hurling spears and arrows and even directing cannon fire at him. The thick scaled skin that he possessed made all these attacks bounce off, almost like what they were using against him were nothing but toys. His loud and blood curdling laughter could be heard throughout the battlefield. As messy and screwed up as this fight was…it was still amusing. He figured that if he had actually marched here with his army, they would have won fairly quickly. That of course would have meant he wouldn’t have been able to make a surprise appearance and have any fun though…so maybe this wasn’t so bad.

Upon catching a glimpse of Mammon, he felt a slightly disturbing feeling…was this worry? The Prince of Greed was not exactly acting like his usual self. What was the cause of this exactly? Baal’s betrayal could have been a possibility, but that seemed like it was just a piece of the puzzle. Whatever it was that was causing Mammon to act so strangely would have to remain a mystery. Fearing that The Prince of Greed was losing his grip on the actual battle, Astaroth decided that it would be best to get closer to him. He pressed off of the tower that he had been grasping onto, breaking the building into bits which fell down onto the soldiers below. As he flew through the air, he aimed his massive body at an area behind Mammon, obviously not wanting to turn him into a pancake. Before he landed he cleared his landing zone of anything in the way using his Black fireballs. As soon as Astaroth made contact with the ground, the ground below and around him would break apart and fling into the battlefield around him, causing more death. Now on the ground, the Magma began to drip down from his mouth, creating more creatures as he began to stomp forward. Anything that got in his way was immediately eaten and blown to bits by his Magma creatures, paving a clear path towards Mammon.

Candle:

Baal listened to what Mammon had to say and let out a deafening laugh. It was a very deep and disturbing laugh that would make any sane person cower in fear. With a soldier in his gigantic hand, he bit off the head and chewed on it like a piece of beef jerky.
The chewing noise made some soldiers get sick to there stomach and run away, but the blood flowing down the back of his throat made him release pleasurable moans. His muscles in his arms tightened a little bit more and his arms gained mass. At this point Baal looked like a massive tank. “I will rip the hide from your back and eat it in front of you! Replying back to Mammon as the path was now cleared.
With the magma creatures exploding and clearing out the people in front of his target, Baal stared down the man who was sort of his friend. He tolerated Mammon but from time to time, there was thoughts of murdering this pretentious prick. Except now he could actually murder him and be as disgusting as he wanted. Maybe if he actually did kill Mammon he’d skin his face off and wear it just to be even scarier than normal.
Now that he was in front of Mammon, Baal stared at him with the eyes of a man who knew there was no turning back now. He used his nail to slit his wrist and suck the blood into his mouth, with blood covering his face he let out a demented smile. His hands began engulfing in wine red flames, with that In mind he let out a loud roar and charged straight at him with going in for a good firm blow to the gut.

Moo: Gabriel had long since started moving again. Originally, she would have aimed to fight Astaroth off her tower. The damn moron was causing too much damage to her castle, as well as cutting down on her forces after killing a handful of warlocks. She whistled loud and long, and a new handful ran out from the castle, taking cover where they could while they aimed to contain the magma once more. The rest was a lost cause.
Cannons were aimed for the large animals and orcs covering the fields around the kingdom’s walls, reducing their numbers slowly but surely. The fact that her own orcs and animals were in the fields made it exceptionally harder to hit targets without creating their own casualties. Thus, bowmen would help slow some creatures in the front and their own creatures would fight them in their weakened state. Cannons focused on the back row, taking out one or two with each blast.

It was due to Mammon’s voice that she would dismiss the black dragon.
And I’ll make you cook and eat your own flaccid cock! You treacherous pig!
Laughter followed what could be classified as a threat as Gabriel’s shoulders shook. She tossed her head back, tears forming in her eyes. Not a day and she had managed to cause such chaos! Two friends were at each other’s throats. Or so she thought. However, no clang of blades had followed. Her expression sobered as she peered out to the battlefield in curiosity.

COME FACE ME, YOU STINKING TART. I CAN SMELL YOUR FISHY SNATCH FROM HERE!
Hell-Fire ran down her body as she laughed again, though with a dangerous look in her eyes. Gabriel was finally being challenged. In a comical way, as well. She gripped her sword and it immediately seemed to roar back to life with flames. The size grew once more, the blade becoming black as obsidian, glowing in places with embers. Surely, it would pierce his armor as easily as any other soldier on the field. The flames in which ran over her body had dispersed for the most part, only decorating her new armor. It looked much like the material in which made up her golden claw. Its durability would withstand most materials. Even some of the strongest steel would not penetrate where she was covered with it. And much like her sword, it seemed to be eternally burning. Light hit the armor and it would glow as if embers were embedded in several areas. Where fire spread across her horns previously, there was a physical crown of the same features. Gauntlets, boots, shoulder pads… everything was present to cover her body.

Astaroth had moved then, crumbling her building in the process. Gabriel rolled her eyes. While she’d been prepared to dash into battle, this would serve as a momentary distraction. Screams were silenced as large rocks tumbled onto a few dozen of the troops surrounding the building. “Idiots!” she snarled at her now dead men as she looked back. Others around the rocks had been momentarily stunned, but were now climbing over the mound or running around it, crying out for vengeance as the followed the black dragon, catching on-coming forces of greed. “The lot of you,” she continued in a low growl.
This battle ground was such a mess. Baal had once again attempted to make contact with his friend. He was using his fists as well. Gabriel’s curiosity perked slightly. As to why Baal was weaponless, she didn’t know. But she caught a glimpse of a headless spear on the ground a few feet away. While she’d avoided Astaroth in running, she now saw him making an effort to catch up with Mammon as well. So this would be a four-way fight? She flipped her bangs out of her face before her arm hooked down and slightly outward as she began running at an inhuman speed toward the pair of men. Once she and Astaroth met the pair, it would be chaos.
Yet there was no question of who would walk away from this battle alive. A smile tugged at the corner of her lips, pulling it up until she looked demented…crazed…as battle lust became very much present in her eyes. “I will slaughter you, Mammon!” she called out in an excited tone. “You just wait for me.” To herself now…a chuckle followed.

Zetta:  His eyes glazed over everything but everything else had been deadened. Hours into the war: His sense of hearing picking up every individuals screams and shouts, mortal cries and dying breaths. So he decided to close his ears entirely with a thin strip of flesh grown over his internal ears. He was pit in a battle-field in Hell even though he was human, he was always a monster on Earth, but here he seemed to belong. Fighting on the side of wrath for his own guilty pleasures. After awhile he shut his ears to the noise of dying men around him so he could focus more, without being able to clearly decide who he would listen out for and who did not deserve such courtesy he was forced to concentrate only on what was before him. Those who had attacked him, stuck axes, spears, and swords inside of his body were now mostly only torn top-halves hanging onto a handle. The length of their weapons being the only thing that kept them hanging on despite their latch being a bloody locomotive adding more and more chances that the ground soldiers of Gabriel would overwhelm the other side. Cecil was doing his best still to keep the Dragon in his sights, where his black fires had swarmed the castle-tops and seemed to be creating more minions at his disposal.. A truly damaging attack. It incinerated his enemies and gave birth to newer, possibly stronger spawns that would do their own hurting to the army of Wrath.. The man thought it was enough to not allow him another position on the ground below, but that was no longer the case, he became even more dangerous while left alone in that vast sky. Limited to ground assaults, even while slicing apart the opposition of conjoined forces, Cecil quickly created ways for himself to reach such heights as a flying beast.

Minutes into his own foreshadowing of an aerial attempt he was constantly defeated by the reality that was gravity. No man would fly on his own, he was plagued by the thoughts of uselessness, while being gate-keeper it was his job to ensure no one besieged the forces of Wrath and managed to directly damage the Kingdom.. Yet what was a man capable of terrorizing the ground against one who could fly, even if he could get close, what would he be able to do to such a massive creature spewing such dangerous blazes.. Then, through his flesh-coated ear-drums he heard the shouting of that one with the armor, and immediately uncovered his hearing. Right as he leaped a few meters into the air and managed to catch a polearm’s blade end just before it impaled him, clapping it between his hands and snapping the thing off of it’s hinges. In a swift motion he kicked the attack to the side, continuing to twist his body to kick another of Greed’s soldiers across the face. He held himself up just a bit with the pole arm and then smashed his feet into the faces of the two men he’d kicked, landing perfectly upon them before he continued moving forward. He heard his following words, that to disrespect his Lady and grunted lowly in anger. His eyes widened as he became filled with this passionate emotional fire burning within him, yet her response did not match Cecil’s same hate for that one. She replied callously, promising death for him.. For Mammon.. He would remember that name throughout all of this, and instead of allowing himself to be defeated by his inability to fly on his own, he would do as Lady Gabriel did. Harness that rage into pure murderous intent. He would have to stop that Dragon by any means…

First he turned to one of the flaming spawns he had created, quickly realizing that he was surrounded only by enemies now as the remains of Mammon’s army came forth. Cecil drove his bladed limbs directly through it’s chest and tossed it at a group of others, then spun himself totally and extended his arms outwards. Destroying those in his immediate place. Then he stopped, perfectly halting himself with a firm foot-plant onto the ground, his eyes caught up with his movements, never ones to become dizzy even with twirling havoc going on. He did this to leap at another, taking an armored punch to the face, loosening a tooth in his mouth only to ignore this pain and reach for the other’s face. Squeezing it in his palms. The one beside was shocked at this inhuman feat, but was then grabbed up as well. Quickly; Cecil hurled both men at the Dragon with immense strength.. Demonic baseballs, if he would have thought to name them, were coming towards the black-magma shooting behemoth above the Castle. The corrupted meta-human continued this, as he was deep in Mammon’s forces at this point, nearby were those gigantic elephant-creatures he rode in with. Cecil would finally smirk, finding a pleasure in his finally having ammunition to combat that Dragon.. His bladed arms were shaped into added muscles on his already great showing of physical prowess, though he was heavier with this added mass, he saw no need to move much anymore. As he would be relying on his supernatural perception and precision.. With his strength manipulated to a maximum of iron-crushing might. The elephants themselves were massive, at least 10 tons individually along with the catapults they were attached too, but being thrown by an enhanced Cecil, were now breaching 40 tons. He would be tossing them too, as there were plenty to use, he’d beam them at the Dragon until he hadn’t anymore.. But the army of Greed really was one of the largest…

Razorbackwriter:  They say Greed is a powerful force and none so more powerful when coupled with hatred. Combine the two and you have the makings of greatness, or folly. In the Prince’s mind previous to going to war, he had thought that the Beserker armor was the best in the land and so he wore it with a callous disregard to himself. That moment that he placed on the helm of the skull had completed the dark gnomes enchantment and the wearer was to become one with the power of the suit. But little by little, with every footstep, every move of the hand of a clock; the armor was taking him over. Mammon’s mind inching; closer and closer to the abyss of madness. All around him chaos unprecedented. His armies though having fought well on their mission to destroy the castle, were now coming under a ferocious attack from Gabriel’s supporters. Even his own battle elephants were being hurtled through the air like toys in an effort to crush waves of the Greed army. Desperate cries, and screams went unheard as the Prince of Greed now homed in on the very one that had brought about such hatred. Gabriel. Oh, she had heard his vicious and ridiculous taunts and had met them all with a sick and twisted laughter. She found his intentions to be futile as they were ill placed. He had no allies save Astaroth, who was doing all in his power to clear a way to be behind the Prince of Greed in what would be his final hours. Astaroth had sensed the change in the Prince of Greed. Never before had he been this bold to attack another kingdom. Regardless of how the change in the crown had come to be. Sure, he hated women, but this was not the Prince at all. The Beserker armor was now the driving force of this quest to reduce Gabriel to a sizzling pile of gloop and excrement.

The skies were now alight with the colour of fire and brimstone, the air rich with the stank of death and rot as the earth was reclaiming the same bodies it had brought up to serve the Prince of Greed. All around warriors were valiantly staving off what was to come. The complete destruction of the Army of Greed. Mammon may not have been able to see the carnage behind him but he was now void of all feeling and emotion.

His closest; Baal had betrayed him. The vile and pathetic excuse of a true Prince of Hell was now answering to Mammon’s wicked taunts. Had the Beserker truly gotten under the Prince of Gluttony’s skin? For him to start a run at Mammon with his fist being drawn back in an effort to make a single attack to strike at the Prince of Greed’s gut was a tell tale sign that he was not thinking at all with his head. Maybe the blood was in his cock after all. The Beserker skull helm altered as the more sinister vision of the sickly white skull started to show through. Inhuman. Mammon gripped onto the handle of Soul collector with a frightening menace as you could hear the creak and strain of the armor. Almost fusing itself to the blade. Then…it happened. Fist met gut with a sickening crunch that would have sent Mammon back stumbling, but his right foot was back slightly to reinforce his stance. Like lightning the left hand rocketed out to seize Baal’s wrist in such a grip that would break the bone of a mortal. Now he had him. With all the embodied hatred of the armor, the twisted and insane mind snapped. The Soul collector blade raised and slashed down to slice Baal’s arm from the elbow. Yes. The blade cried out – its two hundred souls wailed as it was about to be joined by another. ~SHLICK!~ With Baal’s arm being severed from the body, blood was sure to spurt out and form a sickly puddle on the floor, or spray Mammon.

Betrayal at the battlements – SS

Scene setting – Wrath Castle.

This story is co-written with five other writers – Temp, Moo, Zetta, Candle and Fu.

Temp:

Astaroth moved alongside Mammon, charging straight into battle. There was clearly something different about Mammon, though there was no real way of knowing what that something was. Whatever it was likely didn’t matter, if anything it was a good thing, seeing Greed so bold and bloodthirsty. The battlefield was of course quite a mess, filled with soldiers and beasts clashing and spilling each others blood. Normally Astaroth wouldn’t be this involved with the combat, as he preferred watching his troops do as he commanded. This situation was a bit different though, and he had decided to make a personal appearance. His army was ready and prepared to march to this Kingdom, but he felt they wouldn’t get here in time to make a significant difference. Since he was able to teleport, he decided to do so and act as a one man army. The tole he would suffer after going back to his normal form would be large, but hopefully it would be worth it.

As he watched Mammon choose a solitary target, who looked rather different in comparison with the Wrath army, he decided to focus his attention on the foot soldiers. Astaroth barreled through the soldiers of Wrath, crushing them as he ran through their ranks. Although he was simply smashing things in his path, he was still very much aware of the battle going on around him. His head was moving in different directions to analyze the angles that a surprise might come from, and he had to keep some of his attention on the sky above in case of projectiles. Such things would hardly leave a scratch on him, but there was no sense in ignoring things being hurled through the sky. As he continued to pounce forward he looked up and took note of a flying object, which he kept his attention on. He wasn’t sure who or what the being was, but it was clearly not your average soldier. As it began to descend towards him he snarled and slammed his limbs into the ground below him, though at an angle. Using this angle and the sudden momentum he shot himself forward and to the side in a large burst of speed, moving away from the falling objects path. Right now he wasn’t trying to fight solo enemies, but rather weaken the Kingdoms defenses and foot soldiers. So for now, he was doing everything he could to avoid these solo fighters. Now that he was away from the falling object, he continued to run forward at full speed, clearly heading for the wall.

Eventually he would make his way up onto the walls of the Kingdom, easily ripping through the forcefield that was created. He jumped up onto the highest point he could find, which enabled him to look down at the battlefield. Using his new found position he opened his mouth and let out a loud and crippling roar all around him. His mouth remained open, and from within magma began to drip out and fall down below him. After a moment of watching the fight, he began to move his hands to his mouth, which he would use to hold onto the magma. As he did so it would become black and distorted, forming into a large blurry black fireball. He began to hurl these down at the soldiers, as well as the Kingdom around him. After exploding and sending chunks of dead soldiers and beasts hurling through the air, the Magma would form into disgusting creatures. They would begin to wail and crawl towards those loyal to Wrath, due to Astaroth controlling them and commanding them to do so. As they found organic life they would explode once again, sending more corpses flying. Astaroth let out another roar as well as a long and satisfied laugh at the carnage, clearly finding the battle amusing so far.Fu:

– The Veiled Man had stood there silently as the man clad in dark armor had came at him with high speeds and attempted to swing his powerful blade at him in the pursuit of cutting him down but the man retaliated by turning his body in the opposite direction and swing his blade just as fast at the blade that had came at his left hip . A large shockwave would be released around them as a result of their blades clashing , the blades had shook violently against one another as the Veiled Man’s appearance was partially seen through the dark veil which had cloaked him in its entirety. His light purple-blue skin was seen , and his spiky white hair but only for a second as his blade Eclipse released a loud noise and vibration , the sensation and nostalgia would echo off in the form of the Leviathan Queen of 2 generations previous , Demonic Aura and presence is well known for being different for each person and moreso recognizable easily if they are royalty or were in their day, this blade had held her might . –

” You own a extremely powerful blade. That much is for certain”

– The Veiled Man would push his blade forward upwards to cause her to stagger as he had leaped backwards, his darkened figure would begin growing hazy as he had jumped. If he had leaped at him at this time he would have entered a portal in the form of his hazy body and be transported to the closer region of the castle , there he would find the two princes that he was looking for . If he hadn’t , he would have done more flips backwards until he had returned to his physical state and continued battle if that had been his choice. –

Candle:  After making a man’s head pop with ease, Baal stared at soldiers. Oh how scared they looked against him, there trembling faces and shaking bones made him feel alive. It made him feel some type of feeling that he never normally got, most likely because he was a menacing psychopath that only Hell could tame.
Grabbing another soldier, Baal held him out horizontally and ripped his body in half. Using the separated body he chunked it at someone and listened to the thud as a soldier dropped to the ground. With blood on now onto his face the scent of blood made him close his eyes and sniff the beautiful scent in. Now that the scent of blood was in his system the now normal Baal would be turned into a monster who committed such horrors.
Taking off his armored coat his muscles began to enlarge and so did he in height. At the sight of such transformation it looked absolutely disgusting, but it was necessary if he was going to live. His body morphed into a colossal demonic killing machine, when this happened there was no stopping him until the scent of blood was gone from his system. Baal kept the cigar in his mouth and grabbed his axe and turned it into a double sided spear.
Soldiers hesitated to charge at him so Baal charged them and impaled one after another on his spear. Body after body lined up on the cold Hell forged steel. Eventually the tips of the spear would become engulfed in flame, so he threw the spear in the air and caught it on side where there wasn’t any bodies. Then he used all of his imposed strength and tossed it at the direction of Mammon
“I will use your blood to create such a beautiful painting that even Picasso will congratulate me.” He yelled out with his booming hellacious voice.

Moo:  The large form of Astaroth proved problematic as he tore through the barrier. The warlocks around the castle could no longer maintain the force field, but it wasn’t as necessary. The cannons were fast at work until the number of the catapults had dwindled down until there were less than half remaining. It was a matter of minutes before a few more would be destroyed. The warlocks focused on protecting the soldiers instead, as the magma Astaroth created was tossed about the field, exploding on impact. Small barriers would surround them momentarily to avoid mass murder of the warriors in the way of the blasts. Instead of say, ten, only a few would take any hit.
Gabriel found herself feeling pleased while her claws smashed through some poor man’s stomach, clenching before she tore away the whole front of him. His stomach tore open, intestines dropping to the ground. She would simply lick her claw and it was another life added to her compilation. Oh yes, she was saving up for the finale.
Her armor was already completely stained with blood along her hands and arms. Her sword was heavier with the amount of carnage she’d collected. She had to give it a good swing to help rid some of the excess blood. Where she had been walking, there was a trail of bodies. Some headless, some cut in half. Others simply missed limbs…or like this poor bastard that crumpled before her…they missed flesh in certain areas.
An idiot swung at her from the left, his blade catching her arm with a clang. The armor in which trailed along this area would catch it before she turned her head to meet his gaze. His already wide eyes grew further. “It’s impolite to stare,” she said meekly. Her sword ran itself through his skull, penetrating the helm he wore as if it were simply tinfoil. That was the power of her Hell-Fire, as it improved her sword’s durability greatly. Her once simple blade had morphed until it was twice as large, curving slightly while it radiated bright red-orange flames.
These flames spread over the corpse upon contact. Had he not already been dead, he would have been screaming bloody murder. She frowned as she tugged at her sword once. The body came with it. Irritated, she pressed her foot against his chest and yanked her sword away. It made a sickeningly sweet noise as it left his head, blood spurting over her. She opened her mouth gladly, taking the blood on her tongue before swallowing. Yum! She made a noise of glee, obviously enjoying her killing spree.
Though admittedly it seemed that Baal was enjoying himself much more thoroughly. She would admire his strength from afar as he tore a body apart before laughing. That’s right! She would have this war finished before the sun set. Mammon would fail. And his head would decorate her throne room, along with Belial’s and Hex’s. A hall of fame, dedicated to those who fell to her feet. Those pathetic men deserved no better place than the floor at her feet. Maybe she would make a coat from his skin. Her blade lowered while she stared off into the distance, the circle of bodies around her giving plenty of warning to other warriors of greed. They simply did not want to fight her. Cowards, the lot of ’em.

Zetta:  The Gate-Keeper’s eyes were slit in the skies above from the incoming wind and limbs flying up to his level, his arms crossed in an x-formation before him to collect as much air as he could between his fingers to further halt his fall upon realizing his enemy to be fleeing the scene there. His crash landing seemed futile as the great draconian beast simply jumped a great distance from where he saw Cecil would land. The bloodied warrior did not care for what damage this would do to himself, but as he descended rapidly only wondered if he would make it to him before he could do any massive attacks. He landed, bringing a massive bunch of debris into the air around him. His choice land split majority of the fleshy mass that he had gathered in the air, which was primarily to damage his target further but now had served to break his fall. Still; as he positioned himself to punch through the dragon, the bulk of his hands, his knuckles were built up to withstand the pressure the ground would bring. That which he brought upon himself with that jump. As one who decided the capacity of their flesh, he was not so damaged when his knuckles met the blood-soaked ground.

The entire area around the man would suddenly twist and distort into an incomprehensible sight. The grass rose from the ground and was now blotting out his peripheral vision. For just a few moments while he had been recovering from shock was he then reminded of the fighting going on: Directly ahead of him were Thousands of soldiers all locked in battle out of nowhere, beside him, behind him, all around was fighting going on. Blade pit to blade; Yet not one person turned to the new one that had fallen from the sky. This was a battle-field clearly and the revolving intensity was enough to hike the nerves of any living being. Blood was shed at rapid rates and the ground beneath everyone’s feet was pooling blood, It would become clear now that this was an active genocide, there were simply too many people and escalating casualties to be anything but mass murder committed against royalty. Everyone involved would likely be dead, except for his Princess, that was for sure. And while Cecil could only be in observation if he did not join in as well. The dragon was too far ahead, and he was not going to just chase it down, he would carve a path of blood until he directly saw him again: These people became illusions of his past, a wall of flesh that he would tear down once again. They were impervious to incoming damage from him as what was happening was a scripted showing, no one defeated the Kingdom of Wrath in open combat. The blood under him however was ripe with many different cells and originated in the bodies of living men.

He grew blades of sharp diseased organs, becoming dense from his power. Taking those; he began running point-blank ahead trying to ensure the dragon had no place on the ground while Cecil still breathed. The warlocks were doing a fine job of saving the ones on the floor, while Cecil would make it unsafe for the remaining opposition of grunts until he found one strong. His arms tore people in half, some would manage to cut him before then, but would be split apart all the same. His eyes had deadened and became cold completely, with no satisfaction as long as Gabrielle remained necessary on this battle-field.

Razorbackwriter:  It was now a battle that rivaled any of the great events in history. The humans world of Terra could not possibly compete with the likes of the Demonic Princes and their savage armies. One might think it strange that all this was over the simple killing of a Prince by Gabriel, however one must understand that this was Hell, and the Seven Princes were of Sin. Each driven by that desire; and what could you expect from one like Mammon, whose true nature of Greed was showing through. Mammon had one of the best armies, fought in the most hellish of armor at great risk to himself….and all to prove a point. Hell was run by men, not the scantily clad wenches that easily destroy their mates; such as what had happened to Belial. In Mammon’s mind there was no Princess of Hell, just a whore that preyed on men’s needs and wasted when no longer of use.

Within the beserker armor; great change was occurring to the Prince of Greed. He no longer sounded like the pompous sexist pig of a man, but he was now more beast than anything else. Mammon chose his first target on which to wield his soul crying sword. With a great powered swing, he attempted to slice the Veiled man in two – who had been mostly obscured by a dark veil for the start of the fighting. But he was not totally unprepared for Mammon, having met the upward slash of Mammon’s blade with his own. The clash of two swords would cause a massive shock wave of sound and vibration, that reverberated back down through the handle and would jolt Mammon in such a way, that he fell back and had to grip his sword’s handle tighter. It was in this moment that the veiled man’s appearance really shone through. Light purple blue skin and spiky white hair. Mammon let out a roar of laughter on seeing his foe for the first time. It was hollowed, as if he had spoken down a long tunnel. .

” You own a extremely powerful blade. That much is for certain” The veiled man said, before using the momentum of his blade in a forward push to drive Mammon back. Mammon, who was still at full strength, did take a step back but planted his boot hard by the heel into the floor to slow and steady his stance once more, as he watched the veiled man flip backwards. Mammon changed his hand grip now to a two handed hold on the blade. To follow the veiled man in Mammon’s eyes was to lead him into a trap; away from the main prize of that bitch; Gabriel. Snarling he spat the word”COWARD!”, before his attention was seized by the whistling sound of an oncoming object. The skull helm turned sharply, where he then saw the oncoming of a spear being thrown at him with strength by none other than….Baal. The fire tipped spear blazing, struck the left shoulder of Mammon, it’s spear head piercing the armor plating. Mammon roared not in pain, but in anger. His closest ally had turned on him. Mammon released a hand from his sword grip and then reached up as the spear was wedged into his armor plating, with blood spewing out from the hole around the blade tip. One with the armor, he snapped the spear length free from the arrow head which was slowly being consumed by the armor itself as it worked to close the gap in the plating – forging the metal into itself. The spear length clattered to the ground as Mammon yelled back at Baal. ”And I’ll make you cook and eat your own flaccid cock! You treacherous pig!”

It was clear that there was now no love between the Prince of Gluttony and the Prince of Greed.

The bowmen, though dwindling in number due to the cannon fire and the constant attacks from the Wrath army were not retreating as one might imagine. Flanked now by the horseman, they made a full on run at the Castle to take on ALL of the Wrath army in a squirmish that would go down as the Day Hell turned in on itself. The battle elephants were now having to defend themselves, some spooked as their drivers were struck by enemy fire, and were now charging indiscriminately at the waves of soldiers regardless of whose side they were on. It was demon against demon, orc against orc. The Greed army was under orders to fight to the last man, and that was exactly what it intended to do.

The beserker armor was now changing forms as it became more skeletal in its shape, though black as night. The loud footfalls of the Prince of Greed would signal he was on the march to end the one that had started all of this, with her murderous spree. He knew Baal would probably make another attack, and boy did he hope he did. Mammon knew that if Baal was under the spell of the Princess, it would distract him from trying to end the Prince of Greed in battle. Baal only had enough blood to use his brain…or his cock, so if she was there flaunting her womanhood, Baal would be put off. Mammon was counting on it.

”COME FACE ME, YOU STINKING TART. I CAN SMELL YOUR FISHY SNATCH FROM HERE!”
